“Well, great place. Just arrived in the area and tried this place. I’m from Austin and the barbecue. Here is amazing. The service is incredible. Everybody was overtly professional positive and helpful. They played great country music in the dining room and have a wonderful selection of six different barbecue sauces to choose from their mac & cheese was delicious. “We’ve eaten at The Falls for both date nights and family outings and were extremely impressed every time. I was excited to hear they also do catering! We called The Falls, spoke to Kelly and she was super helpful, communicative and helped with everything from how much food would be appropriate for our size event and how many staff would be recommended. We had our annual Santa party with 190 people and everyone was super impressed with the food quality, the attentive staff and how friendly and courteous they were. They left my house cleaner than before the party and even boxed up some left overs for us to enjoy. They’re a true blessing and made our party one we’ll remember for years! “Food was good. Steaks cooked to proper temp. Broccoli a little oversteamed, but still edible. Seating was a bit tight. We were a party of 5 and all of our plates barely fit on the table. Service was excellent!!! Entire staff was incredibly nice, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food coming out was very well timed. Apps came out quick with enough time to eat and have a few mins for the food to settle before the mains came out. No wait for water or drinks to be refilled. Wish the bread was pre-sliced, only bc we had kids at the table and wanted them to feel like they could serve themselves, but it was tough for them to slice on their own. Not at all a restaurant problem. Usually don't go to chain steak spots, but this staff and service made the experience totally worth it and then some. My tip wound up being almost as much as our 5-person meal bc of how impressed I was with their service. Can't speak highly enough of the staff here. Amazing job to the whole team!“

“This place was recommended by a friend who lives and breathes KBBQs, this was my actual first one and have stuck to it since, Richard was our server, he made our experience the best and was helpful with understanding things, unfortunately he no longer works there but Ashley the lady from the bar takes care of us now, I recommend their lemonades they have like 3 different flavors, anyways I love love love coming here their brisket, pork belly and everything is to die for ESPECIALLY the teriyaki sauce to dip your meats in ;) , there is no other place that I will eat KBBQ's at unless I moved far away so come on over and spend that money because they need to stay in business until the day I die.“

“Two days ago we had the 1/3/2022 mini blizzard here in nova. I had started my new job just down the street from their location so decided to order curb side pickup from online. Well, when I finally go outside and start driving I see how bad the weather is and get to RHB but it looks closed. I pull in and promptly get stuck at the entryway. I finally make it and get my car out of the unplowed lot and decide i best go back to my new job hungry. I had no food, it was birthday and I was pretty sure after encountering the weather I may be stranded at this job over night. So, I drive back to my office and get stuck right at the entryway of the parking lot! Then the restaurant manager from RHB calls me about my order and I explain what happened and my current situation . He says just drive down the street and he will bring it out to me And I explain im stuck again but ill try! So 15 mins later im stuck in the same spot and a random gentleman in a truck stops and offers to plow me out which was no easy task but he does it anyways and then RASHEED RHB calls me again and i explain my dilemma snd says ill bring it to you send the address. Im like omg thank you! What are you arrives at my office I offered a Tip snd he says no but I explained that I had been stuck in the snow twice and that it’s my birthday and I might be stranded here thank you so much. He wished me a happy birthday and I told him that let me do something so I’m writing this review. Go see Rashid at the red hot and blue and Fairfax one of the nicest guys!“

“I recently visited Makchang Dodok K-BBQ, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home, walking us through the menu and offering helpful suggestions for first-timers. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for their guests.

The service was fast and efficient without feeling rushed. Our server kept checking in to make sure everything was cooked to our liking and that our drinks and side dishes were always full. It’s rare to find such a friendly and professional team at a busy restaurant, and they truly stood out.

As for the food—delicious! The meats were fresh and flavorful, and the signature makchang (beef or pork intestine) was perfectly prepared with that satisfying char. If you’re a fan of authentic Korean BBQ, this place delivers both in taste and atmosphere.

Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. “Absolutely love Qui, it’s my number one kbbq spot but they’ve definitely lost a star after switching out their sauce (the Gochujang type one). If you’re gona switch out a sauce I think it should atleast taste similar or be the same consistency. This one is grainy and doesn’t even taste good. Definitely took away from the experience. It also looks like tomato sauce. Other than that, my experience there is always amazing. Pls switch back the sauce lol“

The side dishes (banchan) are like little appetizers, and the Kimchi is hands down the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant—fresh, flavorful, and incredibly special. It’s a taste that’s sure to impress, especially for those new to Korean cuisine. Plus, the convenient location makes it an easy choice. Sides come with it and other dishes like japchae and soups are also available. Feed a group very well and be out in an hour! Only complaint is that it's very noisy, not the best for conversations. We had to wait for them to assemble a table for 7 people (no reservation), otherwise there would have been no wait.“
