“Wanted a quick bite for lunch and decided to settle here for some Italian food in Vienna. Atmosphere was nice and service seemed okay. Got the Bucatini All' Amatriciana and the Penne Al Salmone Affumicato. Prices were decent and the portion sizes were good. The bucatini felt a little plain for my taste(needed a significant amount of parmesan on top for flavor) and the Penne was too creamy as well. Overall, not the best but if I really wanted Italian food in Vienna then here would be an okay option.“
“Small but cozy cafe, wine bar and food on the 2nd floor with live jazz music, which is different from the 1st floor. It's been a while since I found a place with live music. I was just going to have a cup of coffee, but I like jazz music, so I had another glass of wine! I'll have to come for dinner next time.“
“We came her for my Birthday this time. That's because we have come before and really enjoyed our meal and service. My wife and I have two favorite high-end restaurants here in the DMV. For Italian, it's Mias in Alexandria. For steak, it's Capital Grille. This is our favorite place to go for a steak, other than what I make at home. Yes, you will pay more for your meal here. I joked about how I could work an extra day per week, and we could make coming here a weekly thing. That actually might not be a bad idea, but monthly would be better and more reasonable. The service is perfect, exactly what you would expect from a place like this. The food was all prepared perfectly, and you can't ask for a better wine list. The cocktails are also on point. If you are looking for a nice restaurant for a special occasion, you really should consider The Capital Grille. If you are looking for simply having a great meal, with great service and atmosphere, seriously consider The Capital Grille.“
“My wife and I recently dined at the “Ruth and Chris” restaurant in Fairfax and were thoroughly impressed by the great food and the impeccable service. The menu displayed a variety of great steak and seafood dishes. We chose the crab cakes and sea bass. Mason served as our waiter for the visit, was extremely attentive to our needs, and was knowledgeable of the menu. He ensured that our meal was perfect, except for the lobster bisque, which was out of his control. He provided excellent service and ensured our satisfaction. From the outstanding welcome by the hostess to the superb service by our waiter, we had a fantastic dining experience.“
“Service was excellent. Server, wish I remembered his name, was attentive and gave the right mix of checking on us and leaving our party to enjoy our time together. He game great recommendation cot both wine and meals. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try“
“Weekday lunch no reservation, no wait. Valet for $5 makes life easy. We gave eaten here or the other Capital Grille locations numerous times over the years. Classic steak house fare. We opted for lighter fare.Service is prompt with a smile and informative. The atmosphere is nice, loud especially when there is a group dining in one of the private rooms. This is one of our “go to” restaurants for a steak.“
“Idlywood is a favorite spot for dinner. The service is excellent, with a good selection of wines and an atmosphere that permits conversation at normal speaking levels. We tried a couple of new dishes as well as a favorite appetizer (shrimp ajo) and salmon Caesar. We haven't been disappointed in any of the salmon selections. The branzino is also a favorite. The chicken parmesan, a new item , was especially good. Highly recommended.“
“Love the cozy ambience and the phenomenal wine selection. Kevin is a great Sommelier who has tasted every bottle he carries. If you enjoy fine wine, it's a beautifully curated selection. The best part is that you can buy your wine at the store and then they open it right for you at dinner without gouging you at a 3-4x markup! Imagine getting a good burgundy at an affordable price for dinner! They've had the same chef for years and the food is very consistent. Highly recommend for a date night or just a meet up with friends who love great wine. Wine Stop is a great gem for us here in Fairfax!“
“Been here twice and had fantastic service and food both times! We sat at the bar and the bartenders are so helpful and knowledgeable with the wine which is great as I am no expert! They brought out a few options to try and it was very helpful to settle on what I wanted to drink that evening. The food is amazing the burger and smashed fingerling potatoes are one of the best versions of a burger I've ever had. The pork chop was juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. At this point I really trust the kitchen here it seem like they really know what they're doing! It's so great having a quality place take over from the long standing Clydes that used to occupy this space. Can't wait to return and try something else!“
“I visited this location last year and had Trent as my bartender/server. I had to come back to Tysons Corner so decided to stop by in and to my surprise, Trent was still working at this location. EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT service every time. The spring menu is delicious! Ask for Trent!“
“Came here just because I am sick of eating fast food and was out. It’s a traditional Thai food with a moody ambiance. The customer service was great and food was good. The veg dumplings was sooo good! The pad Thai was average. The waiter was attentive and helpful.“
“Meat quality is second to none here, as a top tier steakhouse! Add the fact that Korean main entrees also come with prix fixe menu is a huge plus, as both jjampong and beef fried rice were excellent! Bingsoo dessert was fluffy and delicious, and the lunch menu is a true bargain, even compared to their remarkable dinner prix fixed.“
“Service was outstanding. I went for a birthday dinner and they were so accommodating and friendly. Prices were what you expect for a steakhouse. Very elegant and quiet atmosphere, ideal for an upscale date night. The entrance is a little tucked away but they also offer valet parking, so pulling up to the front is most convenient.“
“This was my first time trying a Thai restaurant, so I can't comment on the food with any knowledgeable detail. The interior is quiet, peaceful, and well decorated. The establishment is very clean, including the bathroom. The server was polite and friendly. I started my meal with the chicken satay. I enjoyed the peanut sauce that comes with that dish. I had the lunch special green curry with shrimp as my main entree. It was an experience for sure. There's a lot going on with the flavor. It was spicy, but not overly so--and this is unique to everyone's individual taste anyhow. I was surprised by how many shrimp were in ny little lunch size dish--it was at least 7. The salad was a nice size and the dressing was tasty. The lettuce was crisp and green without wilted pieces. Hands down, my very favorite aspect of this meal , was the dessert. If you tend to get too full before you make it to dessert, I highly suggest taking half your entree to go so that you will be able to enjoy the dessert instead. I had the coconut icecream and it was absolutely heavenly. If you like almond joy or mounds candies, you'll adore this icecream. I wish I had a cooler in ny car because I would stock up on it and take it home. If I lived near this place, I would come here at least once a week just for icecream. It would be a lovely mellow place to come read a book or do some homework/work from home type stuff while enjoying a little treat or a meal.“
“I came to Reston Town Center for my first time on a business trip and had quite a difficult time settling on a choice for dinner, given all the attractive options. I'm very glad that I settled on Barcelona. I was seated right away by a very welcoming and helpful young lady (I didn't get her name, sadly) who walked me through the menu and recommended an excellent wine pairing for my entree - Paella Salvaje with a 6oz glass of Nucerro Rioja Reserva 2018. I can't recommend it enough. Having only tried seafood paella in the past, this land-based paella was a true delight. What caught my eye on the menu was the pork belly, which absolutely melts in the mouth, and the young lady who seated me kindly ensured that I was aware that the dish consisted of a mix of meats (chicken, chorizo, and gaucho sausage) as well as rice and vegetables, as well as that the dish would take about 35 minutes to prepare - very thoughtful on her part to ensure that I understood what I was ordering. Elijah, the young gentleman who waited on me, was equally attentive, regularly checking up on me and also providing good recommendations for dessert, for which I ended up choosing the Crepas with Seasonal Fruit, which was an interesting take on crepes, folded into a sort of tricorn shape, garnished with citrus creme and topped with powdered sugar and walnuts - very yum! The portions were quite generous for both the entree and dessert, and I am looking forward to finishing off crepe #2 (which I took to-go) with my morning coffee. I can see why Barcelona was the only restaurant in the Reston Town Center that was reasonably busy at 10pm on a Sunday night as far as I could see (and I walked past quite a few restaurants on my way there). I would definitely eat here again if I returned to the area and highly recommend them.“
“This is really a Mediterranean place, with typical options. They even asked if I wanted ice in the water, nice touch! I had a wrap with lamb. The lamb was hit or miss, some chunks tender and some quite chewed. My wife's falafel wrap was wonderful. The coffee and water were great.“
“Food was excellent as always. Our server was very slow even when we were finished and the restaurant was pretty empty it took forever to bring our bill, pick up the credit cards, and return with the receipts for signature. Our server may have had tables in the bar but did not appear to be serving anyone else in the main dining area“
“Food tasted great. Service was slow for breakfast. Seats were close to other tables and hard to talk over other tables. They offer dairy free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Dairy free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian optionsParking: Valet and paid self parking availableKid-friendliness: Lots of kid options“
“We had our second annual gathering for high tea here. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant and I ate everything!! Very considerate of dietary restrictions. It was all delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: Valet parked our accessible van. One of our guest uses a power wheelchair and she had a very delightful time. Staff was wonderful. High marks all around!“
“Just had the best Onion rings, Mozzarella Sticks, and Cheesy Garlic Bread to share with my family. Everything was amazing, I just had to write a review. These sides, plus so much more amazing Italian food, are available at a Deli's Location in Fairfax and their new location in Burke @ 9413 Old Burke Lake road! I highly encourage everyone to get their Gameday sides from here, or to stop by for lunch!! Oh, and not to mention I got a free cannoli with my purchase:)“
“I feel compelled to share how great this place is. This is my fourth or fifth time here after "discovering" it a few months ago after living in the area a few years. My first time here I asked really silly questions since I was not reading the menu correctly. The staff were incredibly patient and never treated me awkwardly, which tells me their training is stellar. The second time I came for a date with my husband behaving myself much better, and ended up ordering a seasonal alcoholic drink named Sweater Weather that completely changed how I think about cocktails. It is flavorful and unexpected, and unlike anything tasted at a cocktail lounge in many of the global haunts I have visited in the past. The bartender, Chloe, was warm and inviting, and she gave cocktail accolades to Matt, the bar manager, who I have yet to meet. Both deserve raises. I understand that the owners know all of their employees names (and own multiple service industry businesses), which in this day and age is something to be in awe of. I have come here for coffee, a meal, a snack, and yes, a repeat cocktail, and all of it has tasted fresh and made with care. There is tons of outdoor space when you want to get out of the noisy inside crowd (because it can definitely get crowded), but there are smaller rooms upstairs that also make it cozy. It feels open and yet intimate here. My teenager even likes it! It's wild to me that one place can provide so much, but it does. High praise all around.“
“Living local with great brews and food! First time at the Oakton location and will definitely be back! Love the original but this one is even closer to home. Tried the Ghost of Val and the Le Grand Chocolat which were both delicious. The food options from The Fermented pig were perfect to compliment the beers. We tried the mac and cheese, deviled eggs and slider trio which were also as equally delicious as the beers. Back in 2021 I purchased 2 kegs for a birthday party and the staff then and again now we’re fantastic! If you love a great Local spot check out Settle Down East Oakton!“
