I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“

She made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful. the atmosphere was casual yet somewhat formal and we had a blast! Can't forget about how scrumptious those rolls were too! “Just found this place while walking up and down Church St. So happy I did. Walk in and order at the counter. The employee was super nice and friendly. They have lots of sandwich options or you can build your own. The sandwich was massive! $13 with a bag of chips and it was well worth the price. I had turkey with fixings and the meat was half the sandwich. They do not skimp! It was exactly what I was looking for. I only had half because it was so big, so easily shareable if you like that. The leftovers were just as good!“

“Local taphouse gem with decent pub fare. Shelburne tap house has a decent beer selection. Combined with a decent variety tavern food, the tap house is a very good lunch spot. We stopped in after visiting the Shelburne museum...good choice!! We had the crazy fries starter. It was definitely a good choice, fries topped with bacon, tomatoes, cheese and much more. My entree was the fat cow burger which was delicious! The food servings were huge. Expect to take food home! The tap house is worth the visit when visiting north western Vermont!“

“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. That's always the best indicator of a good place to eat!
This place is family owned ( 3rd generation) and operated, small but serves up delicious food!
They even have accolades posted from the local newspapers.
You may have a little bit of a wait to be seated but the wait is well worth it.
I had sausage gravy and a biscuit with home fries and coffee, it was very tasty!
I have traveled all over and not everyone can make good sausage gravy, and the home fries were a nice addition. The coffee was hot and tasted like old fashioned diner coffee( my favorite).
My server Maddie was very sweet and fast! This place was packed and she was constantly moving, but not too busy for a kind word and a smile.
