“This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it's at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

“We went for a bday celebration. Highlights: free parking, allowed to bring in cakes, beers served with coldest frosted mugs, yum yum sauce was SOO good, filet cooked perfectly. Lowlights: food was overcooked(chicken-dry, lobster-tough, chewy, not fresh), chef was least skilled/entertaining, no tricks, no added laughs I would only return if we get a different chef because he overcooked our food and was least entertaining, ruined our hibachi experience.“

They have a very large menu so I hope to return to try a few more things. Service was fast and friendly. Interior get a bit dated but otherwise clean.“

The only reason I’m putting 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered the “house sake cold” for $10, and when the bill came, they had charged us for a $30 bottle of sake. When we asked about it, they said they don’t have cold house sake. Could have sworn it was on the menu. They insisted it isn’t… and honestly we didn’t like the sake anyway. Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. “Ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki combo with gyoza (T20) for 18.99 and was not disappointed. This place does teriyaki right, although some may say the sauce is too sweet for their liking. Personally, the sauce paired with the fried rice was well balanced. The gyoza was crispy but lacked flavor, and the dipping sauce it came with was too vinegary. I shared this plate with my sibling and we could only finish half of it. Great value for the amount of food you get.

Also got the bulgogi kimbap for $8.99 and found that the amount of rice was too much. I prefer a thin layer of rice so the filling inside can shine.

“I get a bahn mi from Nissi any time I’m near Othello station (which is a lot haha)! They make an unreal delicious tofu bahn mi, and it includes delicious mushrooms. They are accommodating to making vegetarian versions of foods (I saw a delicious fried egg/rice paper stuffed with bean sprouts and meat, and they made me a vegetable one just because they saw I wanted to try it), and the shop owner and staff are so kind. I will be coming to this shop frequently, thank you Nissi!“

Have a good wine selection so step outside of the box and try a wine you never had before, the waiter can suggest. The prices are good, but remember the serving are large, you will not leave empty.
