“This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it's at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

“A great up-scale place for a date night out. The teppanyaki was fun and the food was generally great. We love the Salmon, and Shrimp. Beef & Chicken were pretty good. The Scallop was over-cooked and tough. All others were great. The price is on the high end. It is nice to go there occasionally for your special dates! Looks like the Sushi and Sashimi would be good as well. We will try that out next time.“

They have a very large menu so I hope to return to try a few more things. Service was fast and friendly. Interior get a bit dated but otherwise clean.“

“Ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki combo with gyoza (T20) for 18.99 and was not disappointed. This place does teriyaki right, although some may say the sauce is too sweet for their liking. Personally, the sauce paired with the fried rice was well balanced. The gyoza was crispy but lacked flavor, and the dipping sauce it came with was too vinegary. I shared this plate with my sibling and we could only finish half of it. Great value for the amount of food you get.

Also got the bulgogi kimbap for $8.99 and found that the amount of rice was too much. I prefer a thin layer of rice so the filling inside can shine.

“Walked by the night before and didn't have time to pop in after work, but took note of the cool looking new spot in GTown. Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. Ridiculously tasty, will be back with friends and family to try the rest of the menu and I'm sure you'll be serving my coworkers (repeatedly) as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I had a hankering for udon soup, and Grain House delivered (and then some). The beef was good quality, and they went to the effort of packaging the soup separately from everything else so the noodles didn't get soggy. The basic house salad was also very affordable ($2.50) and delicious.

When I came here last August, I got the Crazy Sandwich cut roll and it was also delicious. And it came in the form of adorable little triangle sandwich slices. 10/10 would eat here again.“

“Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“Nissi Banh is a Vietnamese deli, which is a staple of many Vietnamese communities. There are a lot of freshly made take-out and pantry items to choose from, and the staff is always nice.

I would recommend these options:
* bánh giò (banana leaf wrapped steam rice cake with ground pork) - The rice cake and pork are moist and tasty.
* nem nướng (pork meatball skewers) were really good and the flavor is just like the ones I ate growing up
* bánh ít trần (mung bean sticky rice dumplings): soo good with nice amount of filling

The bánh cuốn (rice rolls with ground pork) were okay, but from my experience, it’s harder to maintain freshness for this unless you go to a sit-down restaurant that serves it as soon as it’s made.

I haven’t tried the bánh mì or drinks here, which seem to be the most popular options here, but will hopefully be back to try them.“

“My wife and I walked in during prime hours without a reservation and were sat on short notice. The management was fantastic, food was great and the service excellent. Tony, our server, was friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and his pacing was amazing. Kudos to the entire staff we had a great time here and would highly recommend this location. “This is one of my go to places when I don't want to get food at work. I believe its a family owned business. My favorite is the regular teriyaki chicken. Food comes out freshly made, hot and the teriyaki sauce is the perfect balance of sweet. Usually do takeout as the lobby isn't the biggest but you can eat in. Beef was dry, and didn’t have any buttery taste, a but it a step down from say the beef used in a crying tiger dish. The rice was different, but not like it was particularly amazing. I liked that there was a lot of green onions. I also greatly enjoyed the Lemon Garlic sauce, it was definitely well made and umami.For the price tag of $23+ I felt the portion size wasn’t great, and the meal taste wasn’t much of a wow factor. For an office lunch, I would prefer something cheaper with greater portions size. There wasn’t much rice, and I felt it was a little thinly layered. I was more like 70% full after eating this.If you want to try something new and splurge a little then try Umami Express Wagyu Beef. This was decent food, I however will likely not order again“

“Everything is delicious. My only downside is eating here as a hungry vegetarian, who normally has great options in Taiwanese restaurants.
There are vegetarian options, but no proteins, like tofu. Even off the menu. I might be wrong, but memory serves that dough zone used to have a delicious tofu dish available, per most Taiwanese restaurants. Very disappointing.“
