“I absolutely love this spot...it is one of our regular date night choices. The atmosphere is super fun and relaxed, the food and drinks are delicious and trendy but the place and prices are not pretentious which is awesome. I am obsessed with the lavender lemonade and the cheese curds. Ever since a friend of mine introduced me, I am hooked and find myself craving this combo. Their fries and sliders are also delicious, and they have so many fun dipping sauces. The staff are always super friendly and cool.“

“Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. The lettuce was brown, black, and wilted throughout. I think they were rushing to switch from lunch to dinner and just threw anything together. Completely terrible experience.“

“I was surprised at how good everything was. Good sour beer, and cider, food was very good. Highly recommend.
Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds are good. Korean BBQ Cheese Steak is really good. Whiskey and Aged White Cheddar Burger also very good. CC“

“What an incredibly unique dining experience! The Derby and The Shop offers something you won’t find anywhere else in Seattle - the chance to dine surrounded by classic cars in their storage area. We hosted a private party here and were blown away by both the atmosphere and the food.
The venue is perfect for special events. The car storage setting creates an unexpectedly cool and fun backdrop that had our guests talking all night. It’s industrial yet welcoming, making for great conversation starters and photo opportunities.
The food definitely lived up to the unique setting. The appetizers during our cocktail hour were excellent quality and well-presented. For dinner, the chicken and waffles were absolutely outstanding - perfectly crispy chicken with fluffy waffles that hit all the right notes. The bulgogi lettuce wraps were another standout, offering fresh, flavorful Korean-inspired bites with tender, well-seasoned meat.
Service was attentive throughout our event, and the staff handled our private party seamlessly. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience that combines great food with an automotive twist, The Derby and The Shop delivers. Highly recommended for anyone wanting something different from the typical Seattle restaurant scene.“

“The brunch menu brought us in, but the service and atmosphere had us feeling like regulars. Mimosa’s, eggs Bennie’s, and Pattie K set the vibe.
Pattie K was friendly, super efficient, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Even when it got busy, she was on it, and you could tell she really cared about the guest experience. This is definitely a must visit spot!“

“I came in a few minutes after they opened and I was greeted with smiles! My server, Lillian, was very nice and the fish & chips were probably some of the best I've ever had (super crunchy and the slaw is yummy!). Will definitely be visiting here again when I pop back over to the island next time.“

“The only negative part of my experience was the path to get here. The path to the gum wall is a little difficult and as someone that happened to have lower mobility that day, it is unfortunate that there didn't appear to be any other accessible entrances however I personally don't fault them for that as Seattle as a whole can be a little difficult to navigate if you require accessible entrances. As for the service I was very attentively taken care of and served. The atmosphere is incredible, among the best in all of Seattle. Having a meal in this awesome and literal hole in the wall where ambient jazz music plays as you have a drink at a candlelit table with dim lighting was definitely a highlight of my trip. Genuinely the best pizza I've ever had in my life, too. If you've never had figs on a pizza, try it... it'll change your life!“

“If I could give this place ten stars, I would! The food and drinks are the best on the block but it’s just a compliment to the great people who work there. No matter how busy it is they never forget you and make you feel right at home.“

“This is the loveliest little place that despite its delicious menu and incredible cocktails still feels kind of unknown. Even friends that have lived in WSea for years haven’t heard of its existence. Even though I’d like to keep it that way, I’d much rather have it succeed and never go away.
Also, got to meet one of the owners tonight, super nice guy with very kind friends. The bathroom even has VIP club-style amenities like toothpicks, mints and lotion. We ❤️ Locöl.“

“This place is so cool. I felt like I was stepping into a 1920's jazz club. There was live jazz, dark and swanky, bartenders shaking up drinks and remarkable service. Not to mention the food was delicious. Try the deviled eggs, thank me later.😊“

I've had a lot of their cocktails over my visits and each one is complex and unique. If you get a chance come in and try their Vanilla Cheesecake Brownie, It was like a little cloud of heaven.“

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!“

“It's the location the People, the beauty of the property and did we mention the PEOPLE, who go above and beyond and that's rare these days. We have business in Seattle on occasion and Love the Fairmont Olympic. This Classy Spot reminds us of what upscale but not pretentious is supposed to be. We will be back in town my wife to do her KING5 Segment and hope they can accommodate us.“

“I felt like I was teleported in time to an early Nirvana performance during my visit. Central Saloon was on my Seattle bucket list and I am more than glad that I visited the venue. As a Nirvana fan, I was able to see where they had one of their first concerts ever if not their first concert. I enjoyed visited a music history site. The staff was also very polite, friendly, respectful and professional. I highly recommend visiting Central Saloon.“

“We stayed at the State hotel and enjoyed dinner at Ben paris the first night, brunch at Ben Paris on the second morning and drinks and appetizers on our final night. Every meal we ate was top notch! The burger w/ caramalized onions and the braised beef rib were amazing! The drinks were STRONG and anyone who knows me knows I love a GOOD STRONG drink. 🍸The brunch was also one of THE BEST BRUNCH PLATES I have ever had. The whole atmosphere of the restraunt is very nice and cozy. I noticed They got VERY BUSY for dinner on a random Tuesday night so that says ALOT about how good the food is.“

“This was my 3rd experience at Copperleaf and it did not disappoint. Each time I say the same thing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place! The natural, elegant decor and the cozy, inviting ambiance make you feel welcome from the start. The staff completely supports that feeling. They are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. You are never made to feel rushed. It is a relaxing, almost luxurious experience. The noise level is perfect. You can engage in conversation without straining to be heard. Also, despite being incredibly close to the airport and probably in the flight path, I have never heard any overhead noise. How is that even possible? The menu is terrific. I have been there for dinner before, and wanted to try the brunch. There are so many good options. I am a vegetarian and it is gratifying to feel that I have choices. Much appreciated. The food is delicious - beautifully prepared and presented. I was pleasantly surprised at the menu prices. I have been to other restaurants that offer far less of a fine dining experience and cost as much or more. I think it was an excellent value. My BFF and I were celebrating my 50th anniversary of moving to the northwest. We couldn't have picked a better spot. Thank you, Rochelle H Flynn“
