“A very nice Dumpling/ noodle house. The Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. Parking can be a bit tight. My one dislike. They tend to have high food prices. 8 bucks for a bowl of cold noodles. 5 bucks for tea. Just be aware its costly to eat here.“

I took my daughters for the first time tonight and was informed that this is now their favorite place to go. I didn’t have a chance to try a cocktail but the bar is well stocked and the drink menu looks fun. We’ll be back soon!“

I love that they offer a low sodium option for all the broths. Highly recommend the “just a little kick” and “picked veggies” broth flavor. I usually order their black ramen, which is pretty good. I’ve also tried their Vegan Harvest ramen, and it’s equally delicious. They also have monthly specials, so if you’re looking to try something new, you should check those out.

If you’re okay with eggs, you can switch out the thick noodles in the vegan ramen for thin ones.“

“This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the whole area! The food is all so delicious and it isn't super expensive like other Thai places, like Thai Kitchen Bird Pepper. The staff is so friendly, and treat you like family. And, the restaurant is easy to drive to, being right next to the Crossroads, with plenty of parking available.“

“I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). “The service here is always friendly and attentive! I was offered a cup of water even with a takeout order and the server personally brought my food to the table where I was waiting. The staff is warm and welcoming every single time!

The portions are very reasonable. I also like that the combo meal offers soup or beverage options.“

The intestine was really good and had the right amount of chewiness. The portion is also just right. As someone who usually eats a lot, I left the restaurant pretty full and satisfied. The dishes arrive vibrant and beautifully arranged, and once mixed, it becomes a harmony of textures and flavors that’s simply addictive. And don’t skip the banchan—each small dish brings its own personality and rounds out the meal in a way that feels both generous and authentic. Could not decide which one was my favorite! Out of all Korean restaurants ive ever been too this one won me over just with the banchan! The japchae was also hands down best of all time.

Service is was fast, making the whole dining experience even better. We did have reservations, the parking lot and restaurant was booming at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. Be sure to arrive a bit early if going during dinner time and prepare to fight for a spot or two or circle around a few times. But honestly, once you taste the food, you’ll realize it’s more than worth the effort.“

“Easy seating and plenty of parking. The food is easy to order there is a QR code where we submit the orders.

Definitely feels authentic, and the food comes out fresh and hot. Bought two different porridge. The porridges are a little watery, not very dense so they might not be filling.

Sampan porridge was really good. The shrimp was perfect. Plenty of fish and pork. The eggs was very limited.

Preserved egg and pork tasted similar, the porridges are very light so it allows folks to add pepper. I personally like it lighter so it's great that it allows others for adjusting.

The deep fried dough is great, perfectly made. Will probably buy it to go once in awhile.

The rice rolls are really tasty! One of them was sold out, so I tried the beef pork shrimp roll. Would highly recommend

“This feels like a hidden gem? The food and service were good. We had complimentary hot tea, hard to enjoy on a warm day but welcomed. I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences. The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request. I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It's also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.“

One standout dish was the Grilled Coconut Chicken on Rice- the chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and had a delicious creamy coconut flavor. The accompanying vinegar sauce paired wonderfully with the sticky rice, adding a nice tangy contrast.

I also ordered their Iced Coffee, which was rich, sweet, and almost dessert-like—ideal for a hot day. I actually got it for a picnic, and it was the perfect refreshing treat!

“This restaurant is underrated in overall, delicious meals with large portions with cheap prices. We keep returning to ordering meals almost weekly. One thing is you should disregard the inside tables/chairs are out of date, because the restaurant puts more efforts into the quality menu. Its front door is opened on the streets side, so people often missed it. I encourage you try them when you get a chance.“
