“I have been looking for a vegan bakery that can do carrot cake since that is my favorite. I ordered the chocolate cake and the carrot cake and bother were excellent. They are very sweet so the small size cake is enough :) The bakery itself is super cute.”
“This is more like a fancy bar with food, they have a huge list of liquor to choose from. We came here for dinner and the food was very good. It's a little bit on the pricier side but priced well for the quality.
We had a number of appetizers including salads, truffle fries, oysters, and steamed clams. The salads were excellent, the truffle fries were good, and the seafood was very good and fresh.
I ordered the black cod for my entree and it was cooked just right (not overcooked), with excellent flavor. Although the food was not Michelin star quality, it's a good solid four stars for food quality, and surprisingly good for this type of venue.
The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and came around often enough so that we never had to go looking for her. We had a people for dinner and they put us in a back room where it was private and quiet, very nice.
This is a great venue for a business dinner, but probably not the best for young kids given the liquor theme.”
“My girls took me to Cafe Veloce for my birthday and it was amazing! Service was great and the food was superb. I had the Dungeons pasta, yummy!!! It was my first time dinning at Cafe Veloce and will not be my last. Highly recommended.”
“Food is always amazing and the owners are there and so gracious. Can be quite loud and seems like every table is celebrating a birthday, so by the 3rd or 4th singing of happy bday it gets slightly annoying. Other than that it's terrific”

“Babaganush, roasted eggplant was like a dream with vinegar and pomegranate. Grilled meat was tasty, too.
Pita bread were nice and hot. All of us were very happy to find this place.”

“Best Thai food I’ve ever had outside of…Thailand! Fresh, bold flavor combinations are a wonderful mix of traditional and modern. Huge menu and absolutely outstanding staff. Very accommodating for allergies. Energetic atmosphere, high ceilings and a very cool vibe. Highly recommend!”

“My son wanted to try gyros so we got some to go, they were SO good!! The artichoke dip & pita is great too.”
“Café Juanita delivers one of those rare dining experiences that feels both elevated and deeply comforting at the same time. The atmosphere is amazing—cozy and intimate, yet still refined and a little fancy without ever tipping into pretentiousness. It’s exactly the kind of warm, modern elegance that fits the Pacific Northwest so well.
From the moment you walk in, the staff sets the tone. They’re incredibly welcoming and genuinely enthusiastic about the food, taking the time to explain each dish with care and clarity. It makes the entire meal feel like a guided culinary journey rather than just dinner.
We chose the set menu, and it was exceptional from the very first bite all the way through dessert. Standouts for me included the caviar small bite—yogurt tucked inside a delicate curled crisp that somehow managed to be both subtle and explosive in flavor. The beef carpaccio on a crispy cracker was another highlight, perfectly balanced and beautifully textured. And the seafood medley? Absolutely unforgettable. Every bite felt intentional, layered, and crafted to surprise you.
If I had to call out a downside, it’s the parking. Ugh. It’s definitely not the easiest. Plan to find street parking or use one of the nearby retail lots where you’ll likely need to pay.
Overall, Café Juanita is worth every moment and every bite. A truly special dining experience that lingers long after you leave.”

“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.”
“This used to be a excellent beer bar serving amazing beer with mediocre food. Then it changed owners and they started serving solid sushi and still serving amazing beer. They changed chefs earlier this year and they are one of the best sushi restaurants who happens to serve amazing beer. They do sell out of specialty dishes (e g., Ankimo: monkfish liver pate) which is how it should be for delicasies.”
“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. Thank You Anthony’s for making my Birthday Special and unforgettable!”
“Been to many Italian restaurants being Italian living in Australia and to being at Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland Washington Seattle was the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Service was outstanding and had the best white wine I have ever had in my life a memorable experience”
“We went there today to have some great Mexican food and because my friend Sheryl was in town from Ohio. We had a great time and also had margaritas!!!”
“This place was great my wife told me we were going here to pick up some Christmas presents 🎁 and I was pleasantly surprised what a great shop and the ladies behind the counter had all the information you needed on Anything they sold if you need a specific tea or items for tea then this is your SPOT !!! “I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”

“Food was really good. Different experience than other Mongolian Grills with picking the protein, but they served generous portions. Was also pleasantly surprised that it came with a scoop of rice.
Really enjoyed the garlic sauce, ginger sauce, teriyaki sauce combined.”
“When Prometheus stole fire from the heavens to give unto man, I now believe it was for want of Wing Dome 6 alarm sauce. As merciful as it is cruel, the flavor is delivered to you with equal parts pain. Upon first bite of the backfire burger, I glimpsed the infinite. Although the flavor was tempered with a bittersweet sadness as I knew I would only have the chance to experience this for the first time but once.
Wing dome is a sacred place where us mortals can truly experience greatness if but for a fleeting moment.

“We had a big group and tried the hot and sour soup, the starter platter, general Tao’s chicken, dry green beans, tofu hot pot, beef chow mein, Hawaiian fried rice, and popcorn mushrooms. Everything was great and the staff is so kind. Definitely worth the drive from Seattle. We will be back! Updated from previous review on 2025-12-06”

“Side Hustle: Taproom & Experimental Kitchen in Kirkland is a great place to kick back and enjoy locally sourced beers, wines and food. Friendly servers and great atmosphere. Check it out!”
“Seoul Meat Co. really impressed me! The meat quality is some of the best I’ve ever had at a Korean BBQ spot — super fresh, beautifully marbled, and so flavorful once grilled. You can actually taste the difference compared to other places. The side dishes were great too — fresh, tasty, and they kept refilling them without us even asking. Everything paired so well together, from the kimchi to the sauces.
The staff were awesome — friendly, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we were taken care of. They even helped with grilling, which made the whole experience really easy and fun. I also loved the atmosphere here. It’s modern, clean, and has a lively energy without being too loud. Perfect for hanging out with friends, family dinners, or even a date night.
Price-wise, it felt totally worth it for the quality you get. We left super full and satisfied, already talking about what we’ll order next time. Overall, Seoul Meat Co. has become one of my favorite spots for Korean BBQ — great food, great service, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back soon!”
“Friendly staff they are welcoming and approachable. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Wine selections are amazing.”
“Good beer selection. Has good IPAs, low on bitterness, rich on flavor, somewhat hoppy, are refreshing in taste and have fruity/citrusy notes. Tried Plethora, Never Say Die, 99 Juicy and Blood Orange along with Helles Lager. Ambience is somewhat rustic and really relaxing with good music in the background. The location is within city limits too. Staff is very excellent, really hospitable, very friendly, takes time to explain, allows you to try different ones and clearly values you as a customer. Must try for so many reasons.”

“Just had the BBQ pork belly . Everything fresh and quality of the sandwich is outstanding, served with smiles. Lovely spot for delicious Banh mi (baguette with choice of meat and toppings) for a meal. Plus they have delicious Butterfly sunset tea,Black milk tea, Thai tea and fresh smoothies … All my favorite”
“I always love coming to this place because they always have great portion sizes and excellent customer service. I am a frequent customer and in my opinion one of the best teriyaki places in the area!! One of the many things I love eat here is the Korean fried chicken which is only available during dinner time it doesn’t need sauce to make it taste amazing but when you have it with the sauce it elevates the flavor more and each time I order anything from the menu, you can tell everything is fresh and piping hot when you get it! This business deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion and I recommend this place to all my customers at my place of work. 10/10 in my book!”
“Just moved to the area from Bellevue, I've eaten at over 30 teriyaki places across the east side and Seattle. This place is insanely good and a crazy good value. Got the spicy chicken and a chicken katasu. Blown away at how well prepared the food was.
Friendly, fast service.
I will be coming back again and again to try everything on the menu.”
“Wonderful Italian restaurant. a Kirkland neighborhood treasure.”

“Excellent food. Great service. A bit on the expensive side but great for a girls night out!”
“Hands down the best Sushi I think I’ve ever had. It is always fresh, like just caught fresh. Everyone who works there is so nice and it just feels like such a nice little peaceful place to eat. I really need to dine in one of these days!”

The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is the best food I have tasted in this genre. It’s a fantastic, do not miss place that you will love. From soup to plates and bowls to salads, it never disappoints. You will find yourself craving more every time.”

“Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. I know everyone’s adrenaline through the roof!”
“My first time there and I'm ready to go back for more! The people were friendly, kitchen was immaculate, and everything is made from scratch. We tried the Kofta, and Shawarma wraps, falafel, Greek fries, and a dessert and liked it all. (But just a hint - don't order your fries first because it's hard to stop eating them they are so crispy and tasty!). We will definitely go back and recommend it to others!!”
“How about this for a review - OH What good luck, I just ate the most magnificent duck. At Sparrows I darn near made a glutton and fool of myself. Roasted duck with a cherry port wine sauce. My, my, my a beautiful cherry surprise. A leg, thigh and breast accompanied with an Argintine red wine. Lord all mighty is in the most rewarding places. Sparrows is all up in my palate doing naughty things that taste so so so good. Enough said - get there. DLNewt”
“My Father's Day Surprise was a visit to Arleana's Restaurant in Kirkland, Washington. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was very good, especially the jerk syrup was was delicious. And I am very picky about jerk seasoning. The Bloody Mary had a unique flavor. It was not my traditional BM. But it was surprisingly great. It's quite a drive for me. But I will return for the selection of food, drink and ambiance. This was a great dining experience.”

“Great restaurant for the whole family! We visited on a weekday and there was plenty of seating available inside, which made it easy to get a table right away. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was attentive, and the food came out quickly. A nice spot to enjoy a relaxed meal together.”
“Here’s a polished review highlighting Carlos:
⸻
We had a wonderful experience here while sitting together as a family, enjoying drinks and catching up. Carlos, our waiter, took exceptional care of us from start to finish. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable, checked on us often, and genuinely made us feel welcome.
We had also eaten here the day before and were impressed enough to return—highly recommend the food if you’re considering a meal. But truly, Carlos is what made this visit special. His attention, warmth, and professionalism elevated the entire experience. If you dine here, make a point to ask for Carlos—you won’t regret it.”
“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.”

“Good Pakistani authentic taste. We had Halwa Puri nasha and everything was excellent. Our waitress was very professional. I didn’t ask her name and i thou that she was from Bangladesh but turn out to be a Mexican did great job on explaining with correct accent ( that shows good training on your wait staff).”
“DELICIOUS! People need to start reviewing. I came here after 7 clients recommended them! So nice and friendly. Always willing to explain the flavors in such a cute place!”
“I meant to take a photo before I devoured my lunch.... but it smelled too good to wait.
Incredibly tender fried chicken, with a crispy outside... we'll definitely be coming back so I can try more things! The bites I stole of my partner's curry were also incredible, so maybe I'll get that next time?”
“Mendo Farms is one of my go-to's now for daily fare. Can't say enough about how courteous and considerate the staff are compared to most other establishments in Totem Lake. Erik, Filip, Julianna, Dave, Diana (I pretty much know them all by now) always greet you with smiles and enthusiasm. The menu is pretty unique and I'm hooked on the turkey avo. In a word, exceptional value all around.”
