“My girls took me to Cafe Veloce for my birthday and it was amazing! Service was great and the food was superb. I had the Dungeons pasta, yummy!!! It was my first time dinning at Cafe Veloce and will not be my last. Highly recommended.”
“This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We had Rimini cater an event and that was fantastic, but this was another level of fun and community. The food was exceptional, the entertainment and bringing people together was so much fun. We are 30 plus year Kirkand residents and business owners and this was the most fun we’ve had downtown in a long time!”
“My son wanted to try gyros so we got some to go, they were SO good!! The artichoke dip & pita is great too.”
“Just really really really really delicious. Could maybe come with more pita bread when you order a plate. I really should subtract a star for that but the place is really just that damn good.”

“When Prometheus stole fire from the heavens to give unto man, I now believe it was for want of Wing Dome 6 alarm sauce. As merciful as it is cruel, the flavor is delivered to you with equal parts pain. Upon first bite of the backfire burger, I glimpsed the infinite. Although the flavor was tempered with a bittersweet sadness as I knew I would only have the chance to experience this for the first time but once.
Wing dome is a sacred place where us mortals can truly experience greatness if but for a fleeting moment.

“The sushi rolls are fantastic, the tap list is diverse and well-selected, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere, and they have board games if you’d like to grab a drink and hang out for a bit. Definitely will be back! Would highly recommend the Ballard roll and their miso soup is a step above the rest.”
“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. Thank You Anthony’s for making my Birthday Special and unforgettable!”
“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.”
“Babaganush, roasted eggplant was like a dream with vinegar and pomegranate. Grilled meat was tasty, too.
Pita bread were nice and hot. All of us were very happy to find this place.”
“BiBi serves authentic, affordable, and delicious Persian food all while keeping it healthy and not compromising on quality. Highly recommend!”
Takeout Restaurants
“I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”

“Create your own stir fry. I've loved every sauce I tried, but the Spicy Mongolian is the best. Food is always fantastic, staff is great and will give you the exact amount of sauce you want, or put it on the side for you. They will let you go half and half on protein without additional charge. Tables are not waited. Easy to push some tables together for larger groups. They leave out halloween candy in October, and always have self serve fortune cookies year round. They technically have a weight limit for food bowls, but I heap noodles quite high and have never been charged more than the base rate. My go to for celebratory occasions.
Vegetarian options: Create your own stir fry, with an entire bar of vegetarian options. Tofu or egg available as proteins.
Dietary restrictions: Build your own, but grilled on a large surface that all other dishes are also grilled on. High potential for cross contamination
Parking: Usually a spot or two available to park right out front
Kid-friendliness: Kid bowls available at a cheaper price point, and they'll love building their own meal and getting fortune cookies at the self serve afterwards.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no elevation changes. Decently wide walkways that are likely accommodating. Seating easy to rearrange, with open ends to situate a wheel chair at. Doors are not automatic.”
“Very fun place! Food was yummy and great service! Our waiter was a taller young man and he was very attentive and friendly, but everyone there was great! It’s all you can eat, with a limit of 2 hours which I find reasonable for all you can eat, plus everything comes out super fast so barely any wait! Lots of side options as well and they’re all great (also included in all you can eat). Also note that meat you don’t eat will cost you an extra $25 but that keeps ppl from over ordering. Sides are fine tho they can be leftover. Music was popping!! Fun time for sure”

“Side Hustle: Taproom & Experimental Kitchen in Kirkland is a great place to kick back and enjoy locally sourced beers, wines and food. Friendly servers and great atmosphere. Check it out!”
“We chose Los Chilangos for our wedding catering with their taco bar buffet. It was amazing. Even our California relatives were impressed! There was one snag with them arriving at our billing address instead of the venue but they booked it to our location and no one really noticed.”
“Just had the BBQ pork belly . Everything fresh and quality of the sandwich is outstanding, served with smiles. Lovely spot for delicious Banh mi (baguette with choice of meat and toppings) for a meal. Plus they have delicious Butterfly sunset tea,Black milk tea, Thai tea and fresh smoothies … All my favorite”
“I cannot rate this place high enough. The food is always fresh, the portions are huge and the staff is INCREDIBLE! I had misplaced a receipt from months ago for business purposes and the team there was able to track down my receipt swiftly and HAPPILY.
Food 10/10, customer service 10/10, what more can you ask for???”
“Hands down the best Sushi I think I’ve ever had. It is always fresh, like just caught fresh. Everyone who works there is so nice and it just feels like such a nice little peaceful place to eat. I really need to dine in one of these days!”

“I love this place! From their hazy IPA to the great atmosphere, it’s our go to. The little container on the trail is my favorite next to the pea patch. We always enjoy playing corn hole and hanging out in the sun on a nice day with a good brew. The larger Chainline is nice too, perfect little place for catching a game or a stop when running errands. I love that they have dog treats and there are always pups around.”
“This is hands down the best boba experience I could ask for. Their Tiger Tea is a must try! I dont live in the area but my friend took me here once, so now anytime in the area, I have to get my tiger tea! Its seriously a game changer. I can't help but finish it in under 10 minutes.”
“The Lamb Schwarma plate is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, with a portion to generously have leftovers later! The soup that comes with their plates is comforting without being heavy, and I could eat it every day. Also, if you love garlic, their MK fries are a must buy - my friend & I shared a half order, and came nowhere close to finishing them!”
“I ordered a vegetarian burrito ( nailed it) , strawberry horchata ( niiiice) , Chicken sopes (say what???? Amazing and plenty of chicken). Highly recommend this place and the prices were pretty reasonable!
Vegetarian options: I asked about vegetarian options and they guided me through their options or plates they can be vegetarian.”

“Wulixiang’s zongzi is soooo yummy! You cannot find anything this good in the entire Seattle are. I like the salted egg flavor. The wonton is super delicious as well”

“Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. My husband picks me up some every time he travels to Seattle and although I miss him when he travels…I’m also kinda happy when he goes because he gets me treats from there.”
“Good beer selection. Has good IPAs, low on bitterness, rich on flavor, somewhat hoppy, are refreshing in taste and have fruity/citrusy notes. Tried Plethora, Never Say Die, 99 Juicy and Blood Orange along with Helles Lager. Ambience is somewhat rustic and really relaxing with good music in the background. The location is within city limits too. Staff is very excellent, really hospitable, very friendly, takes time to explain, allows you to try different ones and clearly values you as a customer. Must try for so many reasons.”

“The food is consistently fresh with nice sized portions. There was plenty of everything including sauce and meat. It has become one of my mainstays for lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is the best food I have tasted in this genre. It’s a fantastic, do not miss place that you will love. From soup to plates and bowls to salads, it never disappoints. You will find yourself craving more every time.”

“Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. I know everyone’s adrenaline through the roof!”
“My first time there and I'm ready to go back for more! The people were friendly, kitchen was immaculate, and everything is made from scratch. We tried the Kofta, and Shawarma wraps, falafel, Greek fries, and a dessert and liked it all. (But just a hint - don't order your fries first because it's hard to stop eating them they are so crispy and tasty!). We will definitely go back and recommend it to others!!”
“My Father's Day Surprise was a visit to Arleana's Restaurant in Kirkland, Washington. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was very good, especially the jerk syrup was was delicious. And I am very picky about jerk seasoning. The Bloody Mary had a unique flavor. It was not my traditional BM. But it was surprisingly great. It's quite a drive for me. But I will return for the selection of food, drink and ambiance. This was a great dining experience.”

“My mom and I had dinner at Sparrow while visiting WA. We LOVED our food and drinks! Mom got pork belly and scallops with polenta and she said “this is the best meal I’ve ever had”. Let me tell you, she doesn’t say that lightly. I had the Alaskan halibut which was served with asparagus and heirloom tomato compote - the fish was a good sized portion and besides being healthy, it satisfied the pallet and the stomach. The wait staff was fantastic, and the drinks were superb!”
“Food is good but took a while to come out. Our server Haley was nice and kept checking in on us to make sure we got our food and apologized for the kitchen's delay. A different server filled up our water glasses and spilled cold water onto my leg. She quickly said sorry and walked away. She should've at least brought me a towel. Nice views. I recommend sitting outside on the patio. Parking validation is only for 2 hours of free parking.”
“Rock Creek continues to impress with the quality of the food (fresh ingredients and great execution) but what really sets them apart for me is the service. Exactly the right balance of being available and invisible at the same time. We will continue to come back as long as they keep it up! Well done”
“What an awesome spot!! Ducked in and had an awesome brunch while visiting friends in Kirkland. Food was amazing, the breakfast smash burger is a must! Such a cool vibe down close to the water, great place to stop in for some top notch food and creative drinks. Kids loved it too with some classics for breakfast and live sports to watch. Servers were engaged and the owners were on point with the location and layout. Our new go to when we're in town!”
“We celebrated my daughter's birthday with dinner at this restaurant, and it was our first time trying it out. We were thoroughly impressed! Everything we ordered was top-notch, but the standout dish was the Mughlai Chicken - it's hands down the best we've had in Seattle among all the Indian restaurants we've tried. The Tandoori Sizzler was also delicious, packed with flavor and utterly yummy. Highly recommend!”
“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.”
“Our entire family (14 people) ate at the Olive Garden in Kirkland tonight and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was delicious and Matthew our server did an outstanding job! He went out of his way to make our birthday dinner celebration so wonderful! Thank you again Matthew and Olive Garden.”
