“I was looking for a good Thai place near my home, and I’m so glad I found this one—highly recommend!

First, the space is huge. Like you can see in the photos, there are lots of tables on the first floor, a separate room for group seating, and even a second floor. They also have bar seats. The interior (including the lighting) is really nice, and the staff was very friendly.

We ordered Crab Rangoon as an appetizer, and for the main dishes we got Gang Panang curry and drunken noodles. The Crab Rangoon was crispy, and the cheese inside was rich and creamy. The main dishes were great too, especially because they included a lot of different vegetables. Some places have mostly meat or noodles, but this one had plenty of veggies, so it felt more balanced and still really tasty.

You can choose the spice level. We got level 1 and level 2, respectively. Level 1 was already a little spicy, and level 2 was pretty spicy. If you don’t handle spicy food well, keep that in mind.

The only downside was that they leave water on each table ahead of time, so it wasn’t cold at all. Other than that, I loved everything. This is my new favorite Thai spot!”

“I ordered from Hollywood Baked Goods for an Employee Appreciation Event at my workplace, and they exceeded every expectation. They produced over 600 incredible cake pops—individually wrapped and tied with a cute ribbon—without any issues at all.
Even with such a large order, they were more than willing to help me execute an event for hundreds of employees. The entire process, from ordering to pickup, was seamless. Holly and her team communicated quickly whenever I had questions, and when I arrived for pickup, everything was organized and ready to go, which made my job so much easier.

“This was our first time here and I would say we were at about 80% satisfied with the experience, compared to other high-end restaurants in the area, the decoration and ambience were very underwhelming, but the staff was very professional, and it was very lively. Both salads were got were excellent and our entree was really good the lamb Ragu. Unfortunately the two starters were meh for the cauliflower was decent. The meatballs were a big flop, not sure if it was overcooked or the meat was too lean, they were really dry and took away from the nice sauce. It took about 30 minutes to order food, think someone forgot about us as the people that came same time as us we’re already eating before we could even order.”

“While I have had not good experiences here in the past, my two recent ones were very good both in service and quality

I need to go in the restaurant to order and pickup because my van doesn’t fit through the drive thru height which limits hours I can eat here which is frustrating, in the past I would time my arrival to access the restaurant, after placing an order no staff was available or present in around the counter area to hand over orders from the kiosk or app, one time I walked into the back finally to find someone and Im a pretty patient person.

Anyway, I have been happy to see an improvement here, hopefully it continues”

The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”

“I used to live in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland. Now that I live in Shoreline, I don't get over much. If I need a latte or a place to write, I don't think about driving around the lake. The other day, I got an invitation to come over and meet someone. When I turned up Central, I remembered how much fun downtown Kirkland is. So many interesting places to visit and nary a chain retail business in sight.
One of the downsides of Kirkland is parking. I considered one of the bijillion paid spots, but I managed to find a 2 hour free spot not too far away from the coffee shop. I'm told that these spots have monitoring equipment to enforce the time limit. I was there for a little over the 2 hours with no ticket, so I don't know how true that is.
Thruline was busy, but not full. We found a table where we put our things to claim it while we went to the counter to order. I was happy to pay $11 for a latte and a breve.
Many of the customers are loyal regulars. My friend was greeted by name and several folks matched pictures on the wall. I asked how much coffee you had to drink to get a picture. Apparently, that information is a secret, as I was given vague non-responses.
When our name was called, I went up to fetch our drinks. They came in real mugs. I think coffee tastes better in a mug than in a cup. I like to think it is better for the environment too.
I admired the little heart in the foam and took a sip. Pretty tasty.
I have a hard time hearing in a crowded coffee shop. The noise level was not terrible, but I did miss a bit of our conversation.
People seem to like to hang out. During the couple of hours we were there, I did not notice the people around us changing. Several folks had their laptops out, so it might be a good place to get some writing done. If I ever move back to Kirkland, I'd enjoy being a regular here.”

We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.”

“LOVE this place! I have a lot of dietary restrictions (AIP) due to an autoimmune disease and can rarely eat out while also having the food be compliant. The staff was great about making a few changes to my smoothie and checking ingredients. I was so excited to see bone broth on the menu and oh my goodness!! It was incredible! I got the Immunity Chicken broth and I had to restrain myself from ordering another before I finished my smoothie. So good! And the meal deal was a great deal for city prices and the big piece of chicken on the sandwich.”
