“I have been looking for a vegan bakery that can do carrot cake since that is my favorite. I ordered the chocolate cake and the carrot cake and bother were excellent. They are very sweet so the small size cake is enough :) The bakery itself is super cute.”

“Our team of 8 booked a reservation for our holiday celebration. They seated us in a semi-private room (just the 8 of us!) and it was perfect for our needs. We ordered about 4 appetizers for the table, as well as beverages and meals for each. The oysters and toast with chevre and figs were my favorite. The aioli for dipping french fries was so good! I personally had the mushroom pasta with veggies added - it wasn't too heavy and had the perfect amount of sauce to noodle ratio. My spouse had the burger and it was perfectly cooked - we ended up taking half of it home. We were all too full for desserts, but the menu looked great!”

It was asking about our experience and I mentioned that the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, my wife said it was the best steak and pasta she's had for a long time, and I had seafood and pasta dish. If I were to be picky I would say I'd like more of the delicious sauce, but I know if I had asked for it I would have gotten it. The previous time we were there I had a lamb special and I couldn't get enough of it, it was superb and the Cacio e Pepe my wife had was so delicious I wanted to order one to go. We'll be back soon.”

Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.”

The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”

“Solid work or study spot. The atmosphere is a little dingy, but I don't need much to be productive. There are several outlets (consider bringing a long cord, some are a little far from the table).
Also they forgot about my drink and I had to inquire about it, but I didn't mind much.”

“I used to live in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland. Now that I live in Shoreline, I don't get over much. If I need a latte or a place to write, I don't think about driving around the lake. The other day, I got an invitation to come over and meet someone. When I turned up Central, I remembered how much fun downtown Kirkland is. So many interesting places to visit and nary a chain retail business in sight.
One of the downsides of Kirkland is parking. I considered one of the bijillion paid spots, but I managed to find a 2 hour free spot not too far away from the coffee shop. I'm told that these spots have monitoring equipment to enforce the time limit. I was there for a little over the 2 hours with no ticket, so I don't know how true that is.
Thruline was busy, but not full. We found a table where we put our things to claim it while we went to the counter to order. I was happy to pay $11 for a latte and a breve.
Many of the customers are loyal regulars. My friend was greeted by name and several folks matched pictures on the wall. I asked how much coffee you had to drink to get a picture. Apparently, that information is a secret, as I was given vague non-responses.
When our name was called, I went up to fetch our drinks. They came in real mugs. I think coffee tastes better in a mug than in a cup. I like to think it is better for the environment too.
I admired the little heart in the foam and took a sip. Pretty tasty.
I have a hard time hearing in a crowded coffee shop. The noise level was not terrible, but I did miss a bit of our conversation.
People seem to like to hang out. During the couple of hours we were there, I did not notice the people around us changing. Several folks had their laptops out, so it might be a good place to get some writing done. If I ever move back to Kirkland, I'd enjoy being a regular here.”

Lovely spot for delicious Banh mi (baguette with choice of meat and toppings) for a meal. Plus they have delicious Butterfly sunset tea,Black milk tea, Thai tea and fresh smoothies … All my favorite”

“The table was across the kitchen entrance. The restaurant was dim so every time the door opened it was bright lights in my face. My wife was facing the window and the kitchen light would reflect off the window and was bothering her as well. Everything else was fantastic.”

We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.”
