“This place was incredible! I soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces. Seated at the bar immediately. Engaged in some friendly conversation with the staff. I pre studied the menu and ordered immediately. Had a beer in 1 minute and food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. The sushi A combo is a winner! Spider roll was stellar, the fish was very fresh and the technique was top teir! Honestly really enjoyed the experience and wished I lived in the area so I could visit regularly“

“Went here for Valentine's Day at 9 pm, about a 15-30 min wait, they gave my girl a rose when we sat down. There are SO many options for broth, meat, vegetables, tons of seafood and tofu options. It took us at least 15 mins to decide what we wanted. No cold desert options after 9 pm. Still gave us the free soft serve at the end though.
If it's your first time, highly recommend basic bone broth/spicy broth duo, pork and beef combo ring, cabbage, yam sticks, dumplings, udon noodles. For just broth n meat and no extras, expect to spend about $30-$40 total. All extras cost about $4.50-$12.
Highly recommend the fried rice cakes for desert.
For sauce bar, mix peanuts, peanut/sesame paste, a little chilli oil, a little oyster or hoisin sauce, green onions, cilantro, with a little soy sauce, (optionally add vinegar).
The servers don't check up on you too much after ordering unless it's to refill your broth. You can take everything leftover home, including broth for round 2 at home. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“Been here once and impressed. Ordered the special, soup and sandwich, who’d guess. M ore filling than bread; fresh tasting focaccia style bread, fresh tomato and greens, all good things! Soup was good. They have 12+ soups on hand. My clam chowder was perfect. Usual style chowder, wasn’t watery or overcooked so perfect.
If you want soup with variety of accompaniments this place fits the bill.

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

“Surprising unexpected delight by the side of a busy road with not a lot of foot traffic between Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason! I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. “This is a small restaurant with limited sit down seating. They do a robust takeout and delivery business so they are always busy. The servers are not on top of you but they are responsive if you need something. Food comes out as it's done.

The food is delicious, we got several things a noodle soup, beef tenderloin, chive and pork dumplings, and pork and the pickled cabbage noodle dish.

The noodle soup fish broth was amazing and so flavorful. You can choose you noodles and I chose the normal noodles which were very good. One of the toppings we chose was the pickled vegetables and they were so good.

The beef tenderloin is an appetizer and served on a bed of lettuce. The beef is so tender and the sauce on the lettuce was very good. We were a little unsure about the lettuce but it was amazing.

The dumplings are obviously homemade and they were very good. They were large and stuffed with filling.

The pork and pickled cabbage was very good. It is spicy, we thought it was a 4 out of 5 on the white people scale of spicy.“

I've tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Spring rolls, Cashew chicken, Yellow curry chicken (Is it Panang?), Garlic chicken, and a popular wide noodle dish w/chicken and spinach (swiimming Rama maybe but a Thai name)and the Broccoli/chicken,, and love the stir fried veggie side. They serve chicken breast in most if not if not all dishes, and the only cut I eat. Perfectly cooked every tiime! The people are nice, it's clean and updated nicely. I sat alone once and was comfortable, and went with a friend another. I normally order Spice Level 3, 2 for chicken pad Thai which btw is the best! Love that there's many add/remove options on most items. I'm very picky about food, and trying new places so it's nice to have a few nearby restaurants I trust! My daughter is coming to town soon and we'll order or go here, she's vegetarian and gluten free and is a lot pickier then me! .“

“What a wonderful spot and a perfect stop after visiting Kubota Garden. The dining room was clean and spacious, and the service prompt and friendly. The bun bo hue was delicious and a welcome change from the salt bomb broths I’ve become accustomed to from Vietnamese noodle soups in Seattle. The flavors were nuanced and not too heavy or salty. I especially enjoyed the tender pork knuckle and the (homemade?) small meatballs flecked with what tasted and appeared to be makrut lime leaves. An easy place for kids - my 5 year old slurped up his plain pho.“

Quality: This is a very nice Chinese Noodle place! We ordered a fried rice, and lamb with scallion! The food quality was better than I expected! They are not super oily and salty, I really like the fried nice, it has a nice satay touch. The lamb is very flavorful, and it does not taste overwhelming! We all loved them!

Appearance: They look great! They look appetizing and I loved the colors combination LOL

Portion size: Very generous portion, my friend cannot even finish her fried rice and I have to finish it for her! And 4 of us shared 3 main dishes and we were all full.

“I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least).
