Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the ramen and sushi options here.

I've tried other places that specialize in making ramen. Sadly none of them really impressed me and would usually opt out for pho instead. But here, they got ramen RIGHT.

Hear me out, the black sesame squid ink ramen?? FIRE. The soup got that addictive nutty taste to it - this is my favorite ramen.

For seafood bowls, raw seafood and rice ratio is fair. Nice thick cuts of fish. Reasonable to the price.“

“We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.

Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.

One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.

“I am so glad we have Rainier Teriyaki as our go-to takeout spot! I’m a vegetarian and this is the best tofu teriyaki I’ve had! It’s nicely fried and stays crispy and reheats really well in air fryer. Their sauce is delicious and my partner loves their chicken. Our order has always been correct and neatly packaged and they confirm when you pick it up! I really admire their consistency. Very friendly staff, once I called just before closing and they kindly took my order which was for a friend who had just been visiting a family member in the hospital. It was such a comfort meal for her and I was so grateful! Really great spot with qualify food!“

The owner was very polite and sweet and offered me a special Korean cookie she got from the market for free. She made me feel like I was a guest in her house. “Such a hidden gem in Seattle! This place has the perfect late-night izakaya vibe — cozy, lively, and casual without feeling too loud or overwhelming.

The food is especially good for sharing. Everything comes out hot and flavorful, and there’s a great variety of Japanese-style dishes and late-night comfort food. It’s the kind of place where you order a bunch of different things for the table, grab a drink, and somehow end up staying much longer than you planned.

“Probably the best teriyaki place within 10 miles of issaquah. Chicken is cooked correctly and so is the rice. Spicy and regular teriyaki is good. Their salad is a coleslaw style with a light asian mayonnaise type dressing and its a thicker type of dressing, it good. Price is not cheap but at least its good! Sushi is good and decently fresh. Staff is friendly and usually highschool employed kids and they do just fine. If you are craving teriyaki in issaquah close to Pinedale, this is your place...trust me.“

Only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because I specifically asked for my food to be made a certain way and they forgot to do it like I requested. I was too hungry to ask for a do over. I understand they can get very busy so make sure you specify and speak clearly and make sure the person taking your order is listening to you and acknowledging what you order otherwise, they might make a mistake. “The food at Aji Sushi was pretty good overall. We ordered a dish with rice, meat, and a few other ingredients, and it was served in what looked like a cast-iron dish straight from the stove. It was extremely hot. The staff did warn us, which I appreciate, but the dish was still so hot that I accidentally touched it for a moment and slightly burned my hand.

I think serving this dish in a regular plate or a less extremely hot dish would be safer and more comfortable for customers. Other than that, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal.

One big plus, though, is that they bring complimentary miso soup and salad at the beginning of the meal. It was a nice touch and definitely something we appreciated!“
