Steak grilled octopus fried squid clam chowder are all this 👍🏻 and the final dessert of caramelised bread pudding was amazing! “I have bought many different canned crabmeat products through out the years, but this was the second time I used this product. Not only is the taste sweater but when you sort through the meat, there is very little cartliage . Still have to sort but once is enough,“

If you want the "Ivars experience" or are eating this for the first time, go to the Renton Ivar's located on the water. Downtown Seattle is a fun experience, just a little tougher to get to.

“I chose this restaurant because my friend loves oysters. We had Sam as our waiter in the dining room and he was magnificent! He recognized that I wasn't quite sure what to order because this was more high-end restaurant than I've been to, and so he guided me based on my preferences. He suggested that I try the sea bass and I did and it was so delicious!! I have never eaten sea bass before so I had no idea how great it would taste and the way they prepared it was just beautiful. My friend was also pleased with her meal but I'm not sure the name of what she got. Regarding the food, it was excellent!!

Unfortunately, we were seated right by the kitchen so I cannot attest to the ambiance.

My biggest complaint is that we did not get served drinks for quite some time even though we were sitting at the bar for happy hour prior before going into the dining room for our reservation. The Bartender, who was making drinks right in front of us, didn't talk to us for a few minutes and then she said she asked if we had a reservation. I said yes and we continued to not be served. Finally she asked if we had ordered drinks. I said no. She said I told her yes when she asked 15 minutes ago. I said I may have misunderstood her, even though my friend stated that she didn't ask that. My issue is that even if I did misunderstand what she asked, she still waited too long to follow up. If it had been super busy I would give more grace, but it wasn't. Maybe I should have spoken up sooner, but I was confused.

Overall it was fine. I knew it was going to be expensive; I was there for the experience and I guess I was expecting more. Thank goodness for Sam!!“

“This is an old-school Chinese restaurant that is super unorganized. We made reservations but still waited 20 mins for a table. Lots of large groups, i definitely recommend calling for reservations, but they might forget!
You have to flag down the wait staff for everything.. to order food, to ask for utensils, to ask for water, etc. We ordered 4 dishes, 2 dishes came out fairly quick but we waited for so long for other 2. Finally flagged down someone and asked for it. Seems like they forgot about us.

The food was good, but could have used more flavor. The squab is prob the best thing on the menu! Definitely get that!

Definitely coming back here, and the fries are seasoned and crispy too. Total 5 stars! Update: I came back the next day too! My new favorite place for crispy cod sandwiches.“

“The atmosphere and service are great. The food itself is good but could be slightly adjusted.

We ordered a tonkatsu and gyudon.

The tonkatsu was cooked well but lacked a bit of sauce. Portion size is appropriate, and overall flavor was delicious.

The gyudon was a bit tough. The beef was a little bit thicker than standard and was a bit overcooked. The rice was a little dry, but we did come in late in the evening, so that's not a major surprise.

Overall, it's a good experience, and we'll try coming back, but a bit earlier in the day.“

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“Our family love this restaurant in BC, so glad they are finally have one here, I love their variety of seafood choice and different way of preparing them that like no others restaurants have it here. They have crab promotion the night we visited so we tried the lotus leaf/sticky rice steam crab, everyone loves it so much. We also tried their steam abalone with XO sauce it was delicious. We finished it so quickly and forgot to take picture of the abalone. Other foods here are great too. Great service since it was a week night and about 60% full. They have promotion from Monday to Thursday dinner on special item, we probably will come again to try out on different night. All their servers are great, especially Tony, he was so patient answered all our questions and attending to all our needs; it makes our dinning experience much more enjoyable!“

The food was so amazing we had to cut bits off to share with each other so we could understand how delicious it all was! Anybody who's had white meat chicken, or pork chops knows they can be on the dry side. This was well cooked, and still juicy, sliced like butter, so nice. The jerk chicken and pasta had heat, but wasn't painful, if you know what I mean. (Holiday traffic made us run 10 minutes late, 30 minutes just waiting to park.
