Fernando and the Head Chef were both off this evening and the staff and food were as great as if they had been there. They all take their part in the restaurant very much to heart and it shows. “the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. “Our meal at Cinque Terre was amazing. That was seriously some of the best pesto I've ever had. My husband's boar pasta had plenty of meat in the sauce. The pasta was fresh. And they even had some good mocktails - as a non-drinker, I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to create drinks that make me feel welcomed. We enjoyed a recent meal there and had the pleasure of meeting Rodrigo, the owner who took over two and a half years ago. His passion for Sicilian food is evident in every dish. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a versatile atmosphere. Our meal began with the flavorful melanzane a la parmigiana and a refreshing spinach soup. For our main course, we savored the tortellini cefalu, fettuccine ai funghi, and fettuccine al pesto, all cooked with high-quality ingredient were extremely delicious. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied but not overly full. To finish, we indulged in the house-made tiramisu and limoncello panna cotta. “I'd say Cora is an unexpected hidden gem on 12th Ave! Well made food, friendly staff, quick service, and comfy enough atmosphere.
We got 2 pizzas - cheese and funghi. The funghi pizza was awesome and totally well-balanced, i have no comments!
The cheese one was too cheesy (who would've thought 🤔) - which I do not mind, but it messed with the integrity of the pizza base and made it quite soggy. Also the way they serve it in their plate, the cheese and sauce kinda converges in the centre and isn't the best for maintaining the crust.

I hope they can maybe change their serving mechanism to a flatter plate/dish so this doesn't happen. This is the only reason I gave 'Food' 4 stars instead of 5.

The dark chocolate tiramisu sandwich cookie - not really tiramisu-y, but sooo yum regardless!
Definitely worth a try! I look forward to coming back and trying more of the items!“

“I've been eating at Tulios for about 30 years - every time I'm in Seattle. Apparently, the chef retired and so it's definitely different. I was looking forward to their Ravioli, but it wasn't on the menu. I am aware that the menu changes, but they always had a ravioli selection. “We went here after driving by and remembering about the spot. With the amazing view on 99. We were not disappointed. We got a nice spot on their expansive deck and got to enjoy the view and sunset. The staff was very friendly and the manager or owner made sure to check in with us too. We got lasagna and a Caesar salad and both were very very good. This easier was cold and had plenty of dressing and lasagna had a very tasty meat sauce.
We asked about their gluten-free options and it sounds like they might be pretty good. We typically go gluten-free but wanted to indulge. Next time we might go the gluten-free option.“

“We started with the burrata which was delicious. The version we had was served with roasted stone fruit, prosciutto, and a yummy pesto. We had the Caesar salad which had crispy lettuce and a nice dressing. Basic Caesar, but good. We had 2 pasta dishes. Mafaldine al limone. The pasta was clearly house made. It was perfectly cooked and nice and light and thin. The dish was not too heavy and the brightness of the lemon balanced the richness of the pecorino and egg. We also had the gemelli with bisket Genovase and it was equally good. We had no room for dessert. We weren't sure about the wine offerings so we brought a bottle. The corkage fee of $30 was in the standard/reasonable range. Our waitress was friendly and perfectly attentive. We would definitely recommend!“

“The hype is fully justified on this one! I ordered the five cheese plate. I only knew I wanted the aged gouda and let my server pick the other four. All five were outstanding, as was the spiced fig jam. The focaccia bread was incredible, but so filling I couldn’t finish my cheeses, so I boxed them up for my hotel fridge.

To the staff’s credit, I was one of the only customers right when they opened, and they were working overtime filling my water! I had been walking around town for hours and was worried about getting kidney stones from the cheese overload. I cannot say enough kind words about both the staff and the food! I came to Seattle to knock things off my bucket list, but they really made me want to go back, so I probably will. I really loved the view from the dining room. Seattle at its finest.“

“I really like the pizza here. The crust is not too thick or to thin and the toppings are good.
Reminds me of a hometown pizza place called Campanas over on the Peninsula my folks used to take us too as kids. Toppings were just enough of everything and good flavor. The house red wine is really smooth, restaurant itself is a old Burien school Italian vibe. I will be getting pizza from here again. One of of my top 3. Prices are pretty decent as well.“

“My partner and I found Darkalino's when searching for best meatballs in Seattle, and they did not disappoint! Everything here is excellent, the focaccia with the disco sauce, the pastas, and the salads, etc. The staff is awesome and it's in a great location near the stadiums so you can get some quality food before a game. We love this spot so much that we had our wedding dinner of 8 here! Jamie and her team was exceptional - extremely responsive and communicative, helped with sourcing flowers for the table, workied with us on the menu, etc. Cannot recommend Darkalino's enough!“
