“The owners are the best. Good service and great food.“
“Absolutely love this wine establishment for not only their hospitality and welcoming atmosphere, but the wine itself is just fabulous. Whether you are looking for a red, a white or something in between, Matt is amazing and has always been so kind and knowledgeable since they first opened and have recently celebrated their second year in their storefront in downtown Renton. A wonderful asset to the community and definitely recommend whether you’re a connoisseur or new to the wine world/industry this is a great place to visit.“
“I’m fairly new in the city. I’m a graduate of Northwest Wine Academy originally from Houston Texas. I went into The Wine Alley looking for a Loire Valley Chenin Blanc but Jim’s knowledge and passion led me to a phenomenal Sardinia Vermintino. Thanks Jim for making me feel welcome I will continue to do business with you! Cheers my friend!“
“I drive all the way from Federal Way to shop here. The owners are very helpful, nice people. Free wine tastings. They also have good beers on tap. Check out All Things Wine and the Stupid Wine Deals are worth the trip.“

“The wine selection here is amazing and the bites you can get are so delicious. I still dream about the olives and charcuterie. All the servers are super knowledgeable and always help me find a wine I like. It’s worth the wait for a table, and you are always made to feel welcome while you wait with a glass of wine to pass the time. It is always a treat to come here with the atmosphere and the wine/food selection!“

“I wanted to really love Marina Mercantile. Made a Mother's Day Tea reservation. Our initial arrival was not welcoming and I was asked twice if I had a reservation. My mom, my daughter, and I waited an hour for our tray of treats. We were last to be served. People that arrived after us were served before us. We are the only minorities in the shop. It felt racist sadly or their service was extremely slow. The food was ok not the freshest tasting for a special Mother's Day event. Prepaid $200 with fixed gratitude and service charge. 🫤“

“Fantastic! Went here on a whim and enjoyed everything! It's a super intimate restaurant and that wait staff were INCREDIBLE! The food was awesome as well. We arrived before 6:00 PM which meant we were able to to order off the happy hour menu. They have $10 negroni flights which were super fun to try. Overall, was a fantastic experience. Will 100% be back!“

“I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and we enjoyed a variety of drinks and food (including all of the pizzas). We sat at 8 and stayed basically until close, so it was very chill and relaxed. The food and drinks were all delicious!“

“We recently held a private event at WeRise Wines and the entire planning and event experience from top to bottom was very easy and professionally managed. Our group rented out the entire space, and all we had to do was show up! Everything was handled and our guests all had a wonderful experience at this cozy shop featuring amazing local wines. I highly recommend WeRise for small events, and also just a comfortable hang - great music and atmosphere!“

“I had the pleasure of joining Chris and his team to Canyon Vineyard Ranch. To call this trip magical would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in warmth and welcome. Every detail was beautifully thought out—it felt like a five-star escape, with the coziest beds (the best sleep I’ve had all year!), divine homemade pasta, and wine that was perfection...as it always is!
But it was the people who made it unforgettable. Everyone was so kind, so genuine, and so fun—like being welcomed into a family.
Only Browne Family Winery could do this. I'm thankful every day I became a member.
Canyon Vineyard isn’t just a place; it’s an experience, a memory that lingers long after you leave. Pure magic. ✨🍷“

“Vinnie’s Wine Shop is a hidden gem and one of my favorite spots to unwind on the weekend. It’s a small, cozy place with a laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The wine selection is fantastic — they offer a wide variety from around the world, with something for every taste and budget. Whether you're a wine newbie or a seasoned enthusiast, the staff is super knowledgeable and always ready to help you find the perfect bottle or glass.
One of the best things about Vinnie’s is their Sunday oyster special — fresh oysters for only $2 each! Pair them with a crisp white wine or a sparkling rosé, and it’s honestly one of the best ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. The oysters are always fresh and beautifully served.
That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of: they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill without telling you, and there’s an extra $3 fee if you pay with a credit card. It makes sense in a way — it probably helps them offer the oyster deal — but it would be better if they were more upfront about it.
Still, the experience is worth it for the quality and cozy vibe.“
“This place is like a french oasis in a business park! What a find. I wasn't familiar with their story or offerings, but my husband's bell had gone off and we needed food, so we popped in here for anything. What we thought would be a quick bite, turned into a lovely early afternoon getting to know the story of this wine shop from a very accomplished and lovely person. Don't let the business park setting fool you, once you walk into Princess & Bear, you are in the south of France.“

“I had such a great experience at JOEY Southcenter due to our lovely server McKenna. She was patient although I am extremely indecisive and she helped me make some great choices!“
“I’ve been coming to Old Town Bellevue for years, and this is such an amazing addition! I really love French wine, and she has an amazing selection. She has new world & old world wines that rotate so you'll never get bored. The space itself is cozy and inviting and is really beautiful.
She also has happy hour and is open EVERYDAY past 8PM, which is almost unheard of in Bellevue. Love it!!!!“

“If I could rate it higher, I absolutely would! The food was exquisite, and the service from our server, Matthew C., was truly above and beyond.
My husband is a vegetarian (I’m not), so when he treats me to a nice steak dinner, he’s usually stuck with house salad and mashed potatoes. But when Matthew noticed his hesitation while ordering and learned about his dietary restrictions, he immediately brought out the vegan/vegetarian menu and took the time to explain each option just as thoroughly as he did with me for the regular menu.
My husband’s mushroom pasta was outstanding, and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Great asparagus side dish too! Thank you, Matthew, for your professionalism, thoughtfulness, and that surprise dessert it was the cherry on top of a perfect dinner.“
“Cute atmosphere but the real star is their selection. There are not many places that focus on champagne and sparkling wines but they really know their stuff and mix it up. I love the Sodo area in general but this place has worked it's way in the favorites rotation.“

“I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste Washington wine and cozy place.
This place is bit distant from the center of Capitol Hill that it was quiet, which I enjoyed very much.
Me and my company tried flights; tasted 4 different wines. The manager explained every bottle of wine nice and in detail. Overall, it was a great experience.“

“I was in town for a special event, I haven't been here before and was amazed with every aspect of my experience. our server Charles was utterly fabulous. he was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and prompt. he made it feel like we were old friends. the steaks were perfectly cooked. I am 4 and 1/2 years sober, and to go out and enjoy an exquisite meal and only drink water can be a drag, but you all had an amazing selection of mocktails, my partners and I enjoyed immensely. I took the time to thank Charles for everything and got to meet Justin, letting him know how wonderful everything was. this will definitely be a regular stop anytime I visit.“

“If you are in the mood for elegant, vintage drinks with a whimsical (truly whimsical) twist - look no further - thus is your stop, for a sip - or two, or... We had the Chai Old Fashioned and the Last Word... If the devil is in the details - so are the companions of Bacchus - the REAL maraschino cherry in the Last Word and the massive ice cube in the Old Fashioned confirm how serious thus place is about its drinks reputation. Also, the Cherry and Apricot Salad gave us that so very needed connection with the local farmers' produce, it being a delightfully crispy concoction of bitter radicchio and peppery greens, smoothed by a pungent goat cheese and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette. The bread and the sharp olive oil were especially appreciated with the salad. We love gelato, but ordered the blackberry sorbet and did not regret it since it came with a solid chunk of anise biscotti - an excellent pairing for the double espresso. Our waiter, Troy, made us feel well attended, but not even once did he overdo it.“

“The wine was good, but unfortunately the happy hour value was very disappointing. For $16, we didn’t even get three small pieces of cheese , definitely not worth it. I’d rather pay full price and have something enjoyable to pair with my glass of wine.“
“One of the most unique wine bars in Seattle. If you want something different this is the place to go. Phenomenal selection of Italian wines that you could probably only find here.Incredibly knowledgeable staff was incredibly friendly and stepped through every wine they served.Definitely take your wine loving friends here.“

“This was a nice place. Probably wouldn't pick it myself, but met some friends here. The food menu was weirdly put together but I got the chowder in a bread bowl, my wife got a burger and fries. Burger and fries was ok nothing special really. My chowder was cold, and our friends chowder was as well, they sent them both back. The drinks were good. If I go back it would probably be just for drinks.“
