“Have visited this location several times over the past 8 years and in each case the experience has been outstanding! The food and drink are delicious. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are what you’d expect for a steakhouse. Parking can be somewhat challenging as you’re reliant on finding either street parking or a parking garage that’s available but each time I’ve gone has not been problematic for me.“

“Tried this very special “takeout only omakase sushi box”, Edomae style ( use cured/aged fish, and red vinegar seasoning in rice). The executive chef, chef Ryo, has worked in many renowned restaurant including Michelin star sushi restaurant “Sushi Sho”. Before joining this new restaurant “Ltd Edition Sushi” in capitol hill, he worked side by side with chef Nakazawa-an icon of edomae style in Japan, at both Sushi Sho Tokyo and Sushi Sho Honolulu. The sushi omakase box and kids fish bowl are both very sophisticated, the curing and aging techniques brings out the deep complex flavor of each fish and gives each fish this extra tender texture, the taste profile as such is hard to find here in Seattle. Chef sake flight ( we tried Haneya Junmai Ginjo and Hidakami Junmai today), one is floral and one on the dry side, pair with his sushi very well. Sushi is in a very elegant wooden box and everything you will need for the experience including a separate soy sauce dipping dish is prepared for the guest. This is, truly, a perfect omakase takeout experience. 💕💕😋“

“I was in town for a special event, I haven't been here before and was amazed with every aspect of my experience. our server Charles was utterly fabulous. he was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and prompt. he made it feel like we were old friends. the steaks were perfectly cooked. I am 4 and 1/2 years sober, and to go out and enjoy an exquisite meal and only drink water can be a drag, but you all had an amazing selection of mocktails, my partners and I enjoyed immensely. They have an incredible variety of wines to choose from but what truly makes this place special is the owner, Valentina. She is incredibly sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

“I've been putting off trying out Off Alley for a while. I could never get a reservation, it was far from my home, etc etc. However, their website said they encouraged walk ins so I spontaneously went one day. I kinda regret postponing it all this time. The menu changes at least once a week (check their insta). It's all written on a chalkboard and it reminded me of the daily specials at the French bistros in Paris. The chef is very down to earth and very passionate about sourcing the food locally. We learned about the cucumber varietals he used from the farmer's market that week and the farms that he sourced the beef tongue and squab from. The sauces are clearly slowly reduced, very concentrated and flavorful. If you want a farm to table, nose to tail seasonal restaurant without the posh uptight environment, this is it! The other benefit is that gratuity is incorporated into menu prices (thank you chef for doing this). I'll admit dish sizes for the respective prices can be a shock at first but it includes gratuity and you're supporting local farmers. It's meant to be tapas style so share multiple dishes. No regrets, we'll be back.“

“Decided to try out Elsom this weekend as a pre-flight tasting before we headed down to the wine walk in Edmonds. Was pleasantly surprised! I think I’m most enjoyed the mall back vintage 2020 I believe. The girl that helped us was very friendly and observant to our semi large group and make sure everybody’s glasses stay full, even though we all kind of walked in at different times. Super excited to hear that they’re expanding or moving into Woodinville as that is our normal stopping grounds, but I do look forward to trying out their varietals again in the near future. I had the Lamb Ragu (no cheese and it didn't suffer for the lack of it) and it was so good I'm afraid I'm going to be chasing to find a red sauce that good again. “Surrell was an unforgettable dining experience. We enjoyed the 11-course tasting menu, and every course was beautifully presented, incredibly creative, and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and artistry in each dish made the entire meal feel special.

I was the only vegetarian in our group, and I was so impressed with how thoughtfully they accommodated me. My vegetarian courses never felt like substitutions. They were creative, flavorful, and just as exciting as everyone else’s dishes.

“This place has authentic Italian and pizza. We had tortellini with pesto sauce and seafood risotto and both were amazing. Dessert was orange dreamsicle cheesecake and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Pizza was better than any other pizza we've had. It was a little loud with all the people chatting and kind of hard to hear but the place is beautiful with a view of the bay. Can't wait to go back.“
