“A cozy romantic Italian restaurant. We were impressed from the start. Walking in the softly lit dining room and seeing the open kitchen got our appetites running. From appetizers to dessert we were pleasantly impressed. Special note to the house made pasta. Really well done!“

“Absolutely have your event here!!! Bottlehouse was the perfect place for our wedding reception and they truly helped us craft an unforgettable night. The staff was so kind and welcoming to our guests and made my husband and I feel very cared for throughout the night.

The food was tasty and plentiful with the staff always restocking when low. The drinks were phenomenal, it was so fun to craft our own menu and our guests loved how beautiful and unique all the drinks were.

The event staff that helped plan everything in the months before were great at answering all my questions and made me feel like they’d have everything handled. Understand they are a full time restaurant when they don’t have events so you also need to trust the process and have patience with responses. I also feel I need to mention that their prices when it comes to venue rental and food/drink minimum were very fair and honestly a deal when it comes to other restaurants or wedding venues.

So happy Bottlehouse was a part of our day and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.“

This place is bit distant from the center of Capitol Hill that it was quiet, which I enjoyed very much.

Me and my company tried flights; tasted 4 different wines. The manager explained every bottle of wine nice and in detail. Overall, it was a great experience.“

I wasn't familiar with their story or offerings, but my husband's bell had gone off and we needed food, so we popped in here for anything. Selection of wine for a wine bar was a little disappointing. The quality of food was excellent. The bar tender didn't really seem to care. If the devil is in the details - so are the companions of Bacchus - the REAL maraschino cherry in the Last Word and the massive ice cube in the Old Fashioned confirm how serious thus place is about its drinks reputation. Also, the Cherry and Apricot Salad gave us that so very needed connection with the local farmers' produce, it being a delightfully crispy concoction of bitter radicchio and peppery greens, smoothed by a pungent goat cheese and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette.The bread and the sharp olive oil were especially appreciated with the salad. We love gelato, but ordered the blackberry sorbet and did not regret it since it came with a solid chunk of anise biscotti - an excellent pairing for the double espresso. Our waiter, Troy, made us feel well attended, but not even once did he overdo it.“
