“Not busy, service didn’t take long. Food was good but not outstanding. Had the fettuccine which was a good sized and filling portion, though the sauce had split. For the price I’d say this was a better option compared to the other stuff around the airport.“

“I don't know what kind of magic they got goin on in that kitchen, but their kalua pork is the best I've had. Even being to the islands multiple times and my husband being from there (who also agrees). I cannot recommend it enough! Super busy and we had to wait quite a while for a table but the food came fast once ordered and it was worth the wait. Also, the wait staff was very nice, especially the younger one.“

“I’ve come here multiple times, and it’s probably my favorite Korean spot in Federal Way—maybe even in all of Washington. The sullang tang is always on point. It has a generous portion of beef, and the soup is clean, rich, and really comforting.

The side dishes are great and pair perfectly with the soup, and the rice is always well cooked. I also really like the steamed dumplings—they taste homemade, are well seasoned, and are excellent.

“stumbled upon this place and it’s honestly a hidden gem. the broth is super clean but still has that deep beefy flavor without being too salty. i really like that there is no msg and they have gluten free options too, so it feels a lot healthier than other spots.
the beef was tender and they didn't skimp on the portions at all. noodles had a good chew and the herb plate they brought out was fresh and actually green, not wilted.
the owner is a gorgeous woman and the service is really good too. she makes you feel welcome and everything comes out fast. prices are totally fair for the bowl size. definitely a solid go-to spot if you're craving some comfort food“

“We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon, and it wasn’t very busy. The service was excellent, even though we kept changing our minds while ordering. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered fish cakes as an appetizer, Pad Thai and crispy garlic fried chicken as our main dishes, and Thai tea for drinks. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and thoughtfully packed up our leftover drinks to take home. We would definitely come back if we have the chance. 🥰“

As far as service goes, hospitality was there and I found them to be professional, courteous and friendly. The turn around was quick from walking in to completion of my order. The flavor of the foods are unique and i typically get similar dishes at comparable establishments to establish a base line of good, not good. This place is not only good, its flavor is unique to this establishment. Overall I was pleased with everything and look forward to a return visit to try the pad thai!“

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! “Comfortable seating and beautiful decor. The shawarma was the best of many I have had all over the world. Soups were delicious and accompanied by bread. Portions are generous. It is a trick to find up the stairs. Trust Google Maps that you are in the right place, and look up!“

The bun bo hue was delicious and a welcome change from the salt bomb broths I’ve become accustomed to from Vietnamese noodle soups in Seattle. The flavors were nuanced and not too heavy or salty. I especially enjoyed the tender pork knuckle and the (homemade?) small meatballs flecked with what tasted and appeared to be makrut lime leaves. “Okay, hear me out. I’m very generous on my stars. For teriyaki, I will vote Buxx as the best teriyaki in Seattle, greater Seattle. Many reasons it deserves the 5. It’s like they already know what you’re going to order, because the food comes out so fast no matter how long the wait is. They run a tight crew, I assume. Because it’s been the same people running the place for the 20 years I’ve come here. The prices are great, there are many specials you can choose from if you’re craving for salty & sweet, they have a katsu/teriyaki special. For me, I always get the chicken super combo, for $21, you get the chicken teriyaki, salad & rice, potstickers and an egg roll. The people who run the business are the sweetest people , I think the husband and wife switch off on shifts because they’re always open.“

“I come here with my partner at least 1 time a week! The food is so affordable and delicious ($45 max for both of us to eat our fill plus a sake). The service is minimal, as they'll sit you and maybe bring you a drink. I always have to flag someone down to pay, get more chopsticks, ask for drinks, etc, but it doesn't bother me enough to care too much. It's conveyor belt sushi, so I expect to take care of myself compared to other restaurants.

The nori fries are so delicious, and I'm always getting the pork gyoza and salmon sashimi. They have great karagge but you do have to ask for the spicy sauce for it. They also have sweet and sour sauce you can ask for, for the spring rolls. I take everyone I know here and they're always happy! It's easy to get seated around 7 pm, I've found, too.“

“My wife pretty much dislikes teriyaki chicken. However, in a moment of weakness, she said yes to it this time. Since we moved recently, I looked around for a well rated Teriyaki restaurant near us, and Teriyaki house came up. Well, she loved it (and so did I!) but did not care for the sauce. So next time I went in, I asked for the chicken without the sauce, just on the side. Since then, this has been the only place we go for take out. The quality of the food is the best out of all the other Teriyaki places we tried and the couple who own the place are wonderful. I would love to spend a few days in the kitchen watching how this wonderful chef makes these dishes. I've tried several of the other offerings and they are just as excellent as the teriyaki. I look forward to trying more of their fabulous offerings. Highly recommended.“

Dominic was a great, friendly, and amiable server who made fun conversation and seemed super chill. The bartender made my favorite mocktail ever and shook the guava-Fevertree grapefruit for as long as any real cocktail, and with a sprig of mint to boot.

The food was substandard and small. My $18 entree salad with $7 additional chicken was the size of a side. The blackened, grilled chicken was nice and moist, but I wish I had over 4 oz of it. The arugula was crisp as usual but the endive seemed to be near its end and was getting flaccid and brown. I was trying to be healthy but shoulda gone with the yummy looking Space Dust Chicken Sandwich…next time!“

“I’ve always had good service at Panera. Thursday night went in to place an order to pick up on Friday morning. Was told needed to do it on-line, okay. Placed an ordered for a couple of sandwiches was asked if I had a Panera card. Explained that my wallet was stolen with my card in it. She gave me a new card to activate online. The only problem I only have on email address could not activate the card because the email was taken. Of course it was. Placed my ordered to pick up Friday morning. Received a text message that my ordered was ready. Well arrived at Panera and NO order. Mary the person working the counter said did you look in the rapid order place, I did. Went to get the person in charge they found my order and started working on it. Why did I get a text message it was ready. I started to explain to Mary about my Panera card situation she said “I don’t get involved in any of the card situation “. Pretty much blew me off. Not a good start to my day.“
