“We came here after the Lake City Summer Festival parade yesterday — it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I’ve been here before and loved the grilled live tilapia. This time we tried the Boiling Fish, beef brisket, and green peppercorn chicken — everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The owner’s family was also helping out with serving, cashiering, and cleaning, which gave the place a really warm, homey feeling. A great experience as always!“

“This delicious ramen trailer is tucked in the back of Figurehead Brewing and has a diverse menu of traditional ramen from different regions of Japan. I recommend the Hiroshima Tan-tan-men and Nagoya Taiwan ramen if you enjoy spice like I do. There is plenty of seating in Figurehead and there’s a lovely outdoor seating area as well. The service is friendly and quick, and there’s lots of condiments and topping available for self serve. Come check it out!“

“Hands down, the best pho you’ll find in Seattle! This place is killing it! I’m incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood and I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“Ray’s Rice and Noodle Bar is such a great find! The restaurant has a cute, clean ambiance, and sitting outside along Greenwood makes for a perfect casual dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful — the Pad Thai was absolutely delicious, and the fried eggplant was so fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted vibrant and well-prepared. “Side quest for Hawaiian food is always comforting, and Kauai Family Restaurant is the spot for it. They’ve got all your Hawaiian favorites on the menu. I ordered a couple of the combos and some katsu—everything was solid. Some items were a bit on the salty side for my taste, but still enjoyable. It wasn’t too busy when I went, so the food came out pretty quick. The vibes inside really made you feel like you were in Hawaii. Definitely check their hours before you go, since they’re mostly open just for lunch and early afternoon.“

“This feels like a hidden gem? The food and service were good. We had complimentary hot tea, hard to enjoy on a warm day but welcomed. I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences. The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request. I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It's also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.“

“What a find? We had diner at Tyger Tyger Saturday night. Started off with the hand rolled pork wontons. Was a great way to start our meal. We tried the Tyger Tyger Fried Rice, Rockfish with Sour Mustard Greens, Chili Cumin Beef and rounded out our meal with the Wok Blistered Asparagus and the Greens with Walnut and Bacon. WOW what a taste sensation. Favorite…. The Rockfish and Blistered Asparagus. Was very easy to order, the food was ready when we came to pick it up with utensils included. “This is my absolute go-to spot for Thai food. The Lynwood has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff members are always friendly, even when it gets busy. No matter what, I always order Stir fried squid with salted egg yolk—it’s a must-have for me. But what keeps things exciting is that they’re always introducing new dishes that bring me right back to home in Thailand. The flavors are authentic, comforting, and full of depth. Their cocktails are also incredible—perfectly balanced and a great complement to the meal. If you’re looking for an authentic Thai experience, this place never disappoints.“

“This is the best Cantonese BBQ in Seattle. If you ever find yourself heading to Uwajimaya or the rest of the ID on Mon-Sat and you want roast pork, do yourself a favor and head here instead. For a cheaper price you can get fresh roast pork that is to die for. Well marinated, crunchy, and juicy. The dry beef chow fun is also a staple and is always cooked hot to order. I've ordered from here many many times and never been disappointed.

P.S.: If you want roast chicken you might want to call in ahead. It's very popular.“

“Just went there for the Gyudon and it exceeded my expectations. It was very delicious and on the spot. Down side is nothing to do with the restaurant but parking. It is hard to find a good parking spot. However will be coming back but probably picking up the food rather than dinning in.“

There is no service for dine in here. You order at a tablet or by scanning a QR code at your phone, you have to pick up your order when its number is called, and you have to bus your own table.

Given the lack of service, owners should please remove the tip option from the Chowbus POS system. Fortunately the lowest suggested tip option is not outrageous at 10%.“
