“Nice restaurant, clean and friendly. We are visiting Seattle and saw Olive Garden and being one of our favorites we pulled in for lunch. The food was OK but not as good as we have had. We got soup and salad. The soups we got were over cooked and just to us not up to the Olive Garden standards. Not saying our food was not good just not AS good as the Olive Gardens we have had across the country. Still, we love this chain and will always look for one in our travels.“
“THIS PLACE IS PHENOMINAL!!!!!! The Chicken Parmagiana? with a substitute sauce of Garlic Alfredo is soooooooo good!i got this tip from a server and was amazed! Great staff and friendly service (except there was just some weird guy w i think red hair just staring at everyone..but maybe he worked there so its whatever)toodaalooo“
“The food and service were outstanding. The restaurant is very small and extremely loud and crowded. We wanted to do the option on the menu to try everything, but the chief said he didn't feel like we had enough time for try everything because we were a little late and they recommended at least 2 hours. Traffic issues caused to be late, but our server was very informative and we got to try the most popular options.“
“Impressed on so many levels!!! We were lucky to have found a reservation during the time we were in Seattle, and we plan to do so each time we visit because our experience was AMAZING!!! If I could score more than 5 stars, I certainly would!FOOD: We ordered the Lasagna which was made with spinach, so I was a little skeptical about but pleasantly impressed! We also ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca. Both dishes were so good, I can still taste it! We were amazed by the green beans! When the veggies are almost the star of the show, your taste buds are in for a treat :)SERVICE: The Pink Door is VERY organized and has a great team working there. They actually assign a chef to prepare each dish for faster service. We were literally in and out within 45 minutes! It was incredible, especially for such a delicious and busy restaurant. Our waiter was so friendly and professional. We never felt rushed.AMBIANCE: The restaurant is much larger than seen from the outside. It sprawls out into different large rooms, including one with beautiful views of the bay, the main entertainment room, and an outdoor area - all of which you can dine in. Even if you're not in the entertainment room, you can easily hear it from the other spaces.ENTERTAINMENT: We were there on a Friday night, which was live music night. We didn't know that each night they feature different sources of entertainment. Next time we're in Seattle, we'll definitely make reservations for trapeze night which takes place on Tuesdays.“
“Love this place. Came to Seattle to visit and stumbled across this gem. Bar tender is so friendly kind and full of genuine interaction. The food was is incredibly delicious and made with love. And the happy hour wine and beer tastes like it’s off the fancy “
“If I could give them triple the stars I would. Incredible service and even more incredible food. The ambiance was perfect for my husband's and I's combined birthday dinner and they even provided us with a hand written note and candle in our dessert to celebrate. Bruschetta - amazing. Not a huge fan of tomato's. I don't know what they did to it but it was magical. House Cab Wine - a great dry wine to pair with my meal. Brazillian Cocktail - very refreshing! Cannelloni Vitelli - 3 sauces. Each one blended perfectly. Pollo Marsala - probably the best I've ever had and that's my usual go to dish. I could have licked the plate clean. Espresso Martini - very smooth espresso cocktail! Coco sorbet - amazingly displayed and perfect to end the night. Thank you to La Fontana Siciliana for a wonderful experience!“
“We love this restaurant. The food and service are always impeccable. We e eaten here twice several months apart. Each time, we were greeted warmly, shown to our table and waited on in an appropriate and timely manner. The cocktails are inspired and the food does not disappoint. Highly recommend.“
“The service is fabulous and the pizza is the best I've had in Washington. Highly recommend the Santa Lucia and Mario. The crew is wonderful and managed to squeeze us in on Valentine's day, which is quite a feat. They were all so lovely and cheery despite how hectic that holiday is for folks in the food and beverage industry. Will absolutely be returning.“
“The wait staff were friendly but not invasive. What a wonderful.introduction to a fabulous dinner. Great tasting and plentiful food, charming decor and friendly, wanting to please staff. Their home made bread is delicious! The noise level is pretty 'jubilant' so you may not be able to have a quiet conversation.“
“The entire staff was attentive and professional. We enjoyed the food but it was not up to the expectation we thought it should be. However, we would return and give it another try. My husband had the Caprese Salad but the mozzarella was a bit tough.“
“A great place for nice dinners for special occation. Weekdays maybe a lot of business people having large group dinners, and the noise level maybe too high for intimate dinners such as for birthday or anniversary. But the food is just fantastic!“
“Everything that we ordered was excellent. The Bison raviolli would only get a 7.5 as they where a little dry and didn't have a fresh side. On the other hand the ginochi and steak were the best I have ever had. Steak tartar as appetizer was superb.“
“My wife and I decided to try a new place for pizza and pasta and man, this place hitAll the marks! I had the baked chicken Alfredo, we also ordered some cheese bread and the Eva pizza accompanied by a standard pepperoni pizza for the kiddos. Everything was outstanding! The pizza was just so damn good! The pasta was rich and creamy! Service was family oriented and made me personally feel like I was in a local neighborhood gem! Cannot wait to go explore the menu upon future visits. Thank you Lisa and Tom for the wonderful experience along with our server! 5 starts across the board!Kid-friendliness: So sweet and welcoming all around!“
“We had a lovely dinner at That's Amore . We shared a pear salad and the pizza with figs . Both excellent. We also shared scallopine which was also really good but we didn't really have room for all of it. The staff were all friendly, helpful and worked like a family. Definitely a date night success . Will be coming back.“
“Because I was visiting the market, I randomly chose an Italian restaurant for dinner. I ordered two portions of pasta. It was delicious. The shrimp had a strong flavor of shrimp oil and was very fresh. The tomato meat sauce noodles were well seasoned. The sour tomatoes were paired with pasta. Mason cheese powder is very delicious. You must try it if you have the chance “
“Enjoyed our time here. Pizza tasted great, service was good, beer was cold, and the place had a good ambiance. Wait times are a bit longer than normal (always a good sign); suggest reserving your table in advance.Parking is on the street. Finding a spot may require some diligent patrol of surrounding neighborhoods.“
“The Starbucks coffee flagship store in Seattle was crowded with people many years ago, but this time there were 10% empty seats.I specifically asked the oriental-faced waiter about ordering...It feels like he deliberately said "Continuous ~ Big Chuan ~" in fluent English, indicating that he needs to scan to order.I know how to scan, why should I ask you for advice?Service points will be deducted.“
“Incredible find, the food here was as good as any Italian I have had in Seattle, Chicago, NYC or DC. This is read deal Italian and while you can get the usual lasagna and pizza, do yourself a favor and sample the menu and their specials. Everything is outstanding. If this restaurant were in Seattle or Bellevue, you would not be able to get a table, it’s that good.“
“Looking for happy hour to chase our sorrow from a Kraken loss. This place was great. Go early for happy hour. Gets busy fast.Order the Pinocchio without olives. For 12 bucks, it's not bad. My complaint is crust not great and toppings slide off. Unfortunately it also failed next day test which is reheating and eat.The best thing for me was the beet salad. So excellent.Happy hour dinner for two plus chocolate cake for dessert was pricey but sometimes you gotta splurge when your team loses in overtime.“
“Best service, staff, food and fun! Great celebratory atmosphere. The menu has something for everything.** fast forward**3/15/2024 Just went here again,I tried the Vincigrassi (I had to look it up again) Its the white Lasagna and it became my favorite of all time!!!“
“Wonderful! Second time in a week. Service was outstanding both times: prompt, friendly & gracious without interfering with our conversation too often. Their lamb shank (with a delicate polenta) roasted 4 hours, seasoned perfectly and is out of this world. I also sampled some of my son's pizza and a friend's homemade pasta. The second night a different friend enjoyed the lamb shank while I chose homemade spaghetti w/ a simple lemon & garlic oil sauce and garden vegetables. My son's espresso martini and our glasses of wine were excellent, as was the tiramisu. I had a caffe coretto with kahlua, a perfect accompaniment. Lively place that gets louder as the evening goes on, but we had a quiet dinner at 5:15 which is what we were seeking..“
“Great pasta and pizza. Really great and a terrific n/a gimlet. Not one dish missed. Was a quiet evening so service was very special. Really glad to have a new exceptional Italian restaurant in Seattle. I recommend make it a date night and take a ride share to and from.“
“We were staying overnight at the adjoining Kimpton Hotel and didn't want to get the car out and brave the weather and iffy parking in downtown Seattle. So we made a reservation at Tulio. What a great decision! We arrived a bit early and had a drink at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were excellent. Then we moved on to dinner and were seated at a cozy booth against the wall, which helped muffle the noise from a busy restaurant. We shared the entree mussels tagliatelle as an appetizer. SO GOOD! Pasta was clearly homemade and the mussels succulent in a light broth. Hubby had the Italian sausage orecchiette, which was fantastic. But the star of the evening was my lamb shank, cooked to perfection, seasoned even better, and with enough left over for the next evening. The service was amazingly good. Post pandemic, restaurants seem to be struggling with finding and training staff. That doesn't appear to be the case at Trulio. Our server was right there when we wanted her, didn't hover, and didn't ignore us at any time. This place is a gem. We highly recommend!“
“Braulio and His team are great! the food is delicious you guys have the best pizza in town! Is my favorite pizza place to go to... I've been here several times. Everything was nice and neat, my lovely daughter and l really enjoyed the pasta and beer ?. The garlic bread was perfectly toasted. tks guys for your effort.Unfortunately I can't say the same for the service last Sunday ! the guy on charge refused to give me service. He said that the kitchen was already closed! Eventhouhg I showed up at 45 minutes before closing time, they still had people eating in the restaurant ,then I don't understand why he didn't ? Anyway I know when not to come in.“
“We were a group of seven adults coming to Seattle specifically to experience dinner at Luigi's for the first time. We were intrigued to try the Chefs Dinner and it did not disappoint. We paid a set price and had no idea what would be coming, which was a fun adventure. We were served garlic bread, brussel sprouts in a bacon cream sauce, cured meats, roasted peppers with burrata, mixed greens with apples and feta, sausage tortellini with a vodka cream sauce, flank steak over a bed of mushrooms and creamy polenta and cannoli for dessert. It was a ton of food and everything was excellent. Lots of great flavors and colors in the dishes. The space was very open and casual in a neat old building. I expected more of an upscale Italian vibe. There were areas of untidiness back toward the kitchen and bathroom. There was modern rock music playing and a large TV with the football game on. The servers were attentive and unassuming, a little cool at first but warmed to us after a bit. We had a really good time and left fat and happy.“
“Our first time here. We sat inside. Atmosphere is cozy, small, vibrant. Service overall good. Wine served in small cup, not my preference. I prefer a regular wine glass. Chicory Caesar salad was heavy and salty. Not what we expected. Pastas were tasty, homemade pasta, but portions very small which would be appropriate for people moving on to Secondi, but not as the only meal.Dietary restrictions: If you take insulin, do not take it until you see the portion of pasta. Pasta portions are very small.“
“The food bussin'The people hilariousThe atmosphere corporate. This place makes a mighty fine meal worth the pretty penny. Filling with flavor. I like when I order here.Vegetarian options: Vegi Pizza and the pastas have vegetarian optionsWheelchair accessibility: Right next to the Starbucks and is level with the pedestrian walkway.“
“Great local coffee shop with a small bit excellent food menu. Had a great dinner of salads, lasagna and eggplant. BIG DEMERIT: completely full at 5:45p in Saturday, and the music was WAY TOO LOUD. Should have been turned down at least 15 decibels. Nearly impossible to have a conversation.“
“I love the warm and cozy vibes here. The restaurant is nicely decorated with the warm tones to make you feel home. An open kitchen and an open bar are amazing when you can see what the chefs and bartenders are making. I will have detailed comments about our food:• Snap Peas w dungeness crab, endive, chive (4/5 ⭐️): Overall, this is a good dish to start of your Italian meal. It was a great combination of creamy sauce with fresh dungeness crabmeat and raw peas. My friends who can’t eat raw veggies didn’t enjoy the meal but I personally love both raw and cooked veggies. The only thing I didn’t like about this dish is that it was a bit salty when I ate until the end.• Duck Breast w winter squash, cherries, kale (5/5 ⭐️): Star of the night ✨ The meat was super juicy. I really love how they seasoned and cooked the duck breast properly to have the best combination of flavors and juicy meat.• Campanelle w dungeness crab, leek, butter (5/5 ⭐️): The best for who loves creamy pasta. But I wish we can have more dungeness crab!• Rigatoni w bolognese, tomato, mascarpone, mint (4/5 ⭐️): Even though it has tomato, the pasta was still creamy and flavorful. Just a minus point for salty. The more I ate, the more salty I tasted.Vendemmia can be a great option for your romantic date night. Just great Italian food with a glass of wine ?“
“Check their menu out online beforehand. Then you use the tablet to put your order in, and wait until they call your name. The food was delicious next time I'm in Seattle I'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: The grilled cheese was delicious!“
“5 star service from a family restaurant. I always have a pleasant experience when I order from here. The Chicken Parmesan is AMAZING....the portions are also substantial. I'm moving neighborhood next week, if I had one choice of a restaurant in the area....i wish I could bring Pizzuto's.“
“If you are a sucker for great and difficult and fancy ambiences like me, this is THE place in Seattle! I do enjoy simple places, but at times like to experience different food in special ambiences. This place blew my mind, also probably because we went on Valentines and the place was just PERFECTLY decorated like a dream. I was looking forward to try out their very interesting cocktails on the menu since the time I saw them and they did not disappoint us. The food was also quite distinctive in flavors in a very good sense. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is willing to spend a bit and have a great time!Vegetarian options: They have decent vegetarian selection“
“The food was great and the service was impeccable. Jackson checked on us frequently to ensure we were able to proceed at the right pace.Definitely allow yourself enough time to do their food justice. Their pasta menu is fairly limited each night, to a few (four?) dishes. The two we had were very good, but if you've someone in the group who wants a specific Italian taste, they may be disappointed.“
“I can't remember how I heard about Darkalino's but I knew they served pasta and it was in Pioneer Square. I wandered around today until I found it (sure, I could've made life easier by googling it but I didn't remember the name). After some waffling, I decided on the Aglio E Olio - garlic, Calabrian chili (gives a nice little kick), pecorino finely shaved, breadcrumbs which give a crunchy texture I wasn't quite sure I loved, but might?, olive oil, spaghetti. It was good, I enjoyed it and would recommend. Portion size seemed decent and filled me up but I did eat a PB sandwich an hour later so I probably could've eaten more :) The other dish I will try next is the ragu - feel like you can't go wrong there. I saw other patrons eating the Caesar salad and an eggplant parm sandwich and both looked liked they packed a lot of flavor. On the list of things to try. Servers were great. I came in a little after 12p and sat at the bar to eat since I was alone and only the 4-tops were open. It's a cool space. There's an upstairs seating section and also where the bathrooms are located though I didn't need to use them. I like the exposed brick walls with the contrasting white ceiling. Because it's cavernous with no sound dampening it is very loud. Anyway, great addition to PS!“
“Persephone is part of La Medusa. As such you can have drinks here and appetizers. They will then put that on your tab for La Medusa if you're waiting for a table to open there. The bartender, Mark is amazing. Tell him what kind of drink you like and he will custom craft something for you. They have an amazing collection of Amaro's, and bitters to make your drinks. There are also some high-end grocery items you can buy there.“
“The waitstaff at Bambinos really goes above and beyond - friendly, efficient, professional, clear, and more flexible than I deserve. My party was so large that a number of places were wholly unable to accommodate us. These guys, however, made it work, and I’m glad they did - the food also did not disappoint! Using Pagliacci as a benchmark, Bambinos uses ingredients that I feel are higher quality, and the price is markedly lower for the quantity. Their calzones are also extra crispy on the outside and generously stuffed on the inside. Dough thickness was just right!Needless to say, I will be going back.“
“Had dinner there with friends last Saturday. The food was amazing and the staff was outstanding. In particular Christina and Garrett went over and above to make sure my party had a wonderful dining experience. I will absolutely visit this restaurant again in the near “
“Food was delicious. We got the risotto with shrimp & scallops and the scallops with arugula. For dessert we had the affogato, and was pretty good as well, not too sweet the ice cream. Very tasty and quality. We sat and the bar and the guy there was friendly.“
“Honestly the best dining experience I’ve ever had! I’m not usually one for fancy restaurants but my girlfriend and I were in town and staying at the Hotel Sorrento so I thought it would be fun to try. I ordered a specialty cocktail, I can’t remember what it was called but it was so pretty and delicious I savored it one tiny sip at a time through my whole meal.I have a weird food sensitivity that is difficult to explain and the waiter recognized it right away as an issue with nightshades and checked with the kitchen to make sure the dish I chose wouldn’t have any. I ordered the chicken with green beans and squash, the name of the dish is French on the menu and I don’t speak French so please excuse my not remembering the exact description (I had to look it up on my phone). The chicken looked like it had some sort of glaze and was so juicy and delicious and flavorful. The squash was expertly prepared and melted in my mouth, sweet and salty and savory but not overwhelming. I savored this one little bite at a time as well and had fun making little bites to share with my girlfriend who was also enjoying her meal. The green beans were also delicious, I love green beans and order them often and these were exceptional.I will say the restaurant was quite loud for me but I have a lot of sensory issues and would bring earplugs or something similar in the future but I don’t think it would be too much for the average person to enjoy. Part way through the meal the music on the speakers turned off and a musician began performing live on the piano. They really do an excellent job preserving the romantic atmosphere that I imagine was present in the 1920s closer to the era the Hotel was built. The furniture and paintings on the walls complimented the round shape of the room and detailed wood paneling lining the walls, with big armchairs near the large fireplace. Some times on the rare occasions I eat some where on the more expensive side (expensive to me anyway) it is good but doesn’t quite justify the price. I did not feel that way at all for this meal. If you can save up for a once in a lifetime dining experience or if you like spending a lot on restaurants regularly, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Absolutely worth it!Dietary restrictions: I have a sensitivity to nightshades and they understood and were graciously accommodating.“
“This is a stunning place to get a meal to cook at home, to take to the beach for a picnic, or hang out in their small lounge for an Italian happy hour. I absolutely love all the food. I have tried a lot of it at La Spiga, but there is stuff that you can get here that you can’t get at La Spiga. Everything comes in a perfect size and all the accompaniments you could think of are here. I have catered full on parties with items I’ve gotten from here and the reviews are always rave. People always ask me where they can get the food, and I tell them La Dispensa! It doesn’t hurt that it is located in the absolutely adorable Chophouse Row building in Capitol Hill.Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: You can get gluten free and vegan options hereParking: Parking is terrible but pickup is easy w a priority pick up space w a 30 minute limitKid-friendliness: Kids LIVE La DispensaWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible through chophouse row“
“This was my third time frequenting Willmott's and the food has been consistently excellent. The service on the other hand has been consistently lacking. After getting seated each time, water was promptly provided and drink orders taken, but then there's been a long lag before you can order (this time was 18 minutes and the restaurant was maybe at ~30% capacity).“
“Gino's remarkable expertise and passion for food shone brightly during our recent dining experience. Despite the restaurant facing a staffing shortage, Gino stepped up admirably, seamlessly managing multiple roles—from bartending to table service and even bussing tables. His proactive approach in recommending alternative menu options when items ran out showcased his deep understanding of the cuisine. Despite a delay in our food arrival. My boyfriend and I had tickets downtown and our food did not come out in time but Gino saved our food ticket and ensured us if we came back he could serve us. Gino's exceptional service saved the day, ensuring we could enjoy our meal after our date night downtown. It's clear that Gino's dedication and talent not only enhanced our dining experience but also played a pivotal role in sustaining the restaurant's success. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to relish both the delightful cuisine and Gino's unparalleled service once again.“
“Very pleasantly surprised! I had pretty low-mod expectations about this place but it was really good especially for the price. We had the eggplant salad, burrata, the ravioli, and the bolognese and all were very good and super fresh. I couldn’t believe how fresh the greens were for especially for “fast food.” We’ll def eat here again.“
“Really amazing Italian restaurant in Seattle. I went there for Valentine’s Day with my husband and we really enjoyed it. The food was AWESOME and so were the drinks. Everything was really tasty and we can’t wait to be back. The service was also top notch.Highly recommend it!“
“This was the closest thing I’ve had to a religious experience in years. If I died and heaven were real, I’d imagine everyone eating the focaccia at Tavolàta before digging into some carbonara. The texture of the noodles? The lord’s work. Sauce? Angels singing to the taste buds. The service here was also incredible and we had a fantastic celebratory evening.?“
“Super friendly staff who care about their customers and great pizza (really tasty sauce!). Good selection of salads, too.Vegetarian options: Lots of salad options and vegetarian pizza toppingsKid-friendliness: 8" personal pizza is perfect for kids and Sahara also sells dough ballsWheelchair accessibility: ADA parking right near Sahara's front door and the Sahara staff will also carry out to the car“
“The spicy chicken tandoori pizza is a must try! The default toppings are good enough, the crust is soft and there is actual tandoori chicken in it which is tasty on its own. I would recommend ordering 45 mins before your pickup time since they seem to be understaffed. This place definitely deserves a higher ratingParking: Free parking for customers“
“Let me tell you about this place! We first tried them 2 weeks ago after I picked my wife up from work. We had the Bella Luna Special pizza and cheese bread. We ate in the car a couple blocks away. They only have delivery and pick up. Anyhow, omg! The pizza, the bread! So fresh, so tasty. I'm always on the hunt for amazing pizza and Italian food. My wife and I were blown away.Today, as of this review, we ate there again. I had the Quatro Formaggio with meat sauce, and my wife had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Again, ate it a couple blocks away. Outstanding! And super hot and fresh heh. The Quatro is a baked 4 cheese spaghetti. So good. My wife said the Gnocchi was delicious. If your in Burien or gonna pass by, you should try this place! We live in Covington and drove back again to eat this food. And we will continue to!“
“We arrived famished and ready to eat. Starting with the crispy artichokes that were excellent. We both opted for the "Daniel's Delmonico" and were not disappointed. Accompanied by the Lobster Mac and Cheese. What a taste treat. The staff is superb.“
“Had dinner with a friend. We both got the moxed seafood grill (Halibut, shrimp and calamari steak. sautéed spinach and house pasta) was delicious. We split a large caesar, and that was also very good. I didn't have croutons which would have made it better. Service was good, though we were seated in between 2-3 large parties and got lost from the server a while. Will definitely be back.“
