“Patient and thorough with non-typical allergies! Thank you so much! I’ve been meaning to leave this review for awhile. My wife has a wide range of allergies and there are very few places she can eat at. Too often restaurant staff aren’t thorough with ingredients and sub ingredients (like, great it has artichokes but what were they *preserved* in?) More often than not when we try someplace new she has a reaction so usually we cook at home. But months back a manager or supervisor at this location took a lot of time to go through the menu with my wife until she found something she could have reliably every time we go there. Because of that we eat out there pretty much more than anywhere else. Thank you so much for taking allergens seriously and considering sub ingredients.“

“Fun, trendy atmosphere with a different live act every night. Unfortunately, the music was very loud (bordering on too loud) in the front room and not audible in the back. The mushroom pasta was a little too salty for me, but I highly recommend the lasagna, which was light and airy and topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce. The bread pudding and crème brûlée were also great“

“We had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our pizzas were very fresh and the funghi pizza was excellent. We got to try an "orange" wine and it was different but very light and actually got rid of my headache. Nice folks.“

“Charmingly tucked away in Pike Place Market's atrium, you might side-eye the lofty pasta prices for counter-style service, just like I did, until... BAM! You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. I did pass on the $14 wine pour because that's not right for lunch. That would get me a whole carafe in Italy.“

“The best Italian food in Seattle. The focaccia is probably the best bread I’ve ever had. The heirloom tomato and nectarine marinara is a revelation. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Great food but just think the staff are amazing. Lisa is fun to see when we go in. A great, friendly owner and makes us feel like fam. We drive in from Sammamish to eat here! So that is a strong review in itself!“

“Very nice atmosphere at this location which is nestled inside of the 'Starbucks Reserve Roastery' building, solid bakery goods are offered here at semi-reasonable prices, and the place has an upper class environment and decor.
Staff can be very busy sometimes as the place is often very crowded with tourists and commutera alike, as this is a Flagship starbucks location with a little bakery/cafe nestled inside.
Prices are semi-reasonable although not the best for consistent visits. Altogether I would say this is a place to stop to treat yourself, but not an everyday place.
Coffee is available through starbucks at the other side of their shared building.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian options, although not a large number of them.
Parking: The location is difficult to find parking at due to proximity to a large amount of other high traffic businesses on the southwestern side of Capitol Hill, but it's rather accessible via public transit and by foot.
Kid-friendliness: I would refrain from taking small children here, and would try not to take anyone who isn't 16+ as the environment is difficult due to how busy it tends to be.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesibility is solidly available at this location. They have wheelchair accessible doors and transit between upper and lower floors.“

“An excellent place to celebrate! My husband took me here as a surprise for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Matthew was an excellent server-prompt, knowledgeable and polite. The food was fantastic, the drinks phenomenal and they really know how to make birthdays special without being over the top about it. We will be back and requesting Matthew as a server soon! Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“Great for a quiet evening out or a nice dinner for two. Nice view of the water in the distance. Appetizers were flavorful, although a little overcooked and slightly rubbery. The pasta was wonderful! We had the rigatoni al salmone which was amazing. The smoked salmon was delightful in the garlic cream sauce. The tiramisu made in house was the perfect desert to finish things off. Must visit this wonderful restaurant if you get the chance!“

“Some friends invited us to dinner and from the moment we entered the aromas had our mouths water. Tasty pasta dishes and wonderful desserts. I had the lemon cheesecake and if you like lemon you won’t be disappointed. The seasonal pumpkin cheesecake gave the Cheesecake Factory a run for the money!!“

“I’ve been in a few times as I work in the area. As recent as this last week I visited with some coworkers and the food and service were great. Our server was personable and quick and the bartender (possibly also manager?) was very sweet and made a point to personally deliver our drinks and inquire about where our group was in from and asked us what we thought would make happy hour more accessible for us and others. Overall, a great space and I’d highly recommend!“

“If we (4 of us traveling for a conference) could give it 100 stars we would have! From the greeting, ambiance, food and service this restaurant is exquisite! The presentation of the food matched the flavor and can be described no other way than flavorful and devine! The locals may know of this place but we are considering it the best kept secret for travelers!“

“We were looking for great pasta before a concert at CPA, and found this delicious spot that was under a 15min walk. Great service and super fresh ingredients. I loved the heirloom tomatoes and the vodka pasta. Everything was top notch though! Would choose to dine indoors next time though due to the foot traffic engaging with our meal.“

“Tulio is definitely a standout in downtown Seattle. The food, presentation, and wine list is top-notch, but the real star of the show (or stars) are the staff, who go above-and-beyond.
From the start, we arrived at 7:40 for a 7:45 reservation, and our table wasn't quite ready. The wonderful front-desk staff directed us to a lovely waiting area and provided us with champagne as we waited!!! (Also, I feel awful that I didn't get the wonderful front-desk attendant's name - if you're reading this, Claire [my partner] found the link the Doc Martens you liked, and next time we're in, we'll share!!)
Following that, we were led to our table, where our waiter Shasta was absolutely phenomenal. He was a delight to talk with and recommended a fantastic Barolo that paired beautifully with our dinner. The star of the show was, however, the house-made limoncello that Shasta himself creates (distills?). This was by far some of the most delicious limoncello I've ever had, and I truly hope he submits it for recognition!!
We will definitely be returning. This is a must-go in Seattle - you won't be disappointed, and you'll definitely be back.
Thank you Tulio!!!“

“Assagio is the best Italian restaurant in Seattle!
It's been our favorite place for the last seven years. The food is fantastic; I recommend trying their Rigatoni, Lasagna, or Penne
Vodka; also, if you want to try something other than pasta, try any of their salmon specials, which are always magical.
The service is also top-notch. 100% recommended.“

“the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“I've been going here since I was a kid with my family. The food, service, and environment all remain absolutely wonderful. I had the carbonara and it was delicious!! My sister can only find her favorite fettuccine Alfredo here, no where else serves it with ham. I will keep being a patron the rest of my life. Thank you for such great consistent tasty Italian food ?“
“This is a stunning place to get a meal to cook at home, to take to the beach for a picnic, or hang out in their small lounge for an Italian happy hour. I absolutely love all the food. I have tried a lot of it at La Spiga, but there is stuff that you can get here that you can’t get at La Spiga. Everything comes in a perfect size and all the accompaniments you could think of are here. I have catered full on parties with items I’ve gotten from here and the reviews are always rave. People always ask me where they can get the food, and I tell them La Dispensa! It doesn’t hurt that it is located in the absolutely adorable Chophouse Row building in Capitol Hill.
Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: You can get gluten free and vegan options here
Parking: Parking is terrible but pickup is easy w a priority pick up space w a 30 minute limit
Kid-friendliness: Kids LIVE La Dispensa
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible through chophouse row“

“Had dinner here - hubby had spaghetti carbonara, and I had vongole e cozze - an appetizer but I eat light. The vongole was good (the sauce was salty though) and the carbonara was very filling but needed just a tad flavor aside from the saltiness of the pancetta. Still not a bad dinner though. The chocolate truffle was good!“

“Meatball sub was pretty delicious. I’m a big fan of their baguette. They actually have the marinara sauce on the side which is so smart. As soon as it was in the sandwich it definitely got soggy (but that’s expected)
We came in around 1:30ish on a Saturday and omg, not even 20 mins later - they were “sold out”. There’s not too much seating but we were able to snag some stools.
I thought the overall flavor wasn’t special but I felt satisfied and full. The restaurant runs by ordering via an iPad so they call out your name when it’s ready. A good spot to check out in pioneer! Just be warned they sell out easily.“

“The place is definitely cute, perfect for date night. Came here for the last night in Seattle. My partner and I were highly satisfied with the food. However the service could have been a bit better. Other than that I would recommend. I’ll say this, by far the best Italian place I’ve tried anywhere. Very authentic 100%.“

“Cool vibe, and the live-fire was great. Service nice and ultrafast. Coffee, like usual at Starbucks, good but not excellent. Only thing I disliked were the unisex bathrooms, I get the idea, but I just couldn't feel very confident on it. My opinion only.“

“A tad dark but love the food The staff easy parking, looking forward to going back
Kid-friendliness: There were a couple kids when I was there. But it's not what I would call a family restaurant.. definitely. Pick up a meal and take it home.
Is an option if you can't find a babysitter“
