“Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).”

All of it wa excellent including the amazing drink selection. The place itself has a great atmosphere inside and outside. Our sever, Kemper, was so helpful and kind and even gave us some great suggestions for pairings. Go to Farrar's, you won't be disappointed!”

“My favorite coffee shop in downtown Vancouver, and I’ve tried pretty much all of them. The atmosphere is nice. The coffee is good and I love their mochas and hot chocolate - tastes like real chocolate which love, as opposed to the typical chemical laden syrup taste. They have Spielman bagels - so good and they put the cream cheese on for you so you don’t have to wrestle with it.
The baristas are genuinely nice people and always give great service - no weird vibes here. 💞”

He was very patient with my never ending questions If you haven't had their homemade bread, you should. I ordered a meat lovers and its as good as any pizza I can remember. It took me back to my favorite pizza as a child. The menu is pretty broad, everything we had I enjoyed. The service had me smiling. This is a phenomenal place!”

And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Our waitress, server, greeter and the food more than made up for the bad taste she left in my mouth, thank goodness.”

“My dad has been wanting to try Krisey's Kitchen for months now and we finally were able to stop by. We placed our order ahead of time which was a good idea and it was ready by the time we got there. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Now for the food. For the price it is a good amount of food. 2-3 people could easily share a single plate of food. The food was delicious. The chicken breast basket came with 3 massive sides, the chicken was moist and had a great flavor. The hushpuppies and okra were also great. The dessert was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your kindness and your amazing food.

I really appreciate Larisa, Kenny, and the manager Shannon. They always make sure my vegetarian order is fresh off the grill and exactly how I want it. It’s rare to find that level of attention and consistency at a fast food spot.

“Di Tazza bakery, cafe and coffee drive thru is a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends. They have pastries and yummy frittatas, biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches. They have vegetarian choices and some nice gluten free pastries that are all made on the premises. It’s really cute and clean. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel welcome. I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰”

“I wasn't expecting much from our first glance in; had kind of a dive bar vibe, not the kind of place I'd usually take my fancy Lady. Not *bad*, mind, just not fancy. No table service, order at the bar. 7/10 for ambiance.
Cocktails were *top notch*. I had an Emerald Canopy (punchy, pineapple forward), and my Lady had Pelennor Fields (like a smoked old fashioned, but a bit fruity), and both were excellent. I also had a rum punch, which was also great. 10/10 for drinks.
The food absolutely blew us away. I had the Grocery Burger with fries, and the Lady had Mac & Cheese with grilled chicken. Both were fantastic. Pretty open space, so our group didn’t feel like we were fighting for room. The bar started out quiet, then filled just enough to buzz without chaos. Cute photo booth. I didn't order food but whatever was going by looked good. The guys snuck away to play on the classic arcade games for a while in the back lolz.
Drinks were clever, balanced, and beautifully served. We tried a bunch of cocktails across the menu. The Charlie Tango drink presentation was show-stopping. Wait times weren’t very long with two bartenders. Aurora was really friendly and helped refill our water. Didn’t talk with her much, but she had a sweet presence. Christian made our drinks and was hilarious—witty, quick to read the room when we needed something. I will definitely be back to debate big foot with him.

“Maybe a year ago I see this dude that goes by Mexi Papa, who is often with Mark Weins in the SW and Mexico, go to Las Islas En Ponchos and put it on YouTube. Been on my list ever since. Since then, my expectation was that I was going to be head over heels like Tears for Fears for the shrimp empanadas with queso. They were delicious, however...I did not imagine that I was going to eat the best crab I've ever had. The patas de jaiba has this butter garlic chili...just GOTdamn ridiculously tasty sauce with sliced red onions all over the plate. When you get a good chunk of crab out of there and spoon some of that sauce and onions on it, it's just so damn satisfying. Best crab ever. Even better than BBQ versions I've had. I was so full that I only really tasted the fajitas that I got, which were absolutely awesome in their own right. I just didn't have enough room and my wife also loves fajitas so that was a good take home anyway. The michelada was pretty standard and tasty, but the mangoneada was top notch. They use mango puree and blend it with ice and that's what makes it great, rather than just using juice or some mix. Good dose of chamoy in and on the glass with a tajin rim..great drink that comes with or without alcohol. This place is largely a seafood restaurant in Nayarit fashion, a small Mexican state just north of Puerto Vallarta, but you can get this food on 4th Plain.The band was supposed to start at 7:30, but didn't start until 8 so I only caught the opening, but they've been advertising a band once a week on their Facebook page so keep an eye out if you care. It is LOUD in there though so be warned. And just because I feel like throwing something random in here and also because Linda Ronstadt has become popular again because of The Last of Us and her music brings back memories of my mother, many people don't know that she is half Mexican and had a very successful career across the border. The waffle was thick and perfectly cooked and came with not a pad of ice cold butter, but a large bowl of MELTED butter to pour over the waffle. I was so glad to hear the family has pulled it all back together and re-opened MIGUELS!
