“Came across Pollard while Googling local, small coffee roasters, and I'm so happy I did! Definitely one of our favorite coffees, been getting Pollard for a while now and it has never disappointed 😄 We always get compliments back when we gift Pollard coffee and their customer service is awesome! Have fun with the custom blend option, it's a nice feature, especially when giving as a gift ☕“

“Delicious espresso made with love. Stay awhile and enjoy local banter as neighbors lament the latest island life. Pro tip: They offer homemade chorizo breakfast burritos & a plethora of baked goods from various island artisans. Burton Coffee Stand is the pearl of Vashon’s oyster. Yum!“

“As I brew my morning coffee here in Austin, TX—over a year after visiting Caffe Vino Olio—I find myself wishing for a cup of their coffee instead. Despite Seattle’s renowned coffee culture and all the great coffee I enjoyed there, Caffe Vino Olio stands out in my memory. Each morning, as I wait for my coffee to brew, I’m reminded of the smooth, rich flavor and the cozy, welcoming vibe of this charming cafe nestled in the heart of a beautiful island town. Their coffee wasn’t the only highlight—pairing it with one of their fresh, homemade bagels made for a cozy, quiet morning that I hope to return to one day.“

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find. I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!“

“Excellent Starbucks destination! I love taking our friends and family here when they visit as part of the signature Seattle experience. Unlike regular locations, they have their own bakery, gorgeous iron ovens, and they serve alcoholic drinks. They will make your drink with an AeroPress, chemex, pour-over, Clover, or a few other options. Their whiskey barrel-aged cold brew is amazing. My gluten-eating friends and family tell me that the bakery items are incredible. Being fresh baked and with high quality ingredients. This is a great place to visit, and a place I go to again and again.“

“I’m glad I finally dropped by here. I’ve heard great things about this place for years and I can verify it is all true!
It’s energizing seeing people with such passion about coffee and repairing equipment. Everyone speaks honestly and doesn’t try to upsell you on a machine that you don’t want or doesn’t fit your needs. From Chemex filters to commercial espresso machines, they have it all.
Highly recommended! Support local, invest in your machines and local coffee culture!“

“First visit here. Parking near. Nice sized menu. Cashier was very sweet. The food was so so good and refreshing. The salmon sandwich was chefs kiss! Fresh and tasty fish. My wife got the rancher and she said it was amazing. My strawberry kiwi slushie was really sweet so I let it water down a bit. But it was still really good. Definitely recommend and will return.“

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon after a friend recommended this local spot in Burien.
We tried the bacon sandwich, $13 from the breakfast menu, and the Cuban melt $15 from the lunch menu.
While the café itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The bacon sandwich felt a bit too small for the price, and the Cuban melt could have been much better if they had added some Dijon mustard to balance the richness of the mayo—it would have brought out the true flavor of a Cuban sandwich.
Staff were kind, and the space has a neighborhood charm, so I’d be open to coming back to try their pastries or coffee.“

“Sitting in my car shaking and crying, barely able to compose myself to drive right now. Those who frequent Auntie Irene's beware of the owner. She just yelled at me infront of the whole shop, about parking out front. It sent me into a anxiety riddened, ptsd fueled state. There were zero parking stalls when l pulled into the coffee shop. l was grabbing my one coffee and leaving. l would be there for 5 minutes maybe 10 at most. I parked snuggled up along the the flower bed north of the shop, in front of the rhodedendron/north of the deck. On the other side of the flower bed is parking stalls. Just to exactly detail where l was parked. Completely out of anyone's way. There is no posted sign saying "no parking here", nor is it a painted fire lane. If that were the case, of course l wouldn't park there. That's obvious. I was not blocking her drive thru window line or blocking either entrance to her shop. I wasn't in the way of people needing to back out ,since they have to turn the other way to exit. After placing my coffee order, an waiting about 5 minutes at a table, she came out of no where and reprimanded me like a child....She could have politely introduced herself and asked me to move. She never even told me who she was. For all l knew, she was a crazed lady bossing me around. No "hi", "hello" or "how are you?". She just marched up to me without identifying shes the owner and started in on me. I would have had zero problem being asked to move, if she had gone about it in a decent manner, that most "adults" are capable of. Her tone was egregious and severely uncalled for. Over the years, l have heard rumors about an aggressive, petite, blonde haired, older lady named Susie as the owner. That was the only reason l deduced this must be the owner, becuase like l stated she did not tell me who she was at all. But, l had only ever seen her maybe 3 times, in all the years I've been going there. I have never spoken to her or even had an one on one encounter with her. So, for her to treat me, complete stranger, who is paying for a comfortable place to enjoy coffee like this, this is wildly uncalled for. I'm a full grown adult mind you, though lve been told, l look young for my age. Even if l was young, it still would not make this encounter okay at all. l was so taken a back, l couldn't even mutter a reply to her. l ran out of the shop and immediately reparked my car. There were stalls open at this point. l had to smoke a cigarette to calm down before l went back in, it rattled me so badly. l was barely able to muster up the courage to go back in for my coffee, without feeling like l was going to start breaking out into tears, if l saw her or had to encounter her again to get my coffee. I came back in, and by then she was no where to be seen... She wasn't there to thank me for moving and understanding her concern. Nothing, she just disappeared. She ambush disciplined me and disappeared, which made it even weirder and more upsetting...Anyways, when l came back in the staff asked me where l went? l didn't want to tell them what happened, so l pretended like l didn't hear their question and barely got out a stiffled, whimper of a "thank you" to them. Rushing out of the shop before they had a chance to see me upset.. I didn't want them to think they were the reason l was in this clearly emotional state. They didn't do anything wrong, so l wasn't about to complain to them about their own boss. There would be nothing they could do about her actions, if she's in charge, ya know? When l got back to my car, l broke down in tears, past PTSD trauma flooding in. I've had experiences like this with some past elder women bosses, in my younger years. I've been subject to 3 very unprofessional older female boss's. Who, in over the years had treated me completely horribly and were very verbally abusive. One even grabbed my arm so hard she left bruising. All of them traumatizing me, using their p“

“I absolutely adore this place! Not sure how, but the staff always remembers my kiddos order when we walk in. Bagels are fresh, cream cheese is delicious and staff is always professional. My only complaint is that they insist on using fresh blueberries so there’s about a 4-6 week period of time each year they make blueberry bagels and you better get there early if you want some 🤣. On the bright side, I’m not eating a blueberry bagel every day which is probably for the best. Love you guys, thanks for bringing good bagels to Gig Harbor!“

“This place is awesome. Easily in my top 5 places to get coffee in the Seattle area (and I've lived here 20 years). First and foremost, their staff. Always welcoming and they know how to make great coffee. Second, their coffee is top notch. I always look forward to my first cup there, then again think about when I can get another for my ride home. Perfect balance of all flavors, and more, that you'd expect from a great coffee shop.“
