We had the bacon, and the veggie breakfast burrito. Lots of rice, not fully cooked. Only one slice of bacon, and not a very strong bacon flavor. Pretty bland. Would not do these again.“

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!“

“Excellent Starbucks destination! I love taking our friends and family here when they visit as part of the signature Seattle experience. Unlike regular locations, they have their own bakery, gorgeous iron ovens, and they serve alcoholic drinks. They will make your drink with an AeroPress, chemex, pour-over, Clover, or a few other options. Their whiskey barrel-aged cold brew is amazing. My gluten-eating friends and family tell me that the bakery items are incredible. Being fresh baked and with high quality ingredients. This is a great place to visit, and a place I go to again and again.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon after a friend recommended this local spot in Burien.
We tried the bacon sandwich, $13 from the breakfast menu, and the Cuban melt $15 from the lunch menu.

While the café itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The bacon sandwich felt a bit too small for the price, and the Cuban melt could have been much better if they had added some Dijon mustard to balance the richness of the mayo—it would have brought out the true flavor of a Cuban sandwich.

Staff were kind, and the space has a neighborhood charm, so I’d be open to coming back to try their pastries or coffee.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I did not have high expectations. I got like an energy drink Italian soda type thing with some CBD added and while it was very sweet it was effective. My friends got coffees and they liked them. There were breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches etc. And they were totally good.“

“I went here when my other coffee shop was a little full and the baristas were kind of going a little crazy.

I hopped on my bike just started riding and when I got to the highest hill in Seattle I realized that I was right next to QED

I dropped down 70 ft. And hopped in and realized also that they had macarena danishes.

And the new baristas there are much much nicer than they were before when it was some other coffee shop. QED is added a comfort level and a friendly smile that supersedes anything that has been in this space before.

Certainly I'm going to start going to this coffee shop more because it's a great bike ride up hills and they have Great danishes and the service is incredibly nice.“

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

We will come in here sometimes and just get the cheese plate or a little sandwich and a drink and sit around and just talk it's a very peaceful relaxing place they have indoor and outdoor seating. And it's on the corner the inside of the strip mall so you have a nice view if you sit outside on a sunny day. “I absolutely LOVE their coffee! They also have the most sugar free flavors of any coffee shop that I've been to. I'm diabetic and am thrilled that I have a coffee shop that I can go to and get so many flavor combinations for coffee and such. It makes my day when I can actually get the day's special in sugar free, which is most of the time. Then there are the awesome ladies that work there. I always leave with a smile! I think they could brighten anyone's day! “It’s a shame, if this place was cleaned up a bit more it would have a solid 5/5. It has a nice atmosphere and the coffee was great but it was a bit grimy if I had to describe it in one word.
Got a holy mole mocha and avocado tartine with lox. As mentioned earlier, the coffee was great but the tartine was just alright. Some parts were cold, others were warm, and the avocado had spots on it, which I normally wouldn’t care if it was my kitchen but I would expect better if I’m paying for it.

Edit: Increasing my rating to a 4/5 from 3/5 after the owner’s response. To the owner: I appreciate your response and would definitely come back to support the business. I understand it’s an old building and dust build-up cannot always be addressed but it would be great if tables and chairs were at least wiped between customers or every couple of hours. We visited on a Saturday and it seemed like there were quite a number of employees working and talking in the back area who might be able to do a quick wipe down and trash clean up. Regardless, thank you for your response.“

“Good experience today- 11:00 on a Saturday (except for the customer who couldn’t seem to get over herself when we grabbed her coffee cup mistakingly. You say you’re genuinely sorry and try to be friendly and get nothing but Seattle freeze🤦🏼‍♀️.) The staff were welcoming, fast, efficient, very polite, customer oriented, friendly towards me and my friend, put up with me ordering the wrong bagel, then grabbing the wrong cup, asking for a knife to butter the bagel when it was right in front of me. They forgot I needed butter with my correct bagel, but hey, they were busy, and I’ll take a friendly experience over being too critical. Ditsy moments for me, but my experience here this time around, after a year or more hiatus was much better. Music wasn’t too loud, lots of nice space and a bar with morning sunshine, clean tables outside.“
