“Delicious espresso made with love. Stay awhile and enjoy local banter as neighbors lament the latest island life. Pro tip: They offer homemade chorizo breakfast burritos & a plethora of baked goods from various island artisans. Burton Coffee Stand is the pearl of Vashon’s oyster. Yum!“
“Employees are super nice and friendly both at the coffee shop and gift store area. Such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with people sitting outside on the porch. We were driving around and came to a stop sign outside of this place and the aroma of roasting coffee made us pull over and come inside. I would rate their espresso quite high - definitely way above average. Bought some light roast Guatemalan beans and honey.“

“As I brew my morning coffee here in Austin, TX—over a year after visiting Caffe Vino Olio—I find myself wishing for a cup of their coffee instead. Despite Seattle’s renowned coffee culture and all the great coffee I enjoyed there, Caffe Vino Olio stands out in my memory. Each morning, as I wait for my coffee to brew, I’m reminded of the smooth, rich flavor and the cozy, welcoming vibe of this charming cafe nestled in the heart of a beautiful island town. Their coffee wasn’t the only highlight—pairing it with one of their fresh, homemade bagels made for a cozy, quiet morning that I hope to return to one day.“

“This little place has a homey feel. It took a moment to learn how it works: there's a large refrigerated case with shelves of menu items packaged to go, which can be heated and served to your table, an unusual approach, but one that worked well. There is a large selection of teas and other packaged food items, and the teacups are beautiful and varied. It was easy to select from plentiful vegan options. We had kichree and tofu curry, along with Beyond momos, which were amazing. The three chutneys were greasy and delicious, served in their squeeze bottles.“

“First time visiting today. It was perfect weather to order a Red Boat Caramel latte. My bahn mi was super tasty. The bread has that crunchy exterior and chewy interior.
I'm looking forward to trying the mini bahn mi and some of the other coffee offerings.
You really need to visit.
Online orders welcomed.
Parking is hit or miss.“

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find. I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!“

“Situated in a very walkable part of town, perfect if you're staying in an AirBnB nearby. Parking is very sparse, but the staff are friendly. Walkup window only, but there are a few tables on the sidewalk where you can enjoy your coffee.“

“This is a must stop if you’re a coffee lover. The selection was outstanding. In our group we got the coffee flight, cold brew flight, and individual drinks. The coffee flight was great! Not a single one did we dislike. The cold brew flight was amazing. The whiskey barrel cold brew is easily one of the favorite cold brews I’ve ever had. I also had a single origin Honduras coffee on pour over and it was so smooth and balanced. The food was also really good! I had the salmon and cream cheese brioche and I very much enjoyed it.“

“I’m glad I finally dropped by here. I’ve heard great things about this place for years and I can verify it is all true!
It’s energizing seeing people with such passion about coffee and repairing equipment. Everyone speaks honestly and doesn’t try to upsell you on a machine that you don’t want or doesn’t fit your needs. From Chemex filters to commercial espresso machines, they have it all.
Highly recommended! Support local, invest in your machines and local coffee culture!“

“Always good to visit Puffy Pandy on a leisure afternoon to sip a Ube Latte (btw, quite a strong coffee!!) while having a Cream puff! This time I also bought a couple of boxes of cream puffs, macaroons for my friend who just moved to the area: Great soft music, atmosphere and always great team of people working. The team takes times to explain to us of what their products are and how we can customize our experience - above all, they make sure the experience is enjoyable and comfortable for everyone. Looking forward to my next visit, every time.“

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

“Stopped in after my husband and I have been wanting to try out there sandwiches. My husband got the Reuben and I chose the Veggie. I have to say, it was the best sandwiche I have had in a long time! Bread was fresh, and so were all the veggies! My husband Reuben was fantastic also! Just how a Reuben should taste. So happy we have an awesome sandwiche place so close to home. We definitely will be back often!
While I was waiting for the sandwiches to be made, I ordered a iced coffee and happy to say, that too was delicious.“

“Awesome sandwiches and food. Amazing service even through a delivery app. I had an issue ordering something I wanted due to an error in the app and they went out of their way to make it right. Thank you so much!
Food was delicious also with good portions. My ham and egg sandwich was so tasty, every ingredient from the bread to the onion jam clearly had a lot of thought put into it. Going to have to try more hot drinks also— my tea latte was just right. So many tea lattes are very milk forward as the tea doesn’t steep long enough before milk is added, but they did a great job with mine.
Gonna have to visit again for sure, probably in person next time ??“

“The Vietnamese Coffee was- is the best coffee in the world, hands down. However, when Tab milk tea makes it , it becomes the best in the universe. It is authentic, straight from Vietnam. The Thai milk tea is also amazing. Creamy and the perfect pick me up for mid day dilly dallying! You get to choose the sweetness and the boba is the perfect consistency and texture.“

“I absolutely adore this place! Not sure how, but the staff always remembers my kiddos order when we walk in. Bagels are fresh, cream cheese is delicious and staff is always professional. My only complaint is that they insist on using fresh blueberries so there’s about a 4-6 week period of time each year they make blueberry bagels and you better get there early if you want some 🤣. On the bright side, I’m not eating a blueberry bagel every day which is probably for the best. Love you guys, thanks for bringing good bagels to Gig Harbor!“

“Coffee has been really consistent and strong here over my multiple visits. The staff are nice and attentive. They have back patio for seating besides indoors. We also got goat cheese and bacon pie - both of them were delicious. We are spoiled for having a really good coffee shop in the neighborhood. And they were also open this new year’s day, when every other establishment was closed. Huge props for that as well.“

“This little shop hit EVERY mark! Mighty Mugs came up on multiple local coffee shop search results, but we passed it up a few times. Now I'm pissed we didn't go sooner so we could've gone NOWHERE ELSE!!! The coffee was genuinely among some of the best I've had, but I also have to mention the individuals working, the atmosphere and the menu! Their menu is so extensive - a ton of options to customize but ALSO plenty of drinks to try for those who are indecisive (me). Not only that, but their menu ranged from familiar and safe drinks all the way to "is that too far?" so there's really something for everyone. I ended up going out of my comfort zone on flavors and the baristas NAILED IT. We also got an asiago bagel and it was SO WARM AND YUMMY! the garlic herb cream cheese was also so wonderful. The very sweet and fun baristas were incredibly gracious with the ton of questions I threw at them, and engaged with us like old friends while we decided and they made our drinks. It was such an inviting time and although I'm not local to be a regular, I absolutely WILL be visiting on every Seattle trip! Never change, mighty mugs! ?☕?
Parking: Also has a drive thru
Kid-friendliness: They have fun soda drinks!“

“This place is awesome. Easily in my top 5 places to get coffee in the Seattle area (and I've lived here 20 years). First and foremost, their staff. Always welcoming and they know how to make great coffee. Second, their coffee is top notch. I always look forward to my first cup there, then again think about when I can get another for my ride home. Perfect balance of all flavors, and more, that you'd expect from a great coffee shop.“

“Sitting in my car shaking and crying, barely able to compose myself to drive right now. Those who frequent Auntie Irene's beware of the owner. She just yelled at me infront of the whole shop, about parking out front. It sent me into a anxiety riddened, ptsd fueled state. There were zero parking stalls when l pulled into the coffee shop. l was grabbing my one coffee and leaving. l would be there for 5 minutes maybe 10 at most. I parked snuggled up along the the flower bed north of the shop, in front of the rhodedendron/north of the deck. On the other side of the flower bed is parking stalls. Just to exactly detail where l was parked. Completely out of anyone's way. There is no posted sign saying "no parking here", nor is it a painted fire lane. If that were the case, of course l wouldn't park there. That's obvious. I was not blocking her drive thru window line or blocking either entrance to her shop. I wasn't in the way of people needing to back out ,since they have to turn the other way to exit. After placing my coffee order, an waiting about 5 minutes at a table, she came out of no where and reprimanded me like a child....She could have politely introduced herself and asked me to move. She never even told me who she was. For all l knew, she was a crazed lady bossing me around. No "hi", "hello" or "how are you?". She just marched up to me without identifying shes the owner and started in on me. I would have had zero problem being asked to move, if she had gone about it in a decent manner, that most "adults" are capable of. Her tone was egregious and severely uncalled for. Over the years, l have heard rumors about an aggressive, petite, blonde haired, older lady named Susie as the owner. That was the only reason l deduced this must be the owner, becuase like l stated she did not tell me who she was at all. But, l had only ever seen her maybe 3 times, in all the years I've been going there. I have never spoken to her or even had an one on one encounter with her. So, for her to treat me, complete stranger, who is paying for a comfortable place to enjoy coffee like this, this is wildly uncalled for. I'm a full grown adult mind you, though lve been told, l look young for my age. Even if l was young, it still would not make this encounter okay at all. l was so taken a back, l couldn't even mutter a reply to her. l ran out of the shop and immediately reparked my car. There were stalls open at this point. l had to smoke a cigarette to calm down before l went back in, it rattled me so badly. l was barely able to muster up the courage to go back in for my coffee, without feeling like l was going to start breaking out into tears, if l saw her or had to encounter her again to get my coffee. I came back in, and by then she was no where to be seen... She wasn't there to thank me for moving and understanding her concern. Nothing, she just disappeared. She ambush disciplined me and disappeared, which made it even weirder and more upsetting...Anyways, when l came back in the staff asked me where l went? l didn't want to tell them what happened, so l pretended like l didn't hear their question and barely got out a stiffled, whimper of a "thank you" to them. Rushing out of the shop before they had a chance to see me upset.. I didn't want them to think they were the reason l was in this clearly emotional state. They didn't do anything wrong, so l wasn't about to complain to them about their own boss. There would be nothing they could do about her actions, if she's in charge, ya know? When l got back to my car, l broke down in tears, past PTSD trauma flooding in. I've had experiences like this with some past elder women bosses, in my younger years. I've been subject to 3 very unprofessional older female boss's. Who, in over the years had treated me completely horribly and were very verbally abusive. One even grabbed my arm so hard she left bruising. All of them traumatizing me, using their p“
