“From the Start, We couldn’t have had a better experience. We where greeted with a smile and quickly seated. The dining room is comfortable and open. The arancini was fantastic. I had the pork belly pizza and my wife had the Porchetta which where both very good. My wife said The tiramisú was the best she has ever had. Our server was friendly and attentive, the manager visited our table just to check on us. The pace was comfortable from Oder to delivery and we never felt rushed. We will be back”

“My hometowns one of everyone’s favorite bars . I moved to Ky and just went back to have a baby shower during the day with lots of food that you can bring in. They have there regulars which are always pleasant. Nightlife isn’t too bad they have pool tables, darts,and gaming machines. For young or old♥️

Parking: Parking lot is a little on the rocky side. The bar is on one side and then around the corner (all connected) there is a laundry mat and a small business.

Blue Bear has always offered great smoked BBQ and farm-to-table entrees, sides and desserts, and there is no letdown in food quality with their move to The Nash building in downtown Racine, WI. The restaurant is in the atrium of the Indian motorcycle dealer, with great views of classic bikes while you eat. Sunday brunch was fantastic, from the drinks to the entrees. The smoked pork hash was particularly good! Looking forward to my next visit!”

“I was very glad to see another restaurant open quickly in the old Blue Bear space. My husband had visited for lunch and had the Menudo which he said was delicious and a very large portion. Today we visited for breakfast. The dog theme is adorable ☺️, the service prompt, and the food was excellent. My husband had the chilaquiles with skirt steak. You could tell this was scratch made food. Great seasonings and the beans were served in a tortilla shell bowl you could eat. I had the Chloe’s skillet with rye toast. They had me at fresh mushrooms in the dish. The eggs were actually over easy, this rarely happens but they got it right. The burgers looked delicious and we will be back. We both highly recommend Chloe’s cafe for fresh made food, great service and a good prices”

The cheese curds were plentiful and delicious. This establishment was busy when all the surrounding ones were dead. There were ppl there when we walked in about 7pm and it doubled by the time we left. The prices are unbeatable. We're definitely coming back.”

“Order at the counter, if you dine in they will bring it to you at your table. Friendly, answered any questions we had. Everything is made from scratch No frozen or prepared elsewhere. Falafel wrap was so tasty though I'd love it in a pita that opens into a pocket. We ordered a mixed plate. Chose chicken shawarma as our meat w/ grilled peppers and onions, hummus, greek salad with feta, olives, tomato and cucumber, yellow rice (saffron?), 4 falafels, tahini sauce and pitas triangles. Try the high pepper sauce, if you like some heat. Highly recommend. Will be working our way through the menu.”

“It's a gas station and it's a little hood, there may be people standing around outside and you may occasionally get asked for a little change but not normally and they usually are polite and hold the door for you. Don't let that stop you though because that chicken is worth the walk, wait, and interacting with a few nice people for a couple minutes. This is the best chicken in the city, no doubt 👌 it's usually pretty fast and you can grab smokes, gas, drinks, a new pipe, some dinner, and they have gambling machines, if you're looking for a little fun too.”

“This was my first time eating at Douglas Avenue diner and it was really good. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp on fish fry Fridays. I got the coleslaw and potato pancake as my sides and oh it was amazing. Not everyone’s coleslaw makes the cut but this one was quite tasty. I didn’t catch our waitresses name but she was fun and attentive and carried great conversation. It was very clean inside. I even noticed the front staff helping hold the door open for an elderly woman coming inside. I can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.”

“We were pleasantly surprised by Durango’s in Racine! This is the oddest little house that operates as a pizza joint as well as a chocolate shop. When you walk in, it is very bare and you can see the glass display cases holding the chocolate confections, it smells sweet. We thought we were in the wrong place initially to pick up our pizzas, but they quickly reassured us we were in the right spot. The location has been there for many years, with the family going back many years and obviously loved by the people of Racine. The location is also very convenient right off the main road. The pizza was good! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back and try new things.”

They cook authentic delicious breakfast and lunch. it is perfect for us being as my husband is a third shift worker. he can come here at 8:00 a.m. and get an ice cold Corona and a steak burrito and I can get a delicious breakfast. We love hearing about the little town in Mexico that the owners are from from their daughter that runs the front part of the restaurant. You can't get more authentic Mexican cooking and love from this family-owned restaurant.”

It has really Smokey flavor which three of the people at our table did not like. We have been going there for years, some of us for what we think was the best fettuccini anywhere around. Why they changed it we do not know but we won’t go back and order that again. The mom used to make the sauce and I guess somebody thought it would be good to mess with perfection.”

Durango Pizza is amazing! The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Their pizza is next-level perfectly crispy crust, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of toppings. “Little gem on the Northside! My girlfriend and I have been stopping in there every couple of months for a lunch or dinner. 3 to 5 years now. The atmosphere is great. We love this place! They have excellent specials. Great prices…Great burgers, French dip, and fish. I have never had a bad lunch or dinner there. Whatever you are in the mood for you can usually have it there Excellent cheesecake. The Specialty drinks are also really good. Next time, I’m gonna have one of the sangrias …”

“Wonton soup and egg rolls. Broth was good, had the hot chili already added so I didn't get to taste it without. Wontons were good too, 10 for a large order. The eggrolls were great. Big pieces of cabbage, great crunch. Tasted fresh, possibly house made. Would come here again.👌”

“I always go here for the corn in a cup but yesterday was just all bad. usually it's alot of corn then the toppings. but I got a cup full of mayo and maybe 4 bites of corn as it just barely covered the bottom of the cup. I tossed it. I should've took a picture but when I talked to a friend they had the same experience. I also asked for flour shells and got corn so I gave that away. another time I've had the best food from here 😋”
