“Harry and Billy's is a great place to have drinks or come sing karaoke . Ms. Darlene ( aka mama) is the best bartender in Bessemer in my opinion. Drink prices are good .pool tables with tourneys are held here a few days a week. They have game night on Tuesday I believe. Trading paint was filmed here . Everyone is welcome.( just be nice.) Food is NOT served here you are welcome to order to here or bring your own.”

“I like the chicken wings and have been getting them for a long time. Have also tried the different salads and specials. Truthfully I was disappointed to see that chicken on salad has been reduced to small bites. I am aware of cost changes but this us ridiculous. Smaller but not minuscule.”

“Masa is our absolute FAVORITE place to eat! Our kids LOVE it and the owners treat us like family with warm smiles and big hugs when we come! The food is always excellent with a HUGE sushi menu, we still haven’t tried it all yet but we have loved everything we have tried! Our 6 year olds ask for it all the time! Masa is like our home away from home when we need an excellent meal and don’t feel like cooking!”

“Menu variety, staff service. We stopped by on our way to Tuscaloosa and we’re delighted by the helpfulness of the owner, the food quality, and the wide array of choices. The interior is pleasant and warm, and if we hadn’t been on the road I could see having a lovely book club meeting or a quick lunch for 2 here. Great ambiance, great service. Also such a unique and local food option vs rushing through a fast food drive-thru. We have family in the area and will absolutely be returning!”

“I ordered to of the #6 specials which was burgers, my two loved it. The burgers was homemade and nice size. It was worth it. I ordered a sampler for myself which was 2 ribs with bone, chopped BBQ, and 1/4 chicken which was the breast and wing, with Mac n cheese, and Baked beans.
Now my ribs was kinda on the dry side, the chopped BBQ was about the same, so I skipped out on trying the chicken. The Mac n cheese was a disappointment, just broke my little heart!. The bake beans was ok.
I can't say I won't visit anymore, but I will not be going out my way to go there.”

We came in and had the bologna sandwich and the shrimp salad, and both were absolutely outstanding. The bologna sandwich was piled high, grilled just right, and hit every nostalgic note you could hope for. The shrimp salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the soup of the day was rich and comforting—true scratch-made goodness that you don’t find just anywhere. Even the sweet tea, served in a mason jar, felt right at home here.

Bessemer is so fortunate to have access to your talent! We live in Virginia and are visiting family this week…having this option and ability to pick up warm food on Thanksgiving day morning was such a mental blessing for me! One item i tried a couple months and i don't recommend is the honey chicken. The chicken that's used is low quality and the sauce is meh. It doesn't really compare to Lucky Panda Asian Kitchen's Honey chicken though.”

“My legal assistant and I went to check out the new find, "MeMe's Coffee and Deli," and we were not disappointed. We discovered a coffee shop serving food, karaoke, theme days like Taco Tuesdays, etc. We had our hands full already from our walk today and were not able to get much, but we ordered coffee and hot chocolate, and let me tell you, I am picky about my hot chocolate. I am hooked from the first sip of it. Plan on going there tomorrow for lunch.”

“Whenever I get a high test score, my grandfather drives me out and lets me get a whole basket full of pastries, and it’s never more than $30 for the whole lot. The best part- they aren’t expired. We call it “The Day-Old Bread Store,” but everything is dated at least a month ahead of when you buy it. I highly recommend this as your go-to pantry stuffer store”

“Visited for the first time today! Glad I did! I have been looking for some fantastic wings with plenty of flavor options and when I tell you they have options, they have options! I got a 15 piece with the West Side Fire sauce!! Absolutely freaking amazing!! Wings were cooked perfectly and still hot when I got them home, sauce has a great and the hear level is not ofer the top!! I asked for my sauce in the side as well as extra sauce because I like to really drench em in a good sauce while sitting down with a cold beer and some Alabama football!! I wish their sauce cups were a little bigger but I made it stretch!! I am already wanting more and I just left there about an hour and a half ago!! Next time I am gonna try the TNT sauce!!”
