Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. The food....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection! From the bread, Amuse Bouche, appetizer (great fried green tomatoes, by the way!!!) Intermezzo, main course (ribeye and braised rabbit), and dessert with coffee....every step was amazing! A truly wonderful sensual experience from all the aromas, flavors, and ambiance. “This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let’s just start. The garlic bread they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn’t like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I’d recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we’re taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That’s literally just how we feel since we’ve been going there for years. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town! Cant say enough about their pizza. Thin crust. Able to enjoy the pizza and not have a mouth full of bread. Fast service. Love the professionalism of the owner / bakers. They had on a chef coats and “Italy” caps. The place was extremely clean and VERY inviting. My friend that I went with used the facilités and she came out and was remarking how awesome the bathrooms even were. Def will be eating there again and again. Welcome to Trussville.”

I don't feel like a customer, honestly I try to bring them either energy drinks or donuts and then eat the world's greatest biscuits and gravy, that gravy is absolutely amazing, and there's always a smile on their face, it's always an amazing time and I look forward to each time I come which is about 3 or 4 days a week. the stores always really clean, and it smells amazing. the restrooms are always in great condition, sitting at the bars amazing, there's never food left around or sitting around, they're quick to clean up the tables, these girls really run the show, and everybody else in the background does an amazing job too. really thankful for this place, and I'm really glad that I get to be a part of the BBB family! This is easily in the top 5 coffee shops I’ve ever visited. Tim is a barista’s barista, pleasant to talk to, knows his craft and ready to share his excitement about coffee. The espresso was delicious, smooth, fragrant, sweet, not overly acidic or bitter. The other drinks celebrate the coffee without distracting from it, something I don’t see nearly as often as I’d like.

The shop itself is a welcoming space, lots of natural light, comfortable environment. Great vibe all the way around.

Prices are absolutely fair considering the quality of service and product I received. I’m absolutely coming back ASAP.”

Even the restaurant was crowded due prom season, she got all drink orders promptly. The starters orders arrived soon after. Then the entrees. She was there for drink refills and other requests. She handled the situation with grace, kindness and professionalism. Her and the other wait staff were truly exceptional. The bartenders got drink orders promptly and made to protection. “Colette was a very good server. Food was above average. Bloody Mary wasn't worth the $10.00. However, we get our bill and we are being charged $2.00, a piece, for a biscuit..... WTH??? It took a while to get seated but they were very polite and once we ordered the food came out fairly quickly and was Fantastic. Our table had a burger; a pasta dish and a combo plate. “It’s a neat concept but I think the staff may still be working out some operational issues that’s not their fault. We went during a busy time and it came across a bit chaotic.

The staff was friendly trying to navigate the crowd, but the music was very loud (not chill and relaxing as expected) the tables are super close together and you have to order at the counter then try to find a seat, and then they wait on you at the table anyways. I understand it’s supposed to be a lounge but it’s really coming off as more of a busy restaurant but that could just be the new buzz of it. We’ll give it another go hopefully when it’s less crowded.

The food was excellent and we enjoyed our cappuccinos, they’re traditional cappuccinos which we appreciate. It’s very pretty inside and has a nice outdoor patio. I do recommend giving it a shot but try to lookout for less busy times. We want to come back for the live music as well. I definitely see the vision and appreciate the space in bham!”

“Lee’s is a fantastic addition to the downtown coffee scene! Their menu offers a variety of options, but the classics are good too. I like that you can customize a latte with tons of flavor and add on options. their secret menu is worth checking out too! This will be added to my regular list of places to go and get some work done because they have plenty of space and are open late which I really appreciate!”

“Food this good always takes a little longer get than normal, but definitely worth the wait. The vegan choices are amazing as are the smoothies and juices. We ordered the surprise me sandwich and were quite impressed. Wish we lived here but we’ve found our hole in the wall for future visits”
