We walked across the street to try it.
The shrimp was terrific, Calamari was terrific. Huge portions, I could not eat it all.

I’d recommend this place and will be back for next time I’m in town for Roll Tide Football.“

“I hadn't been in over 8 years. I used to work around the corner. I used to eat there every week. I came home to Alabama and wanted something good. I told my husband about the place. We pulled up, and I told him if it's young people in her there I'm not staying. I opened the door and was elated. The food was amazing just like I remembered.“

“Masa is our absolute FAVORITE place to eat! Our kids LOVE it and the owners treat us like family with warm smiles and big hugs when we come! The food is always excellent with a HUGE sushi menu, we still haven’t tried it all yet but we have loved everything we have tried! Our 6 year olds ask for it all the time! Masa is like our home away from home when we need an excellent meal and don’t feel like cooking!“

“Leaving gym to go eat our prepped dinner when a delightful aroma caught us by surprise. Went to window shop, and could not resist trying something. Staff was friendly and Sam was awesome, throwing in extra sauces and fries I forgot to add.

Then we got the food: it legitimately looks like something out of a dolled up commercial, with a delightful taste to boot. We will 100% be eating here again and recommending friends, thank you Sam and chefs for giving us a great meal and experience!“

“Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!“

“I work for The Dinner Detective and this venue hosts us 2-4 times a month. I cannot brag on the staff enough! From Todd at the door knowing each one of us and doing anything he can to help, to the front desk staff willing to print things for us or locate someone if we need them, to Bill always smiling and being friendly. But the real MVP’s are Jarvis and Damien with the staff that serves the meals and makes sure our guests receive the best experience during dinner. Damien is always there and works so hard. He knows his stuff and makes sure we have everything we need. Jarvis is so friendly and helpful. He has been so patient and dedicated as we have worked in this new partnership and has helped us troubleshoot and work through things all with a smile on his face. Without Damien and Jarvis, we would have been in a mess a few different times. They are amazing! ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This is my favorite restaurant in the Birmingham area- Mr Jack’s crispy chicken is delicious!! They pay attention to details and it comes through in the food they serve. They have it down to perfection!!“

We arrived for a late lunch & noted very few patrons in dining room. Our server, Ian, was friendly & attentive. We enjoyed the fried catfish ( farmed in Mississippi!) and the New Orleans style crab claws in a savory broth. Side salad was fresh & appetizing. The fried okra was some if not the best I've had locally. We also opted for take home desserts....lemon blueberry cheesecake & the bread pudding....both were very good. Looking forward to dining here again! Service was excellent as well.“

The food was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, served in huge portions, and so fresh it had us scraping our plates clean. On top of that, we had the chance to meet the owners, and they are some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. It is clear they put their heart into everything they do. We highly recommend giving Beijing Express a visit. They truly deserve all the support and love. If you're craving amazing Chinese food and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be.
