“We stopped by for a cheese slice on the way back to our car and were so so glad we did. It was easily the best crust I can remember having, not too thick and doughy and not too thin and crackery, with good chew and solid flavor. Even with tax it was only $5 something and the bearded guy at the front was really helpful and friendly even with it being late at night. It's also only 8 minutes from the airport, so a great stop for when you're waiting to pick someone up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.“

The Calabrese salad was exceptional….in fact I recommend it with your pizza so you can soak up the salad oils and balsamic with your perfect pizza crust. Awesome combo there! “I came in today because I had never been before. I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are $0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake. The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice. The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter. The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach. I'll be coming back as much as I can.“

Update: I placed a to go order the other day. I order the Mexican pizza which comes with pepperoni, sausage, jalapenos and chile pepper flakes and I also got a Philly cheese steak sandwich which comes with fries. Both were awesome!!“

“Yum yum yum. I wanted a Pizza. Did I ever get it. I am a west coast girl immigrated from Europe long time ago. I have no clue what a NY pizza is or should be. But fresh ingredients I know (and often do not get in USA! I read reviews in the neighborhood and decided I would give OG a try. I. Has no menu, just called and decided I wanted a pizza with multiple stuff on it. The gentleman said that would be the NY pizza. I said great! 30 minutes later (or less) I almost couldn’t make it the couple of miles home. I could tell by the aroma in my car it was a good pizza. I let my dad be the judge. He gave it a smile and a thumbs up. I now have their little to go menu so next time I can be more specific. Actually I think I found the one I like! If you don’t care for garlic, ask for light because it is fresh and oh so good! The gentlemen only take cash and don’t have a tip jar. That doesn’t mean they will refuse a tip. Eat the pizza hot! Support real pizza makers! This pizza was so superior to others I have had before! How did I not know they were right there? Geez I will certainly go back! I love real and fresh made food! WOW“

Our server Jacee was the absolute best and I truly cannot sing her praises enough. She checked up on us often without making us feel rushed, went and found answers if we had questions she was unsure of, and was all around just fantastic!

The food was REALLY good- we both enjoyed the pizza, wings, and fries. The pizza felt maybe a little overpriced even with the daily special discount, but was still great! My biggest nitpick would probably be the wings- the sauce didn’t really coat the wings so we had to dip them. The sauce itself was fantastic, and the chicken was moist with crispy skin, so still tasty!

We made an order for delivery and the packaging of the pizza was great, the only complaint would be the missing hummus with our pitas, since a few of us were looking forward to trying it. “I am.livid I spent $62 on wings etc on 12/29/22 only to have my son bring me a piece of.chicken with a long curly hair wrapped around it. We are a family of dread loc's and no one has that kind of hair. I called to.rwport it the lady was rude and said that she couldn't do anything about it because nobody here has that kind of hair, when literally she had a foreign language and said she had no.oroof. “Ordered takeout from this spot around my sister's house and honestly, it was good! The flavors were solid, the sauce and toppings came together nicely, and it definitely hit the spot. I mean, nothing beats NY pizza like back home (you know the deal), but this works.

My only real gripe is the dough....it’s a bit stiff and chewy, kinda like cardboard. For me, the perfect crust has that crunch on the outside but still bends when you fold it. That classic New York fold is sacred, and this one was more of a jaw workout than a nostalgic bite. Maybe I’m just being a NY pizza snob, but I’m still out here searching for that slice that takes me back home to Brooklyn.

I threw on some oregano, garlic, and chili flakes (as you’ll see in my pic), and that definitely gave it a nice kick. So while calling it “NY style” might be pushing it a bit, it’s still a decent pie and with a little love for the dough, it could be great.

Now, let's talk about the calzone which earned 5 stars from me. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but one bite in and I was doing a happy dance. It was scrumptious, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of everything. The flavors and textures were so on point that I immediately grabbed my phone to snap a pic of what was left (apologies if it doesn't look as appealing; I couldn't wait). This calzone was the unexpected star of the meal, and I’d order it again in a heartbeat.“
