I’m able to find lots of different foods that suit my dietary restrictions, and their crispy tofu tastes better than a lot of other takeout chicken.“

“I have been living within walking distance of this place for years. Never tried it because im such a picky eater. Decided to walk over there just to try something different.... WOW. Delicious. The most flavorful noddles & stir-fry type dish i have ever had. Steak in it was so great. The Gai Tod fried chicken bites were also delicious with a unique taste. Way better than some run of the mill boneless wings.
The seasonings and flavors on everything were crazy good. Still taste it after the meal is done. Taste like some master chef made you something homemade on a wok on a fire pit. Charred to perfection taste.

One of the better meals I have had in Phoenix. Caught me totally by surprised. Can't believe that was fast food at all. Think this might be a weekly thing for me now. My new favorite.

Staff was exceptionally nice & friendly too. Not crowded. No wait.
Can't beat it. I'm cheap too, but this actually felt worth the tad bit higher prices.
Almost seems silly to have the horrible Chinese takeout, bad pizza places,crappy panda express, or bland Chipotle ever again instead of this place.

“What a great experience. My wife, the poor thing, can never get her order to her right. We have been together a substantial amount of time relative to humans and in that time, twice her food has come out exactly the way she ordered it. Uncanny as it sounds I have been to hundreds of restaurants with her and have witnessed it first hand. I had to tell you that, to tell you this. Everything was excellent and exactly how we wanted it. Our waitress was incredible and I felt welcome because of her smile. You guys are doing great and the entire staff deserves an applause. Thanks everyone. All of your smiles and great attitude made this an evening of good vibes, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere!

If I ever show up and the lemon grass soup or longan mango combo is out for the day because this place blew up I'm coming for you. I need these things in my life or I'm highkey crashing out.“

“I love El Portal. The food is really incredible. It reminds me of my mother‘s cooking. It’s so clean and the flavors are pure. She has passed away for some time now. It is always on point. Muchos gracias El portal.“

“10/10 Fast Casual. 15$ for 2 enchaladas + toppings, a side of cornbread, and a drink. Solid value, I got spinach and mushroom enchaladas, one with red and one with green sauce. The jalapeno corn bread was the highlight.

My faith in fast casual is revived.“

“Shocked how good the food was! Same with the service. Have a food allergy and the server let the Manager know. The Manager came out and asked for details. Then the chef and another cook brought out the food to ensure there was no contamination. Excellence.“

Edit: I want to say that since I have first written this review, I have been there many times with family. I intend to keep coming regularly. Every time we have great service, delicious food (their curries are the best!), and a good experience. Twice now we've gotten free veggie rolls as well. The server is always smiling and friendly, never leaving us wanting anything. Highly recommend!“

“First time visiting this location, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been going to Sacks for years, and the food is always delicious, but today was different.
I was welcomed and greeted by Alissa, and because of this interaction, I will be coming back to this specific location from now on. For the first time in a long time, stopping by for a sandwich was more than just a transactional exchange. Alissa helped me decide when I was torn between options and even convinced me to get a brownie—and I don't even like sweets!
She was patient, helpful, and, excuse my English, she made me feel like she genuinely gave a damn about me as a customer and human. Supporting local businesses, especially restaurants, is important now more than ever, but genuinely good service is an added bonus. You can raise the prices; I’ll understand, and I will still stop by as long as employees like Alissa are part of the experience.
I came for the sandwich and left with much more than I expected, in the best way possible. Management, please thank Alissa for me and let her know she was right—I didn't regret the brownie!

“This is one of our fav local/hidden gems in phoenix since we moved in to the area. Literally, the only place to get an amazing Blended Horchata w/ oat milk too.

They have gluten free sandwiches and options. I'm happy they are so close. I wish they where open during the weekends.

“I like ordering at the kiosk. No rush. Use friendly. The food is fresh and delicious and many choices for food and beverages. The resteraunt is very clean. But what sets this location apart is the staff. From the moment you step in the door, you are met with friendly faces and greetings. The staff was quick to answer questions and recognizing a need for assistance before I could even ask. I felt the staff loved their job and was happy to have me as a customer, and I told them so. I have a friend with cancer and she had many appointments close by, so I expect we will be in many more times in the future.“

“The Pho Bowls are fantastic I was able to get the Special Pho bowl. The service is a bit strange it's a mixture of self serve and having a server. If you're dining in you just sit down at a table and wait for a server, but if you're doing take out you'll just walk up to the back table and wait to have your order taken.
