They swap the English muffin for one of their signature fluffy, golden biscuits—split and topped with hardwood smoked bacon, two perfectly poached eggs, and a rich, velvety Hollandaise sauce that has just the right amount of tang without being overpowering.
The biscuit soaks up the sauce beautifully while staying tender and buttery—way better than the standard muffin version in my opinion. The bacon adds that smoky, crispy edge, and the eggs were cooked spot-on with runny yolks that mix everything together perfectly. I added country potatoes on the side (ask for them instead of hash browns if you want that seasoned, home-fry vibe), and it was the ideal hearty breakfast.
Portions are generous, the price is super reasonable (~$11), and the staff is always friendly and quick even during the busy Ahwatukee weekend rush. This spot nails that comforting, elevated diner feel. Biscuits Benedict is now my new favorite order here—definitely ordering it again next time!

“I have been living within walking distance of this place for years. Never tried it because im such a picky eater. Decided to walk over there just to try something different.... WOW. Delicious. The most flavorful noddles & stir-fry type dish i have ever had. Steak in it was so great. The Gai Tod fried chicken bites were also delicious with a unique taste. Way better than some run of the mill boneless wings.
The seasonings and flavors on everything were crazy good. Still taste it after the meal is done. Taste like some master chef made you something homemade on a wok on a fire pit. Charred to perfection taste.

One of the better meals I have had in Phoenix. Caught me totally by surprised. Can't believe that was fast food at all. Think this might be a weekly thing for me now. My new favorite.

Staff was exceptionally nice & friendly too. Not crowded. No wait.
Can't beat it. I'm cheap too, but this actually felt worth the tad bit higher prices.
Almost seems silly to have the horrible Chinese takeout, bad pizza places,crappy panda express, or bland Chipotle ever again instead of this place.

“The best pad see ew noodles and flavor in the valley and also the best tom yum soup. The service here is so friendly and welcoming and fast and the food is so delicious and big portions and reasonably priced. My partner and I have tried many fast thai spots around the valley in search for the perfect pad see ew and they really nailed it with strong flavor, perfect noodle texture, and best proportions of meat and veggies in it. 11/10!!“

“I love El Portal. The food is really incredible. It reminds me of my mother‘s cooking. It’s so clean and the flavors are pure. She has passed away for some time now. It is always on point. Muchos gracias El portal.“

“10/10 Fast Casual. 15$ for 2 enchaladas + toppings, a side of cornbread, and a drink. Solid value, I got spinach and mushroom enchaladas, one with red and one with green sauce. The jalapeno corn bread was the highlight.

My faith in fast casual is revived.“

“First time visiting this location, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been going to Sacks for years, and the food is always delicious, but today was different.
I was welcomed and greeted by Alissa, and because of this interaction, I will be coming back to this specific location from now on. For the first time in a long time, stopping by for a sandwich was more than just a transactional exchange. Alissa helped me decide when I was torn between options and even convinced me to get a brownie—and I don't even like sweets!
She was patient, helpful, and, excuse my English, she made me feel like she genuinely gave a damn about me as a customer and human. Supporting local businesses, especially restaurants, is important now more than ever, but genuinely good service is an added bonus. You can raise the prices; I’ll understand, and I will still stop by as long as employees like Alissa are part of the experience.
I came for the sandwich and left with much more than I expected, in the best way possible. Management, please thank Alissa for me and let her know she was right—I didn't regret the brownie!

“Why you should visit this Olive Garden: friendly greeting upon entering, decor is like all Olive Gardens warm and the aroma of Italian food. Great service, good food, well laid out with a roomy feel.
I chose to sit at the bar, Emma greeted me with a friendly smile, handed a menu to me and asked about a beverage to start. I chose Calamari as a starter, which was good. Sauces were very good. I asked for a Blue Moon and a water. Emma recommended the Shrimp & Chicken Carbonara (sauce was excellent)!! It came with their house salad and breadsticks which is always good. A lot of food, so I took some home. Emma is very courteous, attentive, making sure I was doing okay, great bartender and server. My overall experience was excellent!! “This is one of our fav local/hidden gems in phoenix since we moved in to the area. Literally, the only place to get an amazing Blended Horchata w/ oat milk too.

They have gluten free sandwiches and options. I'm happy they are so close. I wish they where open during the weekends.

“First timer I got the spicy noodles with tofu. My only complaint is there wasn't a lot of noodles. It was mostly chopped vegetables and bean sprouts. The taste was great. But for 17 bucks for lunch I expected a bigger portion than what I got. I don't think ill be returning.“

“jadiyah + fredi made my DAY today! i got to the front super unprepared for what i wanted to order and jadiyah jumped straight into offering me different options and was super helpful + friendly when i was ordering, then when i made it to the till fredi was super friendly as well + helped me get my reward points when i couldn’t access my app !! i tried offering a cash tip but he said he couldn’t accept it so MAKE SURE you put a tip on the system instead of bringing cash !!! the food was super yummy but the staff definitely made the experience what it was !! thank you fredi + jadiyah !! :)“
