“I’ve been wanting to try this place for several months now but every time it’s been booked. I finally got off work early enough to make it at 5 o’clock. Since I was by myself, I was able to be seated at the bar. The vibe here is incredible! It’s beautifully decorated and nice and cozy. Perfect for a date night. I must bring my husband back here at some point.

As I said, I sat at the bar and Megan the bartender was outstanding! I ordered a drink called Agree to Disagree. I think that was the name. Anyway, it was delicious and because it was happy hour it was half off the regular price of $23. I ordered one oyster and it was fabulous. I only ordered one because I was meeting a group of friends at The Guest House in 30 minutes and I did not want to spoil my appetite.

I can’t wait to come back here so that I can enjoy the full experience with the band. It’s a lovely place and I enjoyed it thoroughly.“

“I just spent my first time going to Ocean 44 and I must say, this is one of the best restaurants I had ever been to. When I took my wife there they really took care of us. Any questions we had about the menu they made sure they walked us through the whole menu so knew how everything works. They took care of us just as good as being at a life loan Doctors office. “Great place to relax and eat by the pool! We ordered the guac and salsa trio and split a grilled chicken sandwich. I also had a Corona. John was our waiter and was very kind. They even brought us two half servings of the sandwich since we were splitting it. Of course, this restaurant is in a very overpriced resort and the menu prices are pretty high. “My wife and I attended the mini Chandler High class of 1983 reunion held at this fine establishment. The day and weather was beautiful to sit outside in the courtyard and visit with old friends. The food was delicious, nothing but rave reviews for everything made in house from the pizza's to the hummus made with cannelloni beans. “We did the 7 course chef’s tasting menu and it was amazing. Robby took care of us that night and he was great! He was very knowledgeable, professional and took our preferences into account. It’s a small intimate setting, with a few indoor tables and outdoor tables. Overall, great service and multi course fine dining experience.“

“My mom made reservations for us at noon, and when it reached 12:15, we still had not had a server acknowledge us or take our drink orders so we waved the first one we saw over. She apologized profusely and took our drink orders even though she was not our waitress. She said she would find out what the issue was immediately. When she returned with our drinks, she apologized again and said there was a miscommunication and our server would be over momentarily. When our actual waiter came over, he also apologized multiple times and was very pleasant. He took our order and was very polite and conversational. When he served us our food, he also brought an additional appetizer (one that I had already eyeballed on the menu but decided against… the melon salad) as an apology for our wait. We had already forgiven him, but this went above and beyond and we were very impressed with the impeccable customer service.

We ordered the filet mignon skewers, served with Mediterranean rice and lentils with a side of chimichurri. It was PHENOMENAL. The flavor blew me away. We also ordered the spicy olive hummus which was also exceptional. And the melon salad that he comped was absolutely delicious.

I wish I remembered our servers name! We were there on 4/6/26 at noon, and we sat in the outdoor area.

Kudos to Pinyon and its staff for making what could have been a disappointing experience into an exceptional one!“

Found out during the end of our meal that she had only been working there for two days. She was as knowledgeable and professional as she could be. She checked back numerous times to see if we needed anything. The brunch burger was amazing. So many flavors inside one bun! The Bloody Mary’s were spot on! We dont live here but if we did this would be a regular spot for brunch, business dinners or just a great date night! One very weird thing however is there is a big white wood wall in the bar area now ( Think She Shed but indoors) 🤔 It completely blocks the windows and natural light and gives the bar a claustrophobic feel. Not good at all. IDK what the heck that is but it needs to go. It kills the diner vibe it makes you feel like you are eating inside of a cargo container with no windows. Update! The She Shed in the bar area is gone! It’s so much better now without it. 🥳“
