I’ve been coming to this Subway for years, mostly because the staff is consistently good. Lately there’s a younger kid working there who always calls me “boss.” I don’t know who raised him, but his energy is honestly impressive.
The other day while we were talking, one of his regulars walked in and he immediately yelled, “Hey, how you doing today, boss?” The guy’s face lit up and he yelled back just as enthusiastically. It was a small moment, but it said a lot.
The food is solid, but the service is what keeps me coming back. Easy 10/10.“

“I love that’s this is a family owed spot. I am a big fan of sandwiches. This sandwich shop is an absolute gem. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding. You can tell they use fresh, and quality ingredients. The flavor combinations are incredible and packed with flavor. They also offer a large variety of options, so there's truly something for everyone, including vegetarian options.

The service was fantastic from the moment I walked in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great experience for their customers. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which I always appreciate.

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.“

“I would go out of my way 10 miles to eat at this location. The ingredients were super fresh. The atmosphere was amazing. The store was super clean and the employee Jason was the most courteous craftsman of sandwichery that I have ever experienced. This was during the busiest time of day and his mastery of multitasking and connecting with each and every customer as they walked in the door with respect and courtesy was astounding! This was by far one of the best sub sandwiches I have had prepared for me in many years. Extremely satisfied!“

“The past couple of times I've eaten here, I used the app to place my order. The time to from submitting the order and time to pick-up the food has been 30 minutes...no biggie. What I find frustrating is that the food has NOT been ready at the appointed time. The crew has to ask who I am multiple times and seem to be scrambling behind the counter to get the food over the finish line. You're better off just ordering in the store.“

“I was so impressed with the food that I immediately told my sister about the Apple Walnut Salad with Basalmic Vinegrette and suggested she bring her husband there for their date night... I can not say enough about how EXTREMELY TASTY that salad was! I also ordered the Cubano sandwich with the works. Now, I was greeted when I came in the door, and the employees were friendly, but it wasn't their friendliness - it was just a little unorganized behind the counter. A gentleman even went around me because he wasn't sure where to pay. I kept waiting for my sandwich and it was ridiculous how no one was doing anything but everyone was 'busy'. I didn't have great hopes after that, but once I got home and tasted the food!!! Wow. Perfection! So be patient and give the young people a chance - and more than likely it will be made up for in some of the best food (particularly the salad) you can have.“

But you wouldn't even know that he was by himself because he kept things completely under control and flowing quickly. “I have completely forgotten this place opened years ago. Four of us met there for lunch. The sandwiches are very good. The hot peppers were very spidey to me, but the flavor was great. The Pot Pie soup was a no. It did not have any thick broth (very runny for a cream soup), and it didn't have the crunchy baked pot pie crust. I love that they have Coke products instead of Pepsi.“

“When I lived in Nebraska, Picklemans was one of few favorite places to get lunch. I was overjoyed when I found out they brought one to the valley. The original Mac 'n' Cheese is a must buy. I normally get the Asiago chicken sandwich, but the bbq pulled pork and smokehouse stack are delicious as well. The atmosphere has a nice classic deli vibe to it. Service is normally good. 9/10 if you're Glendale or Peoria would highly recommend. They also have deals for every day including free kids meals, Mac 'n' Cheese, and BOGO sandwiches.“
