“Food is delicious. Portion size is generous even for the regular size bowl. Staff is always friendly. Orders are always fulfilled fast even in the peak hours. They have reserved parking outside which is great for a fast pickup. I work few minutes away and ordered for pick up few times already - sometimes for me or for the team at the office. Definitely recommend them.“

“Every order is made fresh, so you might be in for a 10-20 minute wait, but boy is it ever worth it!

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich: Very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great flavour, not greasy. Perfectly seasoned. Made with whole meat chicken breast. I had to squish down the sandwich to get it in my mouth. Good quality bun and the lettuce leaf was crisp. I suspect they might be using an egg-yolk only mayo as it tasted rich. I really liked that.

The bacon cheeseburger with extra patty: Deliciously smashed with a great crust, perfect seasoning and juicy. It was a little messy but so good! Good quality bun and the lettuce leaf was crisp.

The fries were piping hot with a crispy battered exterior and fluffy interior. Remained crispy even after cooling down.

Original Korean Fried Chicken (small): Made with boneless-skinless chicken thighs, this was also juicy too and very crispy on the outside.

Every fried item had a clean fresh flavour, so you can tell their oil isn’t old.

The tables and chairs were clean and arranged neatly. Lots of seating options. The place looked like a family run restaurant with nice touches of flowers at the entrance, in the windows and on the walls.

It’s a hidden gem, so I’m glad google maps and the sandwich board sign helped me find the restaurant! The door faces the street and you have to walk to the NW corner of the building, as it’s not obvious.

The staff were friendly and very good at what they did and I would 100% recommend this place and go back in the future.“

“I’ve been here several times and it’s always been fantastic, however I do not recommend coming with a large group.

The food has always been delicious and drinks are good too, but the service was horrendous for a larger group. It took forever to get any service, staff would make eye contact with us when we tried to wave them over, and then just ignore us. There were a lot of staff available just loitering around the bar area and did not come to our aid.

It took a very long time for us to get our bills, and when they finally took it they charged many of us twice or even thrice. Some of us tried to tell the waitress that the first transaction went through, but they insisted we pay again because they got an error on their end. Just a reminder to maybe check your bank statement after to make sure this didn’t happen to you. I don’t think it was on purpose, but still frustrating to deal with.

Other than that the food was delicious. Sooda box remains one of my fav dishes and their cheese corn is great.“

I came to Chibop after discovering their vegan ramyeon combo, and I was so excited to see a Korean restaurant with a dedicated plant-based section on the menu! 🌱💚 They even sell vegan kimchi — which honestly made my vegan heart very happy. 🥹

I ordered the combo with:

🍜 Ra-myeon — 100% plant-based broth with noodles, onions, and green onions.
🥢 Spinach Vegan Kimbap — spinach, cucumber, carrots, yellow pickled radish, bell peppers, burdock, and savory seasoned tofu.

At first, I wondered if I was being a little ambitious ordering both.
😂 But the fresh veggie kimbap was surprisingly light and easy to eat, and the ramen bowl looked a little smaller than I expected (compared to the photos 😉), so thankfully I was able to finish everything. 😋

Bonus points: they were playing K-pop songs while I enjoyed my meal. 🎶✨ A vegan Korean meal with K-pop in the background? Yes please. 😂

I’m so thankful that Chibop offers plant-based options because it makes enjoying Korean food so much easier for vegans. I really enjoyed my meal here, and I’m definitely curious to come back and try their other vegan dishes! 🌱💚“

“Amazing quality for such an unbelievably affordable price!
The kimbap rice was perfectly cooked not too soft or mushy and each roll was generously filled with a variety of ingredients, making every bite delicious and satisfying. The tteokbokki had a great chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, pairing perfectly with the kimbap.
Highly recommend the Tuna Chili Kimbap and the Deep Fried Shrimp Kimbap! Will definitely be coming back again“

Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “If I could give Galbi Korean BBQ 6 stars, I would.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night and expected a wait, it was about 45 minutes but absolutely worth it. We ordered the Chef’s BBQ Combo D, and it was more than enough for all of us to leave completely full. They continuously refilled our sides and sauces, so we were never without anything. Everything felt clean, organized, and really well run.

My personal favourites were the marinated beef short rib, the fresh salad, bean paste soup, scallion salad, and the cheesy corn — all so flavourful and perfectly done.

This is hands down one of the best spots to come with your partner or a group, where you can relax, cook together, and actually enjoy the experience as much as the food. We’ll 100% be coming back. 🔥🥩“

The lunch special that included the assorted marinated seafood, raw fish salad, cockles and rice, cod stew, grilled mackerel, and stone pot rice was fantastic value and it could easily feed 3 people. I came for my birthday and while they do not offer anything special for birthday patrons, they did offer me a drink and the kind service plus delicious fresh and authentic food made the meal really special. I cannot understate how good and fresh everything was. There was absolutely no fishiness to anything and it was a heartwarming meal. We will be going back!“

“Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.“

“One of the best Korean restaurants I have tried so far ⭐️ Absolutely delicious!! It’s insanely good. I was surprised by how rich and flavorful the soup of the tteok Mandu guk was. The portion size was big and there’s a generous amount of strips of brisket which were also tasty. The carbonara tteokbokki was delicious and had a decent portion, the flavor just exploded in my mouth. You can taste the perfect balance of cheese and the spices. The sauce was just soo good.

the servers are always incredibly friendly, and the food is warm, comforting, and genuinely delicious. my partner and i often come here for late-night dinners, and it always hits. we once came two nights in a row, and one of the servers recognized us and seated us at the same table we had sat at the night before LOL

I’ve been ordering the Sundae Gopchang Hotpot here for years, and it never fails to impress. While most common people in the GTA tend to stick to mainstream dishes like Gamjatang or Daeji Gukbap or other jjigae/gukbap, this hotpot is a absolute must-try if you love authentic Korean flavors, sundae, and offal.

Here is why this spot is a long-time favorite:
Incredible Gopchang & Endless Fillings: They are ridiculously generous with the gopchang, and it’s always super soft and creamy—never chewy or tough. The hotpot comes packed with Korean ramen, glass noodles, rice cakes, and sometimes even udon depending on the chef that day. You can order a side of rice if you want, we usually don't cus the toppings are enough.

Massive Portions: The serving size is huge! Even as two big eaters, we almost always end up packing leftovers home for a whole second meal. We reheat with some water and udon and it's perfect!

Customizable Broth: You can easily customize the flavor of your soup to your exact liking. They provide extra seasonings upon request—including salt, saeujeot (salted shrimp paste), spicy paste, and plenty of aromatic perilla powder.

On top of the fantastic food, the service is consistently warm, friendly, and attentive.

The service was excellent. The female staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Definitely 5-star service.

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was affected by the environment. There was a noticeable unpleasant smell coming from the restroom that reached the dining area, which made the atmosphere less enjoyable. I’d rate the environment 2 stars.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and appreciated the great service, but I hope the odor issue can be addressed to make the dining experience even better.“

I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!
