“❤️?? Oh my… goodness!!! This place is a hidden gem in the area. Their portions for the price is honestly a steal! Quality and flavour of the food here is great as well. My coworkers and I discovered this place as our office moved in the area and discovering Mama’s Rice Bowl has blessed our lunchtime ?The only downside is that they close a tad bit earlier than I’d prefer but, it leaves room for us to desire their food all-the-more. Definitely going to add more details when I order from here again!*** Update:Went in person for pickup and the employees are very kind :) They’re located on the inside of their building and there’s no signage on the front of the building that they’re in. The area when you enter and are ordering is quite small but, they do have tables where you can eat your food and “dine in”. I took a picture of my food after one bite because… I couldn’t wait to eat it, sorry it’s not as aesthetic “

“The gimbap, bibimbap, and soondae are my faves here! The owner/staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is clean. I would even say the gimbap here is better than the ones you can get in Korea. They’re loaded with healthy ingredients with minimal rice and well seasoned. Highly recommended!“

“Food was fast and taste good. Even their tiny side dishes was good. Kimchi wasn't that spicy. But it was kind of expensive for lunch. 3 dishes came to $64. Seafood pancake was good, but for $25 that is kind of expensive. Not much seafood and not much veg either. Normally not much seafood should still be a lot of veg. The chicken was good , and the udon was good too. The restaurant was full during lunchtime and there was only 1 waitress and she did everything. Answer the phone for takeout, waiting table, serving the food........ She was a one man band. And we still able to finished our lunch within the hour, impressive.“

“The food is excellent and you can order refills for the side dishes . But keep in mind that the place is small so you might have to wait for a while but it won’t usually take too long. Most of the food is spicy so if you don’t prefer spicy food then you might have to tell them to make the food without the spicy stuff.“

“Went here to try their dakgalbi as I was craving for it after I returned from Korea. I wasn't disappointed and it tasted like what I had there.Foods were amazing and staff are friendly.I was specially surprised at their cream onion chicken. It was really good. Crispy, jiucy, and HUGE servings. And the SAUCE and the ONION were delicious! My new favourite Korean place.“

“I can't give them anything less than 5, just because of how friendly the staff are and how incredibly delicious the chicken was. The radish was also absolutely amazing as well.Good job to the people back in the kitchen. The only downside was that they did not put any fork, joystick or napkins in the bag, even tho it was take out. C'mone guys, how much are you saving with doing this?“

“The owner is very friendly and explains very well the different options. Food is tasty but the serving amount could be bigger. Notice that if you're not used to spicy(hot) food even the food that the owner claims is not spicy at all will be very spicy for you.“

“The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The chicken I ordered as an appetizer also exceeded my expectations. The soft tofu was easy to eat because it wasn't overly seasoned. You can also have a combo menu with mackerel, and the price was reasonable, which was nice.“

“It's okay and interesting. The sauce is creamy and rich, but the tappoki in carbonara is quite bland. The chicken is really good! It's juicy, well-battered, and tender. However, I found it unpleasant that the server asked for payment TOO EARLY because I was trying to enjoy my meal and chatting with a friend. The meal was just served about 8 minutes and we haven't finished it yet.“

“The only issue was that the server wasn’t speaking English very well so they got my order wrong but they were really nice about it and changed it for me. The food was very fresh and delicious. It’s a little over priced compared to other Korean restaurants but very good quality.“

“Excellent location to grab some delicious Korean-style fried chicken for take-out. The seasoning and texture for the original flavor are just right, tender meat inside and not overly crunchy skin outside. Recommended to call and order ahead of time to avoid waiting for up to 20 minutes in your car.“

“For grilled chicken, we ordered Secret BBQ, Honey Butter Garlic Fries and Roseto! They also added rice cakes and ramen to the roasted chicken! It’s really delicious! The roasted chicken is so delicious and juicy! The cheese flavor of Rosetto is really strong! However, I felt a little tired towards the end of the meal. There was no waiter to be found throughout the entire journey, and the service was average. The price is really super cheap! Less than 20 before tip!“

“I found out about the place from a friend. We came as a group and we are truly happy with the food. They are tasty and the price is pretty decent and affordable. You will have a variety of Korean food choices. We were welcomed the moment we entered and the persons who served us were also very accommodating. We didn’t really wait long and the wait is really worth it. It is a best place to hang out with friends, colleagues and family to share sumptuous food. Highly recommended to those enjoy eating and hang out together. Surely will come back here and bring friends.“

“This is a very good sushi place. One of the advantages it has for me is that it's open later than the other places so you can actually get sushi after 9:00 p.m. well all the sushi is very good and quite fresh. They have a huge selection of rolls. I highly recommend the grouse mountain roll. I also really liked the tuna tataki “

“It's so delicious~But if you want to order, you have to wait a long time, and if you forget something and they don't give it to you, you have to wait a long time again. The space between tables was too narrow to allow conversation.“

“I use the seasoned chicken here because it is delicious. The staff are also friendly. Every time I order fried food, it tastes dry, so I tried it with green onion chicken this time and it was delicious.Parking: The parking lot isn't particularly crowded unless it's lunchtime on a weekday. Because it is a place where shops are gathered, there are plenty of parking spaces.“

“During the Bite of Burnaby Contest period, we dined at MIDAM KOREAN BISTRO in Burnaby. For $65.00, we enjoyed their contest menu, which featured Stir-fried garlic sauce chicken on a UFO grill (a fun experience with incredibly juicy chicken), Assorted Fishcake Soup (the generous portion with plenty of fishcakes), rice, side dishes, and a delightful Korean-style Oreo Shaved Ice--Bingsoo 빙수 for dessert (a refreshing and melt-in-your-mouth treat). It was a flavorful journey that easily satisfied two people. In addition, we couldn't resist trying their Pan-fried Crispy Pork Belly on Creamy Rosé Pasta. We really enjoyed its uniqueness and the flavours. The ambiance at MIDAM KOREAN BISTRO is very relaxed. It boasts a spacious and trendy environment. The chefs really get creative with their dishes, offering a variety of casual and fusion Korean food. Yummy!??Food: ???? Should Try!Service: ????????Kids: ???? “Ordered from here for the first time after hearing great reviews and I was not disappointed. I ordered from Uber Eats and the food arrived 30minutes prior to the scheduled time and was fresh, hot and tasty and a very food portion size. I’ll definitely be trying out more items from their menu.“

“Great food and great service! I ordered the bbrinkle boneless chicken with the fried rice cakes, and they were very tasty! The chicken was juicy and had lots of flavour. The rice cake was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The service here was very fast and nice. They provided a good variety of side dishes and it tasted fresh!“

“It was our first time visiting this place, and with such a vast menu. we weren't sure what to order. We asked the server for some recommendations and she kindly explained everything and the Snow onion chicken and Soy garlic green onion chicken she suggested were outstanding!!!The beer we had with the chicken was also excellent. It's a Korean restaurant where you can experience friendly staff and delicious food!!“

“Really great food! Came here for lunch and we ordered a whole feast! My favorite was the beef and clam knife cut noodles. The clam broth was mild and fresh while the beef broth was more flavorful. Both went well with the chewy knife cut noodles. Fried chicken was seasoned perfectly. Seafood pancake was disappointing, it was overcooked and texture became rubbery. Service was mediocre but mind you they were super busy.Different from a typical food court setting, you line up to order first and then they guide you to your table as some tables are reserved for the other food stalls.“

“The daeji gukbap is definitely the best thing to order from here. It was absolutely delicious even for people who aren't familiar with Korean food. It was very filling and side dishes were delicious ?. The soup has a deep bone broth flavour to it and is not strong because you are meant to season your own bowl to taste. Seasonings are provided in a cute container and it was so good we made plans to come here again! Furniture is a bit old and our chair wobbled a bit, but it wasn't an inconvenience.“

“Went there for Friday lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday, party of 4. First time back since their renovations and it's now brighter and more spacious, giving an inviting atmosphere. We had the lunch set A and lunch set C and an order of the soya sauce marinated salmon rice. All the food was delicious with great portions. We especially enjoyed the marinated raw crab and shrimp, the assorted sashimi, and bulgogi. Service was great, and ordering and asking for anything was very easy with the tablet at tableside for ordering and requesting anything from the servers.“

“The food and the service are really good. The price is very reasonable.Th fried chicken is so yummy and I loved the spicy seafood soup. The portion wa so big that two of us couldn't finish the whole thing. The atmosphere could be better, sme renovations might help a bit but it's not something that will stop me of going there again.I would definitely go there again to have that yummy fried chicken and the spicy noodle soup ?The black beans noodles dish was also delicious. The noodles in both dishes were very good felt like a homemade noodles.“

“More like a self-serve place. Ordered the golden original and snowing cheese chicken. The golden original is the best. The batter was spot on and chicken was juicy. And oil doesn't taste bitter where some other places reuse it so much it affects the quality of the food. The snowing cheese tasted more...sweet. The fries were good, reminded me of Costco fries. Had the mushroom burger. It was done right. Nothing bad about it. Washroom was clean. Only odd thing is they do not have high chair, so my toddler had to sit on the adult chair. I would still go back, just for the golden fried chicken .“
