“Jake was our server. His second week working and you can definitely tell the effort he is putting into it. Obviously being more confident with the menu could have provided a smoother experience, but that comes with time. As a previous restaurant leader, it would be a pleasure to have him on my team of servers.”
“Alicia was one of the best servers I’ve ever met; she was very friendly and easygoing, so chatting with her was a great delight.”
“Hidden gem! Food was fantastic. The owners were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our night at Ceyanne. Would highly recommend this bistro.”
“We ordered beef noodle soup and chicken fried rice. The price was reasonable and the portion was huge so you’ll really get more bang for your buck. Their tea was so nice and the service was awesome. I love my beef noodle soup. The both is tasty and the beef is very tender. I will definitely come here again.”

“Crab pho $26, totally worth it in my opinion the most unique immaculate, perfect broth I’ve ever had. I love the tapioca noodles, bonus for the deep fried soft shell crab, so good love the crunchy texture with the warm broth.! actual chunks of crab also in the soup! I’m a big eater and I couldn’t finish it all, so I would definitely come back to try more dishes”

“Best dim sum in the neighbourhood 👍”
“I have tried several sushi places around town and I have to say Sushi modo is one of the best ones I have been to. I have been to the place multiple times now and it never disappoints.”
“This place was amazing the food is out of the world will be gong back”
“I love Sushi On. Ordered sashimi platter, spicy agadashi tofu, and aburi salmon for dinner. Paid about $80 for 2 persons with tip.
Ambiance was nice. Went there on a Monday so it was not as busy. Service was friendly and pleasant.
Parking on a Monday night was easy too.”

“Dropped in for a very late lunch. Lots of street parking is available. Their nice patio stands out among the ageing businesses nearby. Seating inside is minimal as a lot of their business is takeout.
Shared the Feijoada which was hearty, filling and unctuous. This is blue collar food at its best. We also had Bolina de Queijo - who can resist deep fried cheese covered in batter! and Beef Rissoles which were good.
Rounding out our meal was the delicious and thirst quenching fresh squeezed juices. We had an orange juice and an açai juice.
However, the absolute stars of their menu are the house made chocolates. We each had one and oh, swoon!! These cannot be missed!
We also took home a banoffee mousse and a chocolate passion fruit mousse and had these a day later. Highly recommend these as well!
Thank goodness we don’t live really close or we’d be dessertaholics 😄”
“Food was very tasty and their bbq was really good! I loved the Taiwanese sausages and the pork belly. However their portions are pretty small so make sure to order lots if you’re with a bigger group. We also ordered the lamb fried rice and a fried noodle dish but they were super oily although the flavour was good. Service was good and they also have a side bar with free dishes like chips and seaweed. Also a sauce bar for the bbq and food with variety of options!”

“We've dined at No. 1 Beef Noodle for dinner several times, but this was our first time trying their breakfast, and it was quite a pleasant surprise! Normally, the dinner crowd and long queues deter us, especially with kids who aren’t keen on waiting. Opting for breakfast turned out to be a delightful decision.
The breakfast menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of choices and different combinations that cater to diverse tastes. We tried the pork chop with black pepper sauce, and it was excellent—perfectly cooked with a flavorful sauce that really hit the spot. The highlight of our visit was the special 11% discount offered in celebration of November 11, which was an unexpected bonus that made our meal even more enjoyable.
If you're a fan of their dinner menu, I highly recommend giving No. 1 Beef Noodle’s breakfast a try for a tasty and more relaxed experience. The ample choices and great food are sure to start your day off right!”
“Atmosphere and service was great, order when you're ready from a tablet right at the table. The smoked chicken was great, awesome smoke flavour that's hard to get elsewhere. The fried chicken was good, but not what I think of when I want Korean Fried Chicken. Definitely would go back.”

“Great service as always! Newest and cleanest HDL location as well. My kid loves the face changing show, noodle dancing and no need to mention the fun toys that keep him busy! It is also my favorite family friendly restaurant that has near zero sodium/sauce option for a healthy meal! Recommend to all families with kids!!”
“Family run restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine from the Abruzzo region. Handmade pastas, gluten free. Fresh and delicious.
Parking: Small lot at back and restaurant, and street parking. Bus stop is close by if you’re taking transit.
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry, tables at the front.”
“We love this location for large group events as they are always very accommodating. There’s lots of free parking in the shopping complex and centrally located.
The service and staff were great and the food never disappoints. There is something for everyone to choose from the menu and don’t forget to save room for dessert.
Prices have gotten a little higher but that’s with everything out there these days.”
“We were visiting from out of town and stopped at Cactus Club for my partners birthday dinner. We are so happy we chose Cactus as the food and service were great!
We were lucky to have Ghayass as our server and they were amazing! Very attentive and made our birthday celebration feel special. Huge shout out to Ghayass!
For food we started with the calamari and it was amazing, I could have eaten a large entree sized portion of just this! We also got a green goddess salad that was great and the bolognese pasta which was really good.
We ordered a crème brûlée for desert and Ghayass made it special by bringing it out with a happy birthday message and a candle, thank you so much! The dessert was amazing!
Overall a great experience!”
“Over all…the hotpot was good…lots of choices…
Dim sum…was very limited 2 or 3 choices…and slow to get refilled…
I was disappointed that my 10 and 14 year old child had to pay the full adult price of 52$ each, as this location based it off height…and not age…
If your planning to go with your kids…personally I don’t think it’s worth it…
As well…please be advised…if your planning to pay by credit card…they will charge you a 2% fee…unless you do their survey…in which case they will wave the 2% fee”
“A hidden gem for Taiwanese food that deserves more hype! Went for the boiled fish with pickles combo for two and got a feast—boiled fish soup, beef bulgogi, crispy fried tofu, plus tea and veggies (not pictured because we were too busy eating). Cozy vibes, friendly service, and flavors that hit the spot. Definitely coming back for round two!”
“Small resteraunt with a convenient location next to the laugheed mall.
Food was well prepared and well presented.
I would highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch.”
“Very delicious. The offal is very clean. It tastes good. The portion is large and clean. The service is very good. I will eat here when I come to Burnaby in the future.”

“Hey, its afternoon time, tired from classes, I just went to this subway near metrotown mall, I would say a crew member named Kajal, was super nice and very patient even it was busy. I loved service there, do visit this subway station for great service and super delicious subway!!!”
“Subway isn't just about food—it's a journey of flavor and freshness. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with vibrant, crisp veggies and warm, freshly baked bread that’s perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The customization options are endless, letting you build your sandwich exactly how you want it. Whether you're craving classic turkey or an adventurous veggie masterpiece, there’s a perfect combo for everyone.
The staff, including Nitin, are friendly and efficient, crafting each sub with care and speed, making you feel like a VIP. And when you take that first bite, it’s pure bliss—crunchy veggies, melted cheese, and the perfect blend of flavors that leaves you satisfied and craving more.
Subway is more than a meal; it’s an experience.”
“I usually come here twice a week after my workouts for lunch, and Parvinder is the manager and she's amazing!
... very very good friendly helpful and really knows her stuff!
She and her staff keep the restaurant in very clean condition too, bathrooms are very nice and clean too which is important. Good job team!
my favourite Subway- location ??”
“This is hands down one of the best A&W locations we've ever been to! We always come here, and every single time, the staff treats us with so much kindness. Everyone working here always has a smile on their face, which makes the experience even better.
The food is always fresh, tasty, and served piping hot. What really stands out is their exceptional service—they always bring the food right to your table, and they never ask for tips. That level of care and hospitality is truly mind-blowing!
Highly recommend this A&W location to anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 😊🍔🍟”
“This is an ayce/ all you care to eat place. Good place to lounge, study, and get stuff done. Lots of different food stations (sandwich, sushi, salads, bowls, grill, pasta, pizza, burgers) to try. Make sure you go early so you can try all the options because some items, once they're gone, they don't refill them. There's also soup, fountain drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, pastries.”
“Delicious order: mcdouble, junior chicken, and fries! Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful.
We ate in the restaurant for a change, and the tables were all cleaned very well.
The employees even come around to grab your garbage when you're done and ask how the meal was! Amazing service :)”
“Large, open, noisy (not annoying, adds a bit of zest in fact). The seafood tower is excellent value. Our servers (Harlan is the only name I remember) was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Four of us had a great time.”

“New Management!!
It was a shame that there weren't many Korean restaurants near Edmonds, but it's a delicious place that's just right without being salty :) This place is run by the owner of Angel Food, which is famous for its cost-effectiveness and taste in Lougheed! All of the leftovers are delicious, and the ‘Han Sang’ menu is really good value for money (first of all, the taste is basically guaranteed). Although the menu changes every day, it’s a shame that I can’t eat the menu on other days, but I think I’ll come here more often! It's not a review event at all. I really like the owner's food so I wanted to spread the word to many people haha. Please try it at least once.”

“The Taiwanese hot pot in Burnaby has a very authentic taste. It has many menu choices, fresh ingredients, bright store lights, and friendly service. It is also worth mentioning that the store is also very kind to children and will give children stickers, which is also good for parent-child customers. Highly recommended. Would love to visit again.”
“Love the suffle pancake! A neighborhood gem. I'm a fan of this place already but today I also placed a catering order for my kids party and I was so impressed with the whole experience.
I ordered multiple orders of their morning croissants, some fruit tarts, cookies and croissants. The food was great and we've received so many compliments from our guests. Both the kids and adults love it!”
“Well my brother insisted I come here with him for lunch and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty, coming out piping hot. The service was friendly, professional, and everything was spot on. The food portions were generous and the menu had a decent selection of items to choose from. Prices here are reasonable and competitive with other restaurants of the same type. I would like come here again and explore the menu further, give it a try and post what you think.”
“We hosted our wedding at Mintara on Burnaby mountain in September and have nothing but rave reviews! If you are thinking of hosting your wedding here - do it!
Carissa and the rest of the Mintara team were so helpful, caring and truly went out of their way to make sure us and our guests had the best day. Throughout the planning process, Carissa was so responsive in answering any questions we had, but also making recommendations to ensure our day was smooth. Also the food was delicious - and we received so many compliments from our guests! 10/10 wedding venue :)”
“The fish options are very yummy and the staff is friendly. The food is fresh. Highly recommended! ?
Parking: Many parking slots inside crystal mall.
Kid-friendliness: They have non spicy option. There are candies for kids.”

“Hands down, best pizza I have had in BC. It pushed a Vancouver joint to #2. The dough is crispy, chewey, fluffy and simple but amazing all at the same time. This place is not like other wood fires , it’s very different. Hot honey sauce, fire. 🔥 I have tried fungi, Margarita, chorizo, crispy P, and I cannot eat at other places ever again. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“Outstanding food! We popped in here with a bit of hesitation because of the promotion signage out front. It was Green bean and lamb and draft beer 2 for 1. Each day there is a different 241 dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, with a two level open concept room with sky lights and lots of windows. Chairs and tables are comfy and there was a nice light jazz playing. We ordered the 2 for one dish of the night and it actually came with 2 for 1 draft beer!
I was surprised when we got a lovely little bowl of the most aromatic mushroom soup as a starter. Our beers arrived next, followed up by the main, which was an exquisite combination of flavours and textures. The napkins were high quality disposable and there were candles on each table. Service was really great and both servers had fantastic sense of humours!
Highly recommend this place and will be back to try other dishes.”
“We had an amazing experience here! The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us feeling more than satisfied. The ambiance added a perfect touch, making our meal even more enjoyable. And the service? Absolutely top-notch! Attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience!”
“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. I will definitely will be returning . Added a picture, this is after 3 people eating Big pieces and loads left ... Go visit this place . You won't regret it !!!”
“Hidden gem in Burnaby North, best Japanese/Korean venue on Hastings in Burnaby. Definitely the best tempuras in Lower Mainland that I've ever eaten; light and crispy thin batter, not greasy at all. Restaurant overall cleanliness well maintained, convenient parking, exceptionally pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommended for anyone wishing a happy meal with friends or families for reasonable pricing for similar venues in area.”
“We came here for a friend's 40th birthday because she enjoys the food, but the server today wasn't really up to the usual standard. She didn't seem to like her job and barely smiled. The other servers were great though, they commented on our balloons, the energy and our outfits!
We ordered a few dishes, the rigatoni being my favourite (flavourful and big portion). The ravioli was overcooked and dry with veey little sauce, and the bolognese was bland. The Boscaiola was my second fav dish, mainly because I love mushrooms and it was cooked very well. Creamy and delicious.
We also ordered appetizers. The calamari was tasty and had some fried zucchinis and bell peppers, which were a nice touch. The trio dip was also 👌🏻 except that they need to provide extra pita for the large amount of dips.
Overall the experience was good, except we hoped for a better server to make it better.

“The best breakfast/brunch sandwiches and burgers! My all-time favorite is the breakfast mushroom ciabatta combo add jalapeño —totally worth it. I could eat it every day, though I have to watch my calories 😂. The jalapeño ciabatta is also amazing, and adding mushrooms takes it to the next level. The vegetarian and chicken burgers are also delicious! There was one time when the egg was a bit dry and the hashbrowns were cold, but it's all good—stuff happens. I mentioned it nicely to the staff, and ever since then, the sandwiches have always been beyond perfection. It’s clear that the team takes feedback seriously, and their attention to detail really shows in the consistency of the quality. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff at both the drive-thru and the counter. I love the location, and they always greet you with a smile. Big kudos to the team. Triple O’s: Outstanding service, O(Awe)some food, and Overjoyed customers. Thanks for the overwhelming experience! 😊🍔✌🏻”
“Just a small Starbucks at Safeway and some staff working there were not very welcoming or trained to properly serve some basic stuff, but it depends on the day you go there.
The majority of the time is your basic Starbucks level of service. Nice drinks, warm food, and good service overall.”

“Really cute cafe with a light and airy atmosphere! Great choice of desserts that are so pretty they would make good gifts. Had a salmon-avocado sandwich and an iced Spanish latte. The latte was really pretty with huge ice cubes and a cardboard cuff on the cup that was hand stamped with the cafe’s cute logo, giving it an artisanal feel. The flavour was well balanced and custardy with a dessert-like feel. The salmon sandwich was huge and wrapped in paper so it was easy to eat. It was really fresh with delicate flavours, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. While I really enjoyed it, I found it a little too sweet for my taste and was not a big fan of the cinnamon in the pickles, however, this was a matter of personal taste. The cafe is spotlessly clean and a great place to study, work or meet with friends. The staff were really friendly and attentive.”
“We tried one of everything. Our favourite was the cinnamon brown sugar pancake!
Very hot and no waiting - treats are fresh off the grill. We tried the taiyaki place upstairs as well but this one won out by a long shot (although the other one was good, it was double the price and long wait as the taiyaki were made to order).”
“An online order for some reason sent it to this location instead of one closer to me. When I called, the girl explained that the Doordash drivers were refusing to deliver it because it was a 15 min drive away (instead of 8 min). The staffer organized another driver and made a fresh pizza to deliver it. Overall it took about 3 hours total from order to arrival, but the staffer did her best to manage the situation. Big thanks to her!”
“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! Keep it up and we look forward to seeing what is released in years to come. If you have not checked it out. Stop by , you wine be disappointed”
“Jess was a superstar for our group tonight.
We always enjoy coming into the Browns Brentwood.
Thanks Jess! And the whole Browns team!”
“"Light, fluffy waffles and crepes loaded with colorful, fresh fruits—ideal for a refreshing breakfast or dessert."”
“Perfect campus bar, great selection of local beers and domestic. Love the tuesday happy hour with cheap local beers. Courtney, Ursula and Raj always makes it a good time to come here. Gonna miss Biercraft when i have to go back home!”

“With so many Japanese food options on Hastings, this is THE place to go eat or order from.
The food quality is TOP notch, the service is awesome, the variety of offering is great, pricing is on par with other restaurants. And the value is outstanding.
Consistently providing great sushi, we’ve been order or dining in for the past 2 years.
Our favs are the staples: Avocado roll, Tuna roll, Sockeye Sashimi roll, Tuna & Sockeye Sashimi etc.
And for fun try the DejaVu or Geisha Roll when you can… LOVE IT
Kid-friendliness: The customize their rolls to cater to kids preferences .. my daughter hates mayo, so Shen will not put mayo in their roll for her”
“Our family of 10 just landed back in Vancouver ag 5pm after 4 days in California. We were hungry and didn't know what to eat. Good thing Happy Lamb Hot Pot could accommodate us! Food and service here has always been good since we have been eating here for the past 10+ years.
$30-$40 per person all you can eat is worth it. Compared to California where each meal we paid $20-$30 USD per person per meal! It's good to be back where Vancouver has the best variety of food at descent price.
Here they have deep fried chicken wings and lamb/pork bones ready to eat if you are hungry and can't wait for you hot pot food to come out.
Parking: The CIBC parking is from 8am-5pm underground, but you can park there after 5pm.”
“Decent sushi, chinese run. The toro is a bit lower quality than other restaurants for the price point but the unagi quality is to die for. Overall decent sushi and great quality.”
“My new fav spot for sushi! It’s so cozy inside and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve met. I got a takeout tray and everything was very fresh and high quality.”
“This was a cool experience and food was very tasty. My favourite was the sooda box!! Definitely come here with friends as portions are big for one or two people.”
“Great foods, very attentive service, will definitely come back more often since it’s so close to home!”
“This is a very unassuming location, a small restaurant that is tucked away at a corner of a strip mall, almost out of sight. But, what a discovery!
The food was amazing, with fresh ingredients, great quality of seafood used, and nice portions. I had the Aburi Inari Sampler and the Ebi & Gyu Don, and they were both delicious. Flavourful combination of dishes that I haven’t tried before in other Japanese restaurants.
Customer service was very friendly and courteous from start to finish. Overall, this is a hidden gem that I am very glad that I discovered. Very lovely place.
Parking: Not a lot of spots available in the parking lot, but there is some street parking nearby.”
“I usually don't write google reviews but we had wonderful experience in Hart House Restaurant today so here I had to give 5 stars to them. I've been to Hart House few times for last few years and they have been always the best. So grateful that they adore my lil pup every time. Thank you for the great service and nice food as well!”
“We ordered 6-7 items, and they were all fresh and delicious. Very authentic! My wife and I tried this place for the first time today, it's walking distance from our place, so we'll definitely be back. It's just unfortunate they close so early, otherwise I'd be there for dinner regularly! Highly recommend”

“Will see lots of figure in the bar area
Lunch special is nice ($14)
Deluxe sushi combo ($33) worth the price!
Would be more happy if there r more choices for the lunch special”
“Wonderful food and such friendly hospitality - was glad to finally experience what my friends have talked about for years.”
“Im soo happy my friend found this chic resto! Great service as well! Very kind and patient server..”
“Great atmosphere and service. A bit too pricy for some items as they're similar quality ingredients as other large sushi places, but "dressed up".”
“I tried their palak paneer , mixed vegetables , karahi paneer , Kari pakora etc . Tasty food . Focus on hygiene . Staff friendly . Mostly women working here . Restaurant seen busy all the time .”
“Dee-licious!!! 🤤😍💕 Definitely recommend the cheese fried rice. Great for dates, family dinners, or a casual drink + meal.”
“Great service! The hosts were kind and accommodating , our server was engaging with the menu, and the food was hot, delicious, and delivered quickly. Can’t ask for much more.”
“For lunch, I had deluxe sashimi, a BC roll, a dynamite roll, agedashi tofu, and tempura udon. Everything was fresh and delicious. The place felt a bit small inside, but it was still a nice lunch.”
“Me-N-Ed's is hands down the best family pizza spot in Burnaby! The food is incredible, and my absolute favorite is The Juliet pizza—it never disappoints! Every item on their menu is a winner, making it our go-to for our hockey team dinners and celebrations.
What truly sets Me-N-Ed's apart is their unwavering support for youth sports teams. Their generosity to the community is unmatched, and it's heartwarming to see a restaurant give back in such a meaningful way.
Huge shout out to the owner, Melody, for her warmth and generosity. If you’re looking for a family-friendly restaurant with fantastic food and service, Me-N-Ed's is the place to be - you’ll leave with a full stomach and a happy heart!
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options! ??
Kid-friendliness: Best place for families and kids!”

“Beef Tataki, Chawanmushi, an assortment of quality sashimis, we always have a great meal here. Price is definitely on the high end side but you get what you pay for.”
“All the menu are pork. I am Moeslem can’t eat pork. I can only eat vegetables with noodle and salmon with noodle. 🙏🙏🙏”
“Simply the best Japanese restaurant in greater Vancouver. Been here for a few years and always deeply satisfied. Cozy ambience and attentive service. Tried a new dessert tonight—the miso caramel cheesecake was such a delight!”
“The kimchi and kimchi that came as a side dish was really crazy. It's torn into long strips to make it easier to eat. It was so delicious that my companion and I refilled it. We also heard that they sell it separately (in one container for $20 before tax), so we bought it. The main menu was okay, but the kimchi was really delicious. Thier house made kimchi served as a side dish is the best one I had in Canada. Sweet and spicy. and cut well enough to eat. We had to ask for a refill as we loved it so much. If you ask the server, their kimchi is available for takeout for $20. Had to buy one.”
“We absolutely love their chicken wings and clear broth noodle soups (chicken or pork). It's a cozy little Malaysian joint.”
“The richness n texture of foods we ate were excellent. It was good ,wonderful👍”
“Wonderful dinner experience, best lamb souvlaki I've ever had. Plus the service is exceptionally good and authentic, not over the top "tip-nice."
Shout out to Mikaela and Suzette (My Captain, My Captain).
Cheers”
“Hidden gem in Burnaby North, best Japanese/Korean venue on Hastings in Burnaby. Definitely the best tempuras in Lower Mainland that I've ever eaten; light and crispy thin batter, not greasy at all. Restaurant overall cleanliness well maintained, convenient parking, exceptionally pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommended for anyone wishing a happy meal with friends or families for reasonable pricing for similar venues in area.”
“Always have an amazing experience. Very cozy vibe and delicious food. The owner is always extremely kind and always is there to help when needed. Quickly became my favourite place to eat late night hotpot.”
“We had a family dinner this is the second one and there was plenty of food and everyone enjoyed it I would do it again in a minuite. Excellent!”
“Went there for a local band play, shout out to the food that really stood out. Waiters were super friendly. During live music, we couldnt hear each other well, they were patient and smiley checking everything was ordered correctly.”
“Hosting our wedding at Riverway was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It is such a beautiful and centrally-located venue. The ceremony space is right by the water and is truly so stunning in the summer. The indoor reception space is large with wooden beams and natural lighting, which meant we didn’t have to invest in as much décor as well as it was already naturally beautiful. Bradley is such an incredibly kind and patient person – we had so many questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and he answered all of them in such a timely and thoughtful manner. He was so helpful for our rehearsal as well and he even checked in with us in-person on the day of, to congratulate us and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We feel so lucky that we worked with Bradley for the wedding – even though he must deal with so many couples, he definitely made us feel cared for and was a big reason for why we were so happy with our venue choice.
Additionally, because the venue is owned by the City of Burnaby, we really appreciated that there were no hidden fees that we had to account for such as administrative fees, taxes, or service charges. The bartending and event staff were also very attentive and kind, and the buffet line ran very efficiently despite that we had 200+ guests. We got so many compliments from our family and friends on how beautiful the wedding was and most importantly, how delicious the buffet was (in particular, the mashed potatoes, striploin, and sticky toffee pudding). We feel so lucky that we were able to snag a spot in the summer for our wedding at Riverway – it is definitely one of the best venues in Metro Vancouver and we would highly recommend it to any couple!

“We were staying at the hotel while my hubby had heart surgery and ate there our first night. THE FOOD AT ATMOSPHERE IS AMAZING!! The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! She had my order ready so fast! No questions asked! It was very busy in there for a Wednesday night! You guys are awesome. Thankyou again! We will be back to the hotel Accent Inn and Bin 4!”
“This is a higher priced Chinese restaurant, but the quality and proportions make them worthy.
Every meal that we have had here has been fantastic. The flavors are always on point, and there is plenty to go around.
Our favorite dishes are the Peking Duck 2-way with Lettuce Wrap, the Salted Fish & Chicken Fried Rice, the Roasted Chicken half, and my little ones love the Crab Claws with Shrimp Paste.
Since we do not live here, the price is worth it for the few opportunities we get to enjoy the amazing Chinese food in Vancouver.”
“Had one of those meals that made you leave feeling happy and satisfied. Came on a Saturday night and the place filled up quickly and the K-pop music made the space lively (our 2.5y/o daughter kept dancing the whole night). Food wait was around 30 minutes, but when it came, everything came! The spicy beef intestine hot pot was awesome if you like organs, very well-seasoned. Everyone loved the seafood pancake, which was very crispy and had a loads of filling. Japchae portion was huge and very tasty. My favorite was the bossom and jokbal (braised pork hock) dish! Super tender, gelatinous and flavorful, highly recommend. The kettle Vanmak makgeoli helped us wash down all that food, which we had to pack half of it to go. Great meal and value, will definitely return!”
“that was honestly one of the tastiest breakfasts I've ever had .. the pulled pork benny was delicious!!”
“The food is amazing, I was happily surprised. The staff are nice and welcoming. Small and cute sit down restaurant. Price was a bit on the higher side. Overall 5/5 for taste. Must try spot”
“I was happy to see a Sushi Restaurant back again. Even meaning to try it out, so stopped in last week to grab a menu. Decided to try it out for a late lunch today. I am so glad I did. The decor is very nicely done, and the atmosphere is friendly and intimate(although I did takeout, but just giving my impressions). The staff was super friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was spectacular, and as I had ordered a lunch special, the value for the amount I spent was great. I will be going back...often. I think it was only $13.95 for "Vege Set A", and it was a filling meal. It came with Miso Soup, Salad, 6pc Yam Tempura Roll, and 8pc Vegetable Roll. I tried something different in going with Veggies, but that Vegetable Roll will be on my next order for sure.
Thanks so much, Haku Sushi for a great meal at an awesome price, which has become rare to find in this day and age.
Vegetarian options: The 8pc Vegetable Roll was simply awesome. It had Cucumber, Avocado, Pickled Radish, and Pickled Squash. It was very tasty and flavourful.”
“Walked in and was seated immediately.
The wall has all the house specials. The menu on the other hand is a QR code on the table. You choose what you want and give the order to the waitress.
I decided to get their Hot Snow Onion Chicken. She also brought over some water. The water container was cute and I liked the music.
The restaurant was very active with a lot of customers. I like when a restaurant is semi full. Just enough people to get good food but not too much rush.
Waitress Kim was also super nice and very professional. A rare combo.
The food came and it looked amazing.
The pink radishes were so tasty and the onions so crispy.
The chicken though, it was a revelation. Most assuredly top 5 Korean chicken dishes I were ate. The white sauce cut the spiciness of the chicken so so good.
9.5 / 10
Will definitely come again”

“Amazing food and service ! The Korean Glass noodles and the BBQ Beef Ribs are sooo good !”
“Noon and Rayhoon persian restaurant delivers high quality, generous portions, and affordable prices. It stands out as the premier choice in the Burnaby area, surpassing competitors like Suren and Cazba.”
“Tasty food and friendly staff.”
“Beer was good. Decent selection on tap. Find your own seats, go to the cashier, and order your food/drinks. Has board games if you want to play something with your friends.”
“Everything was very good. Usually when I go to a Chinese restaurant, I expect at least one dish to be mid, but that wasn’t the case here. I recommend the spicy wontons, hot and sour soup, tomato and beef fried rice.”
“Friendly staff, serves quickly. Broth is tasty. Not stingy on the orders. Self serve sauce bar. Menu can be confusing, meats are by the plate while some items are by each individual item (ex. 1 fishball). Ice-cream was a bit icy but Ur here for the hotpot.”
“The server welcomes us with a green tea that was a lovely gesture!
We had a date night here .. it's absolutely true a perfect place to go through in night as well as day time . We ordered veggie udon soup and edamame as sides and that was terrific in taste ! Must try this !
Vegetarian options: Yes ! They serves vegetarian options too..
Kid-friendliness: Yes definitely!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yea!”
“Authentic little chinese restaurant at a great price. A great hidden gem! Love the lunch specials and the house special chow mein. The value for the lunch specials in particular are very reasonable. They are definitely a top choice for a quick lunch when I am in the area.”
“Gluten free Chinese food! Yes, you read that correctly! Actually gluten free Chinese food. Including the battered meats! This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a gluten free Chinese food restaurant!
I got their most popular dish: the sesame chicken. It’s the first fried Chinese food I’ve had since getting celiac disease. The crispy fried chicken was delightful! It was served very hot and they prepared it so quickly too. It had great cuts of chicken too.
The associate who I talked with on the phone was very kind and courteous and worked hard with her staff to get my food ready quickly as I was in a rush.
This restaurant only adds 3 minutes to your route when you go from Vancouver back to the US!
5 stars!”
“Lots of staff on hand made for a pleasant evening out. The 3 course meal had good portion size and the atmosphere was made more special with the live music that night. I think they have it only Fridays and Saturdays. The manager was friendly and our waiter was awesome!”
“Best dim sum in the neighbourhood 👍”
“My favourite hotpot restaurant :) I love the individual hot pot idea and all the ingredients are very fresh and tasty. Always have an amazing experience here”

“100% Japanese own managed and ran and staffed I gotta say five out of five Excellent service”
“Great ambience, delicious food and amazing staff. All the best Sandhu & Gosal Family and Team!!!:)”
“Right across Metrotown, this location is quite busy. Ordered the blade meat set 5oz, slices are very fresh as well as a variety of vegetables in the soup pot. Paid parking available at indigo lot behind the store. Drinks were ok, a bit watery for my taste. But ice cream dessert is an added plus!”
“Friendly servers and welcoming atmosphere. Foods good & reasonable prices. Close next to the public parking lot!”
“For our recent staff meeting, we ordered our meals from the Market Crossing location. Mark took our order when I called in. He was very patient. “We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! Highly recommend Fortuna for your wedding cake!!!”

“amazing food 10/10 would recommend. the staff was so friendly i felt so welcome as i ordered some delicious fried chicken. As I began to process the fumes of the chicken coming though my nostrils, i immediately fell in love. i savored the fried chicken until the last bite. All the spices blend so well to create a magnificent plate of chicken. its basically a work of art on a plate.”
“Went there recently and ordered a lamb donair, and the new lady there made the best donair I have ever had, not just randomly slapped together, but built properly with meat on one side and the veggies on the other side, it both tasted fantastic and looked delicious.”

“I recently visited the Tim Hortons in burnaby, and it was a great experience! The staff member who helped me, Vishman, was super friendly and made sure my order was perfect. The place was clean and welcoming, and my food and drink were top-notch. Highly recommend this location, especially for the excellent service from Vishman!”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
