“I frequent Joey Burnaby, however, it was my first time having the blackened chicken, which was very yummy. What really impressed me was the hot potato salad that came with the meal - delicious!!! Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their meals too. Even though the room was very energetic we could still have a decent conversation. It added to the level fun we were having for a twin birthday celebration. The server was excellent, very attentive especially because we had someone who is celiac and has special food limitations.”
“Alicia was one of the best servers I’ve ever met; she was very friendly and easygoing, so chatting with her was a great delight.”
“Hidden gem! Food was fantastic. The owners were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our night at Ceyanne. Would highly recommend this bistro.”
“We ordered beef noodle soup and chicken fried rice. The price was reasonable and the portion was huge so you’ll really get more bang for your buck. Their tea was so nice and the service was awesome. I love my beef noodle soup. The both is tasty and the beef is very tender. I will definitely come here again.”

“This place was amazing the food is out of the world will be gong back”
“Crab pho $26, totally worth it in my opinion the most unique immaculate, perfect broth I’ve ever had. I love the tapioca noodles, bonus for the deep fried soft shell crab, so good love the crunchy texture with the warm broth.! actual chunks of crab also in the soup! I’m a big eater and I couldn’t finish it all, so I would definitely come back to try more dishes”

“The food was fantastic:) we had a party in the park for 50 people food came on time and hot:) excellent customer service:) If you like great food I highly recommend this place:) Thank you Argo Restaurant.”
“Tasty food and friendly staff.”
“Best dim sum in the neighbourhood 👍”
“They give a lot of food for the price. They have ponzu sauce here which is mandatory for any Japanese restaurant. Service is great and we have come here many times now and left satisfied. Thank you.”
“This place is fantastic, all of the staff are SO friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious also!”

“Dropped in for a very late lunch. Lots of street parking is available. Their nice patio stands out among the ageing businesses nearby. Seating inside is minimal as a lot of their business is takeout.
Shared the Feijoada which was hearty, filling and unctuous. This is blue collar food at its best. We also had Bolina de Queijo - who can resist deep fried cheese covered in batter! and Beef Rissoles which were good.
Rounding out our meal was the delicious and thirst quenching fresh squeezed juices. We had an orange juice and an açai juice.
However, the absolute stars of their menu are the house made chocolates. We each had one and oh, swoon!! These cannot be missed!
We also took home a banoffee mousse and a chocolate passion fruit mousse and had these a day later. Highly recommend these as well!
Thank goodness we don’t live really close or we’d be dessertaholics 😄”
“Food was very tasty and their bbq was really good! I loved the Taiwanese sausages and the pork belly. However their portions are pretty small so make sure to order lots if you’re with a bigger group. We also ordered the lamb fried rice and a fried noodle dish but they were super oily although the flavour was good. Service was good and they also have a side bar with free dishes like chips and seaweed. Also a sauce bar for the bbq and food with variety of options!”

“I love Sushi On. Ordered sashimi platter, spicy agadashi tofu, and aburi salmon for dinner. Paid about $80 for 2 persons with tip.
Ambiance was nice. Went there on a Monday so it was not as busy. Service was friendly and pleasant.
Parking on a Monday night was easy too.”
“Food is a bit hit or miss.
I got the A2 beef noodle soup with shank and tendon and sliced noodles which was pretty good. The broth was flavourful, meat was tender, noodles were the right amount of chewiness, and portion size was good.
C7 prawn wontons in chili sauce was just okay, but it had a weird sweet taste.
D3 deep fried basket was just okay. The fried chicken and squid were crispy but a little bland. The stinky tofu tasted too stinky even for me.
Service is ok, on par for a typical asian restaurant.”
“Atmosphere and service was great, order when you're ready from a tablet right at the table. The smoked chicken was great, awesome smoke flavour that's hard to get elsewhere. The fried chicken was good, but not what I think of when I want Korean Fried Chicken. Definitely would go back.”

“Great service as always! Newest and cleanest HDL location as well. My kid loves the face changing show, noodle dancing and no need to mention the fun toys that keep him busy! It is also my favorite family friendly restaurant that has near zero sodium/sauce option for a healthy meal! Recommend to all families with kids!!”

“Highly recommend. We enjoy the food but appreciate everyone has different preferences. Clean restaurant, great ambience, and quick excellent service. Ample parking and right across from Lougheed Mall and other stores so you can also do some shopping. My kids also enjoy this restaurant.”
“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.”
“Recently went here for Lunch with the family.
It was around 60$ per person for AYCE for 2 hours. We went on a Saturday at around 12:30 to 1ish and the wait was only a few minuted to be seated.
2 Hour FREE Parking is included, by parking in the lot behind the restaurant and then scanning at QR code at reception.
So the way it works is you basically pay for the soup base (which is priced at 59.99), and order any sliced meats (no charge) on the iPad they give you. And any other vegetables, noodles or other add ons you want to put into your soup base is at the back for you to grab yourself. You have a 2 hour dining limit, but you can order as much meat as you’d like. They also have a dessert bar and sauce bar as well that you can customize to your liking. Afterwards they also give complimentary Soft Serve ice cream. Staff is very friendly and always checking in on you and collecting plates as you go. Definitely somewhere I’d go for more special occasions, rather than a normal outing.”
“We were 16 of us at the restaurant for my daughter graduation dinner and the server name Sabrina was amazing.she surprised my daughter with special in house cake.
that was very nice of you and thank you.
We will see you soon again.”

“Hey, its afternoon time, tired from classes, I just went to this subway near metrotown mall, I would say a crew member named Kajal, was super nice and very patient even it was busy. I loved service there, do visit this subway station for great service and super delicious subway!!!”
“Subway isn't just about food—it's a journey of flavor and freshness. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with vibrant, crisp veggies and warm, freshly baked bread that’s perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The customization options are endless, letting you build your sandwich exactly how you want it. Whether you're craving classic turkey or an adventurous veggie masterpiece, there’s a perfect combo for everyone.
The staff, including Nitin, are friendly and efficient, crafting each sub with care and speed, making you feel like a VIP. And when you take that first bite, it’s pure bliss—crunchy veggies, melted cheese, and the perfect blend of flavors that leaves you satisfied and craving more.
Subway is more than a meal; it’s an experience.”
“I usually come here twice a week after my workouts for lunch, and Parvinder is the manager and she's amazing!
... very very good friendly helpful and really knows her stuff!
She and her staff keep the restaurant in very clean condition too, bathrooms are very nice and clean too which is important. Good job team!
my favourite Subway- location ??”
“This is hands down one of the best A&W locations we've ever been to! We always come here, and every single time, the staff treats us with so much kindness. Everyone working here always has a smile on their face, which makes the experience even better.
The food is always fresh, tasty, and served piping hot. What really stands out is their exceptional service—they always bring the food right to your table, and they never ask for tips. That level of care and hospitality is truly mind-blowing!
Highly recommend this A&W location to anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 😊🍔🍟”
“This is an ayce/ all you care to eat place. Good place to lounge, study, and get stuff done. Lots of different food stations (sandwich, sushi, salads, bowls, grill, pasta, pizza, burgers) to try. Make sure you go early so you can try all the options because some items, once they're gone, they don't refill them. There's also soup, fountain drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, pastries.”
“I have been coming to this Tims for a year now and I can easily say, it is one of the best I have been to. I think you guys forgot to train your night staff, they are a bit rude but I love the morning and the evening folks. Always a fun experience and I love chatting with them.”
“Delicious order: mcdouble, junior chicken, and fries! Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful.
We ate in the restaurant for a change, and the tables were all cleaned very well.
The employees even come around to grab your garbage when you're done and ask how the meal was! Amazing service :)”
“Another outstanding dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant. Food, wine and the service is always top notch and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for always taking such good care of me.”
“Large, open, noisy (not annoying, adds a bit of zest in fact). The seafood tower is excellent value. Our servers (Harlan is the only name I remember) was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Four of us had a great time.”
“New Management!!
It was a shame that there weren't many Korean restaurants near Edmonds, but it's a delicious place that's just right without being salty :) This place is run by the owner of Angel Food, which is famous for its cost-effectiveness and taste in Lougheed! All of the leftovers are delicious, and the ‘Han Sang’ menu is really good value for money (first of all, the taste is basically guaranteed). Although the menu changes every day, it’s a shame that I can’t eat the menu on other days, but I think I’ll come here more often! It's not a review event at all. I really like the owner's food so I wanted to spread the word to many people haha. Please try it at least once.”

“I'd go here several times a week if I lived closer because this place is a great little gem! Really great coffee, tea, and snacks but not priced higher than other similar places. Support local small businesses! Same two staff are always there and very friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I've frequented here many times now and I have to say its a great little gem hidden by Coscto! Hands down the best chicken burger, they give you a full breast and always fresh!
Pros
- Place is set back in the old era of time but sparkly clean
- Family run
Cons
- You don't come here for the ambience
If you're craving a fried chicken cooked to perfection every time, this is it. It's not your standard greasy oily burger either. Looks to be run by a Korean mom and her kids. You can tell, there's a lot of love put into frying!
Can't wait to come back!”
“It’s one of our favorite hot pot spot in Burnaby, the quality is always good 👍🏻 our server Chelsea is very friendly, she recommends us some good options and we really enjoy it.”
“All was great, first time going there. The only thing I would suggest is to get real plants instead of fake ones. The light coming in is perfect, but the plastic plants makes it look cheap. Food was great. Maybe a variety of fruit on the cheesecakes would be good too. Strawberry, mango, peach, banana etc. Coffee was perfect, nice and hot, not bitter.”
“Pretty good tasting sushi place. I ordered takeout from Sushi S and the sushi was packaged and presented pretty well. All of my order tasted great and fresh. For me, I really liked how the sushi was of high quality and did not fall apart, like with other sushi restuarants. My favorite was the Aburi Wild Salmon Oshi - all the flavors blended well together. Now, this isn't the best sushi, but it is delicious and fairly priced. I will have to try other menu items in the future.”

“We hosted our wedding at Mintara on Burnaby mountain in September and have nothing but rave reviews! If you are thinking of hosting your wedding here - do it!
Carissa and the rest of the Mintara team were so helpful, caring and truly went out of their way to make sure us and our guests had the best day. Throughout the planning process, Carissa was so responsive in answering any questions we had, but also making recommendations to ensure our day was smooth. Also the food was delicious - and we received so many compliments from our guests! 10/10 wedding venue :)”

“I just wanted to thank Khushi, who works here at the Quesada location at SFU. She is an amazing employee who always helps customers promptly and is so kind! She prepared a delicious meal for me and I will definitely be back soon! The location is bright, clean and conveniently placed. Thank you!”
“Hands down the best spring rolls I've ever had in my life. I can't stop raving about them to anyone who will listen. I tried Ha Cafe for the first time and went back again the next day just for the spring rolls. The Pho was also very tasty, and a good portion size.”
“Hands down, best pizza I have had in BC. It pushed a Vancouver joint to #2. The dough is crispy, chewey, fluffy and simple but amazing all at the same time. This place is not like other wood fires , it’s very different. Hot honey sauce, fire. 🔥 I have tried fungi, Margarita, chorizo, crispy P, and I cannot eat at other places ever again. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“A nice quiet place for any travelers and locals to sip on a nice cup of coffee. Its right between the Rural side of the country with only Coffee Monster in sight, and the busy ramp up areas down Waterfront/YaleTown of Vancouver. If you're looking for a place to rest and smooth up your tired travels, this is one stop worth dropping by.”
“A hidden gem for Taiwanese food that deserves more hype! Went for the boiled fish with pickles combo for two and got a feast—boiled fish soup, beef bulgogi, crispy fried tofu, plus tea and veggies (not pictured because we were too busy eating). Cozy vibes, friendly service, and flavors that hit the spot. Definitely coming back for round two!”
“A lovely experience! Beautiful location, friendly professional service, excellent food. Our entrees, Prawn and Avocado salad and Burrata & Heirloom Tomato Panzanella were delicious, perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. Great way to spend a sunny afternoon!”
“Outstanding food! We popped in here with a bit of hesitation because of the promotion signage out front. It was Green bean and lamb and draft beer 2 for 1. Each day there is a different 241 dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, with a two level open concept room with sky lights and lots of windows. Chairs and tables are comfy and there was a nice light jazz playing. We ordered the 2 for one dish of the night and it actually came with 2 for 1 draft beer!
I was surprised when we got a lovely little bowl of the most aromatic mushroom soup as a starter. Our beers arrived next, followed up by the main, which was an exquisite combination of flavours and textures. The napkins were high quality disposable and there were candles on each table. Service was really great and both servers had fantastic sense of humours!
Highly recommend this place and will be back to try other dishes.”
“We had an amazing experience here! The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us feeling more than satisfied. The ambiance added a perfect touch, making our meal even more enjoyable. And the service? Absolutely top-notch! Attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience!”
“I've been thinking about coming to me & eds with my friends for so long - i heard the ads on jrfm and was taken by the description of the flaky delicious crust. Finally - we made a date of it and it was better than i could have imagined. The decor and design - so cute! The pizza - perfectly good and flaky. Garlic bread - would order again! And i love a bottomless diet coke. Really feels like i'm in the 90s dining at the platonic ideal of a pizza parlour. Shout out to Michael for his excellent service. Me & eds - do you sell the shirts that the waiters wear? Thanks and 🙏🏻”
“Highly recommend. We enjoy the food but appreciate everyone has different preferences. Clean restaurant, great ambience, and quick excellent service. Ample parking and right across from Lougheed Mall and other stores so you can also do some shopping. My kids also enjoy this restaurant.”

“Really cute cafe with a light and airy atmosphere! Great choice of desserts that are so pretty they would make good gifts. Had a salmon-avocado sandwich and an iced Spanish latte. The latte was really pretty with huge ice cubes and a cardboard cuff on the cup that was hand stamped with the cafe’s cute logo, giving it an artisanal feel. The flavour was well balanced and custardy with a dessert-like feel. The salmon sandwich was huge and wrapped in paper so it was easy to eat. It was really fresh with delicate flavours, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. While I really enjoyed it, I found it a little too sweet for my taste and was not a big fan of the cinnamon in the pickles, however, this was a matter of personal taste. The cafe is spotlessly clean and a great place to study, work or meet with friends. The staff were really friendly and attentive.”
“We tried one of everything. Our favourite was the cinnamon brown sugar pancake!
Very hot and no waiting - treats are fresh off the grill. We tried the taiyaki place upstairs as well but this one won out by a long shot (although the other one was good, it was double the price and long wait as the taiyaki were made to order).”
“An online order for some reason sent it to this location instead of one closer to me. When I called, the girl explained that the Doordash drivers were refusing to deliver it because it was a 15 min drive away (instead of 8 min). The staffer organized another driver and made a fresh pizza to deliver it. Overall it took about 3 hours total from order to arrival, but the staffer did her best to manage the situation. Big thanks to her!”
“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! Keep it up and we look forward to seeing what is released in years to come. If you have not checked it out. Stop by , you wine be disappointed”
“"Light, fluffy waffles and crepes loaded with colorful, fresh fruits—ideal for a refreshing breakfast or dessert."”
“The food was fantastic:) we had a party in the park for 50 people food came on time and hot:) excellent customer service:) If you like great food I highly recommend this place:) Thank you Argo Restaurant.”
“Perfect campus bar, great selection of local beers and domestic. Love the tuesday happy hour with cheap local beers. Courtney, Ursula and Raj always makes it a good time to come here. Gonna miss Biercraft when i have to go back home!”

“Great foods, very attentive service, will definitely come back more often since it’s so close to home!”
“We were visiting from out of town and stopped at Cactus Club for my partners birthday dinner. We are so happy we chose Cactus as the food and service were great!
We were lucky to have Ghayass as our server and they were amazing! Very attentive and made our birthday celebration feel special. Huge shout out to Ghayass!
For food we started with the calamari and it was amazing, I could have eaten a large entree sized portion of just this! We also got a green goddess salad that was great and the bolognese pasta which was really good.
We ordered a crème brûlée for desert and Ghayass made it special by bringing it out with a happy birthday message and a candle, thank you so much! The dessert was amazing!
Overall a great experience!”
“With so many Japanese food options on Hastings, this is THE place to go eat or order from.
The food quality is TOP notch, the service is awesome, the variety of offering is great, pricing is on par with other restaurants. And the value is outstanding.
Consistently providing great sushi, we’ve been order or dining in for the past 2 years.
Our favs are the staples: Avocado roll, Tuna roll, Sockeye Sashimi roll, Tuna & Sockeye Sashimi etc.
And for fun try the DejaVu or Geisha Roll when you can… LOVE IT
Kid-friendliness: The customize their rolls to cater to kids preferences .. my daughter hates mayo, so Shen will not put mayo in their roll for her”
“Our family of 10 just landed back in Vancouver ag 5pm after 4 days in California. We were hungry and didn't know what to eat. Good thing Happy Lamb Hot Pot could accommodate us! Food and service here has always been good since we have been eating here for the past 10+ years.
$30-$40 per person all you can eat is worth it. Compared to California where each meal we paid $20-$30 USD per person per meal! It's good to be back where Vancouver has the best variety of food at descent price.
Here they have deep fried chicken wings and lamb/pork bones ready to eat if you are hungry and can't wait for you hot pot food to come out.
Parking: The CIBC parking is from 8am-5pm underground, but you can park there after 5pm.”
“Decent sushi, chinese run. The toro is a bit lower quality than other restaurants for the price point but the unagi quality is to die for. Overall decent sushi and great quality.”
“Wonderful food and such friendly hospitality - was glad to finally experience what my friends have talked about for years.”
“This is in my opinion the best sushi restaurant in the neighborhood! And I think I've tried them all. Definitely not the cheapest but great legit Japanese food, good atmosphere and friendly service what else can you ask for!?”

“Amazing sushi place right next to the Holdom Station! I’ve been to half of the sushi restaurant in Vancouver and I really liked this place:) It’s cozy and clean. The menu is kinda hard to read but the selections are also more varying than other sushi places for sushi lovers. I liked Deluxe Chirashi and Tokusen Sashimi. For Oshi sushi, I recommend unagi oshi! For special rolls, Awesome cream cheese roll and Mazinga roll are my favourite!”
“We had an amazing experience here! The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us feeling more than satisfied. The ambiance added a perfect touch, making our meal even more enjoyable. “Always good foods..Awesome service..Friendly Staff and beyond ♥️ I love it so much @thekeg♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“It was my first time there and the sushi rolls I ordered were perfect!
The server was very kind and polite, and the chef was fast and accurate.
I'll definitely go back there again.”
“Friendly little place near Burnaby General. I enjoyed my chicken Quasadilla that came with a nice salad. Everything tasted very fresh and the music made me feel like I was on vacation.”
“Absolutely loved my experience at L’Astria. The wine selection was well-curated and paired perfectly with the meal. The pasta was fresh, rich, and full of authentic Italian flavor — you can tell it’s made with care. And the tiramisu? Easily one of the best I’ve had — light, creamy, and just the right touch of sweetness. Beautiful ambiance and attentive service made the whole evening memorable. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true Italian dining experience.”

“Im soo happy my friend found this chic resto! Great service as well! Very kind and patient server..”
“Great atmosphere and service. A bit too pricy for some items as they're similar quality ingredients as other large sushi places, but "dressed up".”
“I tried their palak paneer , mixed vegetables , karahi paneer , Kari pakora etc . Tasty food . Focus on hygiene . Staff friendly . Mostly women working here . Restaurant seen busy all the time .”
“Dee-licious!!! 🤤😍💕 Definitely recommend the cheese fried rice. Great for dates, family dinners, or a casual drink + meal.”
“Simply the best Japanese restaurant in greater Vancouver. Been here for a few years and always deeply satisfied. Cozy ambience and attentive service. Tried a new dessert tonight—the miso caramel cheesecake was such a delight!”
“Great service! The hosts were kind and accommodating , our server was engaging with the menu, and the food was hot, delicious, and delivered quickly. Can’t ask for much more.”
“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. I will definitely will be returning . Added a picture, this is after 3 people eating Big pieces and loads left ... Go visit this place . You won't regret it !!!”
“Lovely experience for my first time dining in this restaurant. Great food, and I'm glad that my friends know what to order, so I could just let them handle all the availability selection since there was just so much to choose from. And I have heard that the drink menu was bigger than the food menu, i didn't even bother checking it out since I was busy taking videos and photos, lol
But I had a blast, and the wait staff were nice. The food was yummy, and the vibe was comfy. What else do I ask for from a restaurant?”
“All the menu are pork. I am Moeslem can’t eat pork. I can only eat vegetables with noodle and salmon with noodle. 🙏🙏🙏”
“The richness n texture of foods we ate were excellent. It was good ,wonderful👍”
“Wonderful dinner experience, best lamb souvlaki I've ever had. Plus the service is exceptionally good and authentic, not over the top "tip-nice."
Shout out to Mikaela and Suzette (My Captain, My Captain).
Cheers”
“Hidden gem in Burnaby North, best Japanese/Korean venue on Hastings in Burnaby. Definitely the best tempuras in Lower Mainland that I've ever eaten; light and crispy thin batter, not greasy at all. Restaurant overall cleanliness well maintained, convenient parking, exceptionally pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommended for anyone wishing a happy meal with friends or families for reasonable pricing for similar venues in area.”
“This is a very unassuming location, a small restaurant that is tucked away at a corner of a strip mall, almost out of sight. But, what a discovery!
The food was amazing, with fresh ingredients, great quality of seafood used, and nice portions. I had the Aburi Inari Sampler and the Ebi & Gyu Don, and they were both delicious. Flavourful combination of dishes that I haven’t tried before in other Japanese restaurants.
Customer service was very friendly and courteous from start to finish. Overall, this is a hidden gem that I am very glad that I discovered. Very lovely place.
Parking: Not a lot of spots available in the parking lot, but there is some street parking nearby.”
“We absolutely love their chicken wings and clear broth noodle soups (chicken or pork). It's a cozy little Malaysian joint.”
“Tasty food and friendly staff.”
“Always have an amazing experience. Very cozy vibe and delicious food. The owner is always extremely kind and always is there to help when needed. Quickly became my favourite place to eat late night hotpot.”
“Highlight of my day: “I’m just going to very un-subtly place my Korean cigarette box here to show everyone I was in / have been to Korea, because even though I’m eating alone I came here to feel or recreate a sense of belonging and nostalgia for where I [taught English; studied briefly; went on vacay; insert any other less likely scenario in order of highest to least probability]. I hope you notice it and think “wow this guy was in Korea I wanna be just like him! I’ll never be cool.” Please notice me. *sniff*”
What’s funnier is that I don’t know if the box is empty or he just takes his Canadian classics, pall malls, or reserve rolls and then uses them to refill this box so he can strategically place them on the table at every Korean resto he goes to.
Had snow onion chicken but thought the sauce was just okay.”
“Incredibly delicious Korean food.
Sea food pancake was one of the best dishes I tried here. It was just a bit oily. Dumplings were so tasty.
Ribs were grilled perfectly.”
“We had a family dinner this is the second one and there was plenty of food and everyone enjoyed it I would do it again in a minuite. Excellent!”
“amazing!! will most definitely be back again, we got the mentaiko cream linguine, salmon oshi, ebi oshi, dynamite roll and wakame salad 🙏🏻 the mentaiko cream linguine is amazing, can’t wait to get it again and the oshi 👏🏻 they give such a hefty serving of the wakame salad too, was very surprised.”
“Went there for a local band play, shout out to the food that really stood out. Waiters were super friendly. During live music, we couldnt hear each other well, they were patient and smiley checking everything was ordered correctly.”
“that was honestly one of the tastiest breakfasts I've ever had .. the pulled pork benny was delicious!!”
“Hosting our wedding at Riverway was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It is such a beautiful and centrally-located venue. The ceremony space is right by the water and is truly so stunning in the summer. The indoor reception space is large with wooden beams and natural lighting, which meant we didn’t have to invest in as much décor as well as it was already naturally beautiful. Bradley is such an incredibly kind and patient person – we had so many questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and he answered all of them in such a timely and thoughtful manner. He was so helpful for our rehearsal as well and he even checked in with us in-person on the day of, to congratulate us and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We feel so lucky that we worked with Bradley for the wedding – even though he must deal with so many couples, he definitely made us feel cared for and was a big reason for why we were so happy with our venue choice.
Additionally, because the venue is owned by the City of Burnaby, we really appreciated that there were no hidden fees that we had to account for such as administrative fees, taxes, or service charges. The bartending and event staff were also very attentive and kind, and the buffet line ran very efficiently despite that we had 200+ guests. We got so many compliments from our family and friends on how beautiful the wedding was and most importantly, how delicious the buffet was (in particular, the mashed potatoes, striploin, and sticky toffee pudding). We feel so lucky that we were able to snag a spot in the summer for our wedding at Riverway – it is definitely one of the best venues in Metro Vancouver and we would highly recommend it to any couple!

“Dropped in on a Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. We had a relaxing supper in the pleasantly cool dining room with some easy listening music playing in the background. I tried the Sashimi & Sushi Bento Box and thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality was great and I thought it was a really good value for $21. Their California rolls seemed to be stuffed and the tempura was up to standards. The tea served was good and mellow. The staff were exceeding polite.”
“We were staying at the hotel while my hubby had heart surgery and ate there our first night. THE FOOD AT ATMOSPHERE IS AMAZING!! The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! She had my order ready so fast! No questions asked! It was very busy in there for a Wednesday night! You guys are awesome. Thankyou again! We will be back to the hotel Accent Inn and Bin 4!”
“Had one of those meals that made you leave feeling happy and satisfied. Came on a Saturday night and the place filled up quickly and the K-pop music made the space lively (our 2.5y/o daughter kept dancing the whole night). Food wait was around 30 minutes, but when it came, everything came! The spicy beef intestine hot pot was awesome if you like organs, very well-seasoned. Everyone loved the seafood pancake, which was very crispy and had a loads of filling. Japchae portion was huge and very tasty. My favorite was the bossom and jokbal (braised pork hock) dish! Super tender, gelatinous and flavorful, highly recommend. The kettle Vanmak makgeoli helped us wash down all that food, which we had to pack half of it to go. Great meal and value, will definitely return!”
“It was a good experience for my mom. The typical dim sum place we go to is more casual and lower budget. The dim sum place will definitely earn some respect stars from family and friends visiting Vancouver or Burnaby. Bling bling 🌟 🌟”
“I was happy to see a Sushi Restaurant back again. Even meaning to try it out, so stopped in last week to grab a menu. Decided to try it out for a late lunch today. I am so glad I did. The decor is very nicely done, and the atmosphere is friendly and intimate(although I did takeout, but just giving my impressions). The staff was super friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was spectacular, and as I had ordered a lunch special, the value for the amount I spent was great. I will be going back...often. I think it was only $13.95 for "Vege Set A", and it was a filling meal. It came with Miso Soup, Salad, 6pc Yam Tempura Roll, and 8pc Vegetable Roll. I tried something different in going with Veggies, but that Vegetable Roll will be on my next order for sure.
Thanks so much, Haku Sushi for a great meal at an awesome price, which has become rare to find in this day and age.
Vegetarian options: The 8pc Vegetable Roll was simply awesome. It had Cucumber, Avocado, Pickled Radish, and Pickled Squash. It was very tasty and flavourful.”
“The food is amazing, I was happily surprised. The staff are nice and welcoming. Small and cute sit down restaurant. Price was a bit on the higher side. Overall 5/5 for taste. Must try spot”
“I actually only ordered from them for the first time a few days ago, The lady said I shouldn't order Ginger beef with Lemon Chicken so I got Mongolian beef instead that time. The food was definately good enough to order again. Good food reasonable prices. But they make mistakes. I ordered Sweet and Sour pork, GINGER beef and Chicken Chow Mein. They sent Sweet and sour pork, SWEET AND SOUR BEEF, and Chicken Chow Mein. Why would anyone order two Sweet and sour. A little upsetting. I don't want to read too much into it, but it sort of feels like she's trying to teach me lesson.”
“Noon and Rayhoon persian restaurant delivers high quality, generous portions, and affordable prices. It stands out as the premier choice in the Burnaby area, surpassing competitors like Suren and Cazba.”
“We came here for a friend's 40th birthday because she enjoys the food, but the server today wasn't really up to the usual standard. She didn't seem to like her job and barely smiled. The other servers were great though, they commented on our balloons, the energy and our outfits!
We ordered a few dishes, the rigatoni being my favourite (flavourful and big portion). The ravioli was overcooked and dry with veey little sauce, and the bolognese was bland. The Boscaiola was my second fav dish, mainly because I love mushrooms and it was cooked very well. Creamy and delicious.
We also ordered appetizers. The calamari was tasty and had some fried zucchinis and bell peppers, which were a nice touch. The trio dip was also 👌🏻 except that they need to provide extra pita for the large amount of dips.
Overall the experience was good, except we hoped for a better server to make it better.

“Beer was good. Decent selection on tap. Find your own seats, go to the cashier, and order your food/drinks. Has board games if you want to play something with your friends.”
“Everything was very good. Usually when I go to a Chinese restaurant, I expect at least one dish to be mid, but that wasn’t the case here. I recommend the spicy wontons, hot and sour soup, tomato and beef fried rice.”
“Friendly staff, serves quickly. Broth is tasty. Not stingy on the orders. Self serve sauce bar. Menu can be confusing, meats are by the plate while some items are by each individual item (ex. 1 fishball). Ice-cream was a bit icy but Ur here for the hotpot.”
“Gluten free Chinese food! Yes, you read that correctly! Actually gluten free Chinese food. Including the battered meats! This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a gluten free Chinese food restaurant!
I got their most popular dish: the sesame chicken. It’s the first fried Chinese food I’ve had since getting celiac disease. The crispy fried chicken was delightful! It was served very hot and they prepared it so quickly too. It had great cuts of chicken too.
The associate who I talked with on the phone was very kind and courteous and worked hard with her staff to get my food ready quickly as I was in a rush.
This restaurant only adds 3 minutes to your route when you go from Vancouver back to the US!
5 stars!”
“We decided to celebrate our small wedding lunch here, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. They kept the restaurant open just for us—even though they usually close between 2 and 4 p.m. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and even surprised us with complimentary appetizers for our wedding.
The atmosphere is amazing, full of old-world Italian charm. The food was also outstanding—our favourite was the pasta with Serrano ham.
We also highly recommend coming on weekend nights when they have live music—it adds a wonderful touch to the dining experience!
We're definitely coming back!”
“100% Japanese own managed and ran and staffed I gotta say five out of five Excellent service”
“Amazing food and service ! The Korean Glass noodles and the BBQ Beef Ribs are sooo good !”

“Great ambience, delicious food and amazing staff. All the best Sandhu & Gosal Family and Team!!!:)”
“Right across Metrotown, this location is quite busy. Ordered the blade meat set 5oz, slices are very fresh as well as a variety of vegetables in the soup pot. Paid parking available at indigo lot behind the store. Drinks were ok, a bit watery for my taste. But ice cream dessert is an added plus!”
“Friendly servers and welcoming atmosphere. Foods good & reasonable prices. Close next to the public parking lot!”
“For our recent staff meeting, we ordered our meals from the Market Crossing location. Mark took our order when I called in. He was very patient. We had a lot meals and he took the time to ensure everything was correct. Our order was ready for the exact time we requested and every meal was correct. Thanks Mark for taking the extra time .”
“Came here for dim sum on the weekend and parking is very very busy. There is street parking if you're willing to walk a couple blocks.
Make sure to make reservations, especially if you have a large party.
Dim sum is pretty good, and the size are fine too.
Service is average, but it is probably because how busy it is.”

“We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! Highly recommend Fortuna for your wedding cake!!!”

“amazing food 10/10 would recommend. the staff was so friendly i felt so welcome as i ordered some delicious fried chicken. As I began to process the fumes of the chicken coming though my nostrils, i immediately fell in love. i savored the fried chicken until the last bite. All the spices blend so well to create a magnificent plate of chicken. its basically a work of art on a plate.”
“Went there recently and ordered a lamb donair, and the new lady there made the best donair I have ever had, not just randomly slapped together, but built properly with meat on one side and the veggies on the other side, it both tasted fantastic and looked delicious.”

“We came with 4 kids during a family visit. We came on a weekday and it was busy but not overwhelming. I can see how it could be crazy on a weekend. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared every dish, Bulgogi platter, fried chicken (both spicy and not), mango waffles, along with other pastries. The front girl taking our order was friendly, food is fantastic and the decor was cool. Its not an intimate fine dining type place. Expect some overall noise with how sound travels.”
“I recently visited the Tim Hortons in burnaby, and it was a great experience! The staff member who helped me, Vishman, was super friendly and made sure my order was perfect. The place was clean and welcoming, and my food and drink were top-notch. Highly recommend this location, especially for the excellent service from Vishman!”
“I just wanted to thank Khushi, who works here at the Quesada location at SFU. She is an amazing employee who always helps customers promptly and is so kind! She prepared a delicious meal for me and I will definitely be back soon! The location is bright, clean and conveniently placed. Thank you!”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
