The sushi rolls we got were Alaska, red, and munch roll. To my surprise, the Alaska roll was my favourite! We also got a beef udon soup that was really delicious and bigger than I expected. We'll definitely come back regularly.”

I witnessed the staff at this McDonald's, working hard to unload trucks, pack supplies and try their best to keep customers happy.
In these efforts, I appreciate their hard work, and the patience for the high demands.
I ordered chicken nuggets, coffee and dipping sauces.
Nuggets were fresh, crispy and didn't have any weird chewy or dark parts.
Coffee was Esspresso, with cream and honey, and it was actually drinkable...Unlike Tim's.
The staff were kind and apologizing for order taking longer than expected.
Overall, I like this location, staff are kind and patient.
Food was tolerable, it is McDonald's 2025, not like McDonald's 1985, which was absolutely the best fast food available back then.
Entering the parking lot can be a task in itself, due to being on a hill and only having one way to drive into the establishment, can see they're definitely losing a massive income due to this inconvenience, still, nonetheless, can see they put great effort into providing for customer satisfaction.”

“The happy hour is after 9pm and it’s 25% off and bottomless drink for the drink of the day, such a good deal!! The combo is great and is a big portion. They servers are really nice and come around to add more broth all the time. You can also ask for chilli pepper to make the sauce more spicy. On a Friday night there was around a 30 minute wait on the waitlist to get in around 9pm.”

For two people, we ordered: two unagi nigiri, the ethical salmon with tobiko roll, a spicy scallop solo, and two salmon nigiri.
First—the sushi rice. It was cooked perfectly, with beautiful, distinct pearls and delicate seasoning.
The unagi was lightly torched, giving it a gentle smoky flavour. I loved that it didn’t rely on a heavy sauce; the seasoning enhanced it beautifully. It might be the best unagi I’ve ever had!
The ethical salmon roll had thinly sliced scallions and just a touch of chili powder. The delicate flavours brought out the freshness of the salmon and tobiko. The scallops were incredibly fresh and seasoned just right—no overwhelming heat, no heavy sauce. Truly the best scallop sushi!
The salmon nigiri was brilliant. The fish was so fresh it practically melted in your mouth.
Do yourself a favour and don’t drown anything in soy sauce—the sushi is made so perfectly that you really don’t need any.
Everything was so good that my friend and I ended up ordering two more salmon nigiri, two more unagi nigiri, and another scallop roll.

“We had a great experience having our wedding at Riverway. The patio was perfect for cocktail hour and the main dining area worked very well for the reception. Being on a golf course, you might see golfers behind the ceremony space in summer, but it didn’t feel distracting and didn’t take away from the ceremony. The sunset views are beautiful and shine through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which our guests loved.
The plated dinner was a highlight. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, in spite of the quantity that needed to be prepared, and the chicken with mushroom marsala cream was equally tasty. Portions were satisfying, and desserts like tiramisu and toffee sticky cake were crowd favorites. Dietary restrictions were handled smoothly, and we were well-attended-to during the initial menu tasting. Our signature cocktails, including some custom options, were a big hit with our guests!
Bradley was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The Riverway team helped ensure everything on the day-of went off without a hitch. Regarding the pasta, the spaghetti alla vongole was served with linguine so that’s as much as I’ll say about that. If you can read between the lines then you’ll know what I mean; otherwise, I truly think you won’t be disappointed as the portion is a good size and they provide a generous serving of clams.
I liked the service and the presentation of everything. There were people of all walks and the restaurant was fairly busy on a weekday evening.

He’s a super friendly guy that explain the whole menu to us including some of his recommendations which we went with, we got the combo B that included 2 boneless chicken flavours, and either fried squid or calamari. I ordered the hot devil flavour and he helped us out with the other, which was the original chicken with 3 different sides of sauce so we could sample each. I highly recommend ordering the fried squid over the calamari! Everything was great including presentation and a huge portion for your money. “We recently visited this Korean restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. The interior design, with its partitions between tables, gave a nice sense of privacy that made the dining experience more comfortable.
We ordered the beef intestine soup and the cold noodles. Both were flavorful and enjoyable. The soup came with plenty of ingredients, though the medium spice level felt a little mild; next time we’d probably go one step spicier. The cold noodles were refreshing and served in a generous portion, though it would have been even better with a few slices of meat or seafood added in.
The menu isn’t huge, but it does feature the beef intestine hot pot, which was exactly what drew us in. Since there were only two of us, we skipped the larger BBQ platters and went with single dishes, which worked out well. Overall, the flavors were solid, the portions fair, and the price very reasonable.
We’d rate the experience about 7/10. Definitely worth a try if you’re craving Korean comfort food, and we’d be happy to come back again.”

“I came here for lunch and was warmly greeted by the cashier and owner. They were both so helpful in explaining how to build my own Chinese poke bowl. Bowls start at only $12.88 and you choose a protein, base, sauce and 3 sides. I tried shrimp with thick noodles, dragon sauce and 3 veggie sides. The noodles were chewy and the sauce added a nice kick to it. I also tried the chicken curry over brown rice. I enjoyed the curry, next time I'm going to try their curry brisket over noodles.
They also have bubble tea! I tried mango milk tea with pearls and lychee black tea with coconut jelly. Both drinks were refreshing with a fruity taste and I liked that they weren't too sweet.”

“Don't let the lines fool you, it's always long because comparatively speaking the place isn't that big. They even serve you miso soup and hot water while you wait outside. But given its location and the lack of any other solid ramen options (if we're excluding the Brentwood area), this is probably the best place to get a solid bowl of ramen by Metrotown.
They are quite creative in their appetizer department though. The Chicken Nanban is delicious, in particular the tartar sauce. This goes for their Gyoza with the lovely grated Yuzu topping. It's unique and helps cut out some of the umami from the broth. Texture wise, it's quite consistent with any other Gyoza or Chicken Karrage dishes you order at other ramen places. Don't sleep on their desserts, whether its the matcha ones or the ice cream, it's worth finishing up your dinner with something sweet and unique.
Just like Ramen Danbo, you can customize your ramen to your liking, broth, lard, charsiu style, and noodles. Service is quite fair but just be aware that your entire party has to be present to be seated. I think its worth up sizing for the extra $1 for like 50g of more food, but if you're ordering a bunch of appies then you might want to stick with the small size.”
