“Monster sushi is great affordable sushi! I've lived in Langley for 17 years and I've tried ALL the sushi places and Monster sushi, by far, beats them all! The sushi is fresh and even though they might have a little bit longer wait times to pick up, it's more than worth it! Totally recommend!!!“

“the food is good ! i really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki set with miso soup and salad. they also gave me a complementary fried california roll (which is my favourite).

i am only giving 4 stars because i ordered take-out for the dynamite roll and i’ve had better. other restaurants give dynamite rolls that are large, so large that they fall apart and with 8 rolls. this restaurant only gave me 6 (and 1/2 ?)“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“I tries their Lunch Menu A: Ton Katsu with rice, Agedashi Tofu, Takoyaki, Miso and a japanese salad bowl (that had some vermicelli noodle).

Overall I believe the price was worth the tray, tasted great and quite filling.

Sushi Hinode has a brighter atmosphere than its predecessor Hyack Sushi, almost cafe-like. I think its a decent replacement for the staple resto.“

“I went there for the first time and got take-out. I enjoyed it, but most-importantly, my elderly (and sometimes finnicky) parents loved it.

The California Rolls, Assorted Sashimi, and Chirashi Don all got thumbs-up. So, I guess all that I can add is that we highly recommend these menu items.

We did not like the Super Balls. Critically-speaking, while I find it reasonable to have been expecting something spicy, we all found them to be more sweet than spicy. This clearly does not affect my rating at all, but I think that it is fair to add this insight.“

“We discovered Sushi Musa by chance and haven't looked back since. The chicken karaage and prawn tempura are standouts, must-try dishes. We're regulars now, and always order the Roll combo with chicken, which never disappoints. “We recently dined here , our first time and it was an absolute 5-star experience! The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with a golden panko coating that was pure perfection. We ordered the hira pork katsu, kimchi katsu that came sizzling to the table and the cheese katsu. The accompanying tonkatsu sauce had just the right balance of tangy and sweet, elevating every bite. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, Jenny was attentive who made us feel so welcome. The side dishes, especially the miso soup, pickled veggies, and salad were all fresh and flavorful, rounding out the meal beautifully. Portions were generous, and the presentation was impeccable. Our son would rate it more than 5 stars if it could go any higher. We highly recommend this place for date night then take a stroll through downtown Langley“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“My favorite sushi place now! I love their tofu twist- a very unique take on agedashi tofu. Ingredients are always fresh. The rolls are beautifully made- you can tell there's pride in their craft. I highly recommend the salmon teriyaki- its delicious. Good portions. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality and service. It's great to have a restaurant like this in my neighborhood.“
