“The food and service here were great! We ordered the lunch special that consists of a miso soup, special roll, and side for $20. The portions were big and they even gave us 2 pieces of the deep fried sushi on the house!!

Definitely recommend if you are in the area☺“

“Always superb sushi ! Rolls ! Tempura ! Too good“

“We ordered lots of food from here for our baby's 100 day celebration. All the food came with excellent quality and taste were very perfect. The couple who took our order and prepare our food were very kind and nice and very friendly.

Highly recommend here for good food and good people and good days :).“

“Absolutely delicious and fresh katsu every time! The pork katsu actually melts in your mouth compared to other katsu restaurants. The chicken and ebi katsu are also high quality. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wait time isn't long. My family loves it here. Keep it up!“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!

Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.

Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!“

“We’ve been going to Ko’s since we were 16 years old - we’re in our mid 30s now and living far away, but every time we make it back to the mainland, we never miss the opportunity to go here. From the kind and amazing people who own and operate this one of a kind place, to the insanely creative and outrageously delicious food - Ko’s is top of the list, always. Everything on their menu is delicious, but the Sushi Burger is where our heart is. Thank you Ko’s!!! You are all so amazing and we love you!!“

“Best Japanese restaurant in Port Coquitlam. My colleagues and I come here for lunch. Good food, friendly staff. Only con is sometimes the wait for your food can be long if it's busy.“

“The food was great. The owner and staff were very kind and service was above and beyond. Friendly and nice atmosphere in the restaurant.“

“**Amazing First Visit!**

It was my first time at this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!! I’ll definitely be coming back! ❤“

“Super cute little sushi resteraunt with fresh and filling sushi. My only complaint is that we asked to add mango to the yam roll, which was only added to the two end pieces. We had the party tray A, which was shared between two people. We both left full and pleased. My little one enjoyed the miso soup (as did I). There were 3 bits of sponge like bits on top which I am unsure of what they were, but I ate them anyway as I assumed they were dehydrated tofu potentially? Either way it was piping hot, fresh and delicious! Will be back!“

“Lobster roll, Boston roll, and I’m going back for some other stuff that looks great“

“My son wanted me to write this review. He has yet to learn how to use chopsticks properly and really appreciated that they gave him the learner chopsticks. The server also gave him ice to add to his miso soup to cool it down. They were courteous and the food was delicious!

While we were eating, we noticed how kind they were with an older gentleman, who had ordered take out. With so many sushi places in Brookswood, I would recommend giving this one a try.“

“My meal came and it was appetizing and appealing to the eyes, so yummy looking !
I tried the chicken and it was crunchy and full of flavour, simply delicious. Oh yes and the sushi was fresh and yummy. I would highly recommend it. The place is clean and pleasant and the people who serve are friendly and the prices are excellent.“

“I placed a very large order with a complicated request on packing it all (so our pick up and distribution was easier). The food was absolutely fantastic! It was fresh and pretty in design, and absolutely spot on fullfilled my packing requests. They even provided complimentary items in appreciation <3 The owners were such lovely people and gave a very personal touch to the order. I absolutely recommend Togo Plus in Brookswood. I will use them for all of our sushi orders from now on. * 6 stars for Togo :)“

“Been going to this place for a long time. Ordered a spicy tuna roll, among other things, it was different..the sauce..idk just didn't taste the same. Other than that was great.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“I am always looking for great sushi/Japanese places to try. And this place is one of the best. Gorgeous presentation, even more delicious food. Super friendly staff. We tried their new Lotus Roll and it was super good. Be warned if you get one of their dinner box's be prepared to be very full or take left overs home with you.“

“Sunday morning is such a good time to hit up Hitori, way less crowded so we got a table right away without a wait. My friends and I split the salmon oshi sushi and the chirashi bowl and everything was so fresh, you could tell it wasn't sitting around. The staff was genuinely friendly too, they walked us through a few menu items we hadn't tried before without making us feel rushed. Parking behind the building was easy to find which made the whole morning even more relaxed, we'll definitely be back for another weekend brunch here.“

“We love our Noma! It is always fresh and delicious! I love the variety - you can choose among various types of rolls but also udons, yakisoba, soups etc.. we are happy to have such a great place with reasonable prices in our plaza!!“

“Such a steal of a lunch combo! Food came out within 5 minutes or so (they had only been open for an hour), big portion of sashimi and tempura was nice and light. They gave my toddler some kid friendly chopsticks, plastic cup and plate. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Overall, great experience. I had takeout and it was a very easy process, especially because the wrapping was strong and leak proof. This is important to me because I have to walk to my house. Prices were very competitive. One thing, is that I would not eat-in because the atmosphere is not attractive.“

“Recommend Sushi Gio! Great service, great food and great prices. Amazing staff and pleasant atmosphere. When you order a pop it comes with a glass with ice instead of just a can like other places. Daughter says the washrooms had a good vibe and that she wants to recommend and she gives it five stars!“

“I liked that the restaurant offers private seating areas with curtains, which made the dining experience feel more comfortable and intimate.

The food was decent overall. One suggestion would be to add a sauce to the Super Mango Roll, as I found it a bit dry without one. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.“

“Awesomeness in a roll or a bowl!! Great service and atmosphere.“

“I drove by this place so many times, finally went in for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed tue experience. The tepanyaki Chef was truly amazing, has his cooking down expertly. The food was great, had the filet mignon with shrimp and filet mignon with scallops. They start with fried rice done in a very entertaining way. The steak was cooked to perfection. Seafood was cooked perfectly also. A remarkable dining experience for sure. I would have given 5 stars however, had been to tepanyaki that is extraordinary, so cannot rank this one among them but all that aside, this is as good as we can get in this country.“

“They have good offers, tasty food and friendly crew.

This is my 3rd time coming here and I was happy with their offers.

Teriyaki Tuesday offer is really good if you don’t have time and room for big lunch. Only 10$ for combo!“
