“I had such a lovely dining experience here recently. The food was presented beautifully, especially the roll topped with shrimp and slices of avocado which was perfectly plated with a slice of fresh lemon.

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“Always superb sushi ! Rolls ! Tempura ! Too good“

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!

Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.

Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!“

“We’ve been going to Ko’s since we were 16 years old - we’re in our mid 30s now and living far away, but every time we make it back to the mainland, we never miss the opportunity to go here. From the kind and amazing people who own and operate this one of a kind place, to the insanely creative and outrageously delicious food - Ko’s is top of the list, always. “My son wanted me to write this review. He has yet to learn how to use chopsticks properly and really appreciated that they gave him the learner chopsticks. The server also gave him ice to add to his miso soup to cool it down. They were courteous and the food was delicious!

While we were eating, we noticed how kind they were with an older gentleman, who had ordered take out. With so many sushi places in Brookswood, I would recommend giving this one a try.“

“Super cute little sushi resteraunt with fresh and filling sushi. My only complaint is that we asked to add mango to the yam roll, which was only added to the two end pieces. We had the party tray A, which was shared between two people. We both left full and pleased. My little one enjoyed the miso soup (as did I). There were 3 bits of sponge like bits on top which I am unsure of what they were, but I ate them anyway as I assumed they were dehydrated tofu potentially? Either way it was piping hot, fresh and delicious! Will be back!“

“I was near Iron Chef Sushi when I decided to go get dinner and didn't feel like searching all over Fort Langley for a restaurant. To my surprise, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, even though it was right next to the Jazz & Art Festival.

I ordered the Tuna & Salmon Chirashi along with the Crazy Boy Sushi Roll. The chirashi was excellent—the fish was fresh and flavourful, and the fermented sushi rice complemented it perfectly. The Crazy Boy Roll was just as enjoyable, with well-balanced ingredients that worked nicely with the rice.

The service was attentive and efficient, and I never found myself waiting for anything. While the restaurant doesn't have the most traditional Japanese ambiance—smooth jazz was playing during my visit—it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere, which I appreciated.

Overall, Iron Chef Sushi is a very good Japanese restaurant in Fort Langley. The quality of the food and the great service made for an enjoyable dining experience, and I'd be happy to return.“

“I placed a very large order with a complicated request on packing it all (so our pick up and distribution was easier). The food was absolutely fantastic! It was fresh and pretty in design, and absolutely spot on fullfilled my packing requests. They even provided complimentary items in appreciation <3 The owners were such lovely people and gave a very personal touch to the order. I absolutely recommend Togo Plus in Brookswood. I will use them for all of our sushi orders from now on. * 6 stars for Togo :)“

“Been going to this place for a long time. Ordered a spicy tuna roll, among other things, it was different..the sauce..idk just didn't taste the same. Other than that was great.“

“Such a steal of a lunch combo! Food came out within 5 minutes or so (they had only been open for an hour), big portion of sashimi and tempura was nice and light. They gave my toddler some kid friendly chopsticks, plastic cup and plate. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Landed in Langley last weekend visiting from Alberta and my cousin insisted we try Hitori for dinner around 7pm, glad we listened because the place was packed but they still got us seated fast. The chirashi bowl was easily the freshest raw fish I've had outside of actually being on the coast, and the miso soup that came with it was a nice touch. Staff were really attentive without being pushy, checked on us a couple times but never made us feel rushed even though people were waiting for tables. Parking behind the building was surprisingly easy to find too, which made the whole night stress free.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

The food was decent overall. One suggestion would be to add a sauce to the Super Mango Roll, as I found it a bit dry without one. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.“
