“First time coming here, didnt have any expectations. Decent food and its like food court style dining area.
The staff were nice. The ramen came out pretty fast but rolls combo took awhile. Although i got complimentary cali rolls so its okay. Next time im jn the area, i Would come by again to try their special rolls.“

“I’ve been coming to Sanjo Sushi for a while and the sushi quality is always really fresh. I’ve dined in and tried their teishoku, which was very good and nicely put together.

Their lunch bentos are one of my favourites. They are great value and very satisfying. I’ve also tried Sushi Well next door, but honestly it wasn’t as good as Sanjo in terms of freshness and overall quality.

My only wish is that they offered a dinner bento for takeout, since I don’t always have time to dine in. Other than that, it’s a solid spot that I keep coming back to.“

“This is some of the best food I’ve ever had! The man that was there is the cashier, waiter, chef and owner!!! He’s very friendly and is also busy, the food is definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s peaceful, and quiet. For a small business, it feels extremely professional. The food was also very affordable. As someone visiting Vancouver, I was expecting to pay $$$$$ on everything, but this place made me feel comfortable, and let me feel good about spending my money, along with the food be very very good. If I was a local to the area I’d definitely make this my regular spot to grab a bite. If you ever have the chance, go and grab some food and support this business.

“UNDER RATED! My favourite sushi place in new west, if you’re looking for affordable healthy food (or not so healthy) look no further. Their house salad is the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life. The staff are very nice, it’s incredibly affordable, it’s real cute too. But the fooodddddd omggggggg I can go there and fill up on sushi for like 10 bucks? Depending on how fancy I go. There’s an awesome variety. I literally don’t eat raw fish and I’m a pretty picky eater. But literally every time I go I find something new I like and I’ve been there so many times. It’s also so chill in there because not enough people come, so you have space and don’t feel rushed. Sometimes I just draw there and eat sushi for like hours.“

I am a huge sushi lover and I’m always on a hunt 🙂 I work in the area and came across this place: what a luck!
Absolutely delicious rolls and my personal favourites are their Philadelphia and California (yes, a regular simple California tastes so very special, I can’t get enough!) My fav order is a three rolls combo: California - Philadelphia - Spicy tuna. Delicious!

“To be honest, this was a place I used to order for quantity not for quality.(felt like it was a factory.) However, I clearly saw the huge difference in quality and portion! Whatever it happened (maybe different owner..?), we are so happy to have good sushi restaurants in neighborhoods! One day, we ordered two small orders within 30mins because it was great and we got the bigger craving for salmon.👍“
