“Lovely place, so atmospheric. When we came in we had a hearty greeting from the staff! Food was great, many choices available, and it all came in quickly. The only thing I found wanting was pictures in the menu—it would’ve been nice to see exactly what I was ordering. Otherwise, a darling place to have dinner with friends!“

“Kinton Ramen is a great restaurant in the heart of King George. Located just minutes off the skytrain line it's very accessible. The food is amazing. Across all the times I've been here, there has been consistently zero issues with the food itself (outside of wrong items), and more than just that, the quality is extremely high. The various different menu options don't disappoint, regardless of what you order.

Service is... mixed. While Staff are always friendly and professional, there have been semi-frequent issues with the ordered items. For example, getting a Shoyu Ramen instead of a Miso Ramen, or receiving a regular Coke instead of a Diet Coke, which could cause issues with allergies or food restrictions if the Customer can't or doesn't know how to recognize the issue on sight.

The Atmosphere for the restaurant is excellent, however it can be tough to sit down for an extended time. The tables are relatively small, and all seats are stools without backs. There is a small space under each stool to place some personal belongings but nowhere to place a winter coat, for example. The provided space wouldn't be sufficient. It does give a feeling of wanting you to eat, and then leave quickly, rather than take your time and enjoy the food and time with those who might be with you.

Overall, I'm giving this location 4 stars for now, with a hope that it will improve to 5 in the future!“

“I ordered omakase nigiri, mackerel and eel hako sushi, black cod saikyo yaki, and agedashi-tofu to takeout for our anniversary dinner. All of them are amazing! Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! If you are looking for the real Japanese amazing sushi, I strongly recommend Yugafu!“

“Nice Sushi is one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The portions are very generous! Every time I come here, I leave completely full (and happily so!). The fish is fresh, the rolls are well made, and you truly get great value for what you pay.
What really sets this place apart is the warm and thoughtful service. The staff are always friendly and care about their customers. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in.
I also really appreciate how Nice Sushi actively supports the local community, including sponsoring events and activities for nearby elementary schools. It means a lot to see a local business giving back and supporting families and kids in the neighborhood.

“We were going to the sushi place across 160th it said it was open, but it wasn't. I had looked at Tobiko's Web site by mistake .Realising what I had done, we pulled up to try Tobikos for our first time and despite a large group of Filipino's showing up unexpectedly our waitress handled it well . Great food , good service and it looks like weve found our new favorite Sushi Restaurant, good job guys“

“Fresh, quick, and friendly. Everything was really good.
I loved the miso soup — it had tofu, green onions, and seaweed, which is exactly how I like it.
The negitoro roll was really good, and the wasabi was perfect for me.
The rainbow roll was the perfect size, had great variety, stayed intact and was delicious.
Everything was spot on and under $20

I also liked that they had quite a few sushi roll options that did not include imitation crab meat, I find that so many sushi places now just have rolls where the filling is only imitation crab. “We(family) went there for dinner for the first time last week. For us leaving this review was quite easy. Food was tasty. Service was very prompt and fast. The portions were great and price was affordable and for me great for the portion and taste they served. The place and seating looks a bit worn but it was neat although cold air was coming through the heating vents for quite some time when they switched on the heater that kept us cold for longer than expected. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes. BTW I never thought my fav friend rice will be from a Japanese restaurant. I liked it. Teriyaki beef and Donburi was good too.“

Fast friendly service for a family of 6. I ordered the single size spicy chirashi salad bowl, it was huge! Full of fresh sashimi. Family all enjoyed their meals as well: Reno and sockeye rolls, two ebi sunomono salads (at least 8 pieces of shrimp), karaage, California rolls for the kids, miso soup, chicken roll and fighting shrimp roll.

“Love the sushi. The Toro and Salmon nigiri have the biggest cuts of fish I have seen other than the Tokyo Fish Market. The restaurant accidentally forgot to throw in one of my rolls on a takeout order, and they delivered it to my house in less than 10 mins… felt more like 5 mins.“

Kami is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. I tried their sushi rolls and tempura, both were perfectly made and bursting with taste. The portions are a bit less as compared to other Japanese restaurants.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out.

My spouse liked the Chicken Katsu a lot; the meat was tender but cooked properly. I'm vegetarian, and I really like their spin on a yam tempura roll. They had many vegetarian options, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful when I needed help selecting items. If I had to give some constructive criticism, I would say:
1. The decor is a bit strange and disjointed. It feels more like a trendy coffee bar than a sushi spot.
2. Marking vegetarian options clearly is always helpful! Some places do this with a V, or with a leaf. You could also consider marking allergens like eggs or nuts.“

“A hidden gem in the Surrey Central area with quality sushi and fast, friendly service all for reasonable prices.I love eating from here and have gone 3 or 4 times now, ordering their Salmon Combo usually and seaweed salad- both of which are filling and quite delicious. The california roll is made with soft white and fluffy rice and the classic california filling. The nigiri is fresh and yummy. The service is fast and friendly, the lady who runs the store is very nice and the man who makes the sushi does a careful job. Do not hesitate to order.“
