A bit disappointed to see that they don't really have Shanghainese food here, but they are quite generous with the portion sizes! “Walking through this beautiful temple area to find the restaurant was already a beautiful experience. The restaurant is only open for lunch only. We enjoyed the kindness of the volunteer ladies serving the food. The dim sum platter, radish cake and noodles with vegetables and tofu were tasty with fresh ingredients. “This is the best steamed chicken I’ve ever had. It was incredibly juicy and tender, with so much flavor that no sauce was needed. It tasted amazing on its own.
The other dishes were good as well, but the steamed chicken was definitely the highlight. The salted egg yolk fried shrimp was delicious, and the coconut chicken soup was also a great choice. I’d come back again just for the chicken.“

The salt & chili squid is well-seasoned and is very crispy. The sweet & sour pork is also well-seasoned and soft. The staff were friendly and hospitable , even when it got a bit busy during our visit.“

“I have been coming to this restaurant since the day they took over from pita pit, and I have nvr had a single bad meal from this amazing place, they put so much care into every dish, the owner Brian works daily to ensure quality and production is at customer satisfactory level, and they always go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met everytime! Great clean atmosphere, and absolutely lovely staff tending to the tills!

“This is as good as HK, we were so tired of western food this takes me to my HK trip and as good as top restaurant in Bangkok. Big Dishes and very value to money. But I kinda get the review about the customer service is not the best but it's straight to the point not pressure by tip. I can accept -17% with this customer service.“

The boy working the front end, phones lacks any kind of customer service skills. We've had poor customer service issues. Best to pay with debit or credit or he may not have change & will keep extra as his tip, not deserved. The food however is amazing! Kudos to the cooks!“
