“I had high hopes for this restaurant. Everyone has been talking about it!! It didn't disappoint in a lot of ways. Butter beef was delicious(amazing), beef luc lac was really good as well (but not amazing), two kind of dry noodle??(forgot the exact name but this was just okay to mediocre imo)
And people were going nuts over the wings but they were just okay. I forgot but had better wings(similar style too!!) In Ontario(I wanna say somewhere in marhkam)

I am tempted to try again few more times to explorer to see if there are other dishes that would amaze me. If I can find one more like that, definitely 5 stars.“

“We live in North Shore and are regulars at Wooden Fish and this is our first time at Pho and Roll. Very impressed with their food and atmosphere. More upscale than Wooden Fish but both are excellent. We were worried about parking but had no issues finding a spot right away on a side street (lots of parking on the side streets and parking lots as well). We will return.“

“We had the BEST feed last night from Ongba. Coming home from our Fringe run we were too tired to cook - and boy am I glad. The portions were generous, the rolls on the Banh Mi were so fresh, loved all the pickled bits and curry mayo...the Prawn Salad rolls with dipping sauce were huge and tasty...it was exactly what we wanted. The guy on the phone made double sure he had our order correct which I appreicated. Such a cute place (with patio) but we got takeout so nobody had to watch us gobble it down like animals. Great to take to the beach too. 😋 Highly recommend!“

“As I was looking for something different while visiting here in Vancouver, I ran across Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. My lunch special was 2 porkchops, with 2 crispy spring rolls, salad, and rice. Additionally I ordered a mago shake/smoothie. All the food was excellent and prepared perfectly. Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant has a warm and pleasant atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating available.
I returned this evening and enjoyed crispy spring rolls and fried calamari rings. If you ever had to chew tough calamari then this was NOT the case. My calamari was tender and tasty!
My conversation with one of the owners, Winston, was relaxed and friendly, confirming to me that this family restaurant should be highly recommended. I will be back when I visit Vancouver again!“

“We ate at this place several times over the course of five days during our trip to Vancouver, and we were really happy with it. The food was always well-prepared and delicious. Everything looked fresh and nicely presented. The prices were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the quality.

The service was consistently good, and the atmosphere was bright, clean, and welcoming — clearly recently renovated. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated.

One of our favorite things was how convenient everything was: you can help yourself to as much soy sauce as you need, refill your water on your own, and just feel comfortable. And don’t even get me started on the ice cream — absolutely delicious!

All in all, we were very satisfied with this place. It’s honestly a bit sad to be leaving Vancouver and not having it nearby anymore!“

The baguette was amazing, the meatballs were savory with authentic Vietnamese toppings and I love that they used Vietnamese Banh Mi. Bun Bo Hue was good but nothing out of this world, I still think you can get a more authentic taste elsewhere. I ordered their Rare Beef Pho through Doordash and it was tasty. However, the order wasn’t packed carefully so the soup leaked out. Overall, this is a decent place, they just need to improve on packing to-go orders tho.“

“Chill restaurant, I had the vegetable pho with chicken added to it. Really good if you want something with vegetables but still want meat. I was unsure how the broth would taste as it was a tomato and squash flavour. It’s hard to describe, it’s very flavourful, it’s not a watery type of broth. “I've been coming here for about 10 years and I've never been disappointed. Their 3 meat on rice with an egg is my always go to dish but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like family. It's a family run and owned business that serves up authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Must try place that is also on doordash.

Parking: there is a parking lot and direct access from the back as well as being surround by residential streets and Victoria. Sometimes you have you park a bit further into residential but the walk isn't that bad.

“Five stars and my new favorite pho spot! As someone who loves pho and grew up with my mom's amazing cooking, Pho Zen has exceeded all my expectations. I've now tried the special spicy pho, and it was absolutely fantastic. The broth had incredible depth and flavor. I've also had their rice dish with pork and chicken, and seriously, the rice itself was so flavourful on its own. The banh mi was so good too. I highly recommend this place. “This place is known for one thing only.
The bun bo hue. Upon entering it's nothing fancy, which is fine. You get a small menu, very simple. I opted to try their famous bbh. I was feeling tired so I got the viet ice coffee.

BBH comes and wow, pretty good. The only downside for me is that the broth could've been hotter. It's not as spicey as I thought it would be, but that's fine, they gave chili's on the side. The iced coffee done to standard, delicious.

Service is well... standard but that doesn’t discourage me. They weren't rude. I'll definitely come back if I crave bbh. It’s a great find!“

“What an absolute hidden gem. The Tofu Bahn Mi was quite possibly the best one I've ever had! The sandwich was stuffed with fresh ingredients and was served on garlic bread!! Honestly, such a game changer, the flavours were perfect. With big portions, it was also a pretty good value. I will definitely be returning.“
