“I think Prime Pizza is the best New York style pizza you can get in the LA area. The pizza is really crispy, and they offer both round and square pies. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. My go to slices are the spicy pepperoni, classic cheese, and pepperoni. The hoagie is also very good and worth trying.

The parking lot itself is small, but street parking is easy and usually not a far walk. Beyond the food, this location feels very community driven. You can really see it with Pasadena and Altadena merch being sold and the overall neighborhood vibe from the people here.

Seating is outdoor only in a patio setup, and they have a big TV outside where they show sports, which adds to the experience. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.“

“Best pub in the Altadena area. It is a family run business, and really, a more traditional "public house." Not too many places like this around! Guiness and other European ales on tap. Nice selection of wines too. Say hi to Judah, Gail & family and help support Altadena!“

“This place was wonderful! We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond — they even gave us the best booth in the house. Multiple team members wished him a happy birthday, which was so sweet.😊

The food was to die for! We had the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, burrata, Margherita pizza, and Funghi pizza — everything was absolutely incredible.

“cute tucked away place. Have picked up and ordered to sit down! It's outdoor seating only. It's a hidden place. Parking may or may not be hard. But I just walk a half block. I like it. People working there are nice for Pick up, Too Good to Go and also to eat there as a regular customer!“

I’ve also come by at night and the whole area is activated with night market, bars etc. Also have taken pizza to go or by the slice. “We love the ambience at gra. And I’m so happy to see more restaurants coming into the many vacant storefronts in this neighborhood. Gra has an incredible vibe. Wonderful service and unbelievably great music. We do wish for two things though. We love traditional full-bodied reds by the glass. They are hard to come by. We also love fresh vegetables, and as much as we love the fermented veggies we’d love to mix it up with more variety. Looking forward to becoming loyal, patrons and exploring this restaurant more.“

“We were in town from Palm Springs for the day and went to Little Goat after finding it online. One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town! We will try the house made panna cotta next time. :) Highly recommend checking them out!“

“Alitalia Pizza is literally the only place we pick up pizza! The crust is delicious as is their sauce and fresh ingredients, definitely different than your average pizza. They also have many other options and we often order a salad on the side. Their salads are large and always, consistently fresh. They don’t cut corners and the owners and staff could not be more accommodating and delightful! Great local business to support and a hidden gem if you have not tried it!“

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

It was the perfect mixture of sauce , cheese and veggies. The crust was cooked perfectly.The cheese was brought out to the edges.The vegetables were scattered evenly from rim to middle. “How didn’t we know about this pizza before??? Well, we know now! It’s a very non pretentious place, with very direct and promising menu. We tried the PINEAPPLE, PROSCIUTTO AND JALAPENO pizza and the ROASTED MUSHROOM AND SHALLOT. Both were absolutely delicious. The dough was just right and also very tasty. Price was surprisingly low.
We’ll be back to try more of the menu.
