“My husband and I moved to Minnesota but every time we are back in LA visiting family, we ALWAYS stop by Mui Sushi. I love their crabmeat. I’m a big sushi lover and crabmeat is always a hit or miss for me. I recommend the snowcone roll if you like crabmeat 👍“

“Decided to pass by tomorrow and see how good the pho is because I know som great pho place is Alhambra. They had different item I wanted to try but my focus was on the pho. I order sat down , 5 mins later the food arrived. A good pho must have a good broth , it was ok ,I give it 3/5 the pho noodles was right on the money , but will say to a bit more noodles lol feel like it had a bit less or maybe I ate it fast and I didn't notice it 😂😂😂 the beef was nice and tender but also feel like it was a bit of beef 😂 who knows 😏 didn't taste that much spices on the broth. Or maybe this is how they make there pho broth. Overall 4/5 because I still enjoyed it ,the Thai tea was good also wasn't that sweet like other place they give you Thai tea and it felt like it was Thai tea leaf not that podwer Thai tea. I recommend you guys to come give it try , we all have different taste , you may like it or not , it all depends on you. I know I'm coming back to try their other items that good my attention 👀“

“Not a big fan of sitting on the side of street where people walk by and you intake that fumes coming from all these traffic. Got to sit inside by the bar, the food here is okay, but a bit pricey for what it's worth. Been to many affordable to very expensive sushi places in the U.S. and in Asia, this place is more IG/social media friendly picturesque place than an actual sushi/sashimi place. Not much nigiri/sashimi choices. Not a big fan of places that sell pre-made canned alcohol with an extreme markup.“

“Bento boxes are of great quality here. The attention to detail of this curated meal definitely lets your eyes feast first. All the little sides taste amazing, especially the candied sweet potatoes. The vegetables alternate between sweet and salty to balance out the meal. The Scottish salmon and mackerel are cooked to perfection. The little yolk in the rice also adds a nice touch to mix in and eat.“

It is still family run, and everything I tried was excellent. The chicken and egg bowl was enough for two meals. The potato croquettes were delicious. I also like the variety of sauces and toppings available at the tables. Street parking was easy to find.“

“Really good sushi and kushiyaki. Rolls were well executed but uninspired. Excellent chutoro, king salmon, and kanpachi which can be hard to find at reasonable prices. Service was good but it was really hot inside and the propped door just wafted in pot smoke from outside. Didn’t see any off-street parking but it’s only steps from the little Tokyo metro station which makes it easy to get there without a car, something Angelenos could learn a thing or two about.“

“We had an excellent experience at Niku X tonight. Kevin, our server, was outstanding—attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire meal. He checked in often, answered all of our questions with patience, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

Julian, who guided us through the tomahawk experience, was equally impressive. He walked us through each cut in detail and shared insights on the different salts they offer, which added a great touch to the experience. “I’ve been coming to sushi rolland for a while now, and I’d say, I’m pretty satisfied! I’ve been impressed by the freshness of the their fish, especially their salmon. I LOVE salmon, and their salmon is buttery and very good quality. For their price and quality, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. I’ve tried their salmon delight, crunch roll, dragon roll, blossom roll, salmon avocado combo, combo an and combo c. I tried out their new menu today, the salmon crunch, and I really liked it (apologies for the half eaten picture). Might be my new go to menu item. I really the fried onions on there. I always like getting their miso soup, such a good combination with the sushi. Highly recommend their combo plate, especially combo A!“

“Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

Doesn't cost a fortune, service is amazing, it's Japanese-American but you feel like you're getting the same service you would get in Japan and a kitchen staff are very attentive and communicative. “Fresh fish, good rice, excellent customer service. Premade basic rolls in the fridge are always good quality. Sashimi is sushi grade so no weird cuts mixed in. Yellow tail collars are meaty for broiling and include side pieces that you can scrape off to make hand rolls or mix up as spicy yellowtail to top your rolls with. I always get those for a nice simple dinner at home. See pics.“

“Came in for a conference and had lunch at Momi Sushi after checking into our hotel. We tried the sashimi sampler, miso soup, fish of the day nigiri and the tamago nigiri. Everything was incredibly fresh, accented with light complimentary flavors. I loved the dine-in ice bowls for the sashimi. Well worth it. If we have time before we have to go home, we will definitely be back.“

“Sushi & Teriyaki Plus is a great place to dine, have delivery or take away. It is an adorable. It is not large. Parking is easy and free.

There really is nothing you will not like there. Personally, we consider the shrimp tempura to be the best. But they have a great menu and you will find something you want. We also love their seaweed salad and their fried rice. It is all just great.

Their tuna sushi and their California roll are perfect.

The service is ever so friendly and they are fast. You order at the counter and they will call you when it is ready.

The place is just cute, not too big and not too small. The prices are fair. If you are in Downey this is a must stop. Have the best time. You will love it.“

“Chinchikurin was my first ever Hiroshima style okonomiyaki. I've had the Osaka version in Japan many years ago, but haven't had okonomiyaki of any kind in the US since. So this experience was definitely fun. The food was very tasty and well built. I ordered the Loaded Kaisen, which was the seafood okonomiyaki as part of the 11-layer savory pancake. It was very filling. After the cooks make the okonomiyaki at the main teppan grill, you eat it at your own personal grill at your table, which keeps your order nice and warm. Be sure to put a lot of the mayo and otafuku sauce atop it to make the flavor even bolder and more exciting. If you've never had okonomiyaki before, Chinchikurin is a great place to start. There are very few of these kinds of restaurants in LA, so Chinchikurin is a very unique Japanese cuisine in Little Tokyo worth scoping out. “Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“
