“This place is one of the best whisky bars I've ever been to. They have a phenomenal selection across styles and ages, including some rare releases from closed down distilleries, or some vintage bottles you can enjoy as cocktails. The staff are super welcoming. The bar is relaxed and if you didn't look at the drinks closely, you might think it's a dive bar (in the best possible way). Definite recommend for a chance to try some special drinks.“

“This is a classic place that I hadn’t been to since I was in college. It hasn’t changed a bit. The decor is really cool and the food is very good. Prices are a little bit high, considering what you get. Service was good, but not great. I was surprised at how long it took for the food to get there. The servers and staff were very nice. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out.“

“We went in 7/11 to watch Norway and England game and it was very fun. The food was delicious. I got the brisket sandwich and mmm mmm mmm it was TENDER. The service was wonderful. I want to genuinely thank the waitress who literally walked me to the bathroom so I wouldn’t have to face the throng of passionate fans. That was above and beyond and just very kind. Thank you. “Saw Jazz is Dead with Marcos Valle last night, excellent show, great concert space. Friendly front of house staff, excellent audio. It's a great space to get up close to your favorite artists. The wafting 420 smoke was problematic as I was seated in the first set of seats above the open floor. It challenged my sobriety, I had to move elsewhere. Stronger vent system maybe?“

“We stopped by East Bay Spices while we were at a concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, and we’re so glad we did. The cocktails were amazing, and the food was delicious. I tried the paneer tacos and my wife had the empanada — we both really enjoyed everything.

The staff was very friendly, and even though the food took a little longer than expected, the quality was absolutely worth it. Special thanks to the bartender and the whole team for the great experience. We’ll definitely be back!“

“While looking for lunch and a drink while watching the World Cup, I stumbled upon Cali Sports Bar and Kitchen for the first time. It was a fun place. Good food, a great selection of adult beverages and a great atmosphere. The servers gave wonderful service and made our lunch great experience.“

“Really nice friendly vibes. I like how the environment and music was while I played on one of their many pool tables. The bartender (Andre) was attentive and friendly. He is also engaging and has allot of knowledge about drinks. He helped guide my experience and we decided on a Manhattan (which was perfect). I will definitely return soon!!!“

“OMG! I had the BEST sandwich of my life last night at Jazzcaffé! We came for a performance at The Freight and I needed something more than pizza and pretzels. I walked down Addison to this amazing cafe and ordered the Hen of the Woods mushroom sandwich on a toasted bagel. It was SO delicious in a greens marinade. I will go back to Berkeley this week JUST for another mushroom sandwich. Amazing chef and she is so thoughtful. Every person leaving the cafe raved about how delicious their food was.
