The crust was lovely too. If I were to grumble about one thing, it would be the cost. The pizza, delivery, and tip ran $50. An amazing dining experience and the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had full stop - Priceless!

My second time here and much more of an intimate experience because I was by myself killing some time before I met friends at the Freight and Salvage.

My pizza was cooked perfectly - just the way I like it with some of the edges of the nickel sized pepperoni's a bit charged and bursting with flavor. The sauce, obviously an old family recipe had been cooking for hours and had a deep rich flavor. And the crust- ohh the crust held up well to the tomato sauce and had a chewy and crisp texture.

The kind young lady who was serving me was confident I could finish the Tiramisu no matter how full I was. She was right.

Matt says if you find yourself headed to downtown Berkeley either for a Cal event or to the Freight and Salvage, be sure to make reservations in advance and feast on some of the best pizza in the Bay Area. It's a small space and fills up fast

“I realized that over the years I had accumulated over 7,000 points and decided to see what I got get and to my surprise I was eligible for a large spealty pizza of my choice for 4,500 points and I got a couple of ice cream deserts too for 1,000 points each however when I tried to put the order through a little pop up sign comes up and says I need to spend at least $14 or $15 to have my order go through. This got me upset because why have all these points for if you are going to charge me anyways so instead I wrote out some feedback and left the site. To my surprise a staff memeber called me back and made things right all I did was pay for the delivey service at $7.50 which was totally understandable and I got all the stuff I wanted. Cheers to the manager and the staff who took care and made me feel like I was important so now even more so I will continue to be a regular customer and of course their pizza is great! “I LOVE this pizza. Knuckle head flavor is my favorite (sausage, red onion, mushrooms). A lot of meat eaters and vegetarians love and prefer their Margherita. It's a thin pizza, similar to New York, I hear. Love their crust. Quality ingredients. Eat it fast as it cools down quickly. Careful with the first slice as the crust is very thin and the toppings can slide off. I love that we can enjoy beverages at Fieldwork and enjoy Citizen Pizza at the tables. I prefer their knucklehead, but my partner prefers Margherita. So, what to do? No worries! Depending on which you pick, you can get these two flavors, one flavor on each half of the pizza - half and half. They'll just charge you for the pricier costing one.

This place has the best snacks too tho with empanadas, sandwiches etc. I got a heavenly dew smoothie😭😭😭🫡🔥🔥🔥🔥it is so good omg it is like somehow birthday cake flavor and there was a mistake either the app ordering so they gave me a free cupcake 😂. “Amazing food. Love all the vegan options. Especially vegan sauces, that's always a hard find. Nice and spacious. Great atmosphere. They have games and a full club situation downstairs. Highly suggest for a quick slice or a late night. They make everything fresh in house. The chef takes a lot of pride in his work, I was able to chat with him during a sample give away day. Everything is made from scratch. They bread their chicken in house. Really delicious, and prideful food. Not necessarily the cheapest place on the block, but definitely the most delicious and deliberate. Absolutely worth the price, and it's not expensive, it's just in comparison. “It was yesterday morning when my daughter asked me where I wanted to go for breakfast. After naming a few places, my daughter asked if I was interested in going to Fourth Street in Berkeley. I replied that that was a fabulous idea. As soon as we arrived on Fourth Street, we were thrilled to find a parking space a few steps from Oceanview To Go.

The place was packed. My daughter immediately registered us. It was going to be about a 20-minute wait. Twenty minutes later, the server approached and asked us if we would like to be seated at the counter or at a booth, in which case there would be an additional 10-minute wait. We, of course, opted to be seated at the counter, and that turned out to be an amazing experience because while we were waiting for our food to be prepared, we had a full view of the kitchen area and watched the entire scene of the execution from beginning to end of the diner chefs in action in preparing food for a full house of hungry customers, and for the servers to double-check the order before picking up the plates to deliver them to the customers in the booths.

While being entertained and taking photos, our server brought us our food. My daughter ordered the omelet with a side order of beans, and I ordered the pasilla-chicken sandwich. My daughter was a happy camper with her order, and so was I with mine.

There was an interesting dish that the chef prepared, of which I wasn't able to take a photo, unfortunately. We were puzzled by what the dish was; it had the circumference of a whole pie or cake. Perhaps on our next visit, we might order it and take a photo of it if my daughter's friends join us for lunch since it would be too huge for two people to consume it.
