“Yesterday my friends and I went to your restaurant. I tried brioche French toast (banana foster 🍌 with strawberries 🍓 and whipped cream). WOW 😲! It was very delicious 😋, well-flavored, light, spongy, melt in your mouth, irresistible 😁, and heavenly 😇. I loved it 🥰. And sugar free vanilla latte, very good 😊 and comforting ☺️. Your restaurant is amazing 🤩 and peaceful. You have a great service 😃. Your employer is kind and courteous. I hope you in other occasion.“

“We Googled “best breakfast in San Diego” and Hanna’s popped up, so we figured, why not? Lucky enough to find parking on Adams Ave and, even better, no wait to get seated.
We tried the carrot pancakes, vegetarian omelet with mushrooms (with a little not-so-vegetarian bacon), and the green chilaquiles. All three were really good, with plenty of flavor and satisfying portions. The waitress and the rest of the staff were genuinely friendly, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Definitely a spot we’d happily come back to for breakfast!“

“Shout out to Gideon and his team at Morning Glory! Pre-birthday brunch with friends. It's been awhile since I've eaten here but I saw that they offered afternoon reservations on Open Table, so it was a great opportunity to revisit this fun and eclectic restaurant! Service was amazing thanks to Kaylee (sp?) and everyone who brought out our dishes were stars! Our group ordered the Chicken and Waffles, Breakfast Carbonara, Shrimp Polenta, soufflé pancakes, and sides of hashed potatoes and jalapeño glazed bacon. YUM, YUM, YUM! Brunch cocktails were tasty and decorative depending on what you ordered. I'm sorry I've been away so long but will plan to visit again and again.“

We always make a point to go when we are in San Diego for over 16 years now.
Sadly something happened to the cinnamon rolls. My husband always gets the cinnamon roll French toast and if we don't order rolls for the table, and make a point to take some home. They were always incredibly good, delicious and fresh but I don't know if the recipe changed, but they were not that good.
Hopefully next time we visit, they will be.“

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“Wonderful breakfast and drinks. I tried the birria chilaquiles and the pancakes 🥞 as well as the whiskey sunny Side Up cocktail (the presentation is top tier). I was served by the server in training and she did a great job too. Wouldn't have guessed she was training if she didn't tell me lol. Overall recommend, chill vibes, cool aesthetic and great flavors.“

“This is our second time here and the food is so good, my boyfriend is picky and he really likes the food said it tastes like home cooked. We ordered I believe it was called the patron plate, the chilaquiles were so good (the poblano crema sauce) and their tamale de elite with salsa verde omg! All was very good“
“Loved this place! A no frills breakfast place that serves delicious breakfast is just what this area needed. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, great pancakes, and automatically came with cheesey potato’s. Generous portions but left not feeling too heavy. Great and quick service. I loved it, this will be my new go to breakfast spot.“

“This was my first visit to an IHop in 35 years. The servicer was Gisselle. She was professional, efficient, friendly and lovely. I had beef tips and eggs. The meat was tender, flavorful and perfectly prepared. The egg whites were perfect. My wife and two friends had equally great food. Frankly I was surprised at the quality.“
