“Yesterday my friends and I went to your restaurant. I tried brioche French toast (banana foster 🍌 with strawberries 🍓 and whipped cream). WOW 😲! It was very delicious 😋, well-flavored, light, spongy, melt in your mouth, irresistible 😁, and heavenly 😇. I loved it 🥰. And sugar free vanilla latte, very good 😊 and comforting ☺️. Your restaurant is amazing 🤩 and peaceful. You have a great service 😃. Your employer is kind and courteous. I hope you in other occasion.“

“Good food, I got the French toast and a danish. The prices here were fair compared to the surrounding breakfast places and the service was great. I would come back solely based on the service, the gentlemen working were very nice and all greeted everyone in the building with a smile. The cafe is located in the back of the big building, super easy to find once we looked at the prior reviews.“

“Wonderful breakfast and drinks. I tried the birria chilaquiles and the pancakes 🥞 as well as the whiskey sunny Side Up cocktail (the presentation is top tier). I was served by the server in training and she did a great job too. Wouldn't have guessed she was training if she didn't tell me lol. Overall recommend, chill vibes, cool aesthetic and great flavors.“

“I was looking for a breakfast spot with soufflé pancakes and Tappi’s Cafe popped up, so we made the 20-minute drive and it was totally worth it! The menu was super unique, and the Dubai Chocolate waffles were definitely the standout for me. It’s more of a no-frills spot but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great too. Shoutout to Mia for taking such good care of us. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their savory dishes!“

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“
“I have visited a few times with friends and with family. We love the decor, the food and drinks are great. Staff is friendly. It's smaller inside the restaurant but they do have a large outdoor patio for larger groups. Place is clean and cutely decorated. Would recommend to friends and family.“

“Loved this place! A no frills breakfast place that serves delicious breakfast is just what this area needed. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, great pancakes, and automatically came with cheesey potato’s. Generous portions but left not feeling too heavy. Great and quick service. I loved it, this will be my new go to breakfast spot.“

“Delicious selection of pancakes and Mexican favorites. I went with a party of 4 we had Banana pancakes chocolate chip pancakes, spinach and mushroom omelet and steak with chiliquiless and mole sauce. The food was very good and the service was excellent. This is always my first stop when visiting Chila Vista.“

“Hello, good afternoon, I would like to leave my opinion regarding the employee Patty, I always go every weekend with my family to enjoy the rich menu and customer service, I am very comfortable with the services that Patty offers, she is super cute, respectful and very friendly, she is always aware of customers if they need anything and any disagreement, she still gives the solution at the moment, that's why I always decide to return to breakfast every week. Thank you very much for having that type of employees working since customer service is one of the main requirements. I love Patty! Blessings“
