“Nice to little cafe inside the TD America building. I got the French toast special with both sausage and bacon. And then my friend got the waffle special. Everything was excellent. Eggs were scrambled perfect, sausage was flavorful, bacon was meaty and flavorful, and the French toast and waffles were both very good. We will definitely be back.“

“Pretty normal experience, it’s a classic and can never go wrong. In our case the place was packed but we just waited for 10 min approximately. The food was pretty average except for the prepared pancakes that are AMAZING, we recommend the strawberry shortcake pancakes which are really tasty. For tourists portions may be considered really big and exaggerated but honestly they are average American portions. Regarding the service, it was not really personalized since they were really busy, they take your order quickly and bring your food quickly and you may feel pressured by them to leave so they can bring their next table in, but expectations are like that everywhere you go when it’s packed.“

“Miguel our server was very nice and gave great recommendations. We got the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich and the border Benedict's and we had no complaints. I ate the border Benedict s and it was delicious. That chorizo patty was so damn good. Would definitely return.“

“As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. A great start to an even better meal! My fiancèe and I ordered the Honeymoon latte (vanilla latte sweetened with honey) and a Dirty Chai to start, both were super delicious, beautiful and handcrafted to perfection. For our meals my fiancèe ordered the Beefee Benedict which is served with Kufta (think Mediterranean "meatloaf" with robust herbs and spices) and a house blend cheese on top of English muffins and a made from scratch Hollandaise sauce. And I had ordered the Shakshuka "Special" which is on the regular menu, that's just how they named this dish and that comes with grilled onions and peppers, Kufta, two sunny side eggs in a rich and perfectly acidic tomato puree and houseblend cheese with a house made Bread dome on top of the whole dish. Delicious is an understatement, the food, the drinks the atmosphere, I mean everything fit so prefect. They have a little taste of different cultures and offer healthy alternatives and everything is made in house and I could not say anything bad about this place. 10 out of 10 recommend and we will definitely be coming back to try other amazing dishes.“

“I love this place. It’s my favorite place to have breakfast. I’ve been coming to Family house of pancakes for more than 25 years . I always have the Denver omelette and their chocolate pancakes are the best. My family loves the tropical pancakes as well. COME HERE!!!“

“Nice place in downtown-ish San Diego we stopped before heading to the airport.Sunday morning around 11, Service was super friendly, a little slow sometimes but Sundays are crazy. Skipped over us a few times. The food was good, the coffee was very good. Nice cappuccino. We had chilaquiles, tamales and pancakes. All were pretty good, certainly not the best we’ve had of any of the three but all high level and done well.Parking is pretty tough had to find a spot 2-3 blocks away. Which is fine.Overall we would definitely come back.“

“The short line outside gave it already away. This place is popular for a reason. Friendly staff and atmosphere. 1 point of because I had the yoghurt and the portion was a bit small (yes I can't believe I'm posting this for a US place ;-p)“

“Came here on a rainy & hailing day, Sunshine Pancake House is warm inside and the colors give you a feeling of happiness. The workers are kind. We all ordered the freshly squeezed orange juice. It tasted a bit different than when I squeeze it at home, not sure if it's diluted or have some extra sweetness? Nonetheless, it was still a solid cup of orange juice. And they give you a big full glass of it. They brought out warmed maple syrup and whipped butter. The butter was whipped so much it was white, or maybe it had a little something else mixed with it. My great uncle and aunt enjoyed it. I ordered the 5 silver dollar pancakes and I'm SO glad I didn't order 10 because these are NOT *silver dollar* size at all. These were the size of my fist so eating 5 of them really filled me up. I started slowing down on the 3-4th one. They were good and cooked nicely. I love golden pancakes, only one was slightly over cooked. My great uncle ordered plain waffle with a side of eggs (sunny side...over easy or something) & bacon. It came out with 4 slices of bacon and he liked that it was a thicker cut than your usual bacon. Cooked very well-- crispy. The waffle was light and fluffy, not dense at all. The eggs were also well cooked with a nice runny center and crispy edges. My great aunt ordered the bacon waffle. It had bacon crumbled on top as well as inside. She enjoyed her waffle a lot saying it was better than the ones she'd get at breakfast places in Texas. I highly recommend this spot to eat at with family or friends. It will warm you up, make you smile, and keep you filled.“

“Overall this is a great location and they deserve the business ? they do an excellent job of keeping the restaurant clean ? the service is always friendly with a smile and very polite ?, the food is consistently well prepared and tastes very good, they have a solid kitchen staff and wait staff. ✋️ The whole combo is difficult to find in craft establishments let alone, the average run of the mill establishments, so this IHOP is a hidden gem. Give them you business if you want a satisfying ? meal at a fair price. The poblano eggs benidict was recommended and it was very tasty. The hashbrowns i usually load down with salt, but didn't even need salt, it was all very tasy and just perfectly made. I was full before I could finish. Thanks ? Guys.“

“First time here. I always ask myself after eating at someplace new … ‘would I come back again?’ The answer for this place is …. Yes I would!!! And will!! Linguisa sausage and rosemary potatoes complimented eggs perfectly! GF also happy with vegan/gluten free offerings. If you’ve not been here I do highly recommend.“

“First time here and I'm an idiot for not noticing this spot sooner.Got the Hot Pastrami (paid extra for Bacon) and it's pretty tasty. Veggies were fresh and it wasnt overwhelming, the bread was toasted, whatever kind of cheese they use it amazing, it's VERY creamy, Bacon was thick and crispy as well. Also came with banana peppers which I love, and a wedge of pickle, which was very pickled but it was good.“

“We couldn’t wait to return to 7 Cafe after being away for more than 2 years. Our nephew used to live around the corner and we could come the 7 Cafe every morning when we visited him. He had since moved away but we had a chance to return to the old neighborhood on our resent visit to San Diego. The first place we decided to eat was the 7 Cafe. The owner, wait staff and food are all outstanding. We’re from NYC and we highly recommend that you make the 7 a stop one of your dining experiences while in San Diego.“

“When I first walked in, and had to check in, I thought, uh oh... snobby wine bar. Well, it is kinda a hipster wine bar, but still pretty cool! It's like walking down into a wine cellar at a Napa winery with it's concrete floors and sparce interior decorations. There are bars set up all around, and little couches for people in the middle of the room.“

“Great breakfast!! The biscuit on this country Benedict was maybe one of the best I've ever had. It's SO big and good. AND they served this with three poached eggs rather than two. The biggest benedict portion I've ever had and super tasty!“
