“Not many restaurants open at 7 am, so I just chose Neal's. First time I have been asked if I wanted my corned beef hash and hash browns crispy. Usually I would mention it when ordering.

I prefer the corned beef beef bits a little bigger, but at least it didn't have a disproportionate amount of potatoes. The corned beef hash and the hash browns came very crispy, potato chip crispy. 😋

Lots of regulars here. The waitress knew some of the names.“

“We arrived before our reservation time and they were able to accommodate. Our waiter was great with detailing the dishes and answering my culinary questions. Service was slow. It took nearly 25 minutes to receive cocktails. I had to inquire about appetizers which were ordered with cocktails. The GM was very present and walking the dining area but not speaking to any guests or acknowledging that they are waiting without drinks and food. The food was good. I have a different palate so my good may great for another person. The only negative was how long everything took when it wasn’t a night where there was a full house of guests. If that can improve, we may return. For context we ordered Smoked Bourbon Prickly Pear Margarita Calamari Crab & Artichoke Dip Crab Stuffed Sole topped with roasted garlic and shallot shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes Ribeye with compound butter and Cold Water Lobster Tail We switched from cocktails to wine with the main dish.“

“Food is delicious dim sum, we were lucky to have a table in a private room cuz we had 17 people. It was only one woman wait staff to help us with food, it was not much service after they brought in the food and she really left us alone and we need more tea but no service until when we ready to leave then give us tea. That's really bad to me no tea for a long time and only refilling once! She must be so busy and we go outside help ourselves for finding boxes for leftover food. Be good to have good service with a smile too?“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!“

“Great poke near SFO! About $20 for a huge bowl with 5 kinds of sashimi — perfect for anyone trying to eat light but stay full. I picked tuna, salmon, octopus, scallops, and another fish, with brown rice, veggies, and spicy mayo. Super fresh and filling until the end of the workday.

Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“Hidden gem in Half Moon Bay! This is small restaurant owned by a family, one of the owners is the cook. The food looks and tastes very good and service is just the best. We had patata, lobster bisque and shrimps and all three were amazing. Totally must go place while visiting!“

“I found this place while searching Uber eats 2 weeks ago but was turned off by their 4.2 rating. I took a chance last night anyways and was not disappointed. The lemon pepper wings were the best we have tried. The shrimp, snow crab, and lobster combo was perfect in ultimate medium spicy sauce. The food was still super hot upon delivery. We would have liked more corn but was ok sharing the 2 pieces. The driver was on time and followed the instructions so well our dog didn't hear him til he was leaving. Will definitely order again and try to eat at the location.“

“What a find! On our way to international SFO flight, stopped in San Mateo and were delighted by the food, ambience and especially the hosts at La Ronda. The small touches like the crisp tablecloths and napkins, the warm welcome ... and then there's the food. Warm bread served with tasty butter and jalapeno sauce followed by the calamari and lomo saltado. Topped off by arroz con leche. What a beautiful late lunch. “We had an absolutely lovely experience here! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, everyone was friendly and attentive. Fantastic high end ambience. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. “Came here on a Sunday night with a big group and they were able to accommodate us right away. We had the Brussels sprouts, cheese bread, crab bread, crab cakes, boneless rips, clipper plates, Manila clams and tacos. Basically everything from the menu. “I came in on (9/1) right before 7 pm with 3 of my friends. It seemed a little busy for a monday…well, it’s labor day. Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip“

“Walked in not expecting much but was greeted lovingly by a sweet family running shop by themselves. They seemed delighted that we were eating In and the small homey setting really felt like they inviting us to sit at their table. The spam masubi was incredible, served fresh, with a sweet sauce, and a little touch of pork sung in there made all the difference. I got the wagyu beef with egg meal. It also came with that signature sauce and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. As we left, packing up the leftovers off the heaping plates of food, the father ran out to give us some extra sauce and make sure we didn’t leave without knowing how much we were appreciated. The incredible food and the family’s hospitality truly made it feel like I was eating a home cooked meal with my grandparents and I would love to come back and support them more!“

The pork and cheese pupusas were absolutely PERFECT! Fresh ingredients, cooked evenly where the filling was moist with bustling flavors and the outside was nice and crispy. Also ordered the enchiladas verde which, too, was spot-on.

All the side dishes that come with it were tasty with my favorite being the garlic noodles. Mango and Coconut ice cream at the end was the perfect touch.
