“One of the best dim sum place on the peninsula. And also has a great view of the plane take off and landing.
Their lunch dimsum is very crowded so either go there early before 11:00 or after 1:00 p.m.

Since they remove the outdoor dining, they now direct overflow to the next door hotpot place, which also serve dim sums during lunch hour.

They also have good dinner banquet menu that are reasonably priced, especially there holiday dinner banquet menu.
But I always prefer banquet menus that are Tailor to our favorite dishes. Yes it will be more expensive than their set menu but at least all the dishes we will enjoy.“

“I had an exceptional dining experience at Evangelian Cuisine! The seafood was unbelievably fresh and flavorful—truly some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the paella and fish and chips, and both dishes were outstanding.

Our waiter, Adolfo, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes we ordered and the wines they offer. He recommended the Albariño Eleusis, which turned out to be one of the best white wines I’ve ever tasted! Adolfo was polite, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“We came to Mumu Hot Pot in San Francisco because we had previously gone to the one in Pleasanton and loved it, so we decided to check out this location for another hot pot fix no reservations or long wait, and we were seated right away. As hot pot lovers, this spot hit the spot with its focus on personal mini pots and high-quality ingredients, making it a cozy, customizable experience that’s perfect for solo diners or small groups.

ATMOSPHERE:
This casual Chinese hot pot joint has a welcoming, no-frills vibe think spacious seating for groups (plenty at the Stonestown-adjacent location), simple decor with wooden tables, and an open setup where the aroma of simmering broths fills the air. The smell of the restaurant was okay, with decent ventilation keeping things fresh, and the bathrooms were very clean. It’s lively during peaks but never overwhelming, fitting 30+ people comfortably with a neighborhood feel that’s great for a relaxed meal in SF’s west side.

MENU:
The menu (qr code) centers on build-your-own hot pot with personal mini pots, offering broth bases like buttery spicy - (my personal fave), sichuan spicy, tom yum, tomato, or mushroom, plus premium meats (beef, lamb, pork), seafood, veggies, noodles, and add-ons. Combo sets for 1-2 people make ordering easy, with a solid sauce bar for customization. No all-you-can-eat, but generous portions and fresh options throughout.

We loaded up on high-quality meats that cooked up tender and flavorful, but the veggie assortment was overwhelming we ended up with way too many that went uneaten, which felt wasteful given the pricing. Still, the fresh ingredients and that broth made it a crave-worthy hot pot experience we’d rank among SF’s better ones.

SERVICE:
No reservations needed, and even with a potential waitlist, service was efficient and friendly our server was knowledgeable about broth pairings and kept things moving smoothly.

TIPS:
Opt for combo sets to share and avoid over-ordering veggies, as portions are generous. It’s on the pricier side compared to other hot pots (expect $30-50 per person), so we’d love an AYCE option or adjusted pricing for better value. The small touches like the crisp tablecloths and napkins, the warm welcome ... and then there's the food. Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us.
