“It was my first time here, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including dhai bata dev puri, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, kulchas (onion and paneer), chole masala, and kadai paneer. The service was excellent, and the food was simply amazing. The meat was tender and flavorful, while the chaat was a delightful burst of taste. The kulchas were soft and fluffy, and the butter chicken was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience.“

“Food is good here, so far attended party and quality seems maintained. Most of the areas are clean but near the buffet are very sticky . It wa 100 people party and restaurant was closed for party but they only have 3 staff maintaining things and which created lots of left over dishes and food on table and floor . There was no arrangement to dispose dirty dishes and asked to leave it on table. Sound system is ok . Took little long time to refill may be due to less staff .
Overall it was ok experience and stars are mainly for food .
Park is there but space is very small for SUV and 100% your next door car will hit you while opening and closing the door ..so be careful“

“Pretty nice restaurant in the UC area, they were able to accommodate my group of 12 though the restaurant is a bit smaller. The service was good, unlike the other reviews servers came to take our order, and food was good as well.
Started off with lamb seekh kabobs which were really good, and chicken malai was ok as well. Got the chilli chicken, I think it def could have been spicier, and had more veggies than meat, but meat was good. Mango Lassi was actually nice and thick! For entrees, we got the kadai chicken, chicken curry, and goat curry, all pretty good. And I absolutely LOVED the gulab jamun with ice cream at the end.“

“We were at the Khaki to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a great evening and we enjoyed the food here. Everything we tried was delicious, even the chutnies with Papad platter were good.
Jackfruit cutlets, Paneer Pineheels were my most favorite from the evening. Gobhi Musallam was good too.
I tried saffron lemon drop and it was okay. I couldn't get any saffron other than the color. Server explained that it's saffron infused vodka but it didn't come through. Overall drinks were okay, not as good as the food for sure.
Definitely a place I will come back for sure though.“
“Yesterday me and my wife tried annachikadai Fremont location for the first time. We went to watch a movie in cine lounge and then stopped here for lunch. We ordered vaazhai ilai virundhu (non-veg) and mutton biryani.
Banana leaf virundhu was really worth the price. Unlimited dishes. Everything was so fresh. My wife and I loved their parrotta (freshly made), chicken 65(hot, crispy and finger licking good), rasam (was out of the world) we had 3 cups and gulped it. It was like our mom’s preparation. I simply will go only to drink rasam. My god it was out of the world. Chicken curry, mutton curry, nethili fish kuzhambu, and fresh curd, kootu, appalam and kesari(I didn’t taste it, my wife mentioned it was good). You cannot share this meals with another person.
Mutton biryani - Was good and not that great honestly. It was jeeraga samba rice with ample pieces of mutton served with raita and Salan. I would prefer if it was prepared freshly , I felt it was cooked earlier during the day or previous day. May be I’m wrong. But we packed it home and my son loved it.
Overall definitely recommend this place for families and friends to come and try their authentic Tamil Nadu dishes. I met their chef and founder John who was very friendly and cool to speak with. Great service and great hospitality overall.“

“The food was really good, full of flavor and definitely one of the better meals we’ve had in a while. It’s great to finally find a place where the taste stands out. The only downside was the long waiting lines, and the staff seemed quite overwhelmed. Service could be smoother, but the food makes it worth trying.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The dosa was excellent, especially the benne dosa, which was perfectly prepared. The Kesari was outstanding — one of the best we have had.
We also loved the onion samosa, sambar, and the filter coffee, which was very addictive and refreshing. Some other dishes that would be great additions to the menu are Medu Vada, Pongal, Chinna Vengaya (small onion) sambar, Sambar rice, Idly, and Pakora dipped in sambar idly — these would make the menu even more amazing.
The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and we truly enjoyed it. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic South Indian food!“

“The food was awesome, heavenly,
stupendous piping hot and sizzling. The Butter Masala Dosa arrived with that perfect golden arrogance — crackling crisp outside, soft and yellow masala inside, tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares. One dunk into the coconut chutney and you know resistance is futile. Pair it with their filter coffee and suddenly “just a snack” turns into a spiritually satisfying meal. 😋☕“

“Idly Express Fremont is not just a takeout spot — it genuinely feels like an emotion ❤️
Kumaresan Anna and Yoshika bring so much warmth every single day. You can feel their happiness in what they do, and it naturally spreads to everyone who walks in.
Aditya and Jugesh are always caring, greeting customers with a calm, quiet smile that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed without saying much. And Hameed, as always, delivers the best.
This place goes beyond food. It’s about familiar faces, simple kindness, and that feeling of comfort you don’t get everywhere. Every visit feels personal.
Idly Express Fremont isn’t just where you pick up food — it’s where you feel at home. ❤️“

“Maybe it was what we ordered or just a one off but the overall dining experience at Chowrasta just did not leave that feeling of satisfaction one should get after eating a delicious meal. The place was empty and looking at the seating capacity, it is more of a to go place. The hunt for Hyderabadi haleem brought us to this place. We also got the Mutton Mandi. Both of these dishes were served in plastic containers ready to go. The goat leg shank was tender and juicy but the Mandi rice was lacking flavor. The Haleem was better of the two items. Street Parking is a pain in this area especially in rush hours. Probably will try the Biryanis next time we are here and mostly will do a take out.“

“One of the good sign of simple but great clean food is look at menu options. A lot for time a place with very limited menu is the one where you would have great food quality in every food you order.
This was the case here. But keep in mind the Flavors here are Karnataka style. So you can't complain about Sambhar being on the sweeter side. Don't walk here expecting spicy food.
I tried Ponnugulu and Podi Masala Dosa and I enjoyed it thoroughly.“

“I recently catered food from Hyderabadi Biryani House for a gathering of 20 people, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The packing was absolutely perfect—neat, secure, and kept everything hot and fresh.
Every single guest raved about the food! The spice level was just right, striking the perfect balance of flavor and heat. Their chilli chicken, fire cracking chicken, and dum biryani were truly mind-blowing—packed with authentic taste and aromatic goodness.
This is hands-down the best Indian food I’ve had in the Bay Area. Highly recommend for both catering and dine-in.“
“The Food Is Delicious, I recommend the chicken curry they can make as spicy as you like 👌🏽😎“

“We had food catered & delivered from them. All the food was authentic, super tasty, well packaged and presented. Everyone loved it & mentioned multiple times. I recommend them wholeheartedly. We ordered Chicken Curry, Dal Makhani, Paneer Veggie Sabji, Raita, Naan, Rice, Salad & Rose Kheer. Rose Kheer was so yummy. Chicken Curry tasted homemade Punjabi. It was delicious. Paneer Sabji & Daal were also very yummy. Spices were mild. You can't go wrong by ordering from them.“
