“My wife liked the chicken that she ordered. The chicken momos were too spicy for her even after it was supposed to be medium s spicy. I liked the aloo matar but my wife didn't like it. She liked the veg chowmein. I didn't like it. We both liked the kulfi. The pistachio kulfi was very good with almost no sweet or ever less of it. The mango kulfi was too sweet for our taste buds and it was ok. The service is really great. Will come again.Vegetarian options: There are few veggie options. Please ask and the waiter can suggest you some options.Parking: There are some parking spots outside the restaurant.“

“We are new to the Bay Area and went to this restaurant for the first time . Their service and food was excellent! I am North Indian and not easy to please with North Indian food but I have not had such mind blowing chole kulche and sarson ka saag , makke di roti in the US . Definitely recommend . Our server, Sabi, was awesome, brought complementary French fries for my son and gajar ka halwa for us. Very hospitable, felt like we were in India. Would go back soon.Vegetarian options: We were told that the kitchen is separated into veg and non veg sections and they do not mix things up which is great!“

“Came here as it had the highest ranking in Danville, very pleased with our orders. Tandoori chicken was sizzling and tender, butter chicken was spicy and tangy, very impressive. Goat curry was well cooked since goat can be tough and gristly when not prepared well. Palak paneer was mild and creamy. Medium spice left a pleasant heat in the mouth without being painful. Atmosphere is nonexistant and we were the only party in there from 630-730 on a friday night. They'll need to rely on takeout and word of mouth to stay afloat since the location is off the main drag and it's got all the ambiance of a panda express. But the food was deeeeelish.“

“The Gurkha Kitchen is a mini chain selling Nepalese halal eats. It opened where Pho Viet was. Interior mostly unchanged save for the added pics on walls & a flatscreen. Light music in background. Greeted upon arrival, assigned table, given menu. I ordered quickly. Food cooked to order. Came in 10ish minutes. Offerings (Nepalese version): appetizers, Nepali Khaja set, Thakali Thali, desserts, tandoori, momos, veg./non veg. entrees, Indo Chinese, rice & biryani, drinks, beers. Eats: Khasi ko Sekuwa (18.99) country style BBQ goat. Marinated with many Himalayan herbs/spice -served with sliced carrots/cucumbers, red onions, cilantro, potato salad. Lightly battered, had nuanced flavors of spicy, tanginess, subtle sweetness. -accompanied by large serving of lightly fried pieces of rice, jalepeno slices, mucho peanuts, -comped nicely made chai. Didn't pair with BBQ. Was informed when ordering it's "bar food". It sure was filling. Took most of it to go. Yummy it was. 4.5 stars: most diverse Nepalese ever seen! So far great food at 2 locations. Worth repeating...“
“The food is authentic and very flavorful. We had a very different kind of food. The servers were very nice and friendly. The service was awesome. We had fried momos, chicken biryani, wai wai and chicken curry. Mind blowing taste. I highly recommend this place.“

“Everything that we ordered was good.. especially the Onion Rava Masala Dosa and the street style Andra Dosa. Both the Dosas very crispy and spicy to our liking. The chutneys were fresh and tasty. Ginger chutney was awesome. Loved the Stuffed Mirchi. This will definitely be my go to place for dosas and Idli. Please keep up the same quality and freshness of the food.“

“We ordered a variety of their recommended dishes including a noodle soup and goat dish. My favorite is still their chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The tikka masala is a bit thicker in consistency and their naan is slightly sweet, which adds a nice twist.“

“As a family, we have tried Steet Food Vibes regularly over the last year. Our favorites are Aloo Tikki Chaat, Talaab Tikki (on secret menu), Samosa Chaat, Bharwa Golgappa, Channa Bhatura, Mix Vegetable Pakoda, Paneer Pakoda, Aloo Tikki kathi, Paneer kathi, Crispy Gobi (cauliflower) Kathi, Masala Chai and Gajar Ka Halwa. We find the food taste authentic Indian street food. I can tell everything is freshly made with minimal oil and bursting with flavors. The chole bhatura (kids favorite) reminds me of food as I have in India. Pakoda's are crispy and have a special spice sprinkled on top. The mint and tamarind chutneys, yogurt are of thick consistency unlike some other restaurants where they can be watery. My daughter loves the juicy chicken kathi. The vegetarian Kathi’s are flavorful with carrot pickle touch. The fresh masala chai at the end is typically a nice close to your mealRestaurant is clean. Service is friendly and quick. For the food quality and service, they offer, I feel the food is very reasonably pricedLast week, I ordered catering for a home party. My guests loved the food namely Samosa Chaat Aloo Tikki Chaat, Talaab Tikki, Paneer Pakoda, Chicken Tikka and Pav Bhaji. Their special samosas had a nice thin layer covering and were crispy. Aloo Tikki had a filling in the middle. Pav Bhaji was flavorful. Chicken Tikka was a youngsters favorite. I had a couple of guests who are also great chefs. Their super positive feedback is always a testament to food quality and taste.Thank you, Street Food Vibes, for the dine-in experiences and making our recent party successful with you catering!“

“The dosas are good, served a little darker than expected but with plenty of stuffing. The service needs work, we ordered an appetizer and it came after the entrees we're served.Do not order the butter chicken, it was awful, very obvious the cook does not make even decent north Indian chicken.“
“Their Chole bhature are the best in the whole Bay Area. Try it once and you can tell the difference. I have ordered it many times and will continue to do so but I have tried their other food items which were just ok. Their naans needs improvement. Not sure what happened but when I took them home and tried to eat them, they were basically stretchy and unchewable. I hope they fix this problem. When eaten in the store, they are very good.“

“One of the finest Indian vegetarian food outlets in Fremont. The ambiance, more suited for takeout than for dine-in due to limited space, still adds to the overall charm of the place. I've indulged in their Shahi Paneer Korma, butter rotis, Chole Masala, and Onion Chilli Parathas extensively, and the taste and quality consistently impress. The pricing is also quite reasonable. And let's not forget Mr. Pavan, the wonderfully customer-friendly owner, who truly sets this establishment apart and makes it one of my favorite spots to enjoy a delicious meal here in the Bay Area. P.S. Not a complaint, just my personal observation: The 'Shahi Paneer Korma' here is not exactly what the name suggests, but more akin to 'Paneer Butter Masala' in disguise!“
“Fiji Fry House is between a Salvadoran bakery at the end of the block and a car repair shop across the street. The shop has an American and Fiji flag at it's side, the only decor visible. The food differs from other Fiji eats i've tasted. The food here has it's distinctness and it's influences from Indian food. Offerings: appetizers, curry tacos, Fiji fried chicken, curry rice box, ala carte, desserts, drinks... Drill: order by phone or at window, pay, food cooked to order. Eats: bhajia (9.75) -similar to pakora. Distinct in having thin flour coating, not a thick batter. 4 pieces of grounded spinach, veggies are moist throughout not dry. Has a chutney dipping sauce. Lamb & potato curry (19.75) -crunchy papadum wafer with flavorful vegetable pulao rice of fresh kachumber, pickled veggies, tumeric to soak up masala gravy. -lamb & potato in tomato and spicy masala gravy adds a spicy kick. Very fulfilling. *couple of tables nearby to dine on. **many entrees have a fusion theme combing Indian & Fiji cooking techniques..da best of 2 cuisines.“

“I stumbled into this place and the nice sever Subash said I would like the sampler first item on menu and boy is he right! It is almost too much food for one person! The flavors are a wonderful surprise after a long day of work! Mint, curry, buttery rice thing lol, an herb doughnut I dipped into the mint chutney. A surprise of desert surgery almost a pudding with raisins. All for a out $13. I highly recommend this place. The 3 atmosphere rating is because I wanted to sit down and there are no seats or tables. They must have changed to take out only.“

“Everything was delicious! My favorite was the chana masala. The fried peanuts are like nothing I've had before, in a great way (but not date food since it's loaded with raw onions and garlic ?). People are really nice and it's now my go-to spot when I'm in the area. I can't wait to try more of the menu!“

“I could not be more stoked about a restaurant than this one. This place has the best tandoori meats and today I got to try a pani puri too and man!!! did my taste buds transport to New Delhi days or what!!! I ordered a combo plate with lamb chops and lamb sheesh kabob. Perhaps the most tender and meatiest lamb chops ever and amazing value for money. The owner himself is vegetarian, yet seems to have perfected meat and veg tandoor dishes. this place is Magic!“

“Great Indian takeout in San Leandro / Oakland boarder. Warning: butter chicken is addictive! Signs of withdrawal: watery mouth, lack of interest in other food and dream about an orange creamy stew over basmati rice.Tip: spicy option is HOOOT. Settle for medium“
“We had Misal Pav and Vada Pav. This dishes made me remind of true Maharashtrian authentic flavours. I would strongly recommend this place. The owners/ team is very humble and is always welcoming suggestions. I got to know in quick chat they are going try more different kind of Vada Pav like maska Vada Pav and chutney maska cheese Vada pav. I would come back to try those. Keep the good work and this great flavours. Kudos to the team!“

“Deciitontet this new spot out. They have lots of options online menu and 2 kiosk to order yourself inside. They also have catering options. I tried the pizza samosa which were good and spicy. Not pizza flavored they have a nice Indian taste but spicy so not really for kids but delicious. Smaller than most Samosas about the size of pizza rolls. The lamb gyro was tasty and I enjoyed it. No fat on the meat it was thinly sliced had lots of meat. They serve drinks, smoothies, juices, bowls, salads, soups, sandwichws, gyro, really everything. The juice was refreshing and all natural veggies and fruit. No sweeteners unless upon request. I was also gifted a tiny chocolate pudding to try. It was really delicious and fresh my daughter enjoy it. I'd try something different next time lots of choices.“
“My father found the best caterer in the Bay Area and the best part is they are both from Hoshiarpur! When we called Ravinder uncle he made us feel so welcome and promised us the catered food would be beyond our expectation....and he surely delivered! At our event, we had 4 people come on site and make FRESH food in front of our guests! Even a month after my event, people are still raving about the food and service! Long life customer!“

“Fiji Sweets & Snacks opened where Donutland once was. Small shelf area. Didn't see any made in house sweets. Ordered lamb curry to go. Ready in 10ish minutes. Store had the usual rice, grains, condiments, cooking oils, teas, snacks, house made snacks. Menu of food to go in corner had no prices..not too legible. Buys: curry lamb(10.99) -didn't taste curry per se. Liquid tasted like a chili. Burning localized in mouth. Mix of tender & semi tender lamb pieces bone-in. A piece had bone marrow. Bongo baked cheese puffs (3.99) -made in Fiji. Baked puffs were melt in mouth. Cheese just a sprinkling of cheese powder, neglible taste. Lots of artificial chemicals Fried green peas (2.50) -made in house of peas, vegetable oil, salt, spices, chili. Slight burning sensation. 4.5 stars: small space. Doesn't look organized.“
