“We absolutely loved our dinner at Liholiho Yacht Club — everything from the vibe to the flavors was on point. We started with a couple of appetizers that set the tone right away: bold, fresh, and packed with unique flavor combinations. The pork ribs were a total standout — perfectly tender with just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the fried rice that came with them was rich, flavorful, and satisfying on its own.
But the real star of the night was dessert — the Baked Hawaii. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it was also hands down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. A creative twist on a classic, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt fun, vibrant, and effortlessly cool. We’ll absolutely be coming back next time we’re in SF! Highly recommend this spot — a true gem.“

“The dishes are creative and visually pleasing, but unfortunately, they were way too salty. I woke up the next day with some swelling, which has happened to me before when restaurants use a lot of salt. My other friends, who prefer stronger flavors, didn't report swelling but also found the food salty, even though they usually like salt.“

“We enjoyed our experience dining at little shucker. The service was very good. They were attentive and fast. We got yuzu oysters, miso bone marrow oysters, a crab roll, and mussels. The mussels were delicious and paired well with white wine! We preferred the cold yuzu oyster over the baked bone marrow oysters. However, both were good. The yuzu oysters just tasted more refreshing, which we like for oysters. The hot crab roll was packed with meat. It was a little too buttery though, so next time we will try it cold. The interior was cute. Overall, a very cute date spot!“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. “I read all the wonderful reviews on the actual website, and a friend and I decided to meet there for dinner last night (3/5/25) I was excited about trying out a new spot. The ambience was nice the restaurant was lively and surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. Our food arrived in a timely manner however, our Server never return to ask if there was anything else needed. Although the crab chowder bowl was tasty, I would have like a little pepper and perhaps some Tabasco to further bring out the flavors. Unfortunately I couldn't get the Servers attention. The garlic noodles were definitely garlicky which wasn't the problem. There was way to much butter/olive oil with no other type of seasoning leaving them bland. The real issue was how the Server popped up and started reaching around the table to remove things as if we were being rushed out. She came back with dessert tray of which we declined then proceed to bring check and clear what she could away. A large group sitting nearby was rushed out after another large group was escorted to their table. Most started trying to finish their wine and gather their things which was obviously awkward for the group that appeared who had to turn around and give them room to leave. Our Server offered to-go containers and appeared impatient that we weren't leaving. Our entire dinner from beginning to end was 50 mins( with my friend trying to eat a whole crab which takes time) and we felt very rushed. Overall our experience was just "ok" therefore I wouldn't rush back anytime soon. We did however appreciate the 1 hour parking validation.“

“This place is a little overrated, some things are good, some are not.

So the cons:

-The tortillas and chips are pretty weak. If you use cheap gmo Guerrero tortillas, it's an automatic loss of a point for me. You have la Palma tortillas around the corner, La Finca and Mi Rancho close by. So, for what they charge for tacos, they should be handmade, but good quality at minimum. They can work on the chips, too.

-Fish tacos were alright. Nothing memorable, but a nice portion. Better tortillas and more veggies, please.

-They dont have a happy hour. While everyone has happy hours, they don't, so I'd rather go elsewhere during these times.

-Many things are overpriced. $3.50 for oysters. Come one, this is not a waterfront location.

-Service was ok, nice people but understaffed. The host was my server, my bar tender, and my chef. Didn't check on me the entire meal and only one other other table ordering food. Only one other guy in the back washing dishes.

The pros:

My family is coastal Pacific Mexican, so my standards are high. I wouldn't call this an authentic experience, but it is as close as it gets in the mission.

This place is newish, so it still needs a little work. The demand is there, and I wish them the best. I'll come again and try other things from their menu.“
