“i'm from LA and have been SEARCHING for a gelato shop that makes it the authentic italian way, with no artificial dyes/flavors and the correct texture. i stumbled across this place while in newport with my family and knew i had to try it immediately when i saw the way the gelato is stored (in the steel tins, as opposed to giant mountains like most places in the US). definitely not disappointed. the flavors were done perfectly and not overly sweet, and you could so tell it was natural. i honestly think it's worth the 2 hour drive from LA to come back here🤣 please open a second location“

Service was quick but the teen (I’m assuming) boy that was the one serving us, wasn’t very inviting or friendly. “Super fun place! Be warned though it gets super busy at night, there was a line out the door when I went. The flavors are interesting and unique! Personal recommendation: if you're in the mood to try some classic flavors, go somewhere else! This is the place to try some super fun flavors that you won't find anywhere else. I tried their Strawberry Pretzel Salad (recommended by one of their servers) and was super hesitant, but it was actually so good! This is a great date night or night out with friends location!“

“This place is tasty. Very sugary sweet treats, but yummy. We ordered one bar and one soft serve type, but the soft serve is a way better base. The girls working the ice cream shop were young, but attentive. But, they had no AC in the shop which was really brutal with our hot summer. I asked one of the girls about the heat and she said the AC broke. But, you're in Laguna Beach, charging top dollar, have a busy flow of people non-stop and have ice cream and workers that need to be supported with cooler conditions. I hope the owners chopse to address the cooling conditions.“
