“It's a wine place, and I love wines. It was my first time tasting wine in Marin. For a couple of months, I hadn't had wine. I was glad to finally have time for a sip of Pinot Noir, but this time, I had it with no food. The menu had a great selection. The people there were older and having a great time. There was a tasting event and the people were nice, but I and my friend didn't join. Overall, it was a lively place.Parking: There is a nice parking lot very close by.“

“Everything about one’s experience here is superb. From the moment you walk in until the completion of the meal - it is top tier service. They care about all the details, from the freshness of each ingredient to the suggestions and pairings of items. We started with the olives and avocado salad - the olives were warm and juicy, and the salad was fresh and light. Paired well together! We also ordered both the squid ink special pasta and the truffle - they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan focaccia and finished off with the chocolate mousse dessert. 10/10 recommend, everything was perfect!“

“We had the best time at Sorella! The food was amazing and we left feeling full. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and delicious and the wine recommendations we had paired with our meal so well. “One of the best pizzas in San Francisco. Very small place with a parklet out front. About 5 individual sized pizzas on offer, with a daily salad special, and two daily desserts. “I sort of get it because it's truly a SF institution. Prime rib is great, and so are the sides, as everyone says. Super awesome texture on the beef, properly seasoned. Horseradish it a great addition. However it's very stuffy and just plain old. Lots of analogous places in England have modernized over time, but this feels like the 70s. “TL;DR: Worth the visit, unique flavor profiles and pairings! Exceptional service. I celebrated my anniversary here and they did not disappoint! As soon as we got seated, there was a note to acknowledge our anniversary and it was a warm welcome! As someone who is indecisive, I enjoyed the structure of the menu, first two dishes were included while you had options to choose from for the next three courses. We had complementary Japanese milk bread to start and it was probably the best bread I've ever had! The cultured butter and warm bread make such a cravable combo! The second dishes were light and refreshing! The cured hiramasa had the perfect touch of spice from the Fresno vinaigrette and the Asian pear cut through ever so slightly making it a delicate pairing with the fish. The beet tartare has good texture with the horseradish foam and crunch from the pine nuts. Second course, the celery root ravioli was different and had a light herbaceous note that made the dish not too heavy like other pasta dishes. We added the supplemental agnolotti and they did not skimp out in the truffles. We're not usually fans of truffle but it was not overpowering and complemented in flavor and texture. Third course, we had all three dishes! Seared black cod and the A5 wagyu melted in your mouth, we didn't even need the knife to cut through. The sauces in both dishes cut through the fattiness and paired well with the decadent taste of both the fish and meat. The Sakura pork had a good chew and smokiness from the breakfast sausage was unexpected but made for a desirable pairing. Fifth and final course, we opted to try both desserts! The profiles of both sweet dishes were different but worth the try. The spiced chocolate had subtle ginger notes while having a good crunch complemented by the meringue. Spring forward definitely gave the feeling of spring with light and airy flavors of nutty coconut and green herb granita! All in all, I'd revisit to try out the revolving menus, the chefs really put time and thought in the courses and left me intrigued for what's coming up next. Service was kind, informative, and attentive. Our waters were always filled, dishes bussed, and table was marked all at appropriate times. Thank you again 7 Adam's team!“

“One of the best wine bars in the city! Totally unpretentious, incredibly welcoming, and always a good time. The menu has a few changes regularly and there's ALWAYS a fantastic and varied wine selection. You can tell that every person who works here is passionate and loves what they do, one of the true gems of North Beach.Great spot for a romantic date in the evening, perfect place to chill with friends in the afternoon. Highly recommend the tastings - especially on Wednesdays! If you get a chance to take a class DO IT! You'll learn so much!“

“Been here a few times for drinks or a happy hour and SF Wine Society is a gem. It has a fun bocce court, is well decorated with a sense of atmosphere, and the folks here really know a lot about wine. And as random a compliment as this is to give, the bathroom here is seriously decadent, beautifully designed and fancy??? I think that alone is a testament to the care put into this place. All the food is really delicious so I recommend getting something to go along with your drinks!“

Having previously enjoyed their sister wine bar of Bodega in North Beach, I was so excited to experience what the same owners had in store for us at Key Klub! The ambiance is dark and moody in the evening which makes it a perfect spot for a girls' get-together or a romantic date night. An ideal spot for conversations over a glass of wine. They have a great selection on natural wines which you can buy by the bottle or glass. Now, lets talk about the real star of the show - the food! my friends and I were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the plates are here. The mushroom fries were perfectly crispy despite the fact that they are drenched in a delicious mushroom cream sauce. The duck liver mousse french toast was a decadent and rich and the smash burger was perfectly cooked. “Such a hidden gem - One of the best Thai restraunts Iv'e had in the Bay Area! They have a main menu that mostly contains the more standard Thai dishes that might see at a lot of other places. But they also have a hidden menu with some really unique Thai dishes that I haven't seen very often here but had when I visited Thailand and this brought back tons of memories! For the 2 of us, we got the fresh raw shrimp appetizer, papaya salad with blue crab, crab omlette, and stir fried morning glory. All the dishes were yum, but the first 2 were quite spciy! Servers are also super friendly and price is very reasonable for SF especially considering its location in the Marina. Highly recommend!“

“A sassy classy breakfast! The coffee is straight-up tasty and the butter croissants are so fluffy to the touch. My wife had a polenta breakfast with a large chicken sausage ensconced within and I had a thin flat hot pizza with prosciutto and cheese and two sunny-side-up huevos in the center. Yumm! Service was prompt and courteous (almost courtly, she was so nice). And the atmosphere was firmly on the genteel side. But we needed that that morning. We left the cafe like we'd been to a day spa, ready to face the world!“

“I've been going to Sociale since they first opened and they are consistently great. There is excellent variety on the menu giving you lots of options. The pastas are very good, made with highest quality ingredients, as are the meats and fish. This visit we had salads for a first course. One of us has the veal chop and one the pork chop. Both were great. The dining room is cozy and the outdoor area is, too. There is a private dining room that can accommodate 15-20 people for those special gatherings. Plus, parking is easy and free on Sacramento Street. What more can you ask?“

We did a flexible set-up with a minimum charged for wine & charcuterie and then cash bar after that, which is ideal for this type of event. The perfect lemonade, I wish it had been free refills because I would’ve drank 7 cups at least. Then we had the tarp chips with siracha aioli and was pleasantly surprised how well the earthy chips with the tangy sauce went together. Yum!I had the steak frites with truffle fries and it was phenomenal! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and said it was one of the best he’d ever had! “Love this place. It really reminds me of restaurants in Italy where you are not rushed and you don't get the check dropped until you ask for it. Drinks and food was pretty quick. I had a glass of the montepulciano di abruzzo. The server gave good recommendations for my friend that was not familiar with Italian wines. She had the gnocchi and I had the homemade fettuccine with vodka sauce and procuitto. They were both so good and perfect serving size, petite, filling but not stuffed. Small place, dark ambience, music playing but not too loud to hear your own conversation. Got a table at 7pm for 2 with no reservation on a Wednesday night. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!“

“Indian food made and offered with love. Some of the best indian food I've had in any restaurant in the country, made with true love. Chef has decades of global experience and it showed in the flavors and the cooking. We had paneer tikka, daal makhani and ordered two thalis and loved the ability to choose our lentils and curry of choice. The daal makhani was heavenly. The paneer was mind blowing. The breads were soft, freshly made and very filling. We had kheer and rasmalai for dessert and everything was just perfect. Strongly recommend. Service was excellent.“

I guess if I had to complain about something maybe more options of pizza with tomato sauce, but even the one that we got without tomato sauce was good. We also got the beet salad.If you get an appetizer then two people can actually share one pizza. Three slices each.Parking is not the easiest over in this area but you can eventually find a meter.MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT... It's not about this restaurant but all restaurants in San Francisco... “Get hooked on the ocean views and fresh seafood at this legendary San Francisco spot! Everything we had was spectacular! Calamari was lightly fried and fresh. Wedge salad was flavourful and crisp. The grilled octopus was my favorite, perfectly grilled with some char on a romescu sauce. But the cioppino is the reason we went. I regrets, this was a tomato based seafood dish, bursting with flavour and succulent seafood. Unlike any other seafood stews, all of the seafood was perfectly cooked and not over done or chewy. This was what we expected as an iconic San Francisco experience and we were still beyond impressed!“

“Cafe Meuse was such a cute wine bar, and a perfect spot to meet up for a happy hour. They have $2 off their glasses of wine between 5PM and 7PM, which is not an amazing deal, but better than you will find in most of the city. We ordered a Kir Royale and a bottle of wine which was really delicious. The server was very sweet, and split the one Kir Royale between the two of us in two separate glass which I really appreciated, and didn't expect at all. The cafe is very cute, and had some beautiful decorations for the holidays. Definitely a place I'd like to return to.“

They have everything dialed in: great service, fun atmosphere, and the most crave-able cuisine. Two weeks later, I'm still thinking about my chicken parmesan with the sneaky kick, and my boyfriend's tender, perfectly seasoned filet. They do the classics, but find ways to surprise you. Whatever you do, do not skip dessert. The coconut citrus pie, I want to say, is something between a key lime pie and Basque cheesecake, and it is one of the best desserts that I have ever tasted. Also, this might not be the first place you'd think to go for a perfect margarita, but the bartender can make you one. Its special to support a family run restaurant by two siblings whose parents formerly ran a restaurant in this very same space. Hence, the name Back to Back. I always liked it but when I decided to host an event here for 50 people I was simply blown away by how easy they were to work with, how delicious the catering was, the lovely convivial environment, and the reasonable pricing. “I went for a book signing and found a lovely place with a knowledgeable and Uber friendly staff. Also found a bubbly to die for, local and the winemaker makes a sparkling white. I had a rose. I would go back to learn more about wines, which they had a few on tap as it is better for the environment as I was told by the bartender and part owner Jamie. There are simply not enough stars. Such a great place will definitely go again just cause I can. You should check it out“
