“I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

When I want something savory I go for their simple everything bagel that gets the job done. I don’t normally get the coffee here, as the times I’ve been there they only seem to have drip. The staff is also always very friendly. I really like this place for the vibes. Very simple straight forward cafe, bakery, and unpretentious vibes, which can be a rarity here in LA.“

“I’ve been coming to this location for years, and it never disappoints! My mom, who never likes sweets, actually approves of their cakes—and that’s saying a lot. Both the vanilla and chocolate flavors are moist, delicious, and full of flavor—not dry at all.

The fresh fruit topping is another standout—you can choose more than one! My mom’s favorite combo is peach and strawberry. We usually go with the almond sides and ask for less filling, which they’re happy to accommodate.

These cakes are perfect for any occasion—or even just when you’re craving a good slice of cake. Speaking of which, I just found out they now sell cake by the slice (love this!), and they’ve also added fruit drinks and milk tea to their menu!

I got the ube sesame bun and the cheese and ube pie and both of them were fantastic. I wish I lived closer so I could come back and try more items, to be honest everything on display looked unreal. “If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!

“Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

“We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“We needed a birthday cake on short notice, and thankfully, Patisserie Too had a 5” mango cake available. They also had a wide variety of personal size cakes in adorable animal themes (rabbit, dog, pig, penguin, and Hello Kitty). Our party really enjoyed the mango cake - it was the perfect sweetness level and full of flavor. Sweet enough to taste like a dessert but not overwhelmingly sugary. I was pleasantly surprised to find a slice of mango inside the cake. The mango texture was a fun contrast to its soft cake-y surroundings. The entire cake sat on top of a cookie base (shortbread cookie?), and the crunchiness of the cookie also enhanced the range of textures in this dessert!

The cakes were also well packaged. They taped down the personal size cakes we bought so that they wouldn’t slide around inside the box. This attention to detail and their friendly and helpful service overall made this a really pleasant shopping experience!“

“The mini conchas are my favourite, I don't like conchas unless they're from this bakery. The polvorones, cinnamon raisin rolls, pink jelly coconut roll, and the mini cookies with sprinkles are my favourites here. The prices have been raised for the filled breads but it's better compared to other places. The place looks like it's kept clean and well maintained. The only bad thing about coming here are the homeless people asking for money all the time. + There's very limited parking sometimes it'll be empty and the next second it'll be full. The staff are super friendly and fast.“
