“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“The best quality Korean BBQ I've ever had! We had the butcher's pride 1 and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. It includes short ribs, finger meat, wagyu, and marinated short ribs. There are also numerous side dishes from kimchi to green onion jeon. You may also ask for rice if you'd like some to go with the marinaded short ribs.

With tax and tips, we ended up paying about $100 per person. Is it on the pricey end? Yes. Is it overpriced? Slightly. Is it a good food experience? It was. Would I come back again? Depends on who I'm with.“

The staff were super welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious, my favorite was the beef bulgogi (so much flavor) and my husband’s was the spicy chicken (juicy). “Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“Amazing experience at Corner Place! I forgot to ask for our server’s name, but all of the ajummas (아줌마) working there were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was amazing and there was SO much of it!

Our server kept taking care of us throughout meal, bringing us more food, cutting things for us, and getting everything ready so we could just eat and enjoy. It really felt like being taken care of by Korean aunties. 😂❤“

The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fried chicken dumplings were delicious. 😋🍴 We also tried the bulgogi and spicy chicken bowl and both were so delicious. As a side note, the man that waited on us (not sure if it was the owner or not) was very nice and hospitable. ☺️“

“Joshua was our server tonight and he was AMAZING! My friend and I came in for dinner pretty late, around 9–10 PM, and he still made the whole experience feel so welcoming and special. He was super polite, friendly, attentive, and he cooked everything perfectly for us. The food was delicious and the service honestly made the night even better.

Also, I have to mention this because it made me smile the entire time 😂 Josh totally reminded me of Chrollo from Hunter x Hunter, which was such a fun bonus.

“This place is perfect if you want to get some great food and go. Not set up for sit and eat, but they had I’m eating area outside with some tables and chairs. The hot barbecue sauce, I would call Pasadena hot, but amazing flavor. Glad I did not have to drive all the way to LA to get this food. The lady at the counter, I wish I got her name, but she was amazingly sweet, and rolled with my silly jokes.“

“Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Nothing was regular or ordinary. The brisket was so tender and tasty and the Blue Masa Cornbread was to die for! Melts in your mouth! And don’t forget the Cole Slaw which deserves capital letters!! The Mac and Cheese (not like any you’ve ever had!) was comped by our new friend who was our ordering coach and it stole the show!! “A very delicious wrapped shawarma. The sauce is tasty, and the meat is super fresh and marinated. Personally, I would have added more vegetables. But overall, I really enjoyed it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly; they speak English, Armenian, and Russian. I recommend it 100%.“

“For the quality, taste, price, and portions, you can’t find a lot of places better than Soowon Galbi. We got the Combo D (Unseasoned Prime Short Rib, Soowon Galbi, Prime Rib Eye Steak, Kkot Sal, Joo Mul Luk, Chadol, Bulgogi), which was filling even for 7 people! I usually don’t love non-marinated meats in KBBQ but tell me why the ones here were so tasty.

The servers were friendly and cooked the meats very nicely for us. I liked the Seafood Pancake, Galbitang, and complementary soups, though the Jap Chae was not my favorite. They were very generous with the rice, too.“

“My favorite Korean barbecue in Los Angeles. All the side dishes are fantastic and there is so much variety you can tell they really thought it through! The meat quality is also fantastic. Their marinated galbi is my favorite beef in the world. “Absolutely phenomenal duck KBBQ. Never had duck for KBBQ and it was decadent. All of the ducks cooks and smothered in duck fat and in the garlic. At the end they made fried rice with banchan and duck fat. It was heavenly. It was perfect for a large group of 10 with their semi-private dining in the back. A must try.“

“We were greeted at the door, and given complimentary miso soup with our order. We got six different Yubu (buy five get one free). They were FANTASTIC. The torched salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a little fishy, but overall they were very good. Bulgogi and King Yubu were overall favorites.“

“I got the tasajo which was already good but omg the moronga was DELICIOUS. I am usually not a fan of blood sausages or blood related food but this was so smooth, tender, savory and flavorful. If I didn’t already know it was a blood sausage I would have never guessed. The serving is huge if you eat standard servings you could easily split a portion but we got greedy.

Highly recommended just for the fact that they changed my mind about blood sausage.
