brewery; offering bottles and cans of the freshest beer, with analogous verisons of your favorites
with fresh ingredients, and a brewmasters touch. They’re also Hella queer and trans friendly, and you could belly your wheelchair up to the bar! (Like me, see you there ♿️!!)“
“This is a small spot in an out of the way street, with good beer and an interesting selection of records that the bartender/dj spins. Certainly different, and a plus, the taps are not loaded with IPAs.

Not much atmosphere on a Tuesday evening. I’d find my couch and cat more exciting than the vibe while I was there … nonetheless, I bet this would be fun on a more hopping evening!

“I love this brewery! It is so refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't just have 20 IPAs. The vibes are chill but fun, the upstairs with its games is great, and the owner is super nice and accommodating. He was passing out free samples of their new beer. There are food trucks on the weekend as well as regular events.
Having been to almost all of the breweries in the Bay, I'd rate the overall quality S tier. Most of the competition is boring and frankly not great. This place and Tenma have been the most impressive of the East Bay establishments I've tried.
If you're in the area and looking for a place to hang out for a little bit and grab a beer or two you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!“
“Such a terrific little bar! Top notch, small batch beers from talented local brewers. Something for everyone: IPAs, pales, pilsners, saisons, sours, and (often) my favorite Belgian beer styles. Casual, friendly vibe. A great place to go with friends, on date night, or solo (laptops fine). Can bring in food, games, or your dogs. Hoi Polloi is a real gem.“
“Over in San Francisco from Perth Australia and popped in for a couple of beers, awesome spot and great beers, staff were super friendly and even grabbed some merch, get yourselves over and support these guys and have a cracking pint or four“
“So far, I’ve had their Pilsner and their Belgian white. Both so fresh, crisp, and delicious! Today, was my second visit, and each time I was met by friendly staff. They’re out of the way for me, but when I’m meeting my friend near his job, it’s a great time to go. It’s very close to the baseball stadium, Oracle Park. So, did watch game days, and possibly avoid at the time the game is almost over. The traffic gets pretty challenging, if you’re driving in the area, at that time.“

“Stopped in Saturday night to grab some freshies and check out the brewery for the first time. Ended up having an amazing conversation with Brennan about beer, music, and community — exactly why I love beer and what the industry should feel like for patrons.
And most importantly: the beer is outstanding. This pils is everything I look for — depth, balance, and character that only comes from time, care, and quality ingredients. By far the best lager in the bay- yeah I said it!

“As someone with Celiac disease who *loves* beer, I was thrilled to find Otherwise Brewing. They have the biggest selection of gluten free beers that I have found yet. I enjoyed getting a flight and sampling several of their beers. I really enjoyed the pale ale, the IPA and the stout.

“Faction Brewing is a wonderful, local brewery! On a perfect day, enjoy a beer or cider on their patio overlooking the San Francisco Bay and city skyline. Catch it on a gloomier day and you can still enjoy a crafted beverage in their large indoor spaces. We host our annual donation drive here in the spring and the staff is always so fantastic. “Great beers across the board. 3 food options between in house pizza and 2 food trucks. Chose Scolari's food truck and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was outstanding. Huge indoor and outdoor space with big screen TV's to watch the games. Friendly staff and definitely pet friendly and kid friendly place.“

“I've hosted my company's family picnic at salesforce park with the Barebottle team the last two years and they have done an amazing job both times! Michael, the owner, makes working with his team so incredibly easy and enjoyable, and Daniel has worked our even both years and is also absolutely amazing! This location is really a great spot for small and larger gatherings and the Barebottle team makes the who experience great (wish we could have dogs!) We will certainly be hosting more events with this team in the future.“

“San Francisco Brewing Co. was a great experience and a really solid place to spend some time.
We worked through a good variety of beers, and everything was well done. The Nitro Imperial Stout (Basil Hayden addition, vintage 2021) stood out for how smooth and balanced it was. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Imperial Stout 2026 was rich without being too heavy.
The Farmhouse Flexing Dark Saison was easy to drink with a nice bit of complexity, and the Fog City Hazy IPA delivered a clean, juicy profile that you expect from the style. Willy Wonka’s Wildberry Blast was a fun change of pace and worth trying.
What really made the visit, though, was the staff. The bartenders were excellent. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely engaged. They made it easy to explore different options and added a lot to the overall experience.
Definitely a spot worth checking out. We’ll be back.“

“Love this place! The membership is absolutely worth it if you live in the Bay Area and can visit regularly. The staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming, and great at what they do. The sake quality never disappoints. We always leave with a smile, and every friend I’ve brought here has loved it too. Don’t miss their occasional events, they’re set in such a great atmosphere and make for a truly unique experience! One recommendation would be to open the parking lot for customers on tasting days.“

“Two pitchers is really great. It’s a little loud and lively and they seem to have trivia, but it’s such a cool vibe, it’s in a fun part of town and there’s great indoor and outdoor seating. It’s great for big groups or small and even if it’s packed there’s seating. The beer, wine and fun drink category is soooo big how can you not be happy getting a drink here. If you get hungry walk over to the courtyard and grab a burger at lovely’s.“
