“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“We stumbled upon this bakery and got tempted with the 'Hong Kong' style baked goods. We were there around 2:30pm and by then most baked items were sold out. There were a few egg custard tarts left so we took the 'buy 5 and get 1 free' offer. And I must say they are legit HK egg custard tarts ! They still tasted good the next day.Next time we will try other items.“

“I've been going to both locations for years, but this one is more convenient for me. I love everything that they bake. My favorite is the cookies. But they also made my wedding cake. I made an appointment at the Torrance location for that. It was beautifully decorated just as I requested with different flavors on each tier: red velvet with cream cheese, yellow with strawberries and whip cream, and banana with custard. Everyone raved about it! Back to the cookies. I usually go to the Gardena location for my fix. They have a cookie special on Wednesday, but I can't remember what it is. The chocolate chip cookies are great. Pro tip: get the bag of cookies vs. individual ones for a better price. The fudge chews are a cross between a brownie and a cookie. We call them brookies. They make a maple one as well. But my favorite cookie is the peanut butter. They're slightly crispy but also soft. They also make great custom cookies and cakes, donuts, petit fours, small pastries. I'm sure there's something for everyone with a sweet tooth.“

“I wanted to avoid shipping a cake all the way from NOLA and am so grateful to have found this place. I ordered a king cake for the office after a long search for a local bakery. The cake was amazing and beautifully decorated. Ordering and picking up was easy as well. I'm definitely recommending this place to the person who gets the baby for next years cake.“

“Cakes are A1 from here!! Top tier one of the best cake spots I've had in my 34 years of living !!! Must try for yourself! My go to order is the German chocolate & carrot cake both are excellent!! The woman helping behind the counter was very friendly & approachable!! If this place wasn't so far I would be here every week for a slice of cake!!! Luckily I'll be in the area at least once a month so they can count on me visiting them when I down in that part of town!! Loyal customer for sure I'll see you next month sweet red peach ! Parking is a little tight so I park across the from baskin Robbins in a little lot next to manhattan Torah center since I won't be more than 10 mins in & out of BR.“

“After being raised in LA for so many years. I learned that this cafe had been in Hawthorne for many years. We ordered the Frita Cubana, plátanos maduros, some pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso (Refugiados) and Pineapple. It seems as their pastries have a coconut and sugar wash to give the bits a different sweetness layer. We included each a Cortadito, which HIT the spot on a rainy afternoon. The service here was very attentive and fast in a laid back environment. I most definitely recommend this Cafe, over other competitors who have grown too big and have undermined the product. This visit took me back to my childhood being Cuban in LA and going shopping with my parents doing the rounds supporting our community.“

“Great lil mom-and-pop bakery! Service is great and has a large shared parking lot. This is a no-frills kind of bakery. Generally, what they offer aren't fancy but are solid basic korean-style pastries. I especially like their white bean pastry. And my goodness, they do not skimp on their fillings! Just that alone will have me coming back. Haven't gotten their cakes but they look nice and are fairly priced. They also sell coffee and korean shaved ice, which I'll have to try one day! I'll keep coming back as long as they're open :)“

They were sweet with sugar (?) but tasted like they lacked something but I can't quite put my finger on it. This bake shop is located in a tough spot for business but has a couple parking spots in front which is nice if you snag one. If you're coming from Barrington and turn right on Olympic, it's easy to then turn right on the street that JFB is located. If you're coming the opposite way, Olympic turning left to get there it's kinda dangerous imo!“

“Walked up to the Lady M Cake Boutique on Sawtelle Blvd today and had a piece of cake for my brother's birthday. My brother lives in New York City so he can go to one of the Lady M Cake Boutiques there and have a piece of the same cake. Had a piece of the salted caramel mille crepes cake. It is one of the seasonal cakes. It has the biggest picture (an entire page to itself) in the menu. It was very good. Looking forward to going to the Lady M Cake Boutique again and trying some of the other cakes.“

“I just want to give 5 stars to the customer service and the employees here. I stopped by today 4/16 around 4 pm on what is their busiest day and the employees (1 young woman & 3 young men) were so quick, very kind and smiling! It was a great vibe and their positive attitude made my visit amazing. I even saw one of the employees come out and offer ice cream to the property security guards around the store. Incredibly kind of them! It was my first time visiting this location and although the ice cream was free I felt the need to leave them a nice tip in gratitude.“

“We ordered our daughter's wedding cake from Hansen's Tarzana. It was beautiful and exactly as asked - and very reasonable. 29 years ago we ordered or own wedding cake from there as well. The taste is extraordinary and we continue to order their cupcakes. I 100% recommnend Hanson's cakes and cupcakes - Tarzana. Style, taste and delivery were perfect!“

“This is a good, neighborhood bakery on a busy stretch of Centinela near Washington. They have nice croissants and a wide selection of cupcakes. My favorite is the lemon blueberry loaf cake. It is absolutely delicious. They sell it by the slice. They also have other loaf cakes that I have not yet tried. They also have a small selection of cookies that are pretty good.“

The flavor was purple velvet and it was absolutely delicious, well-decorated, fairly priced, and perfect for our party of 10. Everyone at the table commented how delicious the cake was, how the frosting was not too sweet and the balance between the cake and the frosting was perfect. Our girls loved the sugar cookies and my 6-year old declared, "This is like the best cookie ever!" “I did a chocolate tasting through Groupon. It was such a unique experience! She goes over the chocolate making process and lets you sample some of the bars. Please note that it is mostly dark chocolate so if you do this tasting at night, it could affect your sleep since there is caffeine. I'm caffeine sensitive so i was WIRED lol. They have really unique flavors and it changes from time to time. I recommend checking them out!“

“Lupita's never disappoints! We asked for a craps table cake and they delivered! We received so many compliments on the cake it was moist and tasted very good with fresh strawberries inside! “I come to this location at least once a week. Im specifically writing this review for Halloween 2020. I know im late but hey. My little brother reminded me to write this review last night. We both came into baskin robbins on Halloween to get ice cream for the fam. Julian was so nice and patient with us. My little brother thought he was so cool. Julian gave us candy which made my little bro feel special. Made him feel like he had a friend in Julian. He acted like we were the only people he gave candy to. So thanks Julian for being so friendly and helpful! Great location. Haven't had a bad experience yet.“
