“Food was good. Complaint though about the fact they wouldn’t write us separate tickets. 😡 another way to gouge the public because they planned on us rounding up when it was $37.80 to $38 even and there was a nearly 5 dollar surcharge that they didn’t explain. Not really a good experience”

“Me and my friends had a hangout here yesterday to celebrate their birthday and we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the plain cheese pizza and it was delicious. The crust was soft and even after I took it home there were still cheese pulls and tasted fresh out of the oven I am definitely coming back again!”

“We just wanted to post how much we enjoyed dinner tonight. We were a party of four, I had your Dine Elk Grove special dinner, my wife the sausage, the other couple the burger and Sauerbraten. We all enjoyed both our meals and the beers! Typical, fresh fried German food, excellent sides and a great selection of beers! The strudel with whipped cream was the way to end the meal. The highlight was truly our server, Kylee! She has a larger than life personality and was really fun to banter with. She really made the experience fun….we’ll be back for sure, most likely on a Wednesday night Which we understand is the one night a week she works. If in Elk Grove, give them a try. “I love their food. My favorite is the fried rice, always full of veggies and tofu. I love all the cabbage, carrots, sweet peas and onions they put in the fried rice. It’s never dry all ways moist. THE BEST!!!!”

“My family and I have been to this BJ’s plenty of times over the last 11 years. We came again tonight and were not disappointed. The food was so yummy. We were starving and so happy when the food came out. I love the ahi poke with the chips. My mom and brother get the sliders and the potstickers. Sissy gets the spinach & artichoke dip with any of the pasta varieties (tonight was the ziti). My other brother got the hickory brisket burger. Yum! And then our drinks were amazing too! The Black & Tan was good. I enjoyed the blue raspberry candy rush. Thanks to Paige B. for recommending the drink to me when I couldn’t decide out of the other fruity drinks. My family and I loved Paige’s energy and attentiveness! Her costume was cute as well. I loved her makeup for Catwoman. Thanks for a lovely night BJ’s and we were blessed to have Paige B. as our waitress tonight.”

“Not just an average halal cart style restaurant. Rice is cumin infused and the meat is super juicy and flavorful with an extra umami that other places don't have. They don't skimp out on the white sauce or hot sauce for those of us who hate to not have a saucy bite each time. Love this place and the people who run it!

“Went on a Sunday around closing time and it was pretty chill. The pan dulce was yummy, they serve it warm. My fave was the pink one which is chocolate filled. Prices are fair. We tried the green smoothie and the strawberry/banana one and the dulce de leche latte.

Service was fine, cashier/server was quiet but he got out food out quickly.

Will definitely come back when their kitchen is open and try more menu items.”

“This place is exceptional. Every time I'm in Elk Grove I have to stop. I have tried their falafel, lamb and steak Gyros and shwarmas. The meat is so tender!! You won't be disappointed.”

“My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.

I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.

My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal with good portions and service.”

“Food is always great when dining in. But it seems the portions and quality changes when ordering to go. Why? The other problem they should monitor people parking in the to go spots when not picking up. I had to wait for a spot only to see a family getting in car after eating.”

I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. Acai bowl was one of the best I've had.”

“Last minute decision after flying into Sacramento on a busy Friday night with a wait list , at 8pm. Took half the time they quoted at sign in, which was greatly appreciated. All I can say is that it is obvious why they are so busy! Very nice staff, food arrived quickly and everything was excellent! Grilled pork spring rolls were great, BBQ pork banh mi was sooooo good. If you’ve never had the pleasure of a Vietnamese sandwich? It’ll change your life. Meaty, fresh tasting and really a great bargain. Wife had the chicken pho. Lots of protein….the broth was top notch….outstanding. I had the combination beef which was fantastic. Don’t miss his place!!”

“The Market inside Sky River Casino is a huge mixed restaurant area like a food court, but much better in the services and the shared dining areas.I tried most of the many food choices in the Market. Some are very good, like the hot chicken sandwich, pizzas, Vietnamese pho, and cheeseburger. They're very yummy and the portions are generous. A few items I tried will have room for improvement. For example, the prime rib sandwich, wonton noodles soup, and chowder bread bowl. But I do enjoy most of the food there.Every restaurant worker in the Market is very friendly and attentive. The cashiers are very patient and helpful if you help to order or need a recommendation from them. The cleaning workers are very polite as well. The customer service employees will come to your table to make sure you've enjoyed your meals. The Market has an excellent service even compared to any restaurant.The shared dining areas are almost one of the best shared dining rooms I have seen. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet.The Market has so many different styles of restaurants in there. I still need more time to try them all. I'm sure you'll find some dishes you like!

Parking: Finding parking spaces in the back parking lot is much easier than in the parking lot at the front of the casino.”

I’m a firm believer that you can judge the true quality of a place by their food right before closing. I ordered “to-go” approx 30 min before closing and my roll (The Lion King) was AMAZING. It needed no additional sauce and every bite was great — def ordering again.

I also decided with the Miso ramen and added seafood and again— everything was stellar (very fresh, hot soup and well cooked noodles).

The woman who checked me out was also sooooo sweet and I’ll def be coming back here in the future! Thanks again :)”

“I have been coming to the Elk Grove location of 5 or 6 years and it is the best. The employees are very nice, and the sandwiches are always delicious! They are the best of the best sandwiches by far! The Northshore is my favorite. The sandwiches are very fresh, have a lot of meat and produce and are well presented open face (see photo). Look at how much meat and produce there is compared to the amount of bread. The owner (I think her name is Lea) is very nice, very welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. I am always extremely satisfied when I go there. Great job, Lea!”

He was consistently sweeping, wiping down tables, and keeping the restaurant clean and organized while staying attentive to guests the entire time.

What truly stood out was his work ethic and professionalism. He showed more initiative, energy, and accountability than anyone else on the floor and clearly takes pride in his role. Employees like him set the standard and make a real difference in the guest experience.
