She not only not charged me for the chips after explaining the situation but gave me quite a large portion. I know chips are cheap but this small painless interaction was just so appreciated. I ordered the steak and eggs and while my steak wasn’t a perfect medium rare, the flavor and portion size made up for that immensely. The cocktails were delightful as well! Pricing was as expected for the area and quality. We were seated outside in a makeshift patio in the parking lot, but it was well done and the service was quick and attentive. Next time I would probably try to eat inside or in the smaller patio by the entrance, where the vibes and decor are beautifully done. There is ample free parking in the back as well. We had a truly great experience at STK Westwood.

Booked online. No back and forth emailing and trying to figure out a PDF. They were very communicative. Logos on the menus. Generous mimosas. Multi course menu with variety for different dietary needs.

Bonus is that our event was on the weekend so the lot next the restaurant was flat rate.“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“This restaurant is absolutely adorable, but the service wasn't great. Our waitress didn't refill our waters and didn't come around much so we could ask to have them refilled. The good news is that the delicious food and good company outweighed the service situation. We had the fish and chips and they were absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for fish and chips, but Santa Monica overall was pricey for food so this isn't necessarily a negative against the restaurant.“

I am not of of millennial restaurants where stand at a cash register and pay the tip upfront then assigned a number & number holder then fend & elbow for a table. This is old school service upgraded with innovative traffic management to expedite cuisines & cocktails. I love the intimacy of the raised railroad car booths where I can actually hear my guest’s conversation and speak to wait staff at eye level. And the bathrooms are so modern and spotless! “The Tuck Room is one of those restaurants that does everything really well but doesn’t leave a memorable impression. The service was utilitarian-they did everything right but it’s like the team lacked enthusiasm. The atmosphere had a great design but felt void of any energy. And the food was prepared well, had a nice presentation, and tasted good, but I didn’t leave thinking I’d like to come back to experience it again. I’m definitely not against recommending The Tuck Room, but I can’t make as strong of a recommendation as part of me would like to give.“

“Thank you so much farmshop!!! Please know your kindness meant a lot to all of us after the palisades fire. We we're waiting in line to receive an escort back into the Pacific palisades following the fire! This line was at least 300 cars long. People had been waiting in it since early yesterday, desperately hoping to see if they still had a home following the mandatory evacuation. There was a lot of collective heartache going around, but also two gentleman from Farmshop, carrying baskets full of banana bread. They stopped by every car, giving each occupant a hearty slice of freshly baked banana bread. My family just inhaled this stuff! Taking a bite, all of us commented how much it tasted like the banana bread grandma use to make. I don't know if you were using the same recipe or you both baked that bread with love, but talk about soul food! It didn't just feed our bellies, it fed our hearts. A person doesn't easily forget the grace and goodness they're given when engulfed in grief, and Ill never forget the first time i took a bite of Farmshop's banana bread!!! Thank you! Thank you! “I seriously regret not coming here sooner. I have been living in this area since 2009. This was my first visit. And I absolutely love the Ahi burger. It looks like backbone meat, but it is huge and fresh to taste. The salad version is better imo.

Anyway, it's not just burgers and pizzas here. They have great menu selection.

“Stayed here for a few days. Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. No food between 10-4pm if you’re in the hotel. Their little market does have food to go options.

Breakfast opens at 6am. Sadly, you can’t pre-order. I ordered for delivery one more and then pickup the next. If you order online, make sure to pay attention if you pick room service or pickup.

Had dinner a few times. They have grilled octopus. The one that I got was a tad salty and lemony. I’m not keen on lemon on my seafood. It was tender. So if you don’t mind it, then you’ll be ok. Otherwise, let them know to go easy on the lemon and salt. Also ordered fish tacos, chicken wings and truffle Parmesan fries. Out of all of them, I’d say truffle Parmesan was the best.

“Food is worth of every penny, I know food is little bit costly (if you compare it with other restaurant), but surely you'll definitely like the food. The only thing which I don't like is the atmosphere of the restaurant, I mean I was there at dinner time, and lots of rush was there, and because of over crowd surrounded by me, I cannot eat peacefully.
But overall my experience was good. 4/5 rating from me“

Staff was excellent and attentive. Food was amazing and very, very creative. The brick barrel vaulted ceiling that runs the length of the restaurant really adds to the ambiance of this place. Out of the seven dishes, only two were not as flavorful as expected. They were good by most other restaurant's standards, but just not great like the others. The other five dishes more than made up for this small blip.Can't wait to go again.

Hamachi with sprouted broccoli, tempura, ponzu, shiso aioli, Black Sesame Seeds
Charred Brussels Sprouts with almonds, grapes, and Pecorino Romano
Lamb chops with Aji Amarillo, rosemary, and yogurt. These were the most tender lamb chops I have ever had. And that often overly-lamb flavor was not there.
And do not pass up on the Charred Skirt Steak with yuca, chile de árbol, and aji mojo. Cooked to a perfect medium rare and extremely tender and exploding with flavor. The most expensive item of our dinner at $48 and absolutely worth it.“

“I always love stopping by On The Thirty to hangout/dine when in the area!

It's right on Ventura with a nice outdoor patio space, so it's great for a bit of people watching (or perhaps more like car watching at times)!

They're usually playing sports on the tv's inside when we go, but we usually just chill on the outdoor space.

Service has always been super friendly and good about making sure you're taken care of and giving you refills/anything else you may need.

For the food - last time I went, I got one of the salads (trying to be a little bit healthier haha)!
It was HUGE, super fresh, and packed FULL of flavor from all the delicious toppings. The perfect mix of textures with some crunchiness.
There's plenty of other menu items as well - we've had items like the burgers, brick oven pizzas, and ceviche in the past.
All are very generously portioned, packed with high quality ingredients, and super tasty/satisfying to enjoy!

Oh yeah, and if you drink...the cocktails here are tasty and STRONG!

“The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service made this a memorable visit.
If it wasn't for Isaac, I probably wouldn't have felt confident ordering the aguachile. He assured me it was worth trying, and he wasn't exaggerating, it was everything I could have asked for. (With more shrimp than agua & chile combined) As someone who loves lime, this dish exceeded all of my expectations.
I came in alone on a Sunday evening just looking to satisfy my appetite, but I left feeling like I had experienced much more than a great meal. Isaac made me feel at home, even bringing extra spices so my Hispanic side would be fully satisfied.
My Spanish (and even my English 😅) isn't always the best, but Isaac is perfectly bilingual and made sure he understood exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you to the Brixton management for building such a welcoming team. These days, it's about more than just good food. People want to feel comfortable and cared for as if they're enjoying Mom's cooking with Dad's warm presence. That's exactly how this experience felt.... I'll definitely be back for more! 🍽“
