Had to wait 20 minutes outside the front door waiting for our table (which was not a big deal) but for the incredibly squeaky front door which opens repeatedly. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“

From the moment we arrived, the owner, Fred, met us and made sure we were well cared for, the same care he gave each table. The staff never rushed us and made sure everyone's needs were met including getting the kids orders out quickly while the rest of us celebrated. This is a rare find in today's restaurant world and our whole family looks forward to visiting and dining there soon. “I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

This was not the intended destination, but my friend and I were extremely glad that we went, since we're Francophiles!! They feature classically French dishes, but also Italian, making it a bit of fusion cuisine. Okay, a mojito is not French, but it was one of the best I have had in a very long time! I stuck to French cuisine. Started with soup a l'onion. Delicious! A lot of gruyere and the right amount of onions, bread and soup. Next were the escargots in olive oil with a lot of garlic! Yum! Main course was the mussels! Those had to be the largest, most succulent mussels I have ever had! They came with fries, but you really didn't need them. I brought them home. Last was the Napoleon or mille feuille. Creamy! There were three layers: one with just the cream, second with strawberries, and the last with nuts. Wow! Never had one like that!The proprietor was very kind. He brought us our drinks and was very kind when we spoke to him in French. Wait staff was very courteous and we felt no pressure to eat and leave. To show how good this place was, we ended up sitting next to a well known French actor. My friend recognized him first. They say that if people of the same nationality as the restaurant dine there, it's usually a compliment to the restaurant and a testament of the food. This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

“Love the atmosphere and the music. The food was good but there are some key points to take note of. The tortilla soup was distinctly lacking in salt to bring the flavors together and there were FAR too many carrots. It cam across very bland initially until I added a lot of salt. The Big Curious Salad was very tasty and the dressing light but flavorful. I added beef skewers to the salad and those skewers were AMAZING! Please note that the online photos show the big curious salad with avocado and clementine, that is not the correct photo as the big curious has neither of those ingredients. All in all an enjoyable meal.“

“I was having a pretty bad day and then me and some of my friends decided to make a trip down to the beach, my cousin Giovanni recommended this place and while hesitant we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival we marveled at the glorious atmosphere. I ordered a grilled chicken melt which was fantastic, but the most glorious part of the night came when the lovely waitress offered if we wanted a slice of pie I was again hesitant as I have never tried a banana pie and wouldn't see myself enjoying it. As soon as it was brought out and I took a bite and I took a glance at my friend then my cousin and we all looked at each other in disbelief, we questioned ourselves but ultimately concluded that this was the best pie we had ever tried. The pie was so creamy and the bananas toppings and filling really brought it all together. The breading was like the Lord himself gave instructions on how to make it. In that moment when me and my companions glanced at each other I felt a sense of togetherness it brought me back to my childhood when my single mother would come home and bake me and my siblings a nice fresh pie. We were in a small room in the rear with just 3 tables: ours, one with two men and an empty table. The two men were talking so loud that we couldn't hear each other at our own table. We commented to our server (who kind of shrugged) and then finally one of the women at our table calmly, politely told the men she was enjoying their conversation but couldn't hear the conversation at our own table. They chuckled ("are we talking too loud?") and then proceeded to continue their conversation. It was so uncomfortable that the woman celebrating her birthday said although she liked the food she'd never return to the restaurant. The men had finished their meal about halfway through our meal and we were anxiously waiting for them to leave, but they didn't. Definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. I think the server, or host, could have helped to have them turn down the volume.“
“Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

The burger, while declicious, is too oozy and it's difficult not to drip all over myself. Wait staff is very nice. There was a "Wellness Surcharge," which I find annoying because I don't know whose wellness. I'd prefer the restaurant simply raise their prices and pay for the wellness of all by themselves. I've had two businesses and always paid for my employee's insurance. It shouldn't be put in the lap of the customer.“

It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“
