“I went here last night for Valentine’s Day and it was an absolute pleasure. The chateaubriand was gorgeous cooked perfectly, the shrimp we had were amazing , the wine pairing was astounding. The piano music was beautiful and set the mood for the evening. Our server Grant was fantastic. The service was attentive and fast but not overbearing they knew exactly when to come and when to leave you to enjoy your food. This is my second time here and I was not disappointed.“
“I went for my birthday based on reviews & I needed something to enjoy. I’m typically a Ruth Chris girlie, but I’ve been so many times. I took myself btw. I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. The atmosphere was beautiful, the lighting was perfect too. They even gave me a birthday card & the dessert was a 10/10. It was literally the best birthday I’ve had in years. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend coming here again.“
“Fia Steak Restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience that surpassed all expectations. From the warm and knowledgeable staff to the exquisite culinary offerings, every aspect of the evening was exceptional. The appetizers, including the crunchy tuna cigars, hamachi crudo, and the newly introduced kingfish crudo, tantalized the taste buds with their harmonious flavor combinations. The steak tartare, with its spicy kick, was a standout dish, setting the stage for the incredible entrees to follow. The truffle cavatelli was a personal favorite, but the oxtail agnolotti stole the show with its rich wine and meat sauce, leaving a lasting impression as one of the most remarkable pasta dishes ever tasted. The bone-in ribeye, cooked to perfection and accompanied by dauphinois gratin of potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus, showcased the restaurant's mastery of steak. Additionally, the A5 Wagyu, a kitchen recommendation, was a delectable indulgence.Dessert was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary meal, with the chocolate soufflé and sticky toffee pudding topped with vanilla ice cream providing a sweet finale. Fia Steak Restaurant has set the bar exceptionally high with its unparalleled hospitality, service, and culinary quality. This dining experience was truly magical, THANK YOU, Fia Steak!“
“Highly recommend ! Had my bday celebration and the experience was immaculate. From the manager greeting then checking in multiple times, to the incredible dishes. Seafood was super fresh. Perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Thank you for having us !“
“Street parking in the area is almost impossible, luckily they have a valet ($20 cash only). The service was really good from the hostess, to the wait staff, everybody took amazing care of us. I started with an espresso martini. This was by far the best one I have ever had. We shared a few dishes: beet salad, endives, truffle fries, mac n cheese, wagyu porterhouse and a few desserts. Everything was incredible. Their wagyu porterhouse is sourced from Snake River farms. It was cooked to perfection with a nice charred crust on the outside while kept pink on the inside - well seasoned and very juicy. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with it, those were so smooth and creamy. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!“
“We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Meat On Ocean, and it really is the perfect choice for an upscale evening out. The decor is welcoming and pleasing to the eye -- and yes, as other reviews have mentioned, brighter and much less claustrophobic than the usual "serious" steakhouse. The front of house staff was friendly and attentive, and our specific server was very knowledgeable about the details of the nightly special steak cuts, which were plentiful. Cocktails were tasty, and the flavorful Parker House-style rolls were served warm in a miniature cast iron pan. My steak -- a 45-day aged bone-in ribeye -- was cooked perfectly and presented sliced, which I requested. The flavor was deep and savory, and the texture was as tender as anyone would want. My wife ordered the king crab legs, and she enjoyed them immensely. I stole a taste, and the crab was indeed very tender and flavorful. A side of macaroni & cheese with candied, apple wood smoked bacon was a decadent flourish added to the plate, but most of it came home (not a bad thing). The only disappointment, and the reason for 1 missing star, was the appetizer of Jamon Iberico. Usually served paper thin and edged in fat, the jamon will melt on the tongue and be packed with flavor. In this case, the slices were thick, unusually dark, and tough to chew, almost like a jerky. As this was a special night out, I didn't want to complain, but this was not a proper service of Iberico, as one might find in other restaurants in Los Angeles, especially at San Laurel (or any place run by Jose Andres). But, despite this one misstep, the overall meal and experience were top notch, and we will most certainly be going back before too long.“
“Food: 4 stars - solid steak, very nicely grilled. After all, the name says 'the Grill,' and it did not disappoint. And who wouldn't like a great steak with onion rings! Service: 5 stars - servers in uniform, very professional, attentive, east coast vibe. Ambiance: 5 stars - very spacious, not too noisy where you can have a conversation. Again, east coast vibe of a steakhouse. One wish - I wish the fries were a little thinner. Overall, solid.“
“Dinner for 4 on a Thursday at 7pm. Small parking lot was full, we had to circle for street parking. No Valet. Busy inside. They only seat once the entire party is present. There were several groups waiting for their people, the entryway was crowded. It's loud inside, I later saw a warning from my phone! Food was tasty. Portion sizes good. La Jolla potatoes are kinda like scalloped potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding to share was great.“
“The new location of the Woodlands Hills restaurant is an upgrade in all respects. It also seemed quite busy for a Tuesday evening and louder than our last visit at the old location. As usual, the service provided by Josh and his support staff was constantly attentive and very friendly. The food was great tasting as always but I do have one complaint. I had the 16 oz. rib-eye, a favorite, perfectly medium-rare and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, I should have asked for a sharper knife: it was pretty rubbery and had more connective tissue throughout than I've had in restaurant-quality meat. Should I have said something? Maybe but we were enjoying dinner with friends, I didn't want to sit with no food and I thought it would improve as I went. It didn't. I kept pulling pieces off (literally, couldn't quite get the serrated knive to cut through some places) until the white strings were left behind for the next bite. At least being overly chewy meant I enjoyed the flavor longer. Hopefully, this was an anomaly as my first, less than great experience at Ruth's Chris.“
“Larsens is number one in SoCal for me. I like Flemings but Larsens is still The One❤️. I gave three stars on service because I grabbed a table in the lounge and waited maybe 9-10 mins ppl walking around it wasnt busy and nobody came to my table, went back to the front to make a change and the host (1 of 4ppl) could have done better at grabbing me a seat in the very empty dinning room instead of going through it to the point that I almost bailed. My server was on point and I appreciated that! I ordered 2 Rib Eye Steaks to conpare the 18 oz to the 20 oz… 18 won ALL THE WAY! I took them both to go. Thanks Larsens see you again soon“
“We wanted to treat our local Fire Department for dinner as a thank you for their service. I had called Monty's inquiring about this and if they could assist me with having it delivered to the station. While this is a dine in establishment, they went above and beyond to ensure the food was delivered on time. I'm beyond grateful for the amazing service and can't say enough great things about the food! Thank you Monty's for your contribution in helping us give back! Very much appreciated. Tracy - DPM“
“Great place to eat specially on a date night service is phenomenal, I definitely recommend that you book, at least a week in advance. I am not gonna complain about the prices, because what would you expect from a celebrity restaurant in Beverly Hills ? Overall amazing place.“
“Our first time there. We were a group of 8 for a birthday party. The food was amazing. The meat was grilled medium rare. The vegetable sides were seasoned just right. The birthday boy got a smoked old fashioned that reminded me of a campfire. Our server and staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu had suggestions for the meal. An outstanding meal and experience.“
“Only came in for a drink and snack at happy hour, but the Juan margarita was so delicious, and the wedge salad so perfect that we wished we'd had time on our trip to come back for a proper hangout. Such a cozy and lovely patio, and super, friendly service. Will definitely return next trip!“
“We went in for an early lunch. Got to the store about 5 minutes before opening. It was a little brisk out. The manager saw us out front and let us wait in the lobby to get out of the cold. Very nice and unexpected. Our server was pleasant. Started with the cheese curd appetizer. It was filling. Grilled salmon was cooked correctly fresh and flavorful. Tried the vampire spicy pork tacos. Ordered three. They were delicious and filling. Took one home, not good reheated. Craving for good ol fish & chips. Nice batter and flakey. Upgraded to parmesan fries. All meals were delicious. Recommend a visit.“

“It's a laid back steak house vibe Prices are comparable if not better than other steak houses in LA. Inside and outside are obviously different. From some of these reviews it seems like people don't understand that. they have heaters btw! But depending on the weather and my party size I go back and forth. Really love the happy hour here! Best burger on westside! Lily is fantastic and always super helpful The bar is so fun on Friday and Saturday nights!! Although can get a little cougarish Baker and kelly are awesome!!! Love stopping in on Friday nights when they are working!“
“Had a nice dinner. Service was fair. Ordered a Prime Rib dinner and was served a Ribeye Steak. The server tried to convince me it was Prime Rib....but come on....I have been cooking and grilling 50 years and know the difference. It was tasty though....just not what was ordered. Bar service is rather slow.“
“I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.“
“First time going to STK and the customer service & environment was nothing short of spectacular. My friend and I sat at the bar and Darren greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of and made our first visit amazing! Food was great, vibe was great and Darren was on top of our food and made sure we had everything we wanted. We felt very welcomed & important even though it was a full house. Everyone was amazing! Can't wait to be back! :)“
“Great food, great environment, great workers. Kelly is always amazing, very friendly, inviting and kind. Linda greets everyone with a smile. The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. The vibe is good for anything from date night to a place to enjoy a dodger game. You can't go wrong with Safari room!“
“this was a Sat. night. Got very busy about 6:30 Pm. We were seated at 6 pm per our reservation. Food was excellent, Server did a fine job. Only concern was feeling rushed. Still had salad left to finish and entrees came out very (too) quickly. We were done with our meal in an hour. So many people were waiting as we left that it was hard to make a path to the door to exit.“
“We went to celebrate a birthday we were a party of 15. I highly appreciate the accommodation for a large party! The food was good but meat was a bit overdone. I suggest if u want medium ask for medium rare. But the main reason I am writing this is because of the exceptional service! Lily our server was amazing she was attentive and kind! You don’t find such exceptional servers anymore!! She is a GEM take good care of her! Lily thank you so much for everything ?“
“It was my daughter's bday celebration. As soon as we walked into the restaurant the hostess greeted my daughter with Happy Birthday. The lobster bites are to die for. They brought my daughter a bday sundae with a candle. It was a wonderful evening.“
