“Only popped in for a quick coffee during our drive but had to right a review! I got a dirty chai and it was MAGICAL!!! Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got a black coffee and it was very good as well! Great place to stop for coffee! Didn't get a chance to try the food - next time! :)“

“I recently moved to San Anselmo, and am so happy I “found” The Hummingbird in nearby Fairfax. It’s in a good location at 57 Broadway Blvd. with plenty of free parking across the street. I really like the New Orleans vibe at The Hummingbird. The menu includes several creole items alongside standard breakfast and lunch choices. The servers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. I love their catfish po’ boy sandwich. The fried green tomato BLT is very good too. My third visit will happen next week — I’m thinking waffle & fried chicken this time . . . or maybe the fried shrimp po’ boy sandwich.“

“Equator Coffees is a great spot if you care about quality coffee and a comfortable atmosphere. The drinks taste consistently well crafted, whether it’s a simple drip coffee or a specialty latte. You can tell they use high-quality beans, and the flavor is smooth and balanced, not bitter.
The cafes have a clean, modern feel and are good for meeting friends or getting some work done. Staff have been friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and service moves at a good pace even during busy times.
I also like their food and pastry options — fresh and a nice complement to the drinks. It feels like a step above typical coffee chains without being pretentious.
Overall, a reliable place for good coffee, relaxed vibes, and quality service. Definitely recommend if you enjoy well-made coffee.“
“Five stars across the board! This place is the best! The people who work here are super friendly and kind. Excellent coffee and pastries. The chai is spicy and not too sweet. Great breakfast burritos. Totally recommend!!!
Edit: Just went again; they are so nice!!! Love this place!“
“Want some super cute gifts? ☑️ Great art gallery too. The T-shirt options were all great, I found it very hard to choose just one.“

“Very good coffee. The workers there are courteous and fast getting your order to you. I usually stop at this Novato location after I get off of a Golden Gate Transit coach from San Francisco, get my coffee, sit at one of the outside tables and relax before calling a LYFT car to go and visit with relatives. PEETE'S great coffee would be so much better if it could be served at a temperature where I would be forced to sipp it.“

“What a gem of a restaurant! We unintentionally stumbled upon Bolinas earlier this month while on vacation. When the Muir Woods closed due to the government shutdown, we pivoted, and we are so happy we did. Our party of 8, which they so accommodatingly allowed us to spilt into separate tables for 4 adults and 4 tweens, had the best time on their patio. The service was stellar and warm, the atmosphere was friendly and there wasn't a stranger to be found, and the food was even better than both those combined. Thanks to the whole crew for being the highlight of the day.“
“really good stuff! super nice staff!“

“The maple blueberry muffin was the best muffin I’ve ever had and I am not generally overly effusive in my reviews. The London Fog was also perfectly balanced, not too sweet with the earl grey coming through nicely. Also kudos to the baker for the perfect rings on the croissant! It was pretty crowded so I might aim for a weekday next time.“

“Went on a Sunday morning and even though it was busy I got through the line quickly and my drink was ready in just a few minutes. I got a black and white mocha and thought it was very sweet but in a good way. It can feel a bit cramped inside but there is plenary of outdoor seating.“

“I don’t want to ruin this classic San Anselmo business’ income, but in lieu of a website or email address, I’m compelled to leave this public review in hopes that ownership sees it. You guys are over roasting your African beans to a criminal degree. Yirgacheffe and Tz pea berry are such delicate, complex beans, with so many floral / fruity / light flavors, that roasting them within an inch of their lives completely misses their point. Far be it from me to tell someone else how to run their business, but as someone with a deep knowledge of and passion for single origin light roast coffees, you guys shouldn’t do this to your (very expensive) Ethiopian and Tanzanian beans. Dark roast the other stuff. I’m sure most people want that. But please light roast those beans. I’m throwing away the one pound bag of yirgacheffe I bought yesterday, heartbroken at how burnt and undrinkable it is. For reference: V60 / medium ground / tetsu kasuya pour method. Side note: incredibly kind staff, and old school San Anselmo charm. Just burnt beans.“

“I had lunch here with a friend and it was such a nice break. Sitting on the sunny terrace at the picnic tables gave it a real vacation feel. The lunch options are fresh and farm-to-table inspired, simple but well done. The bread is excellent, so good that I brought one home. A relaxed spot with good food and an easy, pleasant atmosphere.“

“I enjoy the vintage oaks starbucks because it has great carmel frappachino's. I really appreciate the chance to sit down and rest my feet. I usually stop by there before I go shopping or afterwards. It is also cool and very peaceful and quiet all the times that I have been there. ☺“

“Ordered the mini Tortes during the Covid-19 stay time and got them in 24 hours at home and they were incredible! Well with it. Recommend for those gluten free and they have vegan friendly items!!“
“Since some of the restaurants in the Point Reyes/Inverness area are only open Friday-Sunday, the Inverness Park Market can help fill the gap. We were in Inverness on a Wednesday, looking for lunch. The deli counter/restaurant at the Inverness Park market was a welcome surprise. We throughly enjoyed the generous portions of fajitas and burrito. You order at the counter, pay at the cashier, and pick up your order at the counter. Service is quick and friendly. You can eat at tables indoors or out on the porch or patio. (The only drawback was that there is no bathroom; the porta-potties adjoining the building were barely adequate.) In addition to Mexican specialties, the counter provides all kinds of sandwiches. Recommended!“
